I have visited twice with my exotic vet. They are wonderful and so helpful with my Ruby. I would highly recommend visiting this vet if your fur baby needs some TLC.

I was so thankful to be seen for my bird emergency. The dr & staff is wonderful and very supportive during high stress owner pet situations. I thought i was going to loose my sweet bird but Dr. Boxberger and her staff saved her. I cannot say enough nice things about this clinic. The lobby atmosphere is very comfortable & rekaxing. The price for exam & services is very affordable. Overall, i will never go anywhere else and plan to tell all of my pet owner freinds so they can switch to this clinic.

Very clean facility. Spacious lobby which is nice for each pet to have some personal space. Very caring doctors and techs. Not all of the office staff is friendly but we can live with that. Wasn t seen right at appointment time but wait wasn t terribly long. Visits can be pricey depending on what you need. The main thing I really don t like is that you have to wait quite a while to get out onto Coldwater in traffic, especially turning left. Wish there was a light at the entrance. Still staying a client because the pros and great doctors outweigh the cons.

Super clean, overly friendly staff that is mostly young ladies, (I told my son he should get a job there) but, this is a capitalistic Society and I paid $150 for a vet to look at my puppy and give me some deworming medicine. So, kudos to them for getting my business the first time, but I decided to find a less expensive alternative, and we got rid of the puppy.

Always kind and curious. They have been great with my dogs and one they helped lose weight to live longer.

I love Dupont Veterinary! We don't have a preference of Vet because in our experience all that we have encountered have had the same level of service. We take all our pets to see them.
Like all Veterinarians however, do not buy your pet meds from them, use Chewy.com or something. All vets mark up their med prices 3x what you would see online, this isn't exclusive to them, nearly all vets do this.

I went here for the first time recently and I loved it. It was a very nice facility and they even had snacks and drinks available while I waited! I saw Dr. Boxberger who specializes in rabbits. She was great and very knowledgeable. I like that this clinic is well versed in the care of exotic pets!

It is really hard to find a good vet, but the Veterinarians and staff at Dupont are definitely some of the best in the area. While the prices are a bit high compared to some other options, it is as they say, "you get what you pay for". They have always done a great job and are very attentive to the animals. They make sure your cat and dog are cared for and show the animals that they see in their practice love. You can tell all the people that work here really love animals. The staff takes the time to explain everything that is going on and answers all your questions very throughly.

The staff and veterinarians/assistants are incredible. It's always very clean and every time I've take my animals there, they've offered my daughter and I something to drink and have made us and our pets comfortable while we wait. They have gone the extra mile several times and explain things thoroughly. They even let me take a video on how to use a certain medication on my bearded dragon since they had to give a dose there and I had a give another dosage in a couple of weeks. They're friendly and very affordable compared to other vets. I'm very happy doing business with them. I wish that I could post pictures, but it won't let me.

Wonderful vet clinic! Clean facility with a kind and compassionate staff. Had a couple emergencies with my dog and the doctors were very accommodating with excellent care and quick responses. Thank you!

The staff has always treated Niko, my golden retriever, so good. They love him and he loves them too.
Dr. Rietdorf has been Niko's Veterinarian since he was 12 weeks old. He is now almost 10 1/2 years old. That alone speaks for itself!

The best veterinary clinic ever! I called really worried about my 15 year old dog, and they got me right in! I had to bring my 2 year old wild child, and they all were so nice and understanding when she started screaming in the reception area. They even gave her stickers! They explained everything really well, and told me they ll call to check up in about a week. So considerate! Highly recommend this office!

Extremely satisfied after taking my dog for a check up. The second I have a concern, i call and can get him seen so quickly. Wait time in the lobby is minimal and the vet does a great job thoroughly examining my pet while explaining to me everything they saw.

If you choose not to allow vaccines for your dog and you're Dr. Boxberger's patient, she will lecture you and refuse to talk about anything else in a helpful manner that is happening with your dog, after she finds out your anti-vaccination.

I don't need a lecture, I was in the medical community for almost 12 years as a medical lab tech, plus I'm going through several chronic illnesses of my own and know a lot of information about the immune system and what vaccines can do to it.

Some people are educated, some aren't, but I can tell you none of those vaccines for dogs come with an ingredient list, and when I inquired from the vaccine company, I got told their they don't know what is in their rabies vaccine, except mercury isn't in there. So all of these vets at this location, and probably more, are giving vaccines to your pets without knowing what ingredients are in them. That's a heck of a risk to take with our beloved pets.

In response to DVC response: I have Lyme disease, and to give a dog or a person the Lyme vaccine and say it s ok, is absolutely untrue! The vaccine is a live bacterial vaccine. You re giving yourself or your pet Lyme disease if you allow the vaccination. Borrelia Bergdorferi (Lyme disease) has what is called an outer surface protein A (ospA). It s listed in pet vaccine literature. This outer surface protein will destroy yours or your pets immune system within 10 days without any antibiotic treatment. I know quite a lot more about Lyme disease than whomever wrote the follow up response. To whomever did, your response is uneducated and deadly! Dogs die quickly with infectious Lyme disease. People suffer for untold years trying to find the perfect treatment regimen for themselves. Again, I don t need to be lectured. I m very informed on the subject.

