It is currently closed due to renovation works and lockdown, but still very nice to walk around
Historical, renovated. Due to corona access to first, second and top floor is through the lift. But one can exit the by walking down from second floor. Wow it was a breathe taking experience
Without comment... Extraordinary.. A must seen in Paris..
Just beautiful, but the security things around, don't know if really necessary. But ok...
Paris is the Eiffel Tower. If you go all the way the top or just from ground its amazing. At night she lights up and gives you a show with lights. A place to share with your love one.
It was a great experience.views are great visit all sides of the tower you will find good locations.follow the bridge lot more
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
The Design of the Eiffel Tower
The plan to build a tower 300 metres high was conceived as part of preparations for the World's Fair of 1889.
The wager was to "study the possibility of erecting an iron tower on the Champ-de-Mars with a square base, 125 metres across and 300 metres tall". Selected from among 107 projects, it was that of Gustave Eiffel, an entrepreneur, Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier, both engineers, and Stephen Sauvestre, an architect, that was accepted.
Emile Nouguier and Maurice Koechlin, the two chief engineers in Eiffel's company, had the idea for a very tall tower in June 1884. It was to be designed like a large pylon with four columns of lattice work girders, separated at the base and coming together at the top, and joined to each other by more metal girders at regular intervals.
The tower project was a bold extension of this principle up to a height of 300 metres - equivalent to the symbolic figure of 1000 feet. On September 18 1884 Eiffel registered a patent "for a new configuration allowing the construction of metal supports and pylons capable of exceeding a height of 300 metres".
In order to make the project more acceptable to public opinion, Nouguier and Koechlin commissioned the architect Stephen Sauvestre to work on the project's appearance.
I have never been, but I have to go here , Books, televisions, have heard and read a lot about it
It's definitely hard to find new words to describe one of the most iconic places on Earth. But it deserves the title: the modern lines, the majestic gardens, the palaces surrounding it and of course the beautiful views of Paris.
At any time of the day you can enjoy different aspects of it by the changes of the sunlight. Tip: go in mid-afternoon, visit all you can and then lay down in the grass to wait for the Eiffel tower to be lit up. A delightful experience.
Seeing it from different part of Paris at different times is just so enjoyable!
I did not see ladybug or chat noir. No other words necessary.
It's a beautiful site to visit. During the day one of the best places to take photos is on the other side of the bridge so you can get the full Eiffel tower in the distance. You should be sure to watch out for pick pockets and politely decline agressive vendors near the base. At night the tower does a light show for 5 minutes every hour on the hour. You can also go up to various levels on the tower to get views of the city. You have to pay for tickets, and the elevator line costs more and can take hours to get through line so if you're on a budget or in a hurry I would suggest braving the stairs.
Yahan pe hamare family ke sath visit karne jaenge
Very beautiful place....
So beautiful
My favourite place ...
Wait till the little light show comes on.. get some crepes and baguette from the stand near by. Def a place to just sit and relax
Spectacular!! If you can, book in to the Jules Verne restaurant. Simply stunning. Views are better at the second floor rather than the top.
Got engaged here to my fiance. Absolutely beautiful views of Paris from up at the top.
Fantastic place. Absolutely amazing and beautiful view. It is a a huge building. It is free to go under the tower and walk around. You need to pay to go up to the first or the 2nd level. There is different options, you can walk on the stairs, or go with lift. I would suggest to go to the top of the tower. It's more expensive but it really worth it, especially when it's dark. You can see the hole city. Even the tower is amazing in the dark. Be prepared to stay long queue.
An experience of a lifetime!!! We loved every minute of it ... We only wished it wasn't raining to have eaten at the restaurant on the 2nd level ...
The iconic Eiffel Tower ! So beaitiful, so charming, its the center of all touristic coties in Europe, even worldwide. I enjoy sitting next to the chairs near this tower
It was as you would imagine beautiful and breath taking at first but the novelty quickly wears of after awhile however it was an amazing picnic destination
Bronze during the day turns Gold at night. Watch Eiffel tower comes to life! Such a pretty amazing sight.Very romantic.
Bonus! There's a place to kiss on top of the tower which we took advantage of.
Great views from top and bottom. Just avoid the vendors all over. Don't speak to them, don't make eye contact, just keep walking and you'll be fine. I went at night because I didn't book enough in advance. I would recommend buying your tickets online a few weeks before you visit. You should choose a timeslot close to sunset.
