Great service I went for my annoversary and the food was lovely. Just be weary that portion sizes are on the smaller side.

Venue is lovely, food is good, but the lift going up is scary having no where to look that isn't moving

Christmas aside to duck and waffles. Reserved at 16: 45uur. When we got there we had to wait our table was ready at the bar for about 10 minutes would take unfortunately this was 45 minutes. Excuse was offered it took longer. We picked our courses, the main course would come after the starter but there was was no main course but dessert. We approached someone about it who did not tidy and offered again excuse. Dessert was removed entree was coming .. We thought like fine luxury food on Christmas Day in London. But I recommend this one during Christmas. You noticed it was too busy for the staff. We really paid a lot of money and this I thought it was totally worth it! Too bad not a good first impression. I do not come here again! Location for the rest really great, beautiful view!

Busy restaurant for waiting 20min to order and 30min to check the bill , i order duck and waffle, waffle was good but the duck taste over cook , and not even juicy , if you just come here for the view , the window was dirty can not see clearly view to outside , very disappointed and not recommended

Food is overrated, was like pub food plated well. Each element of the duck and waffle dish was nice, but together it wasn't as stellar as what people made it out to be.
Service was horrendous, could have been because the restaurant was insanely loud like a nightclub

Expensive & probably only worth going once for the experience. However it is worth it for the experience all said. The view is great (despite me visiting in a fog storm), the service is great, the food is tasty and the atmosphere was really strange & unique. We had to reserve a table with a bit of notice and could only grab a super early table like 7am. Before Covid-19 times, it had 24/7 opening hours which meant there were early birds like us just awake rubbing shoulders with people who were either taking a break from a long night out or getting a meal before heading home.

12.5% service charge but the service is not good. The manager is very unfriendly and impolite. Overall the duck is gd while the waffle is normal. I think the HK Duck and Waffle view is better than london one.

Very cool place, not as expensive as I thought. The food is very good and the view is amazing! The staff is very professional and caring about allergies and intolerances.

Certainly not the cheapest place but thoroughly enjoyed it. My 2 friends and I are all vegetarians so we ordered all the vegi options. It was like a party in my mouth. If I lived nearer London I'd come here a lot more.

Original food, great view. A good choice to impress a visitor (eg your parents). Need to book ages in advance tough! (Seriously, booking opens 2 months ago, I forgot on the start day and almost couldn t get a spot). Meal will be pricey or not depending what you order, so I feel it s good value for money!

I wanted to surprise my bf and take him to watch the sunrise while having a nice breakfast on an saturday morning and found Duck&waffle to be a great option. On Wednesday night I called to make a reservation for saturday at 04:30 am but the lady on the phone told me they could only take reservations for either 3am or 6am. Since it was too early or to late, she told me I could easily just walk in that being just fine, repeating it like 3 times for me as I was planning something special. So I woke my bf up at 3:30am telling him that this early morning sacrifice was going to be well rewarded. Unfortunately when we arrived, the staff told us (rudely i would even say) that the restaurant was fully booked and our only option was to wait 6am... it was 4:30! I understand that the restaurant might have been busy, there is nothing I can do about that, but the lady who told me I could just walk in should have never gave me false hopes, especially since i was trying to plan a nice moment for my loved one.... I was so disappointed that i cried. Really bad experience.

Reservations must be in the restaurant for a month. If your value is not worth it, everyone will be different. But the atmosphere is more than worthwhile. There is a type of male in the underground entrance to control your positioning name 9 and time. Only let people go up. Watching the night view from the elevator is the focus of this visit. Others can be ignored. Food standards. I dare not criticize. But the service level needs to be improved. Order no drinks and desserts. When you have finished eating, you can put down your bills and suggest that you have to leave. Don't worry, most of the restaurants in London are on the guest's desk when they finish the meal. But the attitude is not like this. . . .

Excellent venue with London views. Broad wine list with many accessible options. Pity the construction next door obstructs some view. Novel cocktail bar design. Dishes can be very rich.

Very enjoyable! Besides the awesome view, the food was very tasty, I expect not the best from rooftop restaurants, you normally pay for the view rather than for the quality of the dishes but in this case I have to say I definitely enjoyed everything. Also, the place itself is nice and the staff kind.
I recommend a go, I'll certainly come back again.

Behavior and the attitude of the security downstairs is absolutely unacceptable! There is no need to be rude and sushing people outside that made reservation for the restaurant two months before. It is open to public. We will take our dollars elsewhere where we feel appreciated, not tolerated.

I was able to make a reservation the night before we came which I was surprised as it is usually booked. I came here with my cousins for an early breakfast. I had the toffee apple waffles which were amazing, but was surprised to see the small portion served as I still felt a bit peckish afterwards. We booked the right time as we got to see the sun begin to rise over London as we ate.

Amazing view and delicious breakfast. Very popular, so also fairly difficult to get a decent time slot for a reservation, but if you're planning well in advance this is definitely worth visiting.

Amazing breakfast in a Sunday morning with my family! A warm welcome and a smiling staff there. And the view... We saw the sunrise, it was wonderful. Probably a bit expensive comparing to other restaurants, but it's really worth it! Hope to go back one day.

They got pretty decent view, should be bigger the restaurant and bar and my observation is overpriced...

The Duck & Waffle signature dish was amazing. We also had octopus, very different and tasty, not that spicy. Highly recommended to anyone who likes octopus.

It's a duck leg on a waffle. It was tasty, but after all the rave reviews I was a little disappointed. Really didn't enjoy the bone marrow cocktail I ordered either. Great location though.

Located on the 40th floor of central London, nice night view, restaurant is a must-reserved (recommended for food), and light beer and finger food on the same floor.

