I'm very disgusted by the way I was spoken to and treated by the older gentlemen that works there who handles contracts and paperwork with vendors when I was 38 weeks pregnant photographing a wedding.

I'm a professional photographer and I've worked here multiple times. I do not necessarily agree with their liability waiver, so I've never signed it; again I have worked there multiple times for private weddings and NEVER had any issues with not signing this waiver. I carry my own form of insurance for my equipment only, as I do not agree with venues piggy backing off of liability insurances of their vendors or requiring us to waive our rights if something happens, so I never sign any waiver no matter the venue. This has never been an issue with any property or event as I am respectful of all properties and people during my work.

As someone who hosts special events which posess anywhere from a few hundred to a thousand people I understand most special event general liability insurance policies and how they work. Thus being said I always recommend that my clients purchase their own special event general liability insurance for their weddings that additionally covers certain aspects of their vendors working for them. Which should satisfy the venues insurance and liability concerns for outside vendors. It should not be the vendors responsibility to provide required additional general liability insurance for the venue to piggy back off of.

Regardless, after never signing this waiver of my rights and after multiple times of working there, for some odd reason this last time I was there this older gentlemen hunted me down and scolded me for refusing to sign the waiver.

Now from working with many legal teams for special events I've gained the trait of not signing paperwork the day of an event I'm working as due to peer pressure. When firstly approached by this older gentleman I was asked if I had recieved the paperwork. In all honesty I had not, but from previous experience from working there I immediately knew what he was asking about. I honestly answered and said that I did not recieve any paperwork this time around. The gentleman than handed me a paper and told me to sign it. I explained to him that I do not sign paperwork the day of an event, especially not when I am on the job. He attempted to blackmail me stating that he was going to throw me off the property midway through my client's wedding, so I said politely to the man once more that I was not comfortable with signing the paperwork and that I wouldn't sign it due to me being on the job and it being the day of. I walked across the room and the man followed me attempting to push me into signing something I already declined. I passively ignored the man's actions as I have anxiety with men acting how he was. I have been abused by men who acted like him, so I did my best to avoid him. I finally walked directly over to my assistant and explained what was happening and how the man was making me feel incredibly uncomfortable as I was only a week away from having a baby and he wasn't accepting my declination as to the circumstances. As I was speaking to my assistant again the man walked over to me attempting to force this piece of paper onto me. By the time the gentleman had walked over to us I had told my assistant to record a video of the man as he was not understanding my declination of paperwork. We recorded the man stating to us that he should throw us off of the property. He explained to me that I would not be welcomed back onto the property unless I signed this piece of paper right then and there. I explained to the man that I had worked there prior and there had never been an issue with us not signing as we had always been incredibly respectful vendors. He continued onward to tell me how he would lie to people about me ever working there all while on recording.

I feel this is incredibly improper behavior for handling of contracts/waivers and it saddens me to say I will never recommend this venue to any of my clients again.

We toured this place last weekend. They pulled a total bait and switch on us. We gave them a budget, they tried to steer us into spending a few thousand more than our top end number. We tried negotiating a bit, but they ceased all communication without even a courtesy 'no.' I think the venue is nice, but the business practices are unethical.

I was there for a Pastor's Anniversary Celebration with over 700 members in attendance. The ballroom is gorgeous, catering service was excellent. The host and hostesses were great, from seating you to serving your meal and keeping your glasses filled with water, lemonade or ice tea!

On Thursday, May 9th, 2019 we had a spectacular Spring Formal for Devereux PA Adult Services with approximately 490 people in attendance. The Drexelbrook was flexible, accommodating, kind and efficient in serving that many people as quickly as possible. Dom was extremely helpful in all of the behind the scenes work that it took to make this such a special event for Devereux residents, their staff and family members. Throughout the night there were nothing but compliments on the serving staff, especially Fatima who lead the charge with only a smile on her face. Throughout the night Bill, another supervisor for the evening, was constantly following up to make sure everyone had what they needed and assisted in running the charge in the kitchen with Fatima. We had a spring floral theme and the Drexelbrook picked out the most amazing spring pastel colors for their napkins which matched perfectly to our centerpieces. This is not our first year doing this event at the Drexelbrook and it definitely won't be our last. Every single person I've dealt with from start to finish is the absolute best and so extremely thorough with their immediate communication. We are looking forward to having many more years of events with the Drexelbrook.

