Food was delicious. View from the 40th floor was great. The service from our waiter David was terrible. I m putting it out there because David needs to know that. He was inattentive and joking around with a nearby table. Our table wasn t cleared out prior entrees coming out. Our drinks were not refilled or asked to be refilled. I informed the manager of this and he was very apologetic. It was an expensive dinner for poor service especially since they are very specific what they expect from us as patrons.

Cons: - The Signature Duck and Waffle was indeed just a hype. Duck was good but the waffle was so plain and wasn't at all exceptional. Eaten both together with the syrup --- it was still lacking. - Don't order the Spicy Duck Doughnut. Somehow the spices and citrus sauce sweetness do not work well together.
Food was good. And the server was very nice and helpful. The servers pointed out the vegetarian appetizers, meals and desserts without gelatin. Although their were only a few options they were very tasty. Fantastic view!
The food was great and exciting, lots of truffle options on the menu, but the vibe was extremely busy and chaotic. It was loud, there was a waiting period until you actually got to your table and once in, the space looks cramped, it's nowhere near as airy as the official pictures would show. Overall, not an experience I will remember as very enjoyable, but rather as rushed and uncomfortable. Even the nice view and food couldn't make up for that, and, as opposed to other reviews, I would really discourage you to use it as a romantic setting. It's more of a dinner with a highly expensive menu and good service.

Very special place which with lovely views & great food. Duck & waffle , was crispy n nice , must order this dish. Mixed with honey on it, scrumptious. . Was difficult getting a table, but well worth the wait.
Soo this restaurant is REALLY good the staff was like hawks and knew you needed service before you knew it yourself. One thing tho the duck and waffle is not a good combo but the lam was amazing.
Beautiful place with an amazing and spectacular views of London, however the service was not what we expected! firstly they advised us that we only had the table until 21:00, we sat down at the table at 19:20!, Secondly they took for ever to serve the drinks and continuously got the order wrong, missing drinks etc.. thirdly when we went to pay the waiter had very bad breath, it could have killed a dinosaur! Not a pleasant experience, which is such a shame as the venue is in a fantastic location.
The views of London are outstanding but unfortunately that is where the hype ends. The food is nothing special, including the signature duck and waffle dish. Although the duck leg was cooked well, the waffle and fried egg tasted average and nothing better than what you could make at home. I would only come back to have a drink in the bar or at sushi samba downstairs.
An incredible dining experience with an amazing view to boot. The duck and waffle was expectedly the highlight of our meal along with the wonderful selections of fresh breads.
The architectural construction isn't considered to the highest details and the staff wasn't 5 stars either yet the veiw compensated the above point and the food was quite good especially the duck.
Came in last Friday with friends for a dinner reservation, had the best time ever, the venue is so pretty the service was great and can t forget about one of the staff her name was Diana/ Dina? Her customer service was incredible she knew exactly what to recommend for both drinks and food, I ve been many times to duck and waffle and sushi samba she s by far my favourite, will definitely come back.
Me and my girlfriend booked a table a week ahead of time. Before our reserved table is ready, we were drinking at the bar enjoying the best view of London. Service at the bar was very nice. Nice ambiance. Later at the table we ordered duck & waffle and it was quite filling actually (for girls at least) Lovely experience in general.
Very bad manner at the door, they are very racist to people. I was wearing the same pants as the last time I came. This time they refused me going in, and I claimed that I wore the same then they said its a new manager and he doesn't want any trouser in the store. What a bullshit, very not happy with it. Perhaps they are racist to ASIAN.

