Incredible. Everything you imagine it being. Only draw back was the folks pushing small bottles of beer on you in the courtyard. Great views. Beautiful structure
The most important secret for getting the best Eiffel Tower experience is going at the perfect time of day! About an hour before sunset is perfect. Seriously this is the best way to overlook Paris in the daylight and after you snap a few pictures and wander around the top you will get to see all the sparkling lights over the city at night.
A great place, I've been there few years ago! But still, have a look at my sister's drawing of the Eiffel Tower
Was there in the end of August. Line for the tickets was about 40 minutes, and then 20 min waiting time for elevator. Which is not bad for high season. The tower itself is really beautiful and pretty interesting! Use the stairs to go down, it will give you a nice experience!
When I saw the line for reservation holders, I knew I wasn't going up the Eiffel Tower this day. That's what you get with probably the number 1 tourist destination on the planet. The tower itself is surrounded by very high, very unattractive barrier. -2 stars for the poorly kept, poorly signed site. Propably would return but first thing in the morning.
Yes , it's the Eiffel Tower. It's Magical. But lets get to some points. Do not depend on visiting it according to the hour's listed online. We reached at 8pm for the nightly visit and they closed it down. It was supposed to close at 12:45 am. Security and the tour team simply said : No, closed. No explanation. Wasted our one day that we had for it.
Amazing structure, wondurfull view, it was like a dream.
Going to see the Eiffel never gets old day or evening.
A Wow experience.. You'll never forget this experience. What a view from the top. It's really great. But only thing is you've to wait in a long queue to get this experience
it was my bday , want to see the full moon and I did . POINT OF GOING PARIS &DON'T SEE THE EIFFEL TOWER. 1ST TIME I GET ON A PLANE
One of most famous landmarks of the world today it really doesn t disappoint. Careful with knee pain it taking stairs all the way up&down. Also tickets for higher part exclusively by elevator need to be bought at entrance to tower; sadly you can t buy them on the tower, if deciding on the spot you ll have to go down again and back up.
What a fantastic view, as the sun set and the tower lights came on.... wonderful.
This behemoth of a monument in Paris is so fantastic close up! We opted for the guided tour and I think its well worth it! We learned so much from our guide about the story behind the tower and the people and even government. The sights are great, we did unfortunately meet fog so the summit was closed :(
Great place to visit for sure it.
I love it
As Touristy as it is it s an absolute must! Is there a more iconic structure on the planet, I think not. Join the crowds of people to make your way to the top. Goes without saying the views are awesome.
This place is pretty awesome. This was the tallest tower in nineteenth century.
Mind blowing architecture, beautiful view from the top and in true sense a romantic place to be in! Went twice and now in love with that place
Go in Evening for the most romantic view ! Land at Trocadero metro station and then walk to the structure !
What an engineering marvel!!
Come here almost everyday after college..
Its great to see the tower up close for the 1st time. Its a breathtaking architectural masterpiece. It was a lot better than i had envisioned. The entire are was quite crowded with tourists but it was still a lovely visit
nice view from top and good piece of engineering, other than that all OK, always crowded so most of the time upperdeck is close. Management is OK. and not so great.
Pictures don t do this place justice. It s simply beautiful and elegant. The views from the top are breathtaking. And although this will steal your breath if you aren t fit but take the stairs. The walk up was worth it. And it s a shorter line
Staring directly at one of the most unique man-made structures in the word is really amazing. Some people may call it an ugly structure, crazy, or whatever. But, it is really amazing. Foreigners come to Paris, they will come to this unique, crazy and ugly tower made by Gustave Eiffel in the 1880s.
It is a once in life time experience. Everything about this place is amazing. It is highly tourist friendly. This place would require an entire day of visit to complete visit. Going up to the Tower would require ticket. It is of totally worth. Tower is really sparkling in night so should plan to stay or come in hope-on and hope-off tour to come back at this stop in the night as well.
Should you be even viewing the reviews!!!! If you are going to visit 'la Tour Effel' you should be sure to go onto the 2nd floor and behold the breathtaking view from there.!!!
It has two security gates and after 2 hours in lines announced that top floor is closed without any further info.
No introduction needed for this place. This place is generally crowded. And if you to go up the tower then better pre book tickets online to avoid long queues. View from top is just amazing. You can climb up by stairs till 1st level( If you have stamina to climb stairs) or you can opt for lift too.