If you are not athletic, take lifts till the 2nd floor. It gets terribly cold and windy at the top. So wear warm and waterproof clothes. Do not underestimate the weather. Pretty much always crowed. Carry food and drinks along since the stuff sold there tend to be expensive. Reserve if you want to save time. Summit closes incase of harsh weather conditions. Beware of pickpockets.
Always. A. Wonder. Mon Amour. I guess Paris wouldn't be Paris if you take away Eiffel. It is such a sight wherever you are in Paris. Visited Paris a few times but this structure always gets me, specially when the clock ticks at 23:00 and its lights starts to twinkle.
Absolutely love this place. Its my childhood dream to come and live in Paris, the City of Love.
We went to the 2nd floor and with the Paris Pass we scheduled in advance and didn't have to wait in line. The elevator took about 2 minutes to get to the top. You can look out the windows at the city view as you go up. It was spacious and breezy on the 2nd level.
The tower is 324 metres tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. Lovely tower i've met here first time my wife on 1990))
The Eiffel Tower gets very busy, and there are lots of 'undesirables' hanging around the base of it so be careful with your belongings etc. It is best to buy tickets in advance to beat the queues. There are great views to be had from the top but it is not good for those with vertigo.
The big tour Eiffel. Is it how I expected? No! I was a bit scared to be honest when I saw how big it is. It is like you read about something the whole of your life and when you get there you don't have words to describe it, you are filled with emotion. We wanted to take the lift but we ended up at the stairs cue. It was a nice walk up to the top and then admiring the city of Paris. Wow! What a view. It is nice how you can see little tour Eiffel becoming closer and closer to you. In the end you realise you are near a very important monument.
Visited a relative in France a few months ago and went to visit the Eiffel tower on a saturday night and loved it. The atmosphere was electric.
You think it's just an exaggerated structure until you get close to it. But you will be overwhelmed by the size and beauty of this wrought iron tower! It's not just that. The feel of the surrounding area with the Sienne and cafes is wonderful. Thats when it would really hit you that you are in Paris !!
I went from germany to paris just to see the eiffel tower, not only the eiffel tower but the whole city, very nice monument
This place was beautiful from a distance & the view at the top was amazing! My friend & I are both afraid of heights but we still went all the way to the top! It s definitely a must see!
Sharing the view fro. The Eiffel tower with the one you love is the ultimate experience.
i threw my 42' samsung round sound bluetooth smart tv off of it and not is less that 2'
Fantastic landmark. Not much to tell about. It's the Eiffel tower.
how to say without a doubt the Eiffel tower is one of the best things that you can go and view but I would not recommend that you pay to go up the Eiffel tower in the lift or elevator simply because it's overpriced and you'll be waiting in a line for at least 4 hours if you are not with a medical condition I would say walk up the stairs you're appreciate it a lot more it's a lot of stairs but once you get to the top ok I'm not going to lie you'll be covered in sweat but it is one of the places that I will never regret visiting it's just make sure you don't go on peak times because it's absolutely crazy to get up and absolutely crazy to get down
never been there. probs really smelly. dont like bred :(
Wonder place to visit. Will get the answer why it have been added to one of the wonders of the world.
Honestly we'll worth any wait time, if you go at night it is truely breath taking.
A MUST-VISIT SPOT!
The Eiffel Tower is a worldwide known destination, and with reason! It is breathtaking just looking up at the iconic monument, but admiring the view from the observation point on its third level is unforgettable. If you visit during the night, you can enjoy the amazing lights display.
Enjoying a romantic dinner at the restaurant is the dream of any couple.
One of the most popular iconic place in the world and also great tourist destination.
Absolutely fantastic. Deserve every penny spent on. Tip: buy a ticket scheduled one hour prior the sunset then you will have an amazing view. The champagne glass is so expensive and won't increment that much in your experience.
Amazing structure, Not sure why it called romantic place, just a skeleton of puddling iron, once you up on the tower, you can see whole Paris except Eiffel Tower, weather is pretty cold, so make sure take jackets and stuff, definitely worth to visit at night.
Over rated yet a must go place to take good photos
In comparison to other places as palace de Versailles or L'ouvre or even Brussels gardens it's the least.
Yet a must go to take "I am in France" proof
Not all pictures of tour Eiffel is accurate as it's always crowded
If you really want to enjoy it then you have to sit in the gardens at the back of the tour !
So I'll rate it 8/10 due to the scene you see while sleeping on your back in green clean garden watching the big tour and breathing nice smell air
iconic place, what else is there to say? a must visit
2h queue...bit too much even for the Eiffel Tower. The view is nice of course. Very turistic champagne bar, nice idea and I would not mind to pay even more but for a decent champagne at least, not that low quality ones they are serving.
