A good bar and restaurant with definitely some air conditioning problems. Menu is limited but offers enough choice. Duck and waffle dish is so sweet to eat. It is also pricey but the location and bird's eye view of London is impressive.

Hot shops in London Even though it is always open but must be booked to eat Plus, if not booked in advance, there will be only a strange time. The absolute menu is Duck & Waffle, Ribeye Steak, Mussel. Saw the view of London because it was very high

We went there at 2pm and they had no tables in the restaurant. So we got some snacks and a drink in the bar. The nduja bread was too greasy to my taste but the chick pea dip and the dessert waffle were delicious. It was rather expensive but of course you pay for the view which is amazing.

His strong point is the wonderful location. The experience begins when you enter the panoramic lift starting from the ground floor and continue the moment you sit at the table. A minus point is the food but don't book here for this, they are those times when you have to give priority to the eyes rather than the stomach. Absolutely to go but remember to book in advance, even for more than a month.

Duck & Waffle is one of the best restaurants around and it could be expected - there is a breathtaking view of whole London. The food they offer is great and most importantly, not so pricey. The service is first class and the staff will always make you feel great. Book your table in advance to avoid disappointment.

CHECK OUT THE VIEW ! Both the food and service was excellent and we will certainly eat there again when we travel to London again. I recommend booking ahead - we were walk in's and waited around 30 min. The menu was fairly priced in comparison to other venues across London - I was expecting it to be far more. Recommend a dish that includes waffles ... don't just get an English breakfast :) The staff are used to people taking photos of the view. The ride in the lift gives you a beautiful vista of London also.

Went here for the 5am sitting at the end of a night out - the food wasn't fantastic given the price, and the staff were pretty much hoovering around our feet. Can't complain too much though, definitely superior to the Chicken Shish I would've got otherwise.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at Duck and Waffle.

My parents booked a table to celebrate an engagement and as my father is disabled asked to sit at a specific table. The reservations team said this was no problem and just to be sure we rang up the day before and were told it was all done.

When we arrived we were sat at a different table and told that we could not sit at the table we had reserved as his wheelchair "would not fit" (this was not true but just an excuse as we later found out the table had been given to other people).

Unfortunately the table was not suitable for my dad and in turn ruined the evening and made for a unpleasant experience.

I understand that mistakes happen and so wrote an email to explain our disappointment and was called back with an apology and offered a complimentary bottle of house champagne the next time I booked a table.

Duck and Waffle is not a cheap restaurant and so I am begrudged to go back and spend more money with them in order to be compensated for their mistake.

Amazing lift to the top gifting tremendous views of the city. At the top, the views are incredible across the gerkin, cheese grater, City, St Paul's and further. Food is incredible, better than Sushi Samba imho. If you get a chance then try the private dining experience as that is a really good room for hosting. The cocktails are really good too!!

The hostess Friday night/ Saturday morning was extremely rude. I was stunned and embarrassed they way she talked to my wife and I. Visiting London this was our first awful experience. We will never come here and recommend no one to ever go here. Hopefully management will ether educate their staff to be tolerant of all people.

A bit disappointing: the venue is quite small and worn down, the food is average in terms of ingredients and presentation, the staff are very nice, but would be great if a better training was provided. There are better places in London for whatever meal you intend to have there...

Duck and Waffle is a great place, fantastic views of the city and it's open 24/7. All breads are freshly baked and that's fantastic. The Lamb Keema is definitely a must try. The Duck Waffle is really good, I got really lucky with the duck leg portion and it's usually a decent size. Big plates can be shared by 2-3 people. The staff is really amazing, funny and friendly. Drinks are good too. If you order a coke, the glass comes full of ice, you can ask them for fewer cubes though, they should probably serve less cubes in the glass. Desert is great! If you're a group try different desserts so you can try a bit of all, as all desserts here should be ordered and consumed at least once.