The venue at Drexelbrook is very elegant. As a photographer, I have nothing negative to say.

Angel Gallo was our contact person for my mother's 100th birthday celebration, a buffet luncheon for 130 people, including over 20 kids under the age of 12! Angel helped us plan, gave us good advice, and was so flexible about the menu, decorations, beverages, etc. The party was a spectacular success -- the staff, headed by maitre d' Ray, made us feel completely at home and accomodated our every need, including procuring a mike at the last minute, wiring up our photo slide show, and lighting 100 candles on 100 minicupcakes! Ray even made my mother's plate from the buffet and served her himself. The food was delicious -- their sundae bar is unbelievable, the best hot fudge ever! The Mansion Ballroom is lovely and spacious. I hope I can make it to my 50th wedding anniversary so I can have the party at Drexelbrook -- Ray says he'll be our maitre d' again!

What made this birthday party unique and special was the manner in which Drexelbrook Catering handled all our requests and turned them into a memorable event. Domenick Savino, CEO, gave us the confidence to allow his team to create their magic and MAGIC they did! From the moment our friends arrived at The Barn at Valley Forge Flowers, a celebratory atmosphere prevailed. The requested Champagne/Prosecco Bar became a "Bubble Bar" enhanced with a bubble machine. The passed hors d'oeuvre selections were both savory and abundant. The presentation of the various food stations was appealing as well as satisfying and delectable. The Dueling Pianos were the suggested entertainment and fit the tempo of the age group and thoroughly enjoyed by all. We are so grateful to the team at Drexelbrook Catering for their attention to every detail making this "75th Birthday" celebration an amazing event.

We had our company Christmas party there on 12/21/2017. The service was without question the best! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating. My person to assist with decoration backed out on me at the last moment and Danielle and Angel my event coordinators were very helpful. Danielle helped me with set up and I was very grateful for that. I wanted to make last minute changes to the room setup and Basim assured me that it will not be a problem and was able to make all the requested changes. Diamond was the Lead the night of the party and, he was just AWESOME! I cannot remember the name of our server, but she was super! The bartenders was also very friendly and festive. Gene was very helpful with some adjustments that we needed to finalize the event. The food was GREAT, no complains there either. The Crab cakes and coconut shrimp....is a must! Everyone, Everyone that I had any communication with for the event at this venue was top notch service. You get so much more than you pay for here. The service is priceless!!

After considering several venues for our wedding on February 18, 2017, we selected Drexelbrook. Amid our first consultation we realized with certainty that we had made the right choice. From the beginning Kim Savino exceeded our expectations. In addition to being kind and courteous and an overall pleasure to work with she was extremely attentive and responsive. At the onset, we thought the process would be more overwhelming, especially considering we didn t' have a wedding planner, but with Kim's assistance we were able to navigate the planning process relatively comfortably. She assisted us in each key phase of the wedding planning process. Drexelbrook has relationships with many vendors so the selection process was smooth and well-organized. The day of the wedding, we were taken aback with how beautiful the venue looked. The ambiance was put together quite beautifully. From the ceremony to the reception the timing was great and each aspect was facilitated seamlessly by Drexelbrook staff. Further, the food was absolutely delicious. I must say, we expected good service but were quite surprised at how conspicuously exceptional it was. So much so that many of our guests commented on the quality. Everyone on the team was amazing. Diamond, in particular, was very helpful and accommodating. Overall, we're extremely satisfied with our Wedding and highly recommend Drexelbrook to anyone looking for a similar experience.

My first time there for a Luncheon Scholarship Program... Very nice place, nice entertainment.. Menu could have been better

The meal I had was good! But it was plane as it was a political Fundraiser...but have been there well before this last time and the food has been very goo!

