El Paso Zoo Review

It was so big we only got see one half of it, but will definitely be back to see the other side. Kids loved riding the train, playing in splash pad

My Family and I enjoyed going to El Paso zoo as much as we could the two years we ve been in El Paso! We re sure going to miss this city! Thanks so much El Paso zoo for being so great to my family every time we visited. Also, thank you Terri for being amazing and wishing us well on our next journey. You really just spoke volumes of how above and beyond you all go for your visitors. We truly appreciate it, and if we come back to El Paso we ll be back in for another membership.

Boo at the zoo was really fun and my kids enjoyed it. The only thing was that i think they should prohibit for the stands to carry candy with peanuts. We didnt notice and my son of 6 years old had candies with peanuts and got a really bad allergic reaction. So plz el paso zoo take in consider of those who have allergic reactions toward peanuts. Thank you.

A place that has to be known, especially for children

We decided to purchase the full annual membership for our family of four (and cousins!). You get discount at the gift shop and access to over 100 zoos nationwide. Well worth the investment!

It seems like every time I take my family there they always have 1/4 of the exhibits closed

I went with my family and i only saw 5 animals not even 1 bear.Theyre starting to remodel so the food court wasnt open.We just heard the hammers banging into wood.There was NO monkeys NO elephants so my little sister got excited for nothing.

Not many animals out but kids had plenty of fun in the park n getting wet

Went during their boo at the zoo Halloween event. It was really busy and full of families. Loved the diversity of the animals and saw a couple I had never seen before at other big zoos! Although the variety of animals was wonderful, many placards needed to be edited because the information wasn't correct.

I really liked this zoo. We were visiting from out of town and got to attend a trick or treat event that was really fun. My kids loved a special hula hoop show we got to see too. And I felt like more of the animals were out and visible than in my hometown where it tends to be colder.

Lions and tigers and bears oh my!! Go see the other animals of El Paso... It's growing and slowly getting better

Believe price is to high to enter for what you get also food prices are too high. They have alot of work to do

Love it. Two years running as a member. Great place for families. Still improving. Can't wait to see the Chihuhuan Desert area upgrades. They're really trying hard to up their game.

A great place to visit in El Paso. Watch out for directions by google maps; it took us to two different employee entrances until we found the right one on our own. Wear sunscreen for sure. Lots of fun animals to see.

What a great zoo! It's a good size to walk around and kill an afternoon without getting exhausted and I was impressed by the variety of animals.

Bathrooms were cool...water fountains have cold water..MMMMMM !!!!

Decent variety of animals, great play area, friendly staff, decent pricing, and have yet to see a crowd.

Very weak exhibits. A few rare finds but not much to see. Overpriced, but I hope it contributes to the animals.

Nice zoo for city's size. Wasnt too crowded today (Thursday, late May). Very reasonable price for admission with seasons passes available and discounts at other zoos.

Entertaining for the whole family. My grandson enjoyed it.

Altho the zoo facilities are nice, I don't go to the zoo because I believe the animals are sad and need to be out in the wild

The zoo is located in middle of the city and the maintenance of the zoo is awesome

Shame,shame,shame they announced star wars. Events, ah!!! But they were asleep just like the same o same o you visit and no one there. But the apeakers were ringing loudly enough everywhere like the ice cream truck in the neighborhood. And the beat goes on life keeps pumping rhythms to the brain.

Some attractions were close by 1430, closing time was 1700.

They needed some major cleaning up just the dead weeds are built up and cant see some of the animals. The aninals need a better atmosphere it was depressing and kind like jail for those animals.

The zoo fits El Paso. The prices were decent and they accommodated military families abd honored the military IDs. It was a big enough zoo that it took most of the day to walk around, and there was plenty of places to view. I would highly recommend this stop whenever it opens!

I didn't like that they have a Carousel and a train and they charge extra to ride them. Increase the entrance a couple of dollars more per person but have the train and the carousel included. Train is not even worth the $2 more per person.

Lots of shade areas, food was pricy, lots of activities

My granddaughter and I had a blast. She enjoyed the animals and water.

There are no unicorns .....They refused to refund me

Small enough to complete walking the whole thing in 2 hours.food is not so good.

Right now at this point they have a lot of construction but I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again in the summer they have plenty of things going on to really get the whole family invested. They are really improving and everything

i am from Toledo , so i found my self comparing. We Had wonderful family time and enjoyed the turtles and giraffe the most, I give the birds {Avery} a ten , being able to walk around with them over and all around.

My family and I really loved the zoo, wasn't too crowed, and there was a lot of animals to see, and ticket was cheap.

A very nice zoo! This place is clean, and well kept. The exhibits were nice, and the animals were easy to view. A great trip!

Good time for kids! My children love the zoo. New improvements (splash pad, play area, carousel) are great.

Had fun with the family it s getting very nice on the new edition there adding. Well worth every dollar can t wait to come back to see the edition.

It was fun, I wish more exhibits were open, but it was a nice stroll.

Half the animals weren't available for viewing which they warned us about at the ticket counter so that's on us. We were already there so we went in and it was still worth going. Clean, and the animals mostly looked happy.

It was a good experience for the money. We were able to see the lions, zebras, elephants, meerkats, orangutans, monkeys, some reptiles, giraffes were hiding, reindeer, wolf, few other animals that I can't remember the names of...overall good. Would recommend- zoo was not crowded, got to see all animals at our pace. The cafeteria could use some sprucing.

We take our granddaughter here all the time, she wants to go every week! Lol. We enjoy walking around looking at the animals. Parking is always simple here at this zoo. Wish it was a little bigger but we do get tired of the walking we do here. If you ve never been here and you have small children or like the zoo, it doesn t disappoint. A tip, if you re going to let the little ones get wet, do it right when you get in so they have the day to dry off. The water is to the right as you walk in.

Our children love the zoo. We got a pass and it has been well worth it.

Great animal, reptile and born exhibits. The bird show was very entertaining. Will definitely go again.

There were some exhibits that were down, but it's an enjoyable zoo!

Great zoo. Small but well presented attractions and affordable. Takes about 2 hours to see everything.

Beautful place to go with the family, it is fun and offers interesting shows. You can eat there in one of the two restaurants or, bring your cooler.
