Halal customer view:

Halal customer view:
We booked & went for a 9pm table in summer. Perfect timing as we got to enjoy the views at day, sunset and evening. The views are spectacular, you are not too high up to be able to pin point buildings.

I was a bit sceptical about how good the food would be especially because there isn t much on the menu that for Halal eaters, but whatever we ordered was good. We ordered the Virgin Mojitos and they were great, packed with flavour! Hade the Homemade bread, but asked for extra butter on the side. For Mains we ordered the baked cod for 2 and it was lovely. They sauce is cooked with wine but we asked them to leave it out. As a side, we had the Jersey royals but sadly did not find them special enough to re-order.

We were served by one of the Managers Sebastian. He s customer service was absolutely brilliant and made the whole experience that much better. Lovely experience, I would definitely return.

Not the best place to go if you have allergies even if you have given them advance warning which is a shame. Our waiter was great and did his best to get the kitchen to adapt a few dishes to suit allergy needs

Always has great food all times of the day and night, the waffles are always fresh and taste incredible, the eggs on toast for breakfast are a good choice too. The views are the best you can get while sitting down and eating in London.

I was taken here by my boyfriend as a surprise birthday present. I was really impressed by the glass elevator which takes you to the level the restaurant is on. When I entered the restaurant, i was a little shocked at the ripped and cracked More

Very disappointed by the lies! I called during the afternoon in orde to organize a classy evening with friends combing for a special occasion in London. On the phone I was told that no reservations are needed to enter for the bar. I was also told that food is served 24 hours a day. So we arranged the night and arrived by taxi at the door at 30 minutes passed midnight. Once there, there were at the food 2 un-classy people that told us there was a private event which was obviously not true. The cocky attitude of the man at the door was really annoying. In any case, under the rain we decided no to discuss with this kind of low class people and we arranged to go somewhere else. We highly discourage anyone to go to this place, as your night will be spoiled by their low-class personal of this management! Two thumbs down!

Great place for those who are looking for a late night place that still serves food The restaurant is really nice with great views and is open 24/7. For breakfast, brunch and dinner I'd recommend booking a table in advance There is also a lovely small bar, if you just want to come for a drink or two and enjoy the view. The cocktails are quite nice and reasonably priced for the quality and location. Probably not a place where you would stay all night, as it is rather small, but definitely worth checking it out for a bit.

It is a really nice place, obviously with a great view, but they should improve the way they manage queues. I went there for breakfast, didn't have a lot of choices and lunch/dinner were all booked for the whole month. Staff not really great and poor customer service.

Breath taking views, beautiful food and brilliant service. We went for a business dinner with a client we really wanted to impress and I must say they didn't disappoint. The waiter was super attentive and the sommelier recommended the perfect bottle to accompany - service was swift and seamless, which allowed us to focus on business without distraction. The chicken was to die for. We will definitely be back!

I don't understand the hype; I made a booking 2 months in advance for my husband's birthday brunch (for a Sunday). The service and the food were not on par for the hype. I've had a much better brunch and service experience for a lot less.

For a group of 6, we all arrived on time, and had to wait 15 minutes for our table. Each server is equipped with a headset, but we had to keep waving someone over to see us because the service was so slow. Yes, we did factor in that it was a busy Sunday, but it was significantly poor to the point that we had to start waving at the servers to come over.

Amazing place for a special occasion or date. Plenty of space between tables and attention from the staff.

Delicious dishes with excellent touches of sauces, or texture. Coffee first rate!

Enjoy the views which even though we arrived on a rainy morning, started to clear as breakfast moved on.

Tooopp!

Well known top floor restaurant in the heart of London, a little pricey and the service isn t top noch for the price but you come for the view more than anything else. I really didn t realize that they actually have duck and waffle on the menu, worth the try but not my idea of gourmet

That supervisor was very rude on the 23rd night! It was a bad attitude and I suspect he was racist because I asked for a table near the window, and before we went in the other attendants said let's sit here for five minutes. A waiter told us we could move to a table near the window. So we went to the table and the supervisor, in a very rude manner, told us to go back to the table. Say he runs the place. And said we were wrong to come over, but it was the other waiter who sent us over. I used to eat almost twice a month, and I'm not going to go with my friends anymore.

EDIT: My initial review is based on the terrible service and the attitude the staff gave me because I was 10-15mins late. If there was good food, I would bump up the score.

Pending food review in the coming week.

Awesome food and drinks. We had to wait a long time for our first order of wine as the original waiter seemed to forget about it and disappear, but the other staff fixed the issue right away and took care of us very well. The oxtail doughnut blew us away. Make sure to ask for the cocktail menu as those were definitely the stars of the show for us!