This hall is beautiful. The assistant at the front was quite polite and the serving staff was very efficient with a phenomenal composure. Professionalism was a top notch key for this group and I'm glad I had the pleasure to see it in action.

SUCH a great time at Drexelbrook! I was there for the Bryn Mawr Medical Holiday party and we had so much fun! The waitstaff were excellent -especially Bene. But they were all so friendly and helpful and just jumped into the "Airplane Flight" theme. It really helped make the night special. The food was DELICIOUS! The salmon, chicken, beef and mashed potatoes and green beans were all excellent! The ice cream bar and cheesecakes for dessert were absolute PERFECTION! The D J. played great music and we all danced all night. The bartenders did a great job, too. I definitely will put Drexelbrook on the top of my list for places to have a great event. I can't wait for next year! :)

We held our wedding luncheon/reception at Drexelbrook on July 9 and it rocked! Angel, Ray, and the rest of the team there stepped up big time and made sure the event was fantastic. Our guests commented on how lovely everything was. Every aspect of the event was handled with thought and care. Couldn't be more pleased!

My son and new wife had their reception here yesterday and we were so happy with everything. The service was above and beyond from the time we walked in the front door until we left. The hors d'oeuvres were amazing and plentiful. Dinner was amazing as well especially the Filet mignon. All the guests remarked it was the best wedding ever. I highly recommend this venue for your event.

We wanted to have our traditional Board of Director's dinner meeting, but in the current quarantine condition an in person dinner with ten people was not going to work. Then Drexelbrook Delivers....Delivered! Domenick, Kim and Angle made everything work perfectly. Drexelbrook Delivers had menu items for every person and even those with food restrictions; then Drexelbrook arranged for the dinners to be delivered to each persons home and we had one of our most productive virtual Board meetings ever! We were able to share a wonderful meal and still have a productive meeting, thanks to Drexelbrook Delivers!

I had my wedding at Drexelbrook a little over a month ago and we had a fantastic time! From the start our wedding planner Jeannie was very organized and personable. Whenever we had questions she would answer our email within 24 hours. We had 2 or 3 meetings with her before hand and went over all the details well in advance! We had both our ceremony and reception at the venue! The night before we did our rehearsal and Jeannie did an amazing job going over everything and handled my HUGE bridal party with ease (we had 10 people on each side). The day of the wedding couldn't have gone any better! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and all of our decorations were set up exactly how I wanted them ! We got to view the Grand Ballroom about 10 minutes before everyone was let in and we got to do a few shots with our photographer with the entire room behind us. The reception was done amazing and the food was phenomenal ! All of our guest said how amazing the food was! Our matradees Fatima and Dale were absolutely amazing and made sure we got everything we needed all night ! Overall our experience with Drexelbrook could not have gone any better! Thank you guys for making our Wedding a day we will never forget !

I really like the venue there seems to be good Room for the food I like the buffet style that they provided and the place to have drinks the wedding the party however was very far away the place is huge so I feel like it needs a little bit more intimate setting maybe they should think about having the wedding party closer to the dance floor

I never thought planning a wedding could be so simple. My point of contact was Christina Lyle from the time I reached out for a visit and she had never left my side. My wife and I toured the newly renovated facility and fell in love. We found the perfect ballroom to accommodate our small wedding and decided this was the place. Christina gave us a copy of vendors in every area to help ease our day, though we had already found many of our own which DrexelBrook was able to accommodate. Our tasting was so amazing you would have thought it was the wedding day! Fast forward to the day of the wedding.... we stayed at the beautiful Holiday Inn which was brand new and on the property. Everything was ready for us and we didn t have to worry about a thing. A very beautiful day! Thank you so much!

We held the Simon Gratz 40th High School reunion at Drexelbrook and the service was outstanding. This is the 5th event we've either hosted or attended at Drexelbrook and the service is always flawless.

We have a luncheon banquet every year @ this place. Great service, food, parking and a nice facility.

