We love going to Paris and seeing this beauty. It doesn't feel like we've had a complete year without visiting. The cafe was a pretty good, quick snack while taking the adventure to the top. Don't worry about nerves, you can buy an alcohol drink at the top to calm you The view from the top is a must see. The wait line to buy tickets for elevators to the top can be long so bring snacks and patience.

Got there early and enjoyed a fairly short security line through the east side, and to the staircase ticket window (once it opened). The stair climb was worth the extra price; the stairs are not see-through, unfortunately, though you can look over the edge to an extent. There are translucent glass floors on the 1st floor near the center of the tower. There are a couple restaurants and gift shops. The 2nd floor was surpisingly windy and cold, while the 3rd floor was much less so. All-in-all, we had a wonderful time!

A wonderful place to visit, such an incredible building and history. The scale of the place, given when it was built, is amazing.

The massive number of visitors could be off-putting for some, but I found it added to the atmosphere.

Our tour guide Christina deserves a huge thanks for her wonderful explanations and friendliness.

One of my best experiences I had on this beautiful Monument. Make sure if you want to go until the top you have to wait quite long especially in the summertime there is a first security check before entering in the area under the tower after you successfully entered there is the ticket sale store where you can buy separate ticket until the second floor by stairs or you can use elevator and separate ticket from second floor to the top so make sure you'll need at least 45 minutes to get to ticket store.

Such a cool experience! We walked the steps to the second level, it was not nearly as hard as we thought it was going to be. The view from the top was incredible. Next time, I'm going to try to go at night. Make sure you get there early, and get in the correct line, so you don't have to wait as long.

The iconic tower in the world which is perhaps the most visited spot in Paris looking over Champs-Elysees ( most famous street in paris ). They say you need to climb 1665 steps to reach the top .
The Tower has three floors with restaurants on the first & second floor with the observation desk on the third.
Frankly its a tower during the day which doesn't impress but as night falls it lights up beautifully & every hour it shimmers for a few seconds which is worth watching. You can pay & go up , sit at the restaurant for wine & dine if your really into it otherwise most just stroll around & spend more time on Champs Elysees.
if you plan to go up , go in the morning so you can get a panoramic view of the city & have lunch on the first or second floor , if you wish you view from the outside go in the evening when its sparkling & you can take a walk on Champs Elysees which is beautifully lit, has many cozy restaurants where you can dine with your loved ones.

Great experience! No reviews needed!
Traveling tip:
Buy tickets online to avoid ticket lines. However the third floor/top of the tower get sold off online quickly, you can however buy them at the ticket counter. The ticket counter sells tickets only for current day and not in advance

It was beautiful, and the reduced rates for a particular age group was definitely worth it. The view from the top of the tower is mind blowing!

If you're in Paris, and you feel that it's a lot of money, I'd say, you should still go for it! The view is so amazing, you'll definitely find it worth going to Paris.

What else needs to say about this magnificent beauty "Eiffel Tower". Pictures says it all. One has to definitely visit to feel the magic. At 324m height, it gives you goosebumps when you reach the summit by lift. If you want to save some time buy tickets online and be there on time. Experience for life I would say. It's all about admiring the beauty of the tower.

Great spot, it's 25 euros to fully enter the middle ground of the Eiffel tower; the line up might be very long depending on what time you go!
You're able to get half decent photos just from stand on the sidelines

Constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair, it was initially criticised by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world.[3] The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015.

The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris. Its base is square, measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to become the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years until the Chrysler Building in New York City was finished in 1930. It was the first structure to reach a height of 300 metres. Due to the addition of a broadcasting aerial at the top of the tower in 1957, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building by 5.2 metres (17 ft). Excluding transmitters, the Eiffel Tower is the second tallest free-standing structure in France after the Millau Viaduct.

The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level's upper platform is 276 m (906 ft) above the ground the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union. Tickets can be purchased to ascend by stairs or lift to the first and second levels. The climb from ground level to the first level is over 300 steps, as is the climb from the first level to the second. Although there is a staircase to the top level, it is usually accessible only by lift.

There is reason that Eiffel Tower is considered the sign of France. This magnificent architecture is one the most visited places on earth and without taking the elevator to its top you can not appreciate its real beauty. It will cost you 20 euros to take the elevator to the top and there is always a long queue in front of it but it definitely worths the while. Apart from the breathtaking views of the Paris, up there you will see the model of Gustave Eiffel' office with wax statues of himself sitting with Thomas Edison and Eiffel's daughter standing behind them. There are no words to describe the magnificence of this monument.

