In general, I liked everything! Picturesque Lagoon with five hotels, a good beach, a decent Thai hotel! Far from the center of Phuket, BUT had to go for dinner! The coolest hotel in Lagoon - Banyan Tree Phuket!

The staff were excellent and very welcoming and treated us like king and queen. They had free tea in the afternoon and a cocktail before dinner everyday during our stay. The beach was beautiful and big. It was relatively quiet and very close to the hotel, Just steps away.
Breakfast can be improved with some more options and electricity is a problem as we had to call the engineer twice to fix the TV and outlets.
People really kind with guests. I highly recommend to pay for breakfast since it's one of the best I tried in my whole trip. Shuttles to downtown/airport have extra cost, so keep it in consideration in case you want to go out the hotel. Pillows are very thick, but in general it was a good experience.
Best hotel in Phuket - It is really worthwhile to enjoy the seafood near the beach, excellent quality of fresh sea food, the staff is well trained and always tries to render the best possible service to their customers.
We also took the opportunity to try the South East Asian buffet offered in the hotel, it was a pleasure to try the different dishes. Everything was prepared with the utmost care.
As a Dusit Gold member we were well treated with a complimentary gift but there was no upgrade possible due to the rooms being occupied.
Nonetheless, we are really enjoying our room with lagoon view, a nice peaceful place. And the staff surprised with a very beautiful decoration on our bed for our wedding anniversary.

Great location, enough sunbeds in sunny spots and shadows, good restaurants, especially Italian(!). Good place for lazy, relaxed holidays. Minor glitches in conditioning, some guests might find interiors outdated, but overall great experience!

This place absolutely perfect. The rooms are cleaned after 5 to 6 hrs the swimming pool every thing and the location is perfect i loved it .
A really beautiful place, I have the sea in front of me and to the side the lagoon ,the service is fantastic, the people are so kind and gentle,you would think you have been taken care of by your grandmother, the building itself is beautiful, the gardens are well kept the place is very clean, great breakfast they have everything you want ,the Italian restaurant is also very good great chef, very good service , still have 6 days to go, until now a pleasure.
We rest for the third time in Phuket and this time with a child of 1 year old, we chose the best from the point where it was better to stay with the child decided on Bang Tao Laguna and Hotel Dusit. We had a room with a view of the lagoon this is the cheapest. The view is really beautiful unusual, the equipment in the room is also ok, but if you are with a child and you are three, then very closely. When the crib is put, it will not turn around and you will have to spend time in your room longer than if you were without children, you won t lie down on the beach from morning till night, in general it s uncomfortable. Therefore, I advise the family to choose a larger room. We had another visit to Rachi and then we returned to Dusit for 1 night, we were provided with a club room, this is a completely different level and comfortable, and the breakfasts are other just gorgeous, by the way, Fresi is everywhere, in both restaurants, but the choice of dishes is much richer for the clubs so I advise you to pay extra for the room if possible.
They took a car for rent, drove around the neighborhood - a lot of things can be seen (car rental - Orange car phuket, a large serious company, good cars).
About the territory: the beauty is green around, the beach is not bad, but only trade (fruits, clothes) in front of you is ruined because the beaches have to be put up with, the sea is clean, good, in the pool I personally wasn t happy to swim is purely my feeling do not run barefoot a lot of thorny bumps. Restaurants are expensive everywhere, but Ruen Tai is special at least 1 time to visit, in the boat avenue there is a restaurant Totti there to call you, they will pick you up free of charge from the hotel and bring back there cheaper but also deliciously acceptable.
A summary is if you want comfort especially with a child in this hotel, choose at least club numbers and above. The staff is firstly grateful for the early check-in and room upgrade on the second arrival, and wish to provide more information about the hotel about all the advantages, we wish the hotel finally to fully upgrade and become even more comfortable for rest.
A fairy tale))) Staff is very attentive, friendly, helpful. The room is cleaned every day, many write about the tip, for me this is one of them. The breakfast is really rich, there was something for every taste. Pool and beach are very clean! It was the first time I was in the pool. Not to compare with Turkey or Canaries.

Very nice property. Pool is very clean and has a great deal of water playing things for adults and children. The restaurants are all top notch. Staff is very friendly and speak English well. The beach is close and is much nicer than other local beaches. Overall cleanliness of the entire hotel is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket. Location is about 30 minutes from airport and Patong, 40 minutes from Phuket Old Town.

