Trust worthy, did most of all my work on phone. They had what I wanted, when Anderson GMC sold a car from under me. Lied about or didn't mention, they could have saved my car I picked out, until i got back from vacation. Up to 5 days or more.
So I looked out of Anderson and the car I wanted, and I'm so happy. Oh, even lower pmnt.

Took my car in early, in the morning and no appointment.They were very helpful. I gave them a best guess about the problem. They got it fixed that day. We will be coming back. Now that's what I say is 'Service with a Smile .' Merry Christmas to everyone. If the weather is warm enough you get a free car wash after services.

I would avoid buying used here. In less than 2 months my car's transmission was gone. I didn't get a warranty, assumed I could squeak out a year or so in this car before moving on. Got to love buying a larger car for your twins, then losing all the money you put into it.

Get the warranty, or shop elsewhere. I believe they unloaded a car affordably because they saw issues that were in its near future.

2015 Acadia Denali. Service scheduled for 11:30, vehicle was finally pulled in at 12:24. Service Tech made an absolute mess of the oil change. Oil is everywhere in the engine bay and oil is pooling under the vehicle. The sloppiest work I've ever experienced. This service also included a tire rotation, lug nuts were not torqued, the technician used an impact and drove the lug's down. I watched the Tech the whole time. Car service was completed at 12:46. I'll never go back. They did do this service "Free of Charge", but personally, I'd rather pay for quality, which is why I went to a GMC dealership to begin with. I could've got this level of service at Wal-Mart.

11/9/2018 - I came back to this review to update everyone. So... after i went home and cleaned everything up (they didn't) i checked the oil. The oil was 1 qt low and the tech never changed the oil filter. The last time the oil was changed I wrote the date on the filter. When I was cleaning off the mess Ed Martin made I noticed they never changed the oil filter.

I was in today for a tire change an hour before I had to go to work and was told it would be done in 20-30 minutes. I finally got to leave an hour later. Needless to say I was late to work and not very happy about the misquoted wait estimate. The most bothersome part was looking at my car be done for 10-15 minutes and get moved for another customer to leave because i had to wait for paperwork to print.

We were referred to Ed Martin by my partner s daughter, who purchased a vehicle from them. We had reviewed our budget and decided that we needed to actually start the investigation process to see if we could afford a new vehicle. Both my partner and I liked the Buick Encore so that is where we started. I investigated inventory on-line, so I knew that the vehicle she wanted may be in stock to look at. At this point we only wanted to only test drive and price.
When we arrived at the dealership, we parked and began to review the many selections of Buick Encores on the lot. After a few moments, we were greeted by Salesmen; Dennis McNamara. Dennis was cordial and asked if he could assist. We mention that we were in the investigation stage and had just started to look at vehicles. He inquired on what we may be interested in, and began to show us available vehicles and point out certain features that we may like.
We decided to test drive a vehicle that seemed to meet out criteria. After the test drive, we then went inside to review pricing.
At first we found that the vehicle we selected was out of our price point and budget. We told Dennis that we were sorry, and the vehicle was out of reach for us, as we are both on fixed income. Dennis asked what our budget number was and we discussed.
At first we could not find a vehicle in our range, and was prepared to leave disappointed. Dennis asked if we could wait a few more moments and he would review inventory and discuss with his General Manager.
After a short time, they (Dennis and the GM, Zack), came back and asked if we would consider other vehicle selections they had, and as they did not meet our criteria, we declined. So, they did more searching and found they had a Demo vehicle that meet our needs and could possibly be in our budget range. They asked again for a few moments, and came back with several possible scenarios that may assist us in purchasing.
To our surprise, they did wonderful things with a deal, that in the end, allowed us to lease a new 2018 Buick Encore that not only met my partners needs but far exceeded it..
We are now the happy owners of a shiny new Buick Encore. Everyone we were involved with, from Dennis, Zack and the Owner, the receptionist that cared for us while we were waiting, to the Finance Officer that made the process painless. I cannot say enough about when Dennis said that they wanted to "Earn our business.." to the final paper work.
Great Dealership. I'm impressed, and will brag about the buying experience to everyone that will listen..

