I had brunch here 5-6 times and I must say the place is special with its astounding view over the city. The food is fun and good, coffee was very weak each time. Service is mostly professional.

Went here for my girlfriends birthday, food atmosphere was amazing and our waiter Dan helped make the evening an amazing experience.. Will be returning

Visited the bar area for a drink post dinner. Nice views, well made cocktails, friendly staffs, very good bar for chilling. Try their BBQ salted crispy pig ears, best sides for any drinks.
Delicious food and warm, friendly service with a stunning view of North and East London. The atmosphere is muchol more laid back than I was expecting for somewhere so prestigious. The dress code says smart casual but there were many people in t-shirts and trainers. I was a little disappointed by this as I was there for a celebratory meal and it took some of the shine off to have a table of super casual tourists sat next to us with noisy children. Still, the food, cocktails and lovely staff made up for it. I'll definitely be going again. Maybe for the famous breakfast...
I really enjoyed the view. Although the meal was rather small, I did enjoy the duck and waffle. The duck was cooked well and the waffle tasted amazing especially with the maple syrup.
We had a reservation today at 6:15 pm. And there were at 18.00 clock, about the service and the ambience can be argued in any case, both were unique. The food was also very good quality and was pleasantly full. Correspondingly, the price, which moves more in the upper segment and therefore leads to a point, was formed.
Definitely not a restaurant that you can visit once a week, but to enjoy a unique memorable meal just right!
Amazing 24 hour dining experience-reservation mandatory
Terrible pasta. I thought it was maybe a one off thing but went again and a friend orded it and did not like it either. Duck and waffle was good though!
Drinks were bad and the Indian chickpea dish was way too salty. However, the duck and waffle dish, the service and the overall experience was good, so I would still recommend people to try it out.
Always a good brekkie at D&W. Recommend the Ox Cheek Benedict.
I'm going to go as far as saying - This is my favourite restaurant in the world!
Food is awesome but one of the server seems not enjoying his job
Absolutely incredible. Get the Duck and Waffle you will thank me!!!
amazing meal and staff look after you well. surprisingly good value for central London too
Screw this, I'm Brazilian and I'm going to write this in Portuguese. The place is great, the view is great, and the price is a bit salty. It is a GREAT EXPERIENCE, but the food itself, though different, did not catch my attention so much that I want to return.
Amazing night views of London. Good food. Very nice spirits.
Amazing breakfast and an amazing view.
Duck and Waffle is truly one of London's gems with a great classy atmosphere and innovative menu.
Two stars - one for the friendly service and the other for the coffee. The food was terrible. I had the duck egg concotte and it came to the table hard and dry and all you could taste was truffle. Not worth the price and we won't be rushing back. Especially as you get only one hour to eat and then vacate your table.
Stunning vista. Visiting from the states so I had to try the eponymous duck & waffle dish (was not disappointed). You need to make a reservation quite far in advance to swing a meal here, but it's worth it. Only as overpriced as you would expect, but the cityscape and presentation of the food compensate for that tenfold.
Amazing food. Can t recommend enough. The location has almost as amazing views. Good alternative to see the city.
I went for brunch on a Saturday with some friends visiting London. Nice environment with very well trained staff. It's pricey but you pay for the spectacular views and service. The English breakfast is filling and good quality.
A very disappointing experience... arrived for breakfast on a Sunday morning. After a 20 minute wait for the table we had booked, service was slow and disorganised. The food was average - nothing special at all. The decor looks tired and is ready for a complete overhaul. Dont expect to come here for a special experience.
Had breakfast here for my birthday and it was perfect
Great view over London at night. Lots of people taking selfies though trying to get that Instagram life
I'm sure it's great if you think a place is with making reservations a month in advance. That's pretty dumb... and btw it's chicken and waffles....get it right. Ducks are far too personable and there are way too many lovable duck characters.... Chickens, well who cares about any chickens....
Most recent visit was for some extremely indulgent post-pub Sunday snacks. Wasn't kept waiting or disappointed.
Good dining, delicious food, good service, beautiful scenery, make an appointment in advance, formal dressing, staff downstairs will confirm clothing and shoes, sneakers and sandals will never get in, we hurried to buy two new pairs of shoes To be able to dine smoothly.
I would recommend to everyone who loves waffles. Best in town and the view is amazing.
Honestly, I have to say I was a bit let down by the menu. The views at this place are spectacular. However, for a place that has so much hype it does little to go beyond the fact that sits on the 40th floor. The food pairings are decidedly average and even the duck and waffle which is there a signature dish was really mediocre.
They have got a great spirits and alcohol menu so that does makeup for it a little however, I was left a little bit disappointed after a leaving this one.