We tried to come for breakfast at around 4 30 am but we were told we couldn't be seated and the staff refused to give us a waiting time and were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. It was really a shame for us because we are also working in hospitalty and we came from Soho just for breakfast. Definitely not worth it.

Really good duck. Order the duck and waffle if it's your first time. Their breakfast menu doesn't have as many varied choices as the lunch so going for that may be a more interesting dining experience.

Great location, good food, but customer service is atrocious. If you enjoy being treated with contempt and condescended to while dining, this is the place to be. Ground floor is manned with 2 staff, both equipped with equally rude customer service (one barely spoke English). We managed to get to the 40th floor with difficulty. Again, the person at reception ignored our request for a table. We waited for 15 mins so I stormed over and demanded that we get a table. I was told that our first request for a table was not acknowledged, however, I was immediately given one. The staff inside the actual restaurant are nice and friendly. Please educate or hire better staff. Most people go to restaurant for an experience rather than the food itself.

The place is very high and overlooks the most noisy places in London's "skyscrapers area" Liverpool Station I think. I have not tried eating here, as the place is noisy and mainly offers alcoholic drinks which made me not to dine here. The beautiful place is the height and views of the glass elevator outside where you can see the entire area. This allows you to take some pictures from the elevator and from the top.

Unfortunately I come away with the impression that it is indeed purely a tourist trap. Wonderful view, however the 13.5% service charge is questionable, the food more akin to a overpriced greasy spoon than an classy brunch that left my friend and I both feeling ill due to its rich oilyness (which overpowered all other flavour potential), wait staff who forgot about our drinks, promptly asking us to vacate our table once it was clear we were struggling with our meal and then forgetting to bring the bill. One staff member did know what they were doing and provided a free drink at the bar, but overall I was left feeling extremely embarrassed and dissapointed as it was meant to be a special occasion for a friend in town from overseas, to show her the best of London.

Went on a recent Sunday night and the duck and waffle was pretty good. I feel given the portion size you get a good bang for your buck. The hosts and hostesses were very friendly and accommodating however, the dinning room manager who took care of our bill was highly rude. So much so that next time I'd try to get it as take out or avoid going on the weekends.

Tables are quite cramped and most people dressed very casual which was surprising. From the lift you have to walk through a corridor passed the toilets to get the impressive bar and restaurant. Views were ok - only thing that stood out was close-by Gherkin. The small plates were quite tasty especially the scallops with lemongrass. The ox cheek donut was interesting. I enjoyed the dates wrapped in bacon too. Everything was on the expensive side of course. It was all a bit more casual than I was expecting which made it less special.

The absolute best place in the city to watch the sun rise, accompanied by some delicious breakfast. The waffles are great, as is the duck egg en cocotte. Hot chocolate is also very good.

We walked in with ten people, while I understand ten people are sometimes difficult to accommodate, the host called up to see if he could. He was told no. Being that this place had great reviews we asked to split up to two groups of five. Without even asking, the host said no. Not " it'll be a 20 minute wait" or " we don't have anything available at this second" he literally told us no. Seems like they had no interest in serving this morning. This was late breakfast on a Tuesday morning which is usually not busy.

I am giving one star for the out of this world view. It was all down hill from there though. We were made to wait for 30mins in the bar area where I ordered the most expensive drink of my life. I wouldn't have minded so much if it hadn't More

Terrible service, Rude and unprofessional staff. I thought maybe the food would be worth it. Ha ha you got me. You figure with a name of Duck and Waffle you would know how to make waffles. No flavor in the waffle whatsoever. Shall I send you a box of bisquick from the US? Learn how to make the staple in your name. You got the making it look pretty part down but taste not so much.

We go to the bar, service a bit long but the view at night is really beautiful (40th floor). The staff were really helpful including a security guard at the bottom of the building by the name of Adam who helped us find our way my friend and I otherwise ration our bus back. I recommend !

