A masterpiece. You MUST see it once in a lifetime!!

Impressive, during the week there is almost no tail. It is art in its purest form.

An incredible work of art. If you do get the chance, don't miss a visit. Tickets were sold out weeks in advance and the queue for tickets on the day was very long and slow moving. So pls book ahead (or take a chance like we did. We bought some left over tickets from a guide for 3 extra)

Perfection: when you say a statuesque physicist, the reference model is undoubtedly this.

Even more impressive in the flesh or should I say marble. Well worth a visit. The museum was much more manageable than the ufitzi and so easier to take in the splendour

Glad to make it here. Went early in the morning to avoid a long line. Gorgeous collection of art and statues. Small enough to look over in an hour and continue on.

If you go to Florence don't miss Michelangelo's David. It is located in the Accademia Gallery. It is spectacular, to be seen at least once in a lifetime. You need to book the entrance.

As expected. Sort of a must do when in florence... dude is big...

Little must be said about David ... if you go to Florence and have never seen him, surely you are going. Normally there is a line to enter and it is the main sculpture of the museum. Impress the size and perfection.

Simply perfect from any perspective. It has been very well preserved over time, certainly thanks to the employees. A work not to be missed during a visit to Florence!

I don't think anything else can be said about Michelangelo's David except that it is one of the most majestic, ingenious and admirable masterpieces of Italian art. Made by a great genius whose name, together with other exponents, confirms the Italian Nation and makes it famous for his art, among many things, all over the world.

Spectacular visit, very short wait to enter and beautiful work.

It is very expensive to see only the statue, the rest of the museum is left very much aside and ignored by people, this takes away attention from other important works.

It is unique, to be seen absolutely, impressive in size and realism

Michelangelo is the greatest ever! The David is magnificent and just looking at it gives you confidence and determination. A must see !!!!

Beautiful place and beautiful sculpture. You pay 12 practically just to see David, but it's worth it

The ambiance is beautiful because you're in the main center of Florence, which is gorgeous. We ordered the Alfredo Pasta, but asked the waiter to take it back because it was very bland. The mussels we had were great, and we ordered a half margherita and half burrata pizza which was delicious. The server was very kind and it was a great experience. Definitely suggest going here.

Bigger than expected. Due to the wrong positions, the proportions are not right. Unfortunately, this is only experienced when you google it. Described is not fas.

It seems incredible to get to make such a beautiful sculpture. It is essential to see it.

the main attraction for Academic gallery is David. other pieces are interesting but not so much. the statue itself is not in proportion but that's because it was originally designed to be viewed from down below. it's original place was top of duomo. but when it was completed it was moved to the entrance of plazzo vechio.

all in all its worth it but like I say the main attraction is just David.

Magnificent piece of art. The detail is amazing. And the statue in full scope is enormous.

Badly organized many hours of waiting. It can be more agile. If you have a few euros left you go to the resale and tail goggles.

To be seen. Nothing in common with the exposed copy

Must see. There are no words to describe the grandeur and energy that this sculpture radiates

Amazing place the rest of the museum is super cool if you are interested in religious iconography, I do wish the AC was more prominent as everyone had to have paper fans too keep themselves cool

My fave piece of art! I wanted to see David ever since High School. He's as gorgeous as I imagined. I was amazed (and took 100 pictures from all the angles and zooms lol)! Also when you plan your visit to this gallery, you won't need more than 20 minutes, it's really small.

The maximum perfection the statue was pulled out of the marble as if it were a man enclosed in a box ... perfect!

Nor do I hate him is a masterpiece of the human being.

Must see "the david" the real David if in florence!