As stunning as I expected. Went here during the day and during the night and both times provided a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Would recommend taking photos of it while you are sort of far away because once you get too close, the pictures just don't turn out too good. Make sure to go early if you want pictures without a lot of people in the background. At night with the lights sparkling by the hour and the light beam spinning, it's a marvelous view!

I love la tour Eiffel however It's currently being renovated so it makes the experience not as enjoyable. So many tourists which is perfectly normal. I remember the times I used to go there with my grandmother and you could see all of Paris without covering on the top floor so it has created a safety barrier but in doing so lost ambience of the past.

A must see in Paris! But be careful - people will attempt to have you sign petitions, pick pocket you, and try to sell you things. Any trick in the book is known by schemers in this area of Paris.

A must-see and do in Paris. Since it is THE icon of Paris, every tourist will be there to see it with you. Buy your ticket on line in advance to avoid the super long ticket buying line. In the fall and winter, you could be waiting in the rain. You can walk up or ride the elevator or do some of each. Also, know that there is little or no view from the top if the weather is foggy and/or raining. There are beautiful gardens around the tower with a small lake that has coy and ducks that you can walk around.

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution. Its construction in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days was a veritable technical and architectural achievement. "Utopia achieved", a symbol of technological prowess, at the end of the 19th Century it was a demonstration of French engineering, and a defining moment of the industrial era. As France's symbol in the world, and the showcase of Paris, today it welcomes almost 7 million visitors a year, making it the most visited monument that you have to pay for in the world.

Access is limited to this impressive site. Glass walls surround the tower requiring tickets for admittance. Lines are very long. A lot of armored and armed security. This does keep the souvenir peddlers out but requires a lot of time and waiting in line. View is impressive from the top. It is worth a least one visit in your lifetime.

Eiffel tower is so iconic, but the real beauty of Paris is the old architecture. I still love sitting on the lawn and watching the lights turn on. If you can find a place that is not bombbarded with so many people selling stuff so you could enjoy it, then it would be better, but this place is just swarming with people bugging you like crazy to buy their wares.

The experience of going to the eiffel tower was really amazing. We visited it mid April in 2018. It was under renovation. Nevertheless it did not hinder the tourist from visiting this lovely monument.
The ticket counter is well organized and staff are quite helpful. The security check is all quite detailed yet quick.
The lifts that take you up the tower are well functional and quick. But was wandering if there could be a bigger one. Binoculars are placed at different locations in the tower which are paid. I think this could be free for public use.
Lastly the toilet are clean and well maintained.
The best view of the tower is at night.. The sparkling towel...

I personally think Climbing up the Eiffle tower is highly over rated and expensive.. Also have to spend hours in queue..
One best thing to admire in Paris is the Eiffle Tower.. What's the point if you cannot see the towerfrom the top?

Rather I'd suggest visiting some roof top restaurant or other places, which gives you a view of Paris with the Eiffle tower.. I was lucky enough to stay with a friend who had direct view of the tower and it looked absolutely stunning with the lights too..

Very crowded (and dirty) in and around the Tower area. No or very few toilets, so people use the parks. Crowds of migrants trying to push fake memorabilia onto tourists just outside the tower area. No sense of beautiful, romantic Paris we were hoping for. Awesome views from above, though.

Beautiful, magnifique! Always wanted to see it, and now have. Even went up it. If you don't like heights it's best to avoid going up, you end up standing right beside the lift and you can feel the tower sway gently in the wind... Can still feel it now...

We loved our visit to the Eifel Tower. We came downtown on a Sunday, which worked out great because there's no charge for street parking on Sundays in Paris. The yellow jacket riots were mostly over, so security was slightly elevated, but we feel comfortable and safe.

The lines to climb the stairs or get on the elevator were all long, so that took just over two hours. After that, we took the stairs up to the second level. Wow, don't do this unless you're in really decent shape. I had to carry my 4yo a good part of the climb, and I thought my wife might pass out.

We opted to take the elevator all the way up from there, and it was worth it for the view. The line from the 2nd floor to the top wasn't very long, and the line to get back down to the bottom wasn't bad either.

There are places to eat and shop all over, including champagne at the top, so be prepared. Outside of the grounds, there are guys selling trinkets everywhere, and they're a little aggressive. Not violent or physical, just pushy.