Great food and views but service slow and not very slick

Great views, very average service, cocktails are very weak, and when we complained about it staff were very dissmissive. Not very attentive servers. We went for a birthday brunch, food was just okay, quite small portions
I think that for the views the price is about right but if you want quality food and a nice dining experience I would go elsewhere!

First time here Sunday for my boyfriends birthday, absolutely stunning, great service and not your average menu! And of course those views, loved the whole experience

About what you'd expect from a mid-high end restaurant. Food mostly excellent including the oysters which were some of the best we've ever had. Service pretty great and observable Covid sanitisation procedures in place. Would have preferred a slightly darker ambience but overall a good choice for a birthday or anniversary.

The food is to die for and the view is one of the best in London. Not cheap, but worth it.

We r 4 Asian wearing decent outfit with trainers(so bad I can't attach pictures in this comment, it's was two Yeezy boots,one Chanel flat shoe , one Balenciaga boots )
And they refused us to have dinner here because we were wearing trainers.
We stand outside for 10 minutes , one lovely family with Nike trainers come out. A couple , man wearing blue sport shoes , girl wearing black flat shoes walk out.
I go to the reception and tell them that we saw people also wearing trainers walk out of the restaurant, and they just say how about u guys go back home and get changed??????????????
So in conclusion.Plz do not come to Duck & waffles if u r not white, it's will just be disappointed.

We went there for brunch at the end of February. I booked well in advance for a table of 4, but we still needed to wait for it. While we didn t' mind waiting on the outside bar area, we were not impressed with the overall service. Once we were given our table no one collected our coats (they were collecting them only from some clients). The first server took a long time taking our order. The food lacked the wow factor and the portions were way smaller than expected. We had 2 dished each (a savoury and a sweet one) and we did not feel full afterwards (considering we are light eaters that was a first).
For the second part of our meal (the sweet dishes) we were served by another person and I have to mention that this waiter was nice and attentive and made us feel less rushed than the first one.
Overall I would say that we were curious to visit this place and while the view is beautiful, the food and service were not up to the standard.

The place was brilliant, the service, the staff, the people. It was a relaxing environment, great from with family and friends, also couples. The food menu is very good.

My first visit to Duck and Waffle. Socially distanced dining with amazing views of London. We enjoyed the ox cheek doughnut, confit duck leg and waffle, and duck Benedict. All totally delicious!!

Super nice view of London skyline. The brunch is very good and the staff is very competent.

Yummy food, friendly staff and spectacular views, at a really very reasonable price. I loved the fact you could pick and choose a few dishes to share, tapas style, as they were all very rich dishes and might have been a bit heavy in larger portions. A minor complaint was slightly overcooked scallops but other than that the duck and waffle was delicious, bacon wrapped dates as tasty as anything and for pudding a mint baked Alaska that I would go back for alone.

It's best to make a reservation first, because you are already in line at 9:30 am on weekdays;
Go to the entrance on the right hand side of the building and take the elevator to the 40th floor.
Check the bags before taking the elevator. Do not bring water to drink.
Check at the checkout, right, I ordered the wrong drink, and the roasted duck skin is crispy and delicious

Was there for a group meal 9+,and had the sharing menu. Food was lovely, but about twice as much as we needed for our party of people (and we're not small eaters). Good view spoilt by condensation on the windows.

A good place to catch a sunrise or sunset with a nice view of the city. Breakfast menu is good. Fairly well priced for the quality as well. Drinks (including non alcoholic) are expensive. For the price of a tea I'd expect loose leaf and not one single bag for a whole pot. Service was mixed. One very bad - wrong orders and missed items - the other very good - resolution of the other's mess!

Great views of London especially at night. The staff was great and attentive taking pictures and providing advice on the order. The chicken was very tasty so much so my guests stopped their moaning about the wait (over 45min which the waiter did advice us of before the order) after a couple of mouth ful.

Easy 5 stars for this breakfast. Everything was delicious. Very pleasant, casual atmosphere and some of the best views of London!

Good for a romantic evening to show off your (and to your) beautiful partner. Although a trip to sushisamba one floor down might make more sense.

Versatile: equally appropriate for conspicuous consumption or a late night snack after a night out.

For some reason, it reminds me of the bit in Dorian Gray where he suavely swans about at splendid parties but can no longer feel anything.

Duck and waffle is great. Maybe we were a little under dressed... And maybe it was a little weird that we had our backpacks with us (we were just headed to the train), but they were accommodating and we're able to get us in even without a reservation. (In hind sight, we should have made a reservation) The kind wait staff made us comfortable in the bar area before we went to the main restaurant with some water, coffee, and pastries (all of which were well done). Our main food was homey but still kind of gormet for breakfast. The beans were done just right and not too salty or over spiced. Almost everything in the English breakfast was full of flavor and worth every penny.

Beautiful location... Great service, drinks and food with a scenic view. Had the duck and waffle and lamb and they were just delicious.

Duck & Waffle is very well known for tourists. Pricey but worth to try once in a lifetime. Accidentally showing up at the restaurant might not possible to get seats as you need to book online in advance.

We loved our experience at Duck & Waffle! While it did take awhile to secure a table, we were happy to hear the staff say they could store our luggage, as we chose this location for their 24/7 hours on a long layover at Heathrow. I thoroughly enjoyed my Pine Tree Lemonade and every single bite of my Duck & Waffle. Service was attentive and friendly and the view was amazing, of course! Highly recommended!

Fantastic view. You go up in a small elevator to the right of the main entrance. A special menu, everything tastes good. Very staff and they were good but it was still wrong, we were three people and one did not get their food until much later. Error on receipt etc.

It may sound like it would be an odd combination but it was a delightful afternoon
