Scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 11:30am. When my wife arrived she was told the service department was overwhelmed and they would not be able to look at our vehicle. My wife had been in an accident and we needed the tow hook cover and wanted to see if there was any damage under the car that we should have repaired. She was told we could order the part online or to call the dealership on Monday. Talked with the service manager about this and we rescheduled the appointment for the following Wednesday. He said he would talk to the employee that this should not have happened. That he would order the part and that I would be taken back when the vehicle was on the lift to view the underside with the mechanic. Arrived at the dealership and was met by the same employee who turned my wife away and when I told her I was to go back when the car was on the lift she said that wouldn't be necessary since to see any damage they would have had to take the bumper off and they wouldn't be doing that so I wouldn't need to go back. I informed her that the service manager said I could view the underside while the vehicle was on the lift and I expected to do just that. She rolled her eyes and said again that it wouldn't be necessary for me to go back. After about an hour I looked into the service department to see my vehicle being backed out of the service area and into the delivery/drop-off area. After 20 minutes I asked to see the service manager. He came and I explained they did not come get me for me to see underneath and that the vehicle had been sitting in the drop-off area for 20 minutes and no one had come to say anything. He had the vehicle taken back into the service area and walked me out to look. The mechanic showed me one area that was bent slightly but neither he nor the service manager thought it warranted being repaired. When I received my copy of the bill I noticed after I got home they put on the second page that I refused to have it repaired. They told me it wasn't necessary, I did not refuse. Not very happy with the service and a little confused. The question is should it be repaired? Would like someone to respond to that question. J Paino

Brought my vehicle in for service earlier this month. Had a decent experience. My repairs were made in a timely manner. Vehicle is doing just fine. But don t take the time to fill out the customer service survey. If you make any suggestions on what the dealership can improve on, be prepared to get a phone call with someone asking you confronting questions on why you made the suggestion you did. I received a phone call a week after having service to my vehicle. This call was most likely meant for the dealership to find ways they can improve. However, the phone call I received were just questions made in way as if I was accusing them of doing something wrong. Almost as if they were calling and confronting me for making a suggestion. I had no complaints or had no intention of making a complaint about my service. I m just customer who paid their hard earned money for repairs that wanted to make a suggestion, not a complaint.

A family friend referred me to Ed Martin at 99th and Michigan Rd. I walked away in March 2016 with an 05 Buick Rendezvous. I was very happy and excited; I had just bought my first vehicle. But ever since I had driven off the lot I had over heating problems. I bled the radiator hoses thinking it was the problem (multiple times), but it just kept coming back every other week. I filled the coolant every few days since I got the vehicle. That would satisfy the overheating issue, but now I just found out that the vehicle has been too hot the entire time. Now, I have blown head gaskets. I was told by our family friend to give Ed Martin a call and explain the situation, and they did nothing but belittle me. I called yesterday 11/15 and spoke either the General Manager - Chris Quillen. I explained my situation, and he was extremely unhelpful. I felt degraded and he spoke to me as if I were a child. I asked him if there was any way they could possibly help me with this situation and he was mad because I didn't being my vehicle into THEIR repair shop. Well, I'm sorry I cannot afford to pay a dealership (much more expensive), over going to another repair shop. Yes, I should have called them sooner. I figured they wouldn't help because I did not have any warranty on the vehicle. Chris also said that I could have got a warranty when I bought the vehicle, but I was not offered any possible warranty. They only thing I was offered was the tire and wheel warranty, which I did accept. If I were offered a warranty on be vehicle, I would have taken it too. I always get any warranty on any expensive purchase I make, such as a vehicle I needed to last me the next 10 yesrs. Which, now I still owe 3/4ths of what the cost was on it, and also over $2,000 now to repair the vehicle they sold to me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Chris was extremely rude and I REALLY regret my decision. Now, I am out well over $10,000. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!

Our Salesperson had an answer for everything- not necessarily always the right answer though. (Because I asked questions I knew the answers to just to gauge knowledge, sincerity, and honesty. He was quick to come up with random answers and seemed more concerned about making a sale than by ensuring we walked away with the right vehicle for us and the best deal for your dealership (even if that meant leaving without buying a car THAT day).
We were also able to experience your service department though and Amy was great help. Greg was also able to help identify a safety concern with our vehicle that I was otherwise told was normal . I know more about cars than the average consumer and was able to push back. Greg quickly admitted during a test drive something was wrong and in the end I was a happy customer.
While I had to push aggressively and was eventually taken care of. I m not sure that a less informed - less knowledgeable buyer wouldn t have been taken advantage of both by the sales and service department. That is why I left a 6/10. 9/10 personally but for the average consumer likely more of a 5/10

After 12 years we began a search for a new vehicle and spent 2 months going to different dealerships and being disappointed in the service staff and the typical pricing run around.
All that changed when we happened to stop at Ed Martin and met Robert Long Brooks who answered our questions with straight forward directness and was extremely knowledgeable about all the vehicles we were looking for.
After 35+ years of buying cars I must say Rob made this purchase by far the best and easiest transaction ever. There was no haggling of price, no back and forth and long waits while the manager negotiated a price. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
When I went to picked up the new vehicle the whole staff at Ed Martin was very helpful and happy to meet me and start our new relationship.
I highly recommend Ed Martin and specifically Robert Long Brooks for anyone looking for a vehicle.