Absolutely stunning space - ride the super-fast elevator up 40 floors and you're rewarded with one of the best London-wide views there is. The menu here's nicely decadent, with an especial recommendation for the heavy, rich, fantastic duck & waffle itself. Not the kind of place you'd pop into quickly but, for those after a special brunch or late night meal out, it'd be hard to top here.
Beware - if you are traveling from out of the country and put your electronics away to enjoy your trip - this location requires that you confirm their email 24 hours prior to your reservation. Even though when you make your reservation, they require a credit card which will be charged if you do not attend. That being said, the day of our reservation, I logged on to confirm the address only to see that our reservation had been canceled. I called and explained the situation and only when I began to express my frustration was I told that we could be squeezed in at 9:30 pm rather than 10:00 pm which was fine. Upon arrival we went up the elevator and were shown to the bar where we waited for approximately 1 hour before they actually called us to our table. Now, if someone wants to enjoy the bar, that is one thing, but we came to eat and felt frustrated by the wait. While waiting the hostess admitted two groups which because of the loud music in the bar had to speak loudly and said "no, we do not have a reservation." This swanky restaurant with great reviews that is always booked and has so many rules like reservations at 22:00
"The table has a return time of 23:30 at which point we invite you to extend your experience at our bar area." was letting people in without reservations. By the time we were shown to our table, we could see why. The restaurant was by no means full - not even close. The service was haughty for no reason at all. The food was overpriced and so hard to find anything other than duck and waffle that wasn't yuck and awful. The view was nothing new and the ambiance of the restaurant loud - the kitchen is open to the dining area and we could hear the chef barking orders at her staff. We ordered the duck and waffle - it was not bad. the JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE RAVIOLI (v)19 was awful and the We fell for and ordered the freshly baked HOUSE BREAD, SPICED BUTTER & SEA SALT (v)6 bread (how can you go wrong with that?) it turned out to be a glorified, heated pita bread. The waiter said, "let me cut that for you because I am standing up." (uh what?) The puffed bread deflated into the pita bread that is was and we just had to laugh. The waiter did not find that amusing. To me this restaurant was a simple case of the The Emperor's New Clothes. They have created a hype without the product and though some people might enjoy that (hence the reviews) we found it to be an annoying and a a terrible waste of a meal while on vacation discovering London. I would not recommend this establishment.
Nice restaurant, good ingredients and fabulous views. Some windows are dusty and blur, so at certain seats you cannot see the outside clearly.
It s pricey , awful cocktails , slow service and grumpy staff . Main meal same size as a starter portion .
Went there Sunday night / Monday morning between to 12:30 am & 1am or so first impression wasn t good as few people got rejected at the door for wearing trainers and casual wear & Secuirty made fun of them too which was shocking .
We went upstairs and got seated in 4 chairs table for 4 people though we were 2 in the middle of the restaurant. We requested to go to the more comfortable seats & the lady said all the tables are reserved though the restaurant was almost empty & few people were there . She left us saying she will check & she never returned.
We asked another waiter & he said he will ask a manager ! Manger comes saying NO we can t change unless those few people whom are there leave their tables & we can go there .
It s crazy the place was empty and we were there for an hour & half and no body came to those tables !! All lies !
Service was so slow , waiters are grumpy & miserable. I ordered cocktail & asked for a straw , the waiter never came back & disappears. I asked again another one and he took over 10 minutes to bring one .i asked the waiter for what he would recommend he keeps giggling & giving me sarcastic look like ( just order something & he got no time face rushing me ) I had duck& waffle dish it was tiny like starter portion . I was stilll hungry . Place is too pricey and cocktails are bad . I ordered Long Island ice tea at the bar & it was white colour & hardly any alcohol on it . My friend ordered another cocktail that stank & was awful.
Their bar got funny style open in the middle of that floor & all what the staff were doing is chatting to each other & checking phones& laughing . No body pay attention to people there . So the staff none friendly late night or what !! Looks like late night staff don t bother about customers!!
To get someone attention was hard .
I don t think it s even worth a star !! Wish I went to Macdolnads instead at least I won t leave hungry and disappointed as I know what I will get !!
Service charge was a lot too !!
Beautiful view and a great place to take any visiting friends, bookins essential. The duck and waffle was good but perhaps not good value, especially as my overriding memory of my experience was the elevator ride up and down.
We ordered rosemary garlic bread, pork ear fires and roast chicken. All of them are super tasty. Especially the chicken with the mustard sauce. Will order it again next time!!
Drink prices are expensive because of the view and the clientele, I'd def go again
If you are looking for a really fun dinner late night this is the spot. Great view. Good food.
Views were indeed stunning, food was good, service was poor. Waiter did not engage and when he poured water for us, water splashed everywhere outside the glass onto the table. No apologies offered, waiter just walked away.