Such a beautiful resort with beautiful staff. Honestly the best stay I have ever had. If you are looking for a place to relax by the beach or pool with your partner or family, this is the place! You can walk along the beach in any direction and find beautiful restaurants (in any price range) or even just outside the resort if you don't wish to dine inside it. Dusit Thani is located outside of the touristy destination but shuttle buses are well organised here to take you to any major touristy location you wish. I highly recommend Dusit Thani, a real luxury resort with a traditional feel. Beautiful rooms and exquisite dinning.
The hotel is breezy & excellent. We were dreading coming here as we are vegetarians. But there's a deepavali restaurant rt outside the hotel. In the breakfast , v got dosa, chole rice. Which enhanced our experience. Didn't try any outdoor activity. Just relaxed. Angspana spa is worth every penny.
What an amazing experience I had here. My room was tastefully decorated and comfortably cool. The food service was on point with many different regional options to choose from. All of it tasty and delicious. They delivered on the nice little touches as well with floral turn down service and glass bottle of water daily. Not to mention the view.

I often stay here. A place away from the hustle and bustle. The sea Sand Relax. There is a shuttle to the restaurants. At breakfast, a large selection of fresh fruit and especially good pastries.
Loved our stay at the Dusit! All employees were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Nice pool and direct beach access from the property. 500 Baht outdoor massages on the property, loved those! Breakfast was not included . This was the only one of four hotels we stayed that didn't include breakfast. It was delicious... and expensive. It was a very lovely place.
Excellent place. Lots of lawn spaces facing the beach...it s a thing that older resorts have...rooms to land ratio is low. Staff are courteous and friendly especially the reception team. Well done!!!

Daily consumable accessories ie shampoo, soap etc is very adorable, we took one set as souvenir. Welcome drink was very nice. What I like the most is live performance by a staff, very soothing music.

The spa was excellent altho it was a little pricey. Well worth it tho. For a huge compound there was only 1 pool which the kids and adults share. I understand there are plans for another pool but am not sure when. Also the breakfast area for a tad small for a hotel of this scale. The pool and the beach were well patrolled so safety is high on the list. Definitely worth another visit.

Not bad. Lonely, prices are above average, comfort is also above average - the beach, breakfast, number of rooms. Minus 1 point - there are few restaurants within walking distance, prices are high, quality is questionable. In the photo - fitness center hotel. The simulators are old and even rusty - but at least not stuffy inside. All muscle groups can not work - especially the legs
Great hotel for families with children! If you are looking for entertainment associated with the association of Thailand-city of sins, then this is not the place. But the family vacation with the kids here for you. I do not know how things are in the surrounding neighboring hotels inside and what kind of rooms there are, but here the best territory is all in greenery, everywhere the shadow and the beach are closer than the rest. One word- PARADISE !!!

We been in this hotel from 11.03 to 15.03. Everything was perfect after we found out after we left hotel 2 days later that my husband's Breitling watch was forgotten in room and never found again.
We called back to hotel but nobody see anything.

My overall experience was good. Nice and clean beach, green spacious territory, clean room, friendly staff. Although it's 5*, there is a lot of independent services around like massage area on the beach or restaurants. A few concerns I had: I was paying additionally for the ocean view, but it seems all the rooms have the same view: a little forest in front and then the ocean(see photo). There were also pipes stinking from the bathroom.

Located in a beach resort town. This resort is absolutely stunning. The staff is very friendly and they can all speak English. This resort and the town it is located in is ideal for couples or families.
A very beautiful hotel, even though it is 30 years old, it has three roundabouts. Basement, the first bedrooms, the hall and the upper floor, a swimming pool with a session overlooking the lake, very stupid design. Breakfast is beautiful, laundry is high, the price of the hotel in terms of the place is beautiful

Excellent beach, very good location and building. However, overrated price only covers accomodation and breakfast, nothing else is included. The hotel should include some other simple facilities for the guest: free bikes, pedalboard etc.
Been going to the Dusit for many years, staff are always very helpful, the boys who puts the towel out will always go out of there way to help you, will be going back again soon.

Beautiful place and exotic landscaping. The open air spa took my vacation to a new level. Delicious vegetarian food. Warm staff. My kids made most of this place with their pool and play areas.

Two bedroom villa has good bedrooms with bathrooms, good living room with a view, well-equipped kitchen with espresso coffee machine and a lot of free bottle of water, the roof-top private pool with spacious lagoon view. Every staff is kind and gentle and friendly. Foods and cuisines are good and are worth the cost. I must recommend this facility to everyone.