Blessed to be able to visit this amazing place. A trip to Paris is incomplete without visiting Eiffel Tower.
The views from the top are breathtaking and you would want to to be on the top forever. We have taken stairs during day and by the time we reached the top it was night and whole of Paris was glittering with lights.
Do I need to write a review on probably the most famous monument ever?
One sight that no one misses when they visit tower, must go to the top to enjoy the view and then see it again in the evening all lit up
What to say! It's beautiful! Check out the pictures I uploaded!
All the things work according to the expectations but the area is soo expensive and be aware from pickpocketers.
The moment when I felt in love of Paris, was when I Saw her.
It is most beautiful place in the world from my view....so many people came here for mind fresh. so guys please visit this place if you have a Hollyday...

I did live in Paris for years, but the Eiffel Tower has always meant a lot to me. Not only the best view in Paris but also something meant to be temporary, yet there for over one century! Joli...n est ce pas?
Its such a wonderfull place and there structures are very inspiring, specially together with your love ones. So memorable
The Eiffel Tower is definitely worth including on your list of tourist attractions while in Paris. Make sure to go to the higher levels the view is breath taking.
The symbol of Paris. Awesome. If you want to go up book your ticket well in advance. Line is very long without a booked ticket
Best place ever !
Food is wonderful.
You get to take pictures.
Food for kids and adults
A have to see when in Paris. However I would recommend that anyone visiting buy their tickets early, the lines can be long. In addition, there is ongoing construction you might want to do some research if you are looking to reach the top of the tower.
Well, how can I say that Paris and its streets are not beautiful and people are unpleasant. Restaurants around and fast food especially, good. Shampoo and milk expensive.. Don't smoke I recommend.
Must visit. Buy tickets in advance and have it you phone, download it to pdf so you can zoom it and the staff can properly scan it. Take the time to enjoy the view in all possible angles. Restrooms and coffeeshop is available in the tower.
Personally I think that due to the time that takes making good pictures from outside of the tower, then ascending in the elevator to the 2 leves available, and finally get to the top it may take you at least minimum 3 hours at least. Don't rush it worth the visit and your time.
Great experience..one of the wonders in earth. I went around 7.00 pm on top. Got to see both daylight view and night view. It was wonderful experience
One of the most beautiful things that I've ever seen in my life. This is so majestic and also very perfect for chilling and just tking photos. There are a lot of snatchers though so you have to be precautious.
One of my best experince travel in life time. It was our cruise ship port in le havre. About 6 hours way to paris. Tired but amazing moment all the long. Thank you paris, you are so wonderfull. But am not as youtuber yet on that time. No videos, sorry. Hope one day I get chance to visit as youtuber.
Very good Tourist point. One should buy skip the line ticket else lots of waiting. One should surely visit the Tower exactly at 8 pm or 9 pm as It gets lightened for 5 mins. In day, view from 2nd level is Awesome.
Beautiful piece of history. If you can, book a tour so you can learn more of the history of the Eiffel Tower.
I would recommend spending the extra to go up to the top floor. Some fantastic views (even on a rainy day!) You don't understand the scale of the structure until you've seen it....also it's 300 steps to the first floor, maybe not suitable for everyone, there Is a lift (which costs a little more!) Well organised, and you need to go through security before getting in. 100% recommend a visit! :)
My favourite cliched Paris experience! There is no time restriction on your stay up in Eiffel platforms. There are clean bathrooms and many snacking options. I recommend going up the tower at around 4pm, watching the city in sunlight and also watching it slowing turn into a view of thousands of glittering lights by around 7:30pm. There are many seating provisions everywhere in both platforms. Stay there for 3hrs and watch each shade of colour that the city can offer.
bonjour guys i just got off my plane to paris im so happy to be here like literally omg wi wi welcome to perri
Spent 5pm on my birthday at the champagne bar at Tower peak and the view was absolutely stunning. Expensive yet ordinary champagne wine and I had to insist twice that the bartender fill my minute glass, a ripoff but like Singapore Slings at Raffles, a unique experience.
The iconic Eiffel Tower is very impressive, but in Summer you must be prepared to wait on long lines to get to the viewing levels or the top. There is also a security line (similar to the airport) to get inside the barrier that now More
Went to the top of second floor. Amazing views of all around of Paris. It was not so busy as it was little cooler toward the evening. I do recommend take a lift up and walk down the stairs to the bottom. Enjoy your time in Paris!!