Yummy duck on the 40th floor with caring staff and very tasty.
Awesome place, a place with a view very few restaurants can boast of! Tasty food (do try the waffles) too!
Great place a bit pricey but its 24hr so you can go whenever
Stunning views and great food - a great place for a special night. Cocktails were stunning as well. Had to book months in advance to get a dinner time booking, but worth the wait.
Had brunch here which was good but maybe not worth the hype. A definite must-do however
Very very disappointed...with your service and the food .totally worthless
One of the great annoyances of what was otherwise a lovely foodie London trip!
Perhaps we should have went to Duck & Waffle Local instead, or we were just deeply unlucky but we tried 2 times to get a table at this 24-hours place and failed. Maybe it's part of the process and you can afford to make your guests jump through hoops when you're this hyped but having to go past a doorman, up 40 floors then find the hostess desk to hear the verdict as a walk-in if you are blessed enough to get a table or not from the not very bothered staff got too tedious for us in the end. There are also two periods in the day iirc where there will be no food served for around 30 mins. Our bad luck to hit that period in the 1st try! And the other time past midnight on a Friday came with 45 mins wait time.
The views are admittedly very impressive and it is probably a good/pricey meal but walk-ins better think twice, book in advance only.
Great experience, superb views, efficient and courteous service. However the "all day" menu unavailable at breakfast.
I was finally able to get a booking at Duck & Waffle and brought my out of town guests as a treat! Luckily the weather gods smiled on us and it was a clear day to enjoy the amazing views. We went midday on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the brunch. We had the pig ear starter that was delicious - crunchy salty and sweet! My dining companions all had the ox cheek benedict which they raved about. I had to have to duck and waffle which was divine! We had a great experience and I will definitely be bringing my next set of guests as a good excuse to return!
Gorgeous views, nice food. Overall nice experience.
Booked online the night before and got sat 5 minutes before the booking time. Restaurant staff very courteous and prompt in order taking and food delivery. Duck and Waffle was excellent, as was the cappuccino. Views gorgeous.
It is my first time trying savoury waffles with duck meat. The place didn't disappoint me. All ingredients go well together. The egg yolk mixed with duck meat, hollandaise sauce and waffles, perfect.
Just glorious. Go for the view and the ambiance (and that lift!). Go back for the food.
Excellent view and great breakfast. Bread a bit tough but the rest was perfect.
Very nice decor
food was delicious
Must try
Fabulous! The views are fantastic, food and drink faultless and lovely service. It's not the cheapest but excellent value and nice for a special treat.
Food is perfection and very good value for money for a high end restaurant!
Plan ahead and get reservations. We made it to the top of the building and that was enjoyable on the exterior elevator. Looks like a good place
A good experience to do at least once. The food was good, as was the service, and the views are amazing.
Spectacular view, great service and incredible food. 26k
a great spot for breakfast as it's reasonably priced. However i put in multiple requests for a window seat upon booking which i was told cannot be guaranteed which is fair enough but then upon arrival we were seated in the middle and there were two empty tables if not more around the windows, which weren't occupied at all during our visit. This was a little disappointing.
After a whoosh to the top in the glass lift you certainly are treated to fab views from this restaurant. Such friendly staff offering outstanding service. Great food too. Was there for breakfast and was busy. Pre booking essential. Would go back for a special dinner. The bar looks pretty cool too. Definitely in my top 10 of London places to go to.
Been here a few times and it's definitely worth it! Staff, food and view are incredible
The duck and duck egg is good, the waffle is dry and hard. Lady who served my table black face all the time. I don't recommend this place really to book over weeks in advanced. Except the view is awesome.
If I could eat Duck & Waffle every day for the rest of my life, I might consider it. This signature dish is absolutely delicious. The staff are great and the service is impeccable. The views are spectacular, especially from the glass elevator! Pop down to the Sushi Samba terrace for a coffee after your meal. A must-visit and a must-book-in-advance!

Made a reservation with my pregnant wife for our anniversary.
Arrived and checked for reservation with host #1 told us to wait for our table to be ready . AmWaited for 1 hour for our table went and check, only to be told by the host that they didn t have our booking the host also told us that we needed to have an email that says our reservation was confirmed . She was trying to cover up her mistakes by lying as she probably gave our table to someone else and wanted us to leave . Requested to speak to the manager he came and said he couldn t do anything as we missed our reservation ( someone else took our tables which a mistakes by the liar who said we didn t have bookings and obviously needed an email confirmation) . Manager offered my 7 months pregnant a business card so we could write a complaint . Obviously duck and waffle didn t care as they are busy with tourist .
Ended up leaving hungry and went to another place.
Very disappointed.
Fantastic, out of this world. The food, service and waiters were superb.