This was hands down one of the best car buying experiences we've had. Tyler at Ed Martin Buick GMC was so easy to work with. He knew what he was talking about and worked with us to find the best vehicle for our needs. He was professional and respectful and we would be happy to work with him again in the future. We were prepared to buy a newer car, and decided to come to Ed Martin because of positive feedback we read online. We did not receive the service we expected/deserved. It started out nice, Eric was seemingly helpful and the transaction was smooth. We purchased a Buick Regal and I had asked a few questions about the car's timing chain, and they assured me there were no issues. A few days go by after our purchase, and the Regal begins to make a grinding noise. We immediately called and took it back in and I talked with Carol about a possible timing chain issue. She explained it would throw all kinds of engine codes if it was the timing chain. They gave us a rental for a few days and "fixed" the issue. A few days later we hear it again. I drive it all the way back to Carmel and remain extremely patient with them, and explain to Carol and Brett at this point that we have spent a nice chunk of money on this Buick, and would like for them to look at the timing chain. And this is when my experience turned from bad to worse. I again explained that I thought it was the timing chain. Carol begins to get a little of an attitude with me and explains that they will not just look at the timing chain without codes popping up. She said they would keep the car but they are short on rentals, so they would need the rental back the next day. I explained to them that the proper service of this vehicle should not be based on how quickly they need the rental back. They kept the car for a week, but wanted the rental back within 24 hours so we were down a car for a week. We got the Buick back and they explained there was nothing wrong. We heard it within 30 minutes, and again on a cold start about 4 to 5 hours later. This is not the business I do with my customers and we were expecting an extraordinary experience, and we received unbelievably bad service. I do not wish this kind of headache on anyone, and I hope this review is helpful for those wanting to know a little more about this dealership.

While I was off chasing a possible replacement for our GMC Terrain, I dealt with at least (5) various dealers through out the Mid-West & upper South Central. As we were investigating potential options @ Buick,Chevy, GMC, & Cadillac it became evident, "NOT ALL DEALERS" were equal! As we were losing time, we caught Sam A. on his "day off"......sure thing guys, what do U NEED.. We sent him a GMfamily1st spec by email, he had a vehicle isolated (2) days later...........(2) DAYS!!!! I've messed with this search, since GM 1st offered the $6K purchase option on some vehicles; attempting to find a lease replacement @ "OUR" figures. Sure, Ed Martin & Sam had to do a swap with a Mi dealer, but they pulled it off and saved us a few more $$$$ in the process. Even though 'WE" hadn't traded with Sam & Ed Martin before, "That's what customer Service is all about"!

I ve been coming here for about 5 years and have always had amazing service. Having a dealership you can trust to take care of your car for normal maintenance is great, and it s even better when you have an emergency and need to bring your car in unexpectedly like I did before this past visit. The semi I was driving behind on the highway had their transmission blow up and in the process lost a u-joint which ended up tumbling under my car, ripping a hole in my oil pan and causing the oil to drain completely. I was frantically trying to figure out what to do with insurance, which tow company to call etc., but when it came to figuring out where to have it towed for repairs, there was no question which dealership to take it to (even though they were quite a ways from where I got stuck). I knew I could call Ed Martin Buick GMC and they would get me taken care of no problem. And they did of course! It was a hectic night but they made dealing with all of that so much less stressful. And on top of that they were able to get my car fixed and returned to me in just over a day! Which considering parts for my car usually take longer to get in, was amazing! They re seriously the best. I will always recommend them and they re the only place I will take my cars! Thank you Ed Martin!

i bought my used 2006 honda ridgeline and the sale person told me they just did the brake and the oil service. two days of driving it im hearin tap tap noise every time i push my brake. well just to find out problem the I TOOK the vehicle to the Firestone service to check it out, CALIPER BOLT MISSING IN THE FIRST PLACE. i serve 7 years in the army this is the way i got from there dealership. i check the hood to make sure all the fluid is good is not. the coolant is way low. im sick and tire of it i don't want to drive this unsafe vehicle in the first place. the end of the day is about making money.

Very unprofessional WONT ever go there again for service. Quoted me a price for tires. It was a price match since I could get them lower at another place. They specifically told they do price matching. They put the tires on then told me "oh we can't price match". You have to pay extra now.

Katie was my service rep and she went above and beyond to communicate with me daily and try to work things out in my favor. My truck was there for 32 days and she never gave up or lost her spirit. I've been a customer of Ed Martin for over 15 years and I've never been disappointed, but Katie deserves an award for her customer service, perseverance and professionalism. Be aware that companies are willing to do free recall services on used vehicles for this dealership (pick up vehicle, do service and return vehicle within the day) but the sales manager would rather curse out the other companies, dropping the F bomb and then hanging up on them. Not very good service!!! Not professional by any means!!!! If they are not willing to do the FREE recalls, what else are they not doing to their used vehicles. Makes me feel like their used cars are lemons.

Hate to say it, but absolutely worst car-buying ex...

Hate to say it, but absolutely worst car-buying experience.

First, received the brand new truck with calcium build-up all over it.. I'm assuming from their sprinkler system. They didn't even bother to touch it. I was promised a detail.. when I took it back, they still hadn't taken care of it.

Second.. Had the pinstripe sticker removed from the sides of the truck. Apparently their sticker guy had gone home sick, so they had someone else do it. Well go figure, there were surface scratches all the way down both sides of the truck.