I can say without any doubt that night-time is the perfect time to visit Eiffel tower. The beauty of this tall steel structure at night is beyond anything you have seen. The illumination and sheer beauty was enough to make me understand why Paris is called the most romantic city in the world. Do not miss the illumination show at night . It's a must-see , I would suggest.
A must see attraction in Paris. Pictures do not do it justice.
Huge, huge and huge structure! Standing under it was forcing me to think how it was built years ago. I have been to Burj khalifa, Sears tower, CN towers, Empire state building and twin towers Malaysia but I got the best feeling of happiness to be at Eiffel tower. May be a childhood dream.
From the top of Eiffel Tower. Don t need to buy costly tickets beforehand. Usually you can get it cheap on the day. Lines for summit are crazy. You spend nearly 2-3hours to reach the top and then within 15min you are back. Worth visiting though
View from the top is beautiful but make sure you take some time to walk around the area as well. Its very beautiful albeit crowded during the peak tourist seasons.
It was as breathtaking as I imagined it to be. A lot of vendors around selling miniature Eiffel Towers and key chains. The Seine river is just at the corner, and easy to buy tickets for a ride through the Canal.Paris was painfully cold. Dress tip, bring a windbreaker or a really thick winter jacket.
This cant be true, but it really happen, thanks to my university for the support
Very nice experience. Loved the view from that height and it s a must see during the night. The glittering lights come once a hour ( I didn t like that much but it s worth a try)
Awesome, speechless!
Now i can tell why people are head over heels for this place. Awestruck architecture, by famous Gustave Eiffel.
Ticket till 2nd floor 10 eur with stair and 14 eur with escalator
19 till top with stairs and escalstor, 25 till top with escalator. But it is an awesome feeling when u r at the top. One must experience that
Beautiful monument to look at from a distance. Rusty when looked from close, which is understandable coz it's an iron structure. More beautiful at night. Prefer a night visit
A very wonderful sight, especially at night, with it all lit. The Eiffel Tower is one of, if not the most iconic figure of Paris, frequently visited by millions of tourists.
There is the adjacent garden and grounds, and visitors can take the lift up, for various ticket costs.
Having visited the same in Colmar, Strasbourg, where the iconic craftsman who built the tower came from, it was additionally, a wonderful opportunity to see the final masterpiece in Paris again. Colmar, on itself, is described as the third best destinstion in Europe to visit in 2018.
The Eiffel is worth a visit. It is a beautiful work of art and a landmark of France.
Given that it was built 120 years ago it is remarkable. Other than that. Its a tower made of steel with no sense of art on it. Looks like an enormous antenna. Also, the area around it is a mess. Construction works, mud, thieves, queues...
It is one of the most famous places in the world and is very good. The views are incredible! Long queues and an expensive price though.
(I can't remember when I visited lol)
The place doesn't need an introduction, beautiful experience and weather. The nightlife is amazing.
Magnificent . magnific. Captivating. And tonight i came with contact lens to enjoy it in HD quality vision. Loved the protection that it has now
An iconic landmark. A nice place to hangout and to enjoy the Parisian ambiance.
Amazing view over Paris. The French really know how to build interesting attractions :)
Excellent for spotting bohemian youngsters from all over the world , served by unlicensed Algerians floging them booze and cigarettes
I visit the Eiffel Tower every time I m in Paris.
It can get very busy. Security can be really crazy so plan for this. Pre book everything if you are planning to go to the restaurant or to the top.
Enjoy the light show from afar, every hour on the hour at night... until around midnight.
Fantastic place and amazing view from the last floor
If you've never experienced it before then it's worth visiting, it's an amazing construction, has quite a story to the build and so much interesting history. If you're visiting by car try some of the local hotels for parking, they are not all monitored and can be closer and cheaper than some car parks. On the down side however are the queues, you now have to wait in line outside to get through security just to get under he tower, then once past that you have to queue again for either the lift or stair entry and again pass through security bag searches and airport style scanners. While I understand this is for everyone's safety and it's unfortunately the sign of the times we live in, it will add hours to your visit. Not even high season and it was nearly 3hrs to get just on to the tower, with a small child it was a struggle.
Amazing way to see Paris. The city of lights has a glow to it at night from the top. Gustaf Eiffel gave the world a gift that we should all appreciate and see.