I take my dog and cat there. Super nice and friendly staff!!!

The finest Veterinary Care my wife and I have ever experienced . Everyone from the Receptionists, to the Vet Techs, to Dr. Tratnyek are on top of their game. We are so glad to have found Dupont when we relocated to the Fort Wayne Area.

Front desk staff always polite and prompt; vets assistants friendly and knowledgeable, vets informative and approachable. Never feel rushed, always able to get my pets seen the same day if situation is urgent. Can t say enough good things about Drs. Reitdorf and Shaffer!

The staff are so great and kind. Hours are very convenient and easy to schedule. The special foods are well-stocked and easy to pick up even with our hectic schedule. Our cat rescues have had several issues- staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Never had a bad experience, and we are there quite a bit.

My first pet and veterinary experience has been with these talented folks. I have to drive across town, but the quality of care is worth it. Rarely much wait time, if so its because they are giving the same love and attention to a pet that you are about to receive.

Had my appt for 820am ..was in on time and was in and out in an hour including having blood work ran...everyone was super friendly...excellent experience!

I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else. They can always squeeze us in when one of the pups is sick. The staff, every single member, they're phenomenal. They love their jobs and it shows in how they treat me and my pets. They follow up with me after appointments to make sure things are going in the right direction. I really could not ask for a more skilled and caring staff. Our main vet is Dr. Pilla, but we have seen other vets at the practice for last-minute appointments on Dr. Pilla's day off or on her surgery days. My dogs have gotten consistent and thorough care, no matter whose hands they're in.

I've used DVC for about 20 years for my dogs. The staff and doctors are great. The practice has expanded over the years and treats exotics as well as the usual cats and dogs. My furry kids love Dr. Rietdorf and all the techs.

I took my pet python here and the service and care was amazing.

They always go above and beyond to make you and your furry family member comfortable in every situation. I wouldn't trust anyone one else with the care of our pets!

First time visiting them. My old vet was always friendly but this place, over the top. They were very accommodating and professional. My zoe felt very at ease here.

The vets and staff are all extremely friendly at Dupont Veterinary Clinic. They are extremely good with my dog, so much so that his tail is wagging nearly the whole time he is there. They also offer convenient appointment times around work hours and on the weekends.

The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly great with pets. The prices are a little higher than other vets I have gone to, but the service has been nothing but excellent each time we have taken our dogs there.

Had to take my turtle for his first ever vet visit. I had called a few days before and spoke to a receptionist wondering if I needed to bring him in or not but she wasn't sure (Which is totally fine!). The next day Dr. Amy's vet tech called me and wanted him sooner and got me in the next day, turns out he has pneumonia :(. Dr. Amy was very good at explaining everything to me and showing me how to give the injectable antibiotics for my pet. We have a check up in a month but I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone with exotics and oh how gorgeous the building is!

We love the staff at Dupont Veterinary Clinic. We have been going there for about 2.5 years. We have seen multiple vets there and have zero complaints. Recently we have been working with Dr. Pilla as our dog got pretty sick this past Summer. Dr. Pilla has been amazing and worked with our Purdue team to get our girl better. Dr. Pilla is also very considerate and keeps in contact with us to ensure our pup is doing well and to make sure we don't have any questions.

They are great here and we will continue to go to Dupont Veterinary Clinic as long as we are in the area.

PS. We obtain medication orders from here MONTHLY and have never had a problem with the dosage or amount being charged. In a previous review I read that a gentleman was having issues with this. I would like to say we have never had an issue and again, we are there getting prescriptions monthly.

This was the best vet experience I have ever had! My girlfriend and I just moved to town and were worried that we were not going to find a great vet for our dog. DuPont was not only close to our apartment but the facility was immaculate and inviting and every single staff member, assistant, and vet was kind, helpful, and loving to our dog.
The pricing was very reasonable as they go above and beyond to make sure you and your pet are taken care of. This will be our permanent vet while we live in Fort Wayne!

Loved this facility! Every staff member was friendly, informative and loving to my pet. Before any testing was done I was asked if I wanted the service. No surprises . Pup had zero anxiety. The evening hours are so convenient!

Everyone is always so nice. They treat my dog like they would their own. They never judge us even with the worst flea allergy my doggo had. They just helped us get him better.

I have 3 cats and a dog that see the doctor's here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Office is clean and well-kept.

We have been taking our cat here for the past 3 years. Always a 30-40 minute wait from the time we check-in until the time the vet enters the exam room. (NOT always easy with a scared 14 year old house cat.) Today's wait was almost an hour. Vet then proceeded to hurry through appointment (lasted under 5 minutes) with no explanation or apology for the ridiculously long wait. We will be going elsewhere for our cat's care.

