What can we say, the marble block of Carrara, a transformation into a unique work of art, other than Stendhal's syndrome, to be placed on its knees before such a work, shivering to think that a human being could have carved this magnificence. Great, sublime

Long line but worth the wait! The line moved quickly but it is probably better to pre-purchase your ticket to avoid the line in the heat.

I never thought I saw perfection made sculpture! Wonderful!!!

Great visit.. just go late if you dont want to line up. Tickets were 12 per adult. Michael Angelo was the main attraction. It was worth seeing a master piece up close. Totally worth it.

The statue is absolutely incredible. The picture doesn't do it justice! We got very lucky at the time the city was offering free admission to museums.

The David is simply breathtaking. One unforseen highlight of the museum is that leading up to the David, they have unfinished works by Michelangelo. Until seeing those, it never really clicked that he would start with a blank slab of marble. Astonishing!

Very long the row, justify if you really love art if it is not like that is a lot of waiting

This statue stands 7.13m very imposing. Pay attention to the hands. The toes were damaged in 1991 and had to be repaired.

The most attractive thing about the Accademia Gallery is definitely Michelangelo's David, you can visit it although there are large queues to enter.

Some days entrance are free. And there is no line of chinese photo-tourists to enter.

An amazing piece of art you have to see with your own eyes to fully appreciate.

The beautiful works. But the porter was very rude to us and an old lady, was aggressive and even threatening, I was very frightened by his coarse. I recommend the museum to better choose the people that cater to tourists, after all and our money that keeps the museum open. Very sad about his reaction.

I think there's only a very few people who have rated this place a 1. To them we all say you don't understand art, go lie down and drink your beer . This place is a must go. Unfinished statues just shows the work involved in these projects. Main attraction is amazing. Well worth the visit.