Mixed bag this one. First off, poor service as far getting seated. I booked a table for 9.30pm but wasn't shown to my table until 10pm, far too much of a delay considering it should have been reserved. Then there was the wait for mains which took another 30 mins after starters. However, the actual food I have no complaints about. Obviously very pricey but, even though the service was average, the views, decor, atmosphere and lack of chavs and peasants from the "peaceful community" was worth paying for.
Final thing to note, and this applies to any restaurant, one needs to reconsider whose responsibility is to make sure the diner doesn't eat something against their "religion". I don't think it should be the restaurants responsibility, because that would involve having to assume one's religion based on appearance, which is why I was asked whether a dish including chorizo (pork) would be ok for me to eat. I do not belong to that "peaceful" religion, in fact I'm an atheist, so I always find that assumption sickening but I can't blame anyone for it, and this question is no doubt asked to avoid being accused of the usual "Islamophobia" and impending lawsuits, but it doesn't seem right that this is the accepted norm. Certain people have been given too much importance and power.

The food was great and the ambience with the view was excellent!! However, I ended up getting food poisoning that evening which I believe was due to my meal there. It could've been an unlucky coincidence, where I might have had something dodgey earlier in the day; but my sickness happened a few hours after my meal at Duck and Waffle.

Went here for a friend's birthday. Host staff are very friendly. Restaurant staff are too attentive and pushy when getting you to order. The menu is based around sharing the food as a table. The small plates are definitely only big enough for one person. The veg & waffle isn't under any section on the menu and should go under small plates, as it is only big enough for one. Food is mediocre and expensive. Drinks are expensive too. I don't think I will be going back.

Went here for special occasion drink and meal. Had very unusual Breakfast Fizz and refreshing Pine Needle Lemonade cocktails at the bar. Staff was professional and the view was amazing, obviously. The food was ok for the price, a bit too simple in my opinion. The desert was definitely a highlight of the evening (Baked Alaska), ate it too fast to take a picture!

Denied access for wearing vans (considered sportswear in their eyes) despite seeing several half naked girls coming in with Adidas trainers and tracksuit bottoms. Not the sort of place I'd want to go back to when it is one rule for one, and another rule for others. Stay clear, much nicer establishments in the city centre. The only photo I got was of the doorway but unfortunately the bouncer got in the way.

Amazing views - I recommend to come before sunset, so you can enjoy views of city in light and dark. I usually order here classic dish - dusk&waffle - great value of money.
If you are for dinner - try their bread. They have several types - highly worth. One bread - enough for 2 people.
All tables for 2 people are located near windows, so why it is a bit difficult to book. I suggest to try to book far in advance, or simply keep checking, as there can be cancellations. I booked table for 2 for brunch in the same day.

Food is not bad, but the service is TERRIBLE: waited 25 minutes to be seated (we have reservation), 15 minutes to have someone attend to our table, 25 minutes to serve drinks after food came up. I regret a lot coming to this place!

View across London while eating your food was spectacular. Food portions are small so mix up yiur plates if possible. The salt lamb chops, rib steak, oxcheek donut and octopus were all lovely. But the dish in the house one must have which is a strange combination is duck and waffle...well after the name of the restaurant. Lovely afternoon

Food was decent overall. I thought the duck was great but the waffle tasted like it was from the supermarket. Croquettes were awesome. You re paying more for the view and less for the food. But it s definitely worth visiting at least once.

Great location, good food, great drinks.

HOWEVER! If you turn up without a reservation make sure your dressed appropriately otherwise you'll get turned away.

Excellent "bar"! The view, the food, the drinks - fantastic.
We were there for breakfast, in the evening appropriate clothing is recommended, otherwise they won't let you up. A visit definitely pays off!

Great ambience, but kinda only worth it if you get to seat near the windows (which i think is only tables of 2) for the great view. Their doughnut; a uniqie starter (made with oat cheek) is quite good, but wouldn't suit everyone's tastebuds. The pasta is quite good if you're a vegetarian (or if u dont eat haram meat). Their main duck and waffle is good, too. Good customer service, and Sushi Samba is just a couple floors below if you want to chill at the bar outdoors with a good view.

If you're lucky enough to get in (no trainers policy, don't forget!), this place will blow you away. The bar's atmosphere is amazing and the food in the restaurant is the best. Too bad we were there on a night where it was super foggy, otherwise the view should be fantastic.

Breathtaking views of the city below. Amazing cocktails. Friendly staff.
The bar is on the 40th floor, you will have to take an glass elevator that goes outside the building, keep that in mind if you're afraid of heights

Never thought so duck and muffins can take, then topped with sauce, really delicious world.
Lamb can be medium rare? Really medium rare, pink meat, matched with mint sauce, perfect! Especially mint sauce, it is chopped mint leaves and a little olive oil on Zaiban acetate and would not overpower the flavor of mint, really subvert my taste buds, who said of the British food is not good, than Paris more delicious!
The cattle, the bone marrow, the octopus, the chocolate, and then looked at the night outdoors, I really regret not schedule more than a few days!
I think I've fallen in love London.