Magnificent. More beautiful when lights up and best at the time when it starts to glitter in the evening for 10-15 minutes. If you are visiting, definitely go till the top. The ticket is till costly but worth it. The view from the top is amazing
what else can be more exciting and accomplishing.
u get the panoramic view of the wonderful paris from this iconic edifice. its such a breath taking moment and accomplishing moment as well. u can see the wonder of this world which u had seen in pictures and movies. its one of the sure shot places u should be
You can t go to Paris without at least seeing the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend going at night so you can see the lights. Every hour they light up the tower with what looks like a thousand sparkles that make it look extremely magical. You can also see it from across the river but beware of pickpockets.
I like this place ...it is one of the best place in the world..well desings place and well maintained panchual ..good environment@@
This is one of most tremendous sights of the city, but the tickets are quite expensive and the panorama that you get from the top is not that special as you can find a similar one from other places. Moreover, at the bottom there are lot of people trying to sell you souvenirs. This was annoying and made me feel a bit unsafe, so I could not enjoy the tower.
Although touristy, the Eiffel tower provides STUNNING views of Paris. Be sure to arrive early 9-10am to avoid the long lines, and make sure to buy tickets on the official website or on-site to avoid being ripped off. Tickets are all under 15 .
This tower is one of the best ones I've visited! I would definitely recommend it to any visitors of Paris.
(I have to write a large number of reviews today, so apologies for the fairly generic review.)
Second time visiting and view is amazing. Undergoing major renovation during our visit and one lift broke, leaving only one lift working so quite a delay on pre-purchased tickets and ones on the day. Journey up was quick and efficient and food ( 14 for a drink and hot item), toilets and shops were spread across the 3 floors. Only issue was the lift breaking and being in a queue for this for over 20 additionally mins (as well as the normal time) as no tickets were sold at all in this time, but only being told after another customer went off to investigate rather than staff informing us.
The view of the tower is amazing. I did enjoy both the night view and during the day. There are light show on the tower at 9pm almost every day. The first night I was it the 130th year of the tower so light show was a bit more. I did get on to the top of there tower. Try to get ur tickets at least few weeks ago for ur choice of time . The view from the top is magnificent. Once u r there u can stay as long as u want.
Everyone knows this is the spot to go when in Paris. Right now the lawns are blocked off so you only have a choice of beautiful benches to to sit and observe the wonder that is la tour eiffel. Love this magical spot. I hope you go and enjoy!
Didn't go up the tower today as I have done this before. I just wanted to walk around the tower and appreciate this marvel. Most of it is now fenced off and it looks more like a construction zone than a national monument. The whole area is now cordoned off with security checkpoints as well. It has a completely different look and feel than when I was here a couple of years ago.
Fantastic structure, made initially for exhibition, and later was supposed to be dismantled.
I absolutely love this place and the views are just simply out of this world. It s absolutely freezing during winter time soo wrap up! The city looks beautiful and lit up at night time.
We had a lovely family day out in Paris, including taking lift to the top floor of the Eiffel Tower. Amazing views over the city for 59 for a family of 4. Unexpectedly there were no queues when we went at 11am which was one of the reasons we decided to go up. Perhaps this is due to the lack of travellers due to COVID & the UK quarantine situation. There were no covid measures being adhered to except for mask wearing so something to bear in mind if you are particularly concerned about the current situation. That said, masks appear to be the only measure adhered to in France generally in my opinion. It didn t concern me and we had a great time.
It's a nice place, but you cannot enter the premises at this moment due to the construction on the Eiffel.
Don't worry, you can still lookin around the premises and take a picture (or pictures ).. if you wanna buy souvenir for your family back home..they're scattered over this place.
To bad didn't read up on it first would have liked to had a meal or champagne up top but all booked out. We still got to climb it but you can buy tickets after you go through security which we didn't know the first time so we stepped out of line. But lots of steps but amazing views when you get up there.
It's nice is just going up there's lots of queue of tourist just like you.
Must see place in Paris! Do not get scared by its height and take the stairs, its not so hard to climb and you will see the hidden structure of the tower
The place is cramped with tourists to witness this legendary landmark. Be prepared to be overloaded with local hawkers trying to sell Eiffel tower's replica of different sizes. Definitely recommend to go till the top, although it's pricey at around 25 per person, but worth the view. Really loved the view from top and also from far along with the boat ride near the tower that takes you around the city for a 1 hour long cruise with on-board bar and a small food menu.