Drexelbrook Catering and Special Events Center is just that...Special. We are lifelong guests of the Drexelbrook Team s ability to make ANY and ALL your events perfect and memorable. Starting with our in home catered college graduation party then onto our 250 person winter wedding, fast forwarding to our 25 person Jack and Jill baby shower, welcoming in our daughter with an elaborate Christening and most recently a brunch and dance party First Holy Communion. Our first phone call is always to Drexelbrook. The food is meticulously made and delicious every time. The food safety is impeccable, specifically with a severe peanut allergy. Not one single detail has ever been missed. Drexelbrook is an event and meeting planner s dream come true.

An enjoyable experience attending a family event here. The food was good, tho the portions were small. The ice cream station was a hit with the kids. Parking was good and easy in/out. Only problem was finding it. Almost drove pass the street because it is tucked away in the middle of a apartment complex.

We selected Drexelbrook after talking and reviewing several other vendors in this domain. Kim was especially helpful in discussing the cost location and budgets. She has also very good design ideas about the event and all along the process treated it like her own family event. We were certainly happy with the service provided and hoping to engage them when next opportunity arises.

Planning meeting for a corporate event. Hands down a much better option than holding it in Center City! Beautiful new venue with 70 new hotel rooms, much lower tax and FREE parking!

We had our 45th high school reunion, good food, good time.

My sorority's annual scholarship fund raiser was there. The food was great. The only thing that was disappointing the service was just okay. I could had appreciated if the wait staff was assign to tables. I think I would have gotten a knife to cut my salad before the meal was served. But other than that it was great.

Very difficult to find. Hall seemed like just a huge banquet room. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I had the pleasure of working with Drexelbrook Catering for an off-site fundraising event on 3/1/18. Everything went smoothly from the original planning process with Dominick to working with the staff night-of. Our manager was attentive and flexible to all of our needs and the staff was extremely diligent.

Drexelbrook provides competitive pricing for high-quality service and will create a menu for you based on any price or taste preferences. The food was flavorful and plentiful while also modern in its simplicity and not overly heavy, which was well-received by our guests.

We look forward to working with Drexelbrook again in the future!

Had my graduation held here with CCA. Amazing staff, amazing food, overall amazing place.

An impressive and excellent ballroom for special occasions, the food is okay, the staff is GREAT!

My church had installation of our pastor here. WONDERFULL

I had,a, wonderful FOOD WAS GREAT CAMPBELL AME CHRUCH

The Drexelbrook has done a beautiful job hosting formal dances for the differently abled adults from Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Berwyn, PA over the past few years. Devereux has had several formal events in this space and it has always been a hit with clients, parents, and staff. This spring, the ballroom fit the over 400 people in attendance comfortably with room for dancing, pictures, and socializing. The catering staff was helpful and professional and the food has also consistently been good and accurate to the orders put in. This would be a great location for any prom, wedding, or big party.

Just went to my cousin's wedding at this place. It's a nice restaurant with friendly staff, but the food was terrible. Everything was dried and overcooked, worst than the fast food restaurants. The chicken and beef dishes were so dried and flavorless that it was like chewing on cardboards. Pretty much everyone at the party complained about the food. The plates were barely touched..

I would love to have a function there. Plenty of parking available.

I love it there. It's nice there last night. We celebrate our 15th years Anniversary there for the church. NBFTC .

Went for Mother's Day. We go every year. It seems there is less wait staff as aside from clearing used plates it was difficult getting coffee refills etc. Food is consistently good.

I was in a wedding this past weekend and everything was amazing! From the time we walked in to the time we wrapped up and headed to the hotel.
Fatima made sure we knew where each room was and gave us a larger room for the bridal suite so we could change at the venue then moved all of our belongings to the new suite.
Diamond was amazing the entire time! From holding purses, fixing the train on the bride's dress to making sure we had food to eat and delicious drinks! Oh and he handed the bride, groom and the entire bridal party a cold glass of champagne as we walked back down the aisle after the wedding!