I found duck egg en cocotte very good. The dish is a bit too salty and it may be better for sharing. Greek Yoghurt with honey bee comb is excellent. The yoghurt has perfect texture together with smooth and subtle sweetness from honey make it a must try.

Food was nice. Service at the beginning was atrocious (it improved slightly towards the end of our meal). We were a small group of people of colour and it was very clear from the beginning that our waiter was disinterested in providing a good service - he was rude, aggressive and short tempered when we were ordering- note that he wasn t so rude to other guests. I would urge caution to people of colour - it did not feel like a safe or welcoming environment at all. I would certainly not visit again. I think the members of staff would benefit from some training in this respect! Hopefully our experience was a one off experience but it doesn t seem like it!

Waited 30 minutes for a table (with a reservation) then another 30 minutes for food...There were others equally unhappy about the wait!
The food is amazing, but the service is terrible. If you accept bookings, you should have less walk ins so you don't make people wait...

There are requirements for the installation, but in reality the environment is very noisy and there is no need for so-called dress. The dishes are real and not recommended. The scenery on the 40th floor is completely invisible without being arranged to the bedside. It is actually a gimmick.

We have called last night to book a table for this afternoon. The person who booked the table made an error and booked it for the same day instead (they booked it for a passed time on the same day). We didn't notice and when we went there everyone insisted it was our fault and was quite rude. At the end they did us "a favour" and let us have a table which they needed back in an hour. The food wasn't anything special and overpriced. The waffles were dry and the duck was tasteless. The only good thing about the place was the view.

I had an amazing brunch experience on a sunday. If you are planning an occasion then i would highly recommend as the food is quite reasonable with great quality. The veg risotto, house bread and chickpeas eggs was very very delicious. If you are in London and craving for a good brunch with an amazing view then this is the place. Make sure you book at least 2 weeks in advance and ask for a table next to the window. The staff was very jolly and helpful to help us accommodate a window table.

The plus: the view, the fast service

The plus: the view, the fast service

What should be improved:
* no oat milk (unusual for London)

* 13.5% service charge (table of 2) is quite high, especially when the waiter messed up the coffee order twice, and unlike other restaurants with views in London, they won't take your coat.

Never used to be a fan of sweet-savoury combinations, but this famed dish was quite a game-changer, and certainly lived up to its reputation. Service was appropriate, coffee was good, and the while it's pricey, we are definitely paying for the stunning views

Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here. The staff were refreshingly friendly and kind. They were smiling and knowledgable as well as approachable. The food was amazing, a tapas style food and the waiter guided us to the perfect combination of dishes. The music and ambience was lovely, and if you can make sure you get there for a sunset it is outstanding. But also this place is 24hrs, how great is that?!!!

After hearing so much about this place, I was ecstatic to visit.
On the 40th floor of a high rise in the London financial district, the restaurant has panaromic views of the city. We attended for Saturday brunch but I assume the sunrise and late night views would be better.
My partner and I were offered a window seat which we were happy to accept. The service team was exceptional from start to finish. Every member knew the intricacies of the menu very well and were not shy to offer their recommendations but without being too aggressive.
The bartender has concocted a masterpiece of a mocktail for my partner and I, no justice would be served from attempting to explain what it was so you'll have to see the photos for proof - but it was extraordinary.
We ordered the duck benedict and the duck and waffle. Both dishes were so good that my girlfriend and I had to share them to appreciate both variations of the taste. We both agreed that this was, in fact, in the list of top 3 ducks of all time anywhere.
As a dessert, we opted for a lemon meringue waffle which was a fitting end to our meal.

Extremely expensive for what it is. The meal sucks and we were served a wine which had taken a bit of heat. The view .... Bof! Especially a view of construction sites. Not very glamorous. We had to insist on getting angry so that we could change this wine with the apologies of the sommelier. Go see the view elsewhere and eat anything else it is better and much cheaper.