Great site. Did the a little research and booked the sunset/night time. First main landing wasn't bad. But the summit was packed. Lifts were kinda a cluster mess. But that's what happens when you have a million tourist all acting a fool.
Majestic! View from the top is incredible. The queue to get the tickets could long for 1.5 hours but that's worth.
Arguably the most famous landmark in France, this iconic landmark is a must-go if you are visiting France as a tourist. The tower provides spectacular views of the city below, and you can see for miles as there are very little skyscrapers in Paris. It costs 26 Euros to get to the top, or 16 Euros to go to the second floor. The view from up there is definitely worth it. History: The Eiffel Tower was meant to be a temporary construction, built for the 1889 World Trade Fair but it wasn t dismantled.
Wow
In reality is even more beautiful then on TV or Instagram. I personally walked around this place all my 6 days of vacation and starred at this structure for hours.
1 huge bad thing:
Hours and hours of waiting to get to the top.
It took me about 2 hours to reach the top
It is always amazing to visit the Eiffel Tower! Wonderful view of the city of Paris, with the incredible feeling of being in one of the most famous tourist spots in the world.
This place looks amazing and by the way in the roubilax city boulevard street.Which building is the company of Ankama animation?
Great Landmark, can be seen at night with lights, sparkles after 9pm, looks like a lighthouse from a distance. Wire fence on one side makes it hard to take photos
The most popular tourist place in Paris has stretched to the Parisian skies for 127 years. Although now symbolic of France, it wasn t meant to last. Without a doubt, the turning point in the Eiffel Tower history took place at the 1889 Universal Exposition. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution, a competition was organized with the aim to build on the Champ-de-Mars an iron tower with a square base, 125 meters wide and 300 meters high. Out of the 107 proposals submitted, Gustave Eiffel s was chosen. By his side were engineers Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier as well as architect Stephen Sauvestre.
Nice tower and nice place but i think they have to open some restaurants and shop near it .. i hope that
Amazing place. Tou have to go to the top to see the whole city.
Pretty cool. Under repair while I was here but amazing none the less
Always great to be here even though we didn't went up. I don't like the wall around it, but it will surely protect it against terror.
Nice place.. But very crowded.. And vary bad organization
Who say Eiffel tower is not big is because the person never been on the tower. That gigantic piece of metal makes you stare and stare and makes you feel so small!! We did went to the top. We opted by taking 2 steps of stairs and the rest in the elevator for 2 things: first, the line for the elevator had a 1h30 waiting. Second, by going by the stairs, you have a different notion of how big the tower really is. And of course, it's cheaper . You can come down all the way by elevator. It's only 700 steps, go on!
We did see the tower at night as well. Every full hour, for the first 5 min, the tower blinks. It's a must to see
Good to go early as there are always long lines. Once you get to the top the view is amazing and everything below you is alot smaller. Was worth the wait.
A very beautiful tower named after Gustave Eiffel (architect).. It is 300m tall 3 floored tower... A five minute light show organised which is most beautiful time to visit... An absolutely brilliant place to visit with loved ones or family... Or i can say visit with your better half because there are wives of love in the atmosphere of Paris.. Incredible views to capture photographs and moments... Visiting on a rainy day or evening time is more wonderful experience.. And and and i can proudly say this is the best tower structure in the world...
Amazing views of Paris, so exciting given it is more than 130 years old! Tallest structure at the time for 41 years in a row, before empire state building in New York!
Symbol of Love, peace, romance, affection, beauty, feelings, memories, history and so on
All those words come in mind with this beautiful iconic structure
It is a beautiful achievement of human engineering and a timeless icon. That being said it is visible so many places enjoy just catching glimpses of it.
Go to the top, like all the way to the top. Awesome experience. A dream come true seeing this absolutely beautiful piece of history and being able to visit the top.
Would give it five start but it is way too crowded. Views from the top are amazing when you get your chance to look. Try the second level it is easier to get around.
Have visited Eiffel 3 times so far. As an experience, its good but organising is bad.
Swipe Machines didnt work during payment. So I had to spend 1 hour to get cash. Carry cash always. Queue for elevators is long. Be prepared.