I called and was transferred to a salesman named Rich and I explained that I was interested in one of their cars in the lot. He answered all our questions and was very pleasant to talk to. We make our way to Carmel, Indiana and the dealership is very nice so I was feeling good about this place. We walk up to the door and was greeted immediately. We tell him that we are looking for Rich and we walk inside to a really nice clean establishment and was treated very well by all staff. Do not buy from Ed Martin. We bought a vehicle from them only to find a multitude of problems with it after signing the paperwork.
When we test drove the vehicle, everything seemed fine except it needed a new radiator and the tires needed balanced. We were persuaded to sign the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and told that we could pick it up the next day. When we drove over two hours to pick up the vehicle the next day, we test drove the vehicle to confirm that the radiator and tire alignment had been completed properly. During the test drive, we noticed a whining noise in 4 wheel drive. We expressed our concerns to the used car manager, who told us they would check it out and deliver the vehicle to us the next day.
Two days later, the driver arrived with the vehicle. The service manager said that they thought the sound was normal, but would pay to have it inspected by the Ford dealership in our town. The driver also mentioned that the tire light came on in the vehicle while driving it to us. He stated that he called the service manager and was told that whatever was wrong with the tire light would be fixed.
After getting the vehicle inspected, we discovered that two of the tires did not have enough air in them, which was causing the all wheel drive whining sound. We were also informed that the tires were over five years old and dry rotted, making them unsafe to drive on.
Our local shop also noted that the alignment was off, which we were told was already done. The oil pan is leaking, as well as the exhaust manifold.
When we contacted the dealership to expressed concern regarding the unsafe tires, they told us that we were wrong and that Tire safety is a matter of opinion. Their demeanor was completely different than when we took possession of the vehicle. They had promised that whatever was wrong with the tires would be corrected, which was obviously an outright lie since they are now refusing to correct the issue.
I feel that the employees at this dealership did everything they could to get us to buy a vehicle from them and as soon as we took possession, they treated us like we were an annoyance.

They conned me out of buying the escape I really wanted by telling me the one that I ended up purchasing was going to be bought for a dealer's wife unless I was interested. Who wouldn't want a vehicle that a dealer himself was buying for his wife? In the first year since purchase I have had to have the transmission replaced, the coolant system has failed (stranding me and my 3 kids on the side of the road out of state on Thanksgiving), the AC leaks like hell, stalling problems, not to mention issues that Ford couldn't even figure out. I've always owned vehicles in the past, but my friend recommended Ed Martin Buick GMC as the place to go and seek out something other than my usual Ford Escapes that I'd always owned and maybe even lease a car instead. It turns out; I'd been going there for years with my Ford to get it fixed when I was in town before I moved here. Carol Mooney has always been a dream to work with scheduling on short notice, and John Richardson has repeatedly worked on my cars doing a fantastic job and fast, no matter how badly I'd beaten them up driving. Well, I can't tell you how happy I am with my newly-leased 2020 GMC Terrain! I met with Dennis McNamara, the best sales and leasing consultant I've had the pleasure to work with, and he went over all of my options with what I wanted and gave me help with what I needed in my new car. Dennis took the time to answer every question I had and let me test drive several cars. He needed to make sure that I was genuinely comfortable with my decision in the end. I was going to buy another car outright, but Dennis spoke with me and understood my needs would be better suited if I leased. So, I did. I ended up with a brand new car, with no issues, and is fully covered the entire duration of my lease. When it came time to close the sale, Todd Lewis, the Finance Manager, walked me through everything very carefully. I brought my wife's Accadia in for an oil change and tire rotation. They gave me a coupon and let me know that it would be $39.99 plus tax. I let them know that her deivers side daytime running light was out and was told that they would let me know what that would look like when the technician had it. I waited for it to get done. My appointment was at 8:30am and I arrived at 8:15. Had a complimentary cup of coffee and watched the news while I waited. 3 hours later I was told that it was $110 to replace the daylight running light that Jiffy Lube charges $14 to change. They explained what the process would consist of and I said no thanks. When I left my bill was $57. Which in my calculation is more than the 39.99 special I was told, when I asked about it I was told that they have to pay for waste disposal and other items. Needless to say when you go here understand everything as the nickel and dime items will get you. They are always friendly and courteous butI always feel like I get screwed over when I go to this dealership anymore. Long story short I got the oil changed, tires rotated and then had to leave to get the light done elsewhere and it was a hassle.

Just took delivery of our new 2019 Yukon XL Denali. Ed Martin was able to match or beat every other local dealer on price with very little effort on my part. Sent them an email and the next day picked up the car. They made sure everything was perfect and took the time to introduce me to the whole team (sales manager, finance, service advisor etc) at the dealership which was a nice touch. Best car buying experience ever! Rick McCoy and Nolan Crum made our car buying experience wonderful. After visiting numerous dealerships in Avon and Plainfield, we ended up going to Ed Martin. There was no haggling, no pressure to purchase a new vehicle. (Unlike numerous other dealerships we had visited.) Rick walked us step by step through all of our concerns. He made us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease. Nolan showed us all of the "ins" and "outs" of our new vehicle, and made us feel comfortable enough to drive our car off the lot.