I really wasn't too excited to see the tower before coming to Paris. It's just a tower I've seen depicted on everything from notebooks to pillows. Yet as soon as I first caught glimpse of it glimmering from far away, I was mesmerized. I really can't describe why it is so captivating. Is it the intricate details that you only notice when you see it up close? Is it the symbolism? The way it catches your eye when it peaks out unexpectedly behind Parisian buildings? That it's so much more grand than expected? There is something indescribably, aesthetically pleasing about it. So what if everyone has already seen it and it's cliche. You really do need to experience it for yourself.
Keep in mind that if it's raining, the grounds around the tower will be a little muddy. And of course there will be plenty of vendors trying to sell you Eiffel tower keychains and etc. Enjoy it up close, but I would recommend heading across the bridge to the Palais de Chaillot for better pictures and views of the entire tower. Feel like you're dreaming as you watch it glimmer and sparkle across the river.
I went there pre-covid! And from what I heard it would have long lines to go up but I went around 9-10am and could walk straight to the window by one of the pillar of the tower and took stairs until 2nd floor and then by elevator. It s worth the experience.
Absolutely amazing! It was pretty cheap to take the stairs up to the 2nd floor and then the elevator to the last. At the top is a delicious macaroon stand :) Also, try to get there before noon. We arrived around 11 but the 3rd floor was too full to buy tickets. We decided to go get a picnic instead and come back afterwards, and it was crazy to see how many more people were there.
I spent the new year's eve at the Eiffel Tower. The lighting at night was spectacular. I didn't feel like leaving the place. I would like to make it a tradition to spend my new years eve at the Eiffel Tower
Lovely short tour, always book through a tour guide for skip-the-line-tickets as the waiting time in the queues can go up to 3 hours
Great views of Paris from the tower. The views from the tower at night are the best. Get there early as the lines for tickets and the elevators can be quite long. I believe the tower closes at midnight so the lines for tickets close down around 11 p.m. .
Brilliant tour guide Sam from Headout was wonderfully funny and knowledgeable.
A fascinating marvel of engineering and architecture. A cultural phenomenon that has been resisting the time and growing in popularity. An amazing art peace that dominates the entire city, perfectly situated amongst the best examples of grandeur of old European architecture and culture.
World wonder no words to say. In night lights it's soo awesome
Great architecture, be careful of scam street vendors and pickpockets
You can see the Eiffel tower from where I'm staying its 7.5 km away so with that in mind I walked shopped and ate my way there. In these temperatures its best to take plenty of water, catch the beautiful Louvre on your way and a walk down the tree lined shady boulevards towards the tower. It grows and grows as you approach lots of picture opportunities on your way following the the river Seine and all of a sudden there you are.
It's as beautiful as they claim it to be..and more!! Go to the top and see the bird's eye view of Paris!
Must visit. A great place to come in the evening, sit back and relax and watch the beauty of this Tower. Even if it is full of tourists, you can still find some peace and quiet to absorb the beauty of this place. This makes you remember you're really in Paris, every tourist's dream.
Might not be the tallest anymore, but it's still the coolest. Iconic!
The Eiffel tower history represents a part of national heritage. It's as been the symbol of France and Paris for decades.Every year approximately 7 million visitors climb the Tower.
The project drawing began in June 1884.
Fantastic !!! Can't be easily described....A metallic peace of art which was built from more than 100 years
Visiting the Eiffel Tower is not the wonderful experience that people have used written about for many years. Sadly the closure of the park where the Eiffel Tower is located means that it is impossible to walk through the gardens or sit and picnic. It is no longer possible to take a photo under the tower or spend time enjoying the area. There are hustlers selling cheap souvenirs and long queues going into access the Eiffel Tower. It is so sad to see such a world renowned structure reduced to this cheesy tourist experience.
5 hours around the magnificent structure and trying to capture every look of it possible. You just don't wanna stop looking at this master piece of architecture.
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015. The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris.
The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level's upper platform is 276 m (906 ft) above the ground the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union. Tickets can be purchased to ascend by stairs or lift to the first and second levels. The climb from ground level to the first level is over 300 steps, as is the climb from the first level to the second. Although there is a staircase to the top level, it is usually accessible only by lift..
The grouds of this well-known landmark is completely ruins what might otherwise be a beautiful walk. You cannot walk beneath it and its environs are populated by those who would just assume fleece you as let you walk in peace.