Took it back for a second time. I was told it would be ready in a day to have the scratches buffed out. Was just called and was told it will be a week before I get it back because now they have to sand down the scratches; yes, because that's exactly what I want.

Third, I was supposed to get the bed mat from the truck I traded in.. that's no where to be found and I keep getting lied to. I find out one of the sales managers is driving my old truck.. that's why the bed mat isn't there.

I bought a $60,000 truck.. I didn't expect it to be a refurbished truck. This is awful.

Terrible Customer Service. All I get is a "sorry." I feel like more needs to be done to make this right.

I purchased my Pontiac G8 back in 2009 from Ed Martin. The sales process was smooth and they were very easy to work with. The Service department has been by far the best dealer service department I have ever worked with. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and have kept my vehicle in excellent running condition. I would purchase another vehicle from Ed Martin just for the Service department alone.

After I honked and the overhead door opened it was all smooth sailing. Getting my brakes checked was the only issue (I thought), but the mechanic didn t stop there. The entire suspension was checked and I was given detailed print outs with pricing; but I was only charged the brake inspection fee and no pressure for more work.

Keith Baker made the experience awesome. We were able to communicate via email and text prior to our visit. The entire terms were complete so all my wife had to do was the final test drive and we were in financing and on our way home. Very pleased with the vehicle and the entire Ed Martin group.

I leased a car from them for 39 months and made all my payments on time. I dropped off the vehicle 2 days before my lease period ended. They never informed GM financial (the leasing company) that the car has been dropped off. GM is still asking me for money. I have talked to both companies even though I have paid my dues and at this point GM s money is with Ed Martin. An Ed Martin salesperson told me he took care of the matter and I thought everything was handled only to find my credit score dropping significantly. If you have worked hard on your credit score, do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

Came in on a Saturday for oil/filter/tire rotation service and explained that I've been living with an intermittent rear camera problem that was now consistently not working. When the service ticket was written, I was told the camera would probably not be repaired on a Saturday and another visit would be required. After the maintenance work was completed, Carol came out and told me the camera was the problem and that it could be replaced if I wanted to wait an additional 45 minutes. I waited and now I don't have a camera problem and I didn't need to schedule another visit!

Outside of getting me the car I wanted... But they did not get the contract completed correctly, causing me to not to be able to obtain the title or my plates on time prior to the expiration date. Also, proper contact was never made. At first, it seemed ok, but then it went downhill. Poor customer service

Got a great deal on a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid but I told the sales associate Keith Baker and the Sales Manger Kenny several times that I want to transfer my licenses plates over from my old car to my new car. And guess what happens. I get a new licenses plate in the mail with a bill of $150 that I did not want to spend. That was just the tip of the iceberg. I also got double taxed on the vehicle which they sent a check over for the difference but that money was suppose to go to my down payment. Now I'm making a higher monthly payment that I didn't want either. The only good thing that I can say is that I got a nice car.

I was very disappointed. I have used Ed Martin for years in Anderson, but I moved to Indianapolis. The first day they called and said they had two people go home sick and asked if I wanted to reschedule or leave it for the next day, I left it. I called and left a message about 5:00 the next day. I didn t hear back so I called again at 5:30, they were almost done.At 5:45 there were done but I didn t get my vehicle until the next day.
I needed a ride there. The man said he would bring it to me, but he didn t have a ride back. I was picked up about noon, the next day after the driver drove to Anderson. The address had not been changed. When I finally got my vehicle, there was a note that said it needed an air filter. WHAT-after having my vehicle For 3 days, for a 120,000 mile check, they couldn t contact me for this??? Cheryl Delmolino

Do NOT go to this place. No one deserves their toxic disrespect and discrimination. The sales person reached out to me many times to express their interest in my car. Finally I set an appointment to take in my car. I arrived on time but waited about 20 mins to meet the person, Steve Scott, who they had scheduled with me. He acted like he was not interested at all. He appraised my car and after another 40 mins waiting he came to tell me he won't have the price ready until another couple hours. He asked if I wanted to wait. I said no and he said he would call me when the result was ready. It has been 48 hours and I didn't hear anything from him or his associates. What a waste of my time. They treat their customers with no respect or sincerity. AVOID THIS PLACE!

My experience at Ed Martin is exceptional I believe the staff there knows the importance of good customer service.I must say I was very disappointed, unsatisfied when purchasing my Encore in 2017 with the service department it was so bad I never wanted to come back there again.I took my vehicle other places to be serviced but never satisfied,came back saw it was all new staff in the Service Dept all it s been since then is two thumbs up,very impressed with the Service Dept manager he always looks clean and sharp when I m there he seems to be involved with making sure the customer receives good quality service.
