Ealing Studios, a television and film production company and facilities provider at Ealing Green in West London, claims to be the oldest film studio in the world. It was used for pick up shots in Attack of the Clones in the last week of March and first week of April 2001 and again in October to November the same year. Ealing Studios produced a series of popular dark comedies starring Alec Guinness in the late 1940s and early 1950s, including Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), The Man in the White Suit (1951), The Lavender Hill Mob (1952), and The Ladykillers (1955).
