Dusit Thani laguna phuket Review

Good service, upgrade room, breakfast is really good. Recommended.

A bit of distance to local markets and city life. Well kept resort. A bit pricey.

Family oriented well designed... Good experience inspite of being far from many attractions... So I suggest ti keep it at the end of your Phuket trip.

Perfectly tranquil resort experience with friendly staff, fantastic food at all restaurants and plenty of ways to relax (clean, quiet beach or excellent spa for starters) or be adventurous (great local tour desk!). A wonderful property all the way around that we would certainly use again if we come back to Phuket. Finally, the manager stopped us in the lobby to ask how things were going.....this place cares about the guest experience and tries to exceed expectations.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very cozy atmosphere and beautiful ambiance. Location is great as it is a walk distance to the shops. Everything about is great. However, the bedrooms' furniture needs to be updated.

It is a resort where you can experience the passing of time slowly. It suits me (laughs)

A delightful place to visit for some amazing service, beautiful view, good food and peaceful all together at the same time. Staff is polite and cheerful. Definitely intend to visit the resort for another amazing experience. Not to forget to mention the different restaurants serving different cuisines definitely worth the try.

Amazing place, we went in 2010 in August and had a wedding blessing at the chapel on the Laguna. It's a beautiful place with staff could do no more for you. Would go back again.

The hotel is good, but there are cons, many do not speak Russian and 3: 5

Too many people, and the sea is not the cleanest. The hotel is so-so, Good three, it s hard to call it five. The second time I would not go here, very much. A lot of children, the pool is very small, it s difficult to call a fitness gym a fitness gym.

Excellent hotel l, tremendously friendly and helpful staff

My friends and I stayed at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket for 5 days and we had a phenomenal experience. The resort was exceptionally clean and the friendliness of the staff was extraordinary. We highly recommend Dusit Thani!

A great place to stay, the food was good and the staff friendly. The beach captured and framed the sunset. A good hike from where the shops are, but you can walk it if you want. I recommend this place.

Right on Bang Tao beach, this resort gets 2 thumbs up all the way. Besides the Andaman sea, there's a lagoon next to it.
Room was comfortable, had a great view, hospitality was seamless, and food options were aplenty.

Very attentive people, everything very clean and beautiful, the only downside is that until September there is no pool, since they are under construction. Otherwise, a 10.

It s a quiet resort by the beach in Bang Tao. A bit too quiet if you are looking for fun.

Wonderful staff. Well maintained facilities although tennis courts suffered during recent renovations, leaving only 1 & 3/4 courts left! Go figure.

Absolutely beautiful, our room was right off the beach. Very friendly staff, beautiful lobby with bar and pond with koi, water falls that pour into the glass that you can see while walking below the lobby. The tea time snack bar was our favorite

Superb. Longgg beach with soft sand base. Pool relatively small, find my spacious play though. Hotel food up to your choice, value for price, i.e., looking for shrimp/fish, plenty when served, taste to my tongue. Lucky to meet quality guest : slow life, mumble voice, selective eating, reading. Super holiday :)

This is the best time of our lives. Everything here is perfect, everyone is kind and good to us. The staff is friendly and professional. Everything is very clean. Everything is perfect. We are still reminiscing about the wonderful days we spent at this resort! Thanks to all the people I might have forgotten.

Fantastic place. Spectacular laid back beach area with white sand. Outstandingly attentive and omnipresent service level. Hotel offered free transfer to the airport and when our departing flight was late in the afternoon, they provided a complimentary extension of our check out time. Everything was excellent.

The rooms are in good condition and the surrounding scenery is good. The swimming pool is small. Breakfast is not varied and tastes poor

Warm welcome from staffs , excellent service mind, room was clean and comfortable located on Bangtao Beach very convenience location. Small swimming pool but ok, breakfast was very busy on weekend. Old but classic building I think it s time for renovation. 6 stars maybe after renovated.

The Dusit Thani is a reasonably nice hotel. The reception team is excellent as well as the Bell Captain team. The management team was unreliable. I was promised a refund for an early departure (due to an airline flight cancellation and rebooking) which didn't happen once I left. Instead I received an email stating it was against their policy.

For the money, I would expect the facilities to be better updated. The rooms are nice enough and the access to the ocean is fabulous. Linens are good. During my first stay, I booked the Executive King Suite. It had a nicely laid out living room and bedroom with walk out access to the patio at ground floor. The bathrooms are just OK. The tub was small and stained and the show was weirdly small. The shower head also need replacing.

The patio could have been nice but the lounge chairs are cheep plastic and not very comfortable. The cushions didn't appear to have been cleaned in quite sometime. There were also 3 dirty towels on the chairs when I arrived to the room that didn't get removed even on the second day until I put them out in the corridor.

It's a day but it's quiet and the sound of the birds is good to think of sunbathing and thinking in the wood in front of the beach.The hotel is old, but it's good to spend in the spacious family pool with friendly staff.
The depth of the sea is a bit deep and the water is not very transparent but still clean,
However, the hotel is very far from the downtown and there is no food around the hotel, so people who need food and entertainment, rather than just recreation, should stay the same throughout the day.

A very nice hotel, with beautiful sea views and great staff. However, I was disappointed that the programs run by the hotel like yoga were not included. I noticed other hotels had free yoga, Thai chi, and other things going on for free which would have been good for those days we didn't leave the hotel.

Everything seems to be fine, but breakfasts are not the best. There were many strangers not from our hotel.

One of the best beach front hotels in Phuket. Great service and friendly staff

We live in Laguna Park and often go to the Dusit pool. Two adults 1000 baht, do not charge for children, give four loungers and put two umbrellas. Good large area with access to the sea. Children's pool is shallow with a small slide, but we need it for safety reasons. There is a cafe with a children's menu, in season - scooters and other excursions.

Rented a scooter and rode around the whole island for a day, if you're comfortable with the idea of riding a scooter in Thai traffic, it's the best $15 you can spend!

Just perfect. Top notch service. Great food. If there is a budget take a villa with a pool. The most indulgent hotel in Thailand!

Resort full of floral fragrance. It is old but well managed and the staff is very attentive.
The disadvantage is that the water is well supplied to the two bedroom villa toilet, and the breakfast menu (rice noodles) can be the same every day.

It should be in the must place to be while visiting Phuket

Wonderful 5 stars hotel specially during low season with less tourists. Personnel is very kind and helpful. The food is delicious with several restaurants offering Thai, Italian, and other delicacies. The hotel provides massages, tours to different attractions in Phuket and other islands around, gym, outdoor activities, open air swimming pool, all in a magnificent decoration. In addition, the hotel is right in front of the sea. Very recommended. Would certainly come back here.

Hotel is well located in front of an amazing beach. Still staying for a few more days. A great place to stay, friendly staff and I would definitely come back. My daughter is having a great time here.

Lovely beach resort. I was here for meetings and I must say the staff is very professional and know exactly what I required. Great food served as well that. A short walk out to the beach for a bit of breather.

Great hotel lovely location people so friendly but a bit over priced in bars and restaurants certainly not what we expected.

Superb facilities......food a bit on the monotonous side as this is an international facility....hence local thai not available...otherwise a great place for holidays..!!!
