although it would appear there not having much fun trying to make printers they make a digital camera diode that is very modular and dosn't require IR illumination but is cape able of working with it the diode is easalyu incorporated with an IR iluminator to perform varous analog and scientific operations it is modualar and and more capable
other digital camera diodes take an exesive amount of power for the quality they produce and are not as modular and capeable as the one desighned by kodak
did you know some of these cheaper camera diodes that can be used by perverts to xray through clothing (not saying you cant accomplish that with the kodak 1) can in theory reciev a signal from a hackers interface generating device!
its yet to be discovered but any camera that can amplify or deactivate its IR all on one integrated chip can be used as a means to hack your device!
but on the kodak integrated diode because the power and the IR illumination take place at 1 central point most of the time it is impossible to hack in through the camera because there is no externally exposed peripheral waiting for the signal to power the camera chips on
Kodak needs to be backed up
oh and i wrote this verry fast n didnt use spell check
oh yes and also if you aime the common output frequency of the IR illumination most civilian cameras would be useless but in theory there version will continue to capture with reduced functionality but you should be able to recognize what's being jammed with minor adjustment
and if you are sneaking up on a criminally insane person like a smart pedofile as a detective or police investigator did you know that the IR illumination is emitting a signal that can give you away? for covert photography and highly accurate photos tha produce data to be used in evidence for anything professional's use cameras with Kodak's digital capture diode because the IR illumination process need not emit outside the camera

I bought a printer ESP Office 2150 less then a year ago and started having problems. i called Kodak support the first time and was kept on the phone for 2 and half hours by a person who had a terrible communication prolem. After so many test he concluded that the printer would have to be replaced with a new one since it was still under warranty.
The next day I received the order confirmation and it stated a refurbish printer was to be sent. I called them back and again stayed on the phone this time for an hour with another individual going back and forth about me getting a used printer instead of a new one. I requested to speak with a ;supervisor, but was kept on hold for 33 minutes and he came back saying the supervisor was busy, but that he would call me back in a few minutes. He never did
The next day I called back and again I spoke with another person who stated the supervisor could not do anything about it. Finally, after 20 minutes on the phone, the supervisor came on and said he was sorry, but that I just had to settle with the used printer and said is ther anything else I can do for you and thank your for calling Kodak and hung up. I called back and demanded to speak with somone hight then a supervisor and was told there was no one higher. I requested a phone number to the cooperate office, but he would not provide me with it. He did give me a customer service email address in which he said we could file a complaint with them. I did, and quess what, as of today 20 days leater, no response.
I received the used printer 5 days later and this printer does not work either. Again I called them and stayed on the phone 40 minutes with them running more test, the conclusion was that my black print cartridge was low and that was the problem. He said there was nothing else he could do. The next day I went and bought a black cartridge and the printer still was malfunctioning. I called them back and again more test. Their findings now was that the print head was out and they were sending me one.
This well known company should be ashame of themselves robbing people as such and then putting on these people that have no sympathy for what the custormer is going thru. For years I had HP printers and watching Kodak's commercial, I bought one in believing I would save money. I am hoping something can be done about their malpractices.

Sure wish I had read the reviews on Kodak and their poor customer support before purchasing the Kodak C310 at Walmart. Very unreliable print head and customer support failed in round 2.
11 months after purchase they replaced the defective print head. Now here it is 10 months after replacement and same problem. Customer Support informs me the 1 year warranty has expired and I must purchase my own new print head.
Kodak Customer Support is in India and they have no supervisors. Shame on Kodak. Walmart and others should pull their products off their shelf.

Dealing with Kodak is a nightmare because you're n...

Dealing with Kodak is a nightmare because you're not dealing with Kodak. You're dealing with a call center in what one would presume to be India, based on accents, but no one will confirm their location. They repeatedly refuse to listen, talk over top of you while you're answering their questions, and refuse to transfer you to anyone in the United States or allow you to talk to anyone else. Either the issue is their work policies or that English is not their first language because after you explain the problem, they ask you questions for which you just gave them the information. For 8 months, I have dealt with Kodak Tech Support and still I have a Hero 7.1 that only prints 40-60 pages TOTAL in B&W Draft quality only... which uses up BOTH the black AND the color cartridges. They have twice sent "real Kodak ink cartridges" to me, but have no records of this or any previous conversations. I have twice purchased ink cartridges labeled "Kodak" from Sam's Club and Walmart, and while the tech support listed Walmart as a location to purchase the Kodak cartridges, he went on to say that they if they were not from the Kodak website, that they were old or re-manufactured.

Upon calling Eastman Kodak Company at this address and number, the guy who answered sounded like a guard on a walkie talkie. The first number he transferred me to never answered and eventually disconnected. When I called back, he tried another number, which allowed me to follow prompts regarding printers, HOWEVER, at the end, as I was waiting, it suddenly began talking about "having your Kodak camera handy." Further proof that Kodak has issues in every aspect of its company, and if you look around the internet, you'll find an endless number of people complaining about the same incredulously small number of pages or photos they are getting from the Kodak printers.

Reaching anyone seems impossible, so my advice is to avoid Kodak printers and instead use HP printers. After years of faithful service, I was lured away from my older all-in-one HP and Lexmark printers by the promise of Kodak's superior economical printing, which is costing me around $1.84 a page I believe, AND countless hours of phone calls and online chat to try and resolve my issue over the past 8 months.

I have never dealt with such a poor company in my life. I bought I Kodak ESP C310 printer less than a year ago. I have had to put thee new printheads in it since that time. The customer service is so poor. When you send an email, you get the same canned answer and they never solve the problem. I have had nothing but problems with this printer. I don't use my printer often, so there is no excuse for the printheads not lasting longer. It is by far the worst printer I have had. I will NEVER buy anything with Kodak's name on it ever again. Please don't waste your money, and most importantly, your time, having to try to communicate with these people!!! It's not worth the headache!!

Worst customer service that I have ever received i...

Worst customer service that I have ever received in my life. I not one who normally writes reviews, as a matter of fact this is my first one. I am writing this in the hopes that MAYBE someone will seriously re-think and reorganize their customer service procedures. I own two kodak printers and have be mostly satisfied with the performance. I recently purchased a new color ink cartridge replacement from a very large retail store chain and brought it home, It printed two pages and then the printer show that the cartridge was empty...really? After only two pages? I tried to return it to the retailer, but they do not accept open packages on ink cartridges. So. I contact Kodak tech support and the nightmare began. After 9 emails, that were all canned, scripted and not at all personal in any way, they still have not answered my questions nor met my need in any way whatsoever, The original problem which was the cartridge and not my printer was never even addressed in any of the responses, Even when I spoke to a rep on the phone, they were reading the same information that was sent to me by email. UNBELIEVEABLE Needless to say, I am no longer a Kodak fan nor a consumer of their products. Ink may be a little more costly on my new printers but in the long run, I'd rather pay more than know that I was using a product of a company who doesn't even know how to communicate to me personally and to my issues with their product. Rethink it if you are thinking about buying a Kodak product, Seriously rethink it.