The vibe was cool and relaxed and you could see your food being preped. I ate the classic duck and waffle there and it was really nice! I d definitely go again as it was really lovely.
The only thing I would comment on is the lift is extremely fast and being someone who doesn t like heights this was kind of scary. However this shouldn t stop anyone from going as I m sure they are stairs I was just to lazy to check lol.
Worst experience ever!!!! Door man rude and making ys wait in cold.Afrer 20' at the door with full o tables available the manager said tghag me(vegan) I have to order mains but there was no vegan option. I just order an avocado on toast wich took 20' and it qas a oiece of bread with a plein avicado , not even olive oil, and he forgot drinks. I didn't want a main I just wanted a dessert. After a while he also confused the drinks and finally he allowed me to get something sweet but they brought the dessert first and the mains after. As I said the worst experience ever.
But that's the best thing about the place. The scrambled eggs were brilliant, and the pork crackling is also very good. But the drinks I'm not bothered about, (too pretentious) the bar staff always seem to be very understaffed and overworked which means they don't come and take your order at a convenient time, and then when you want to pay are nowhere to be seen either.
Last time I went it was absolutely freezing, which is apparently a massive design fault in the air conditioning unit of the building because the staff blamed it on all the glass windows.
Great view that's about it. Terrible service, for being so expensive you would expect much better. There is only one vegetarian main which they had run out of no apology or offer to make something else. Left hungry when we finally received the bill.
Great restaurant. An indescribable view, a quirky menu and delicious food and drinks. Let down a bit by slightly haphazard service but really worth the trip nevertheless.
Valentines Day and have a very special day planned with the love of my life. All was going very well until we attended the "Duck and Waffle..." initial start of our dinning experience was ok but when cocktails were ordered then the rest of the dinning experience went rapidly downhill...the cocktail was absolutely horrific...a common and simple "Bloody Mary" was none other than murdered... The main course was served and the vegetable was soo bitter could not eat any more, and had to literally spit the remainder out of my mouth as I did the lamb given the benefit of doubt as I had issues cutting the meat with my knife. We complained to the manager with no recourse...
Have been here before and must say that the food and service on this occasion was not up to past standards.
The manager didn't listen or absorb any of our comments or remarks, just stood with a blank look on his face...
Not the type of response I'd expect from such an establishment particularly when your paying premium prices for such a special occasion.
Would not consider this establishment for any further celebrations particularly when we've experienced far superior service and exceedingly better quality of food from the Frog Restaurant.
Expensive for what it is. VAT isn't shown on any of there prices. Service charge automatically applied to the bill. Not all the food was brought together. Just all brought at random times in no order.
The location is fantastic. The chicken is great. But that's about it. It's one of those places that you have to go to once, but need not return. Most customers are either tourists or young dating couples. Adequate services but don't expect much more. Pity really, it could be better run.

Colombiana Egg + salmon taste great! View is amazing! The best place for breakfast with girlfriend. Check sunrise time and go 30-40 minutes before. Recommend!;)
You really only are coming here for a view, but even with the view we would ve enjoyed our trip just as much has we not gone. The staff is great, food is ok. Don t stress if you aren t able to go here there s much better food elsewhere!

If you want reasonably priced drinks this isn t the place for you. It has a nice ambiance, I came out for my birthday, and we welters told it would be a 45 minute wait so we decided to fill the time having drinks at the bar. The drinks didn t taste right and I had to ask the bar staff to change it a couple times before they got it right. At first they argued that that is how it should taste till they tried it and realised it was all wrong. After 45 minutes of waiting we realised we hadn t been called as we d been forgotten and other people had been called to be seated when we went to ask when we d be seated to dine we were told another 20 minutes so we decided to leave. When we got the bill for drinks we then noticed extra shots had been added to the cocktail ma and had been charged on even though we did not ask for the shots to be added. If you want a place with a nice view this would be the spot but make sure you have a booking or keep chasing up that a table is available
First time visiting this place could be passed off as decent . Nonetheless , the second time it was firmly established that the staff and management in this place is appalling. Upon my arrival the first time, we were received with a bright hostess who offered us a seat in the red booth, as there were no available spaces in the high chairs. Visiting , was my wife and a colleague from work. Upon seating us, the barmaid was rude to her colleague and pointed at alternative high chairs she could of sat us at. My wife let her know that the spaces were for two and we were a party of three, therefore we had no option than to ask for what time the red booths were booked for and that we would not be long. only to receive rudeness in exchange. My fig Manhattan cocktail was pleasurable. Secondly, I was invited to try the restaurant in the evening on the same week with an acquaintance. I was willing to go again and see if the restaurant service was just as discouraging as the first time, or if my perception of this place could change. The food was too salty. Quality food is deserving of a high price point, however the food here is overpriced. The space between tables is minimal and too congested. the waiters were all very helpful, however the over all experience was not diverting or gratifying. This is not worth a visit much less the expense.
AMAZING VIEW but... The food and drink is very poor duck was VERY salty, overcooked and dry. Waffle tasted very cheap, something you might find at the back of a hot dog truck The cocktail we both ordered 'DUCK and STORMY' was extremely bitter. Disappointed is an understatement. Despite us having a reservation and there being available seats by the window, we could not sit by the window :(
Made a booking a month in advance online with credit card details but didn't receive a confirmation. Repeatedly requested a confirmation through the online contact form and via email politely asking for a confirmation as we are only in London for 2 days from overseas. Disappointed that a business of this reputation would not extend the common courtesy to reply to simple email for weeks on end. Now we've given up and hope they don't charge our credit card. The food at Duck & Waffle was good but its no excuse to neglect the basics of customer service.