They were very gentle and thorough with my kitten Amy. Staff was nice and helpful.

Highly overpriced but also came highly recommended. Have had nothing but large bills & headaches. In April my 2yo dog went in for a check up all was well. April is the time of year to renew all meds but they would not give me a prescription claiming they price match. I still had meds from fall. I belong to a group plan that would save me over $100 on pet meds, great right? Wrong, turns out they will not price match a human pharmacy even though they are prescribing pet meds! Requested script over phone several times before. Just ran out in August so asked again for script, they would call back when Vet had signed & filled out. Waited 3 hours before I finally went to office & it still was not ready. Their excuse, only 1 Vet on staff for a Thursday morning. I waited 20 more minutes for staff to come out with a script for 1 of the 2 meds we needed & only for 1 dose because her check up is due in Oct! Will be going to another vet! They seem to care only about money.

On another occasion, my dog needed a flu shot for daycare, they would not let me go with her to give her a shot. When I questioned them they said it would be faster & the room is too small. I explained that my dog is very shy & nervous around people. She is a rescue from hurricane Harvey. I said she would be more comfortable in my presence. They refused to let me go with her even though she clearly did not want to go without me, they dragging her by the leash as I tried to encourage her to go. Heartbreaking, I just looked at the tech & said see what I mean. They eventually got a treat & another tech to help. All that took longer than shot & could have been avoided had they let me go back with her. Will not be going back! Just observe how they are.

I always feel my pets are priority. I have a lot of pets/animals in my care, and this clinic has been able to handle all their needs. I'm so lucky to have found them.

The absolute MOST friendly vet clinic I've ever been to. Puppy didn't even mind being there. Knowledgeable, informative, available for questions and reasonably priced.

The actual care of the veterinarian was wonderful. She was knowledgable and and answered all of my many questions. The complaint that I have is with their front desk. I have been there 4 times now and never have the ladies at the front desk been polite or courteous. My second time there I stood in front of their desk while there were 4 ladies working on computers, for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was not going to say anything until I noticed that it was every time I went there. Again the actual veterinarian was amazing! They might just need a new staff on their front line.

By far the best vet I've found in Fort Wayne. I've been to 3 or 4 different vets in town (I've moved around a few times) and the service here is unparalleled. Test results come in quick, and the girls in the office are very thorough when it comes to getting you the information you need and verifying appointments. They do follow up calls which I find very helpful. My dog just had surgery to remove a mass, and they've been wonderful with aftercare and seeing me on short notice if I have any questions or concerns. Dupont Veterinary Clinic goes above and beyond to ensure the best experience for both my pets and me. And their rates are very competitive and affordable compared to some of the clinics I've been to! I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a new vet!

We can t say enough good about DuPont Veterinary Clinic. We particularly love Dr. Schaefer, but have always been impressed with every doctor and staff person.
They have truly treated our dogs like family, while being professional, understanding and kind. We re never pressured in to a test or a prodcedure, and our questions are heard thoughtfully.
The office is clean, well run, and on schedule. We are so incredibly thankful they have given us such wonderful care for the past ten years.

Absolutely LOVE Dupont Veterinary Clinic. They always greet both me and my kitty(s) warmly and kindly when I come in, and are always attentive to my concerns. They have an amazing way of calming my kitty(s), and never get upset about them exploring the exam room. You can tell every member of the Dupont Veterinary Clinic staff has a genuine love of animals and strive to give my furbabies the best care possible.

They are very good about explaining options and cost upfront so you don't get any unexpected surprises when checking out. They also follow up with me a few days after a visit to check on how my kitty(s) are doing and answer questions I might have. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the care of kitties.

Very impressed with this vet! We just moved to Fort Wayne from MI and had to take our 2 pomeranians here and they treated them so well. I feel so lucky to have found this place!

We usually have Dr Tratynek and Danielle as our dog's care providers. They're awesome, couldn't be more amazing. But....the entire staff have always been absolutely wonderful. Kind, warm hearted. We left our vet of nearly 20 years to go to Dupont. We have never regretted that decision.

this clinic was awesome I called several other clinics to try to get my 3 month old puppy to be seen and everyone else was booked out months ahead of time. They were able to get me in within hours that morning they were super nice and caring period will definitely make them my permanent vet.

The staff is incredibly kind and patient, couldn t ask for better care for our sweet puppy!

Just looking at the outside of the building you know you will experience the utmost care for your pet. Walking in you almost forget you re at a vet office! Unlike most vet offices they pay attention to detail that make sure you and your pet have quality care every time you enter from annual appointments, to picking up food, and procedures. I never leave with any questions and actually bring in a list that the doc is always willing to answer at length. I am super thankful to have found DuPont Veterinary Clinic!