Food was wonderful! We've got a table next to the window so we can enjoy the great view. The Duck Confit with Waffle is good but not really amazing, I found it a bit dry and overcooked. Reasonable priced.
I just love Duck & Waffle. The location is fabulous with breathtaking views over London. I went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every single time the food and service was spot on. One of those places that you go over and over again and it doesn't disappoint.
It s too uncomfortable to eat, and it s about the same as a fast food restaurant, but because the restaurant is on the 40th floor, it creates a high-end feeling. In the booking email, the restaurant specifically emphasized the dress code, but the entire restaurant has a bar feel. I ordered three dishes. In addition to the duck waffles, the remaining mushroom dishes were too salty, and the squid dishes were not very good. Overall, the gap between expectations and reality is too great, and my girlfriend and I said that this restaurant is not worth it.
Really nice place and best view. Helpful staff and attentiveness was not missed at all times. We were looked after well. They even made a little drawing for sister's birthday. The only thing comment for improvement would be the duck my wife had was dry but still tasty. Recommended the place.
I thought the service was very good and I had to the signature dish, the duck & waffle which was very good and perfectly prepared. The view is fantastic so I guess the prices include that. Very professional all around.
Food was good but we felt we paid a arm and a leg for brunch. Maybe if it was in the lower 10 GBP range. But it's worth a try. The duck waffle was good and so was the duck breakfast burger. We just felt with all the hype and attraction it would blow our minds.

Do NOT eat here. The food is horrendous and is not prepared in a sanitary manner, and the staff is incredibly rude and unaccommodating. TERRIBLE experience. They should be closed down by the health inspector. I wish I could have given this joke of a restaurant 0 stars instead of 1. What an embarrassment. The staff is awful.
The restaurant is up on the 40th floor with an amazing view. Unfortunately we (boyfriend and I) weren t able to be seated without a reservation. They said they had no seats available for us because they were fully booked. We went in around lunchtime on a Wednesday. Which I understand it s always best to book a reservation but I honestly didn t know they were strict on that. They said we can sit at the lounge/ bar area and order some starters and drinks which we didn t mind. The reason for my low rating on this place is the fact that they literally did not attend to us whatsoever while we sat near the actual bar. We were there for 30 minutes sitting and waiting for someone to come and take our order. We were even trying to get someone s attention but no one even bothered to look our way! I was fed up and we left to go find another place to go eat. While leaving, the host said Thank you for coming in. Thank you for what? Wasting our time? She could have told a server to come our way since she told us to take a seat there in the first place. Totally inconsiderate and unprofessional.
Had breakfast here,food is okay, but their floor is nasty. Remember you are coming for the view, not for food, and you will feel better. The duck leg muffins are distinctive, but they won't make you memorable. The floor is a bit sticky and feels a little uncomfortable. If you go with the mentality of coming purely for the sight, and food is just a foil, then you can come and have a look.
A pretty busy restaurant with a great view and central location. Service was OK and the food was worth trying. So when you are around if you have time you can try. Make sure you have a reservation if you are planning to eat during rush hour :)
The duck and waffle was amazing!! The service was so-so. The view was breathtaking. We had 6:30am breakfast reservation and watched the sun rise! If you don t like heights be ware of the glass elevator!
Absolutely delicious brunch with 360 degree views of central london - what more could anybody ask for? The namesake Duck&Waffle is superb but many other dishes are worth a look too.
