A star is really exaggerated.
I received my 4 packages (1 delivery) yesterday. I have specified a storage location, namely in front of my apartment door (1st floor), which the driver skilfully ignored. I'm on the intercom .. He: "come down"
Nice as I am, I wanted to help him and carry up 1-2 with me. I ask him if he can carry the rest up, at least 2, please .. From him: "No, I have 2 bigger ones for you". I told him I couldn't do it and carried the first package up. During that time he quickly put the other 2 packages in the hallway and wished me a nice day.
You have to say that I had a night shift and just slept for 2 hours and he woke me up.
When I carried the packages up I got a nice strain on my calf.
AND YOU PAY FOR SOMAS ...

how to deal with paying customers ...

First you get the message that the package will be delivered the next day, and then it comes again two days too late. According to the app, the goods were at the distribution point for three days ... just bad if you urgently need the goods.

At first I was informed about the upcoming delivery mit by email, then email with tracking number and the time of delivery. Then the call from the driver that he is already at the door.

Probably the worst supplier in the world, every time you have to call customer service and make sure that you still get your package. If it were possible 0 stars. Simply total horror

Today instead of 3 stars only 1. Delivered the package to a no longer existing address to neighbors. Attempts by sender and recipient to correct address failed. It is not possible to contact DPD by telephone.

I haven't had any problems with the delivery of DPD so far. All parcels and parcels were always delivered on time and properly. I can only mention DPD GmbH with praise and therefore also recommend it.

The package was simply tucked behind the garbage can. No note in the mailbox. According to persecution: AO Tobias?!? I would say Jo great people. The package would have been taken away from everyone there. But I actually didn't expect anything else from DPD. I always panic when something is sent with DPD. It really never works.

Nice delivery person, nice and polite,
also the notification beforehand that the package is on its way, and with the sending number I was able to weigh exactly when and where my package is currently,

Unfortunately I have only had very negative experiences so far. Deadlines not met; Delivery location ignored - wrong deliveries - no information, etc - the worst service provider I know. I strongly advise against this provider! UPS / DHL and AMAZON are 1000 times better, more reliable and it fits.

The DPD delivery agent does not bring the parcels home
He left the packages outside the building floor (I'm going to a building on the 4th floor) and that has happened 5 times so far
And now I have bought a small PC and I have tracked it with the tracking number and it shows that it has already been delivered, even if it did not reach me. Therefore I will avoid DPD services from now on

Actually, even a star is too much! The package was apparently 9 days in delivery and although it was ordered early for Christmas, it came today only. Despite telephone consultation with the customer service, which we urge the urgency, it was said bravely by the deliverer that the package could not be delivered, even though we were at home! And today the package is simply squeezed into the mailbox so that the card in the package is folded. Unfortunately, not at all satisfied with the delivery by DPD.

I was at home and DPD ring my door. But they brought my Paket to neighbours. That is very uncomfortable and lazy from the DPD.

Parcel driver was super nice. Also had a little joke on the lips. Please more of such nice parcel drivers !!!!!

There was a short ring, no shouting parcel or DPD, parcel was in the entrance area, so the distance rule in the corona time was well over 1.50 meters up to the 3rd floor.
Top performance from the driver and makes sense for older people, they come down the stairs more slowly to the entrance and the package may already be away. Tip, turn off the 2nd floor and shout that I understand contactless delivery.

Either the drivers are under so much pressure that they simply leave packages somewhere, or they are unable to speak the German language.
For me, DPD is a company that I would like to avoid as far as possible.

This is impossible, it happened twice today. A package is given to the neighbor, even though I am at home. The neighbor was told that I hadn't opened the doorbell. But that cannot be the case.
Particularly annoying, because according to the sender I am supposed to refuse the acceptance because the order has been canceled.

The deliverer was on site in the specified time window. A young, friendly man, whose hold made a neat and clear impression. Conclusion: everything is fine!

Rarely does it work as planned! Say it rings and the package is handed over. Otherwise the vehicle continues and no attempt is made to deliver. Or neighbors watch that the package flies in a high arc over the fence and is there in wind and weather. Everything as always!

Wherever I can boycott this provider. Unfortunately not always works, but more and more often!

DPD has finally improved, my packages came on time than I expected. I hope it stays like this. You can understand everything when there is a lot to do and lack of staff but the customer wants to be informed honestly and not simply "we didn't find you even though you were at home all day". Just try "we tried everything but didn't make it today" :)

Just send nothing more with DPD, we were at home. The goods were not delivered 3 times. Today finally. The parcel delivery man said he couldn't deliver it because a barrier was closed. There is a barrier to the entrance for cars. He would then have had to walk about 100 meters from the street. In addition, the package was so torn. It looked like someone reached into it with their hand to see what was inside. Fortunately, it was a commodity of little value. A cell phone e.g. would probably not have been in the package then.

I actually wanted to refuse to accept it, but didn't get a chance because there was no bell. In addition, the fields for request cancellation were deactivated.

DPD parcel was ripped open. Somebody wanted to see what's inside.

My package was stated as delivered in the tracking number, although I have not received it and I was there. It couldn't be more outrageous.

DPD is unable to deliver a package correctly. I also don't understand why the delivery person doesn't ring, especially since someone is at home. There the package is deposited somewhere without having a permit for it. And now for the third time in a row. Simply underground. It is a normal family home with a name on the bell.

Everything was super ... Specified time window of 1h which was kept above average. The messenger was super friendly even though I live in the attic and were in the package of dumbbells. Of course I met him ... great service. I can only recommend :-)

I am not at all happy with the delivery. I chose a storage location for the last package. In the house on the 7th floor, the package should be placed in the chest of drawers. When the deliverer rang I opened the door and waited. Nothing happened. However, I received the message that my package had been deposited at the desired storage location. It then turned out that the deliverer had put my parcel, a bag, on the mailboxes. Accessible to everyone in our 32 tenement house. Fortunately, a dear neighbor put the parcel in my mailbox, and the deliverer could have done that if he had no desire or time to take the elevator to the 7th floor. And today!!!!! Exactly the same, although I did not specify a storage location this time, had learned from the last time! Today the deliverer rang again, I waited for it to come up, but blowpuff cake! He didn't come, so I went downstairs and lo and behold, my parcel was back on the mailboxes of our 32 tenement house, accessible to everyone. Thank you so much! (ironically meant) I know that the deliverers have a lot to do, but still everyone has to do his job correctly!

Unfortunately today (for the repeated time) my package (frozen food for dogs) was not put down at the place where it was parked. The manufacturer and consignor sticks a huge sticker on it to observe the parking permit (CARPORT). I now assume that one is not able to read. If you complain to DPD that you should speak to the employee in question, you will only receive an answer after asking, which basically says that this cannot be clarified, the customer who sends parcels with DPD must take care of that . I wonder whose employee is it? Because of that, I ruined whole packages of food. Of course, you are left with the costs. A recommendable service ... .

Worst parcel service there is. Either we are said not to be found and the parcel goes back to the headquarters or parcels are thrown over the fence, the worst thing was that a supplier peed directly on the garden fence. Consistently but unfriendly and rarely able to speak the German language.

My experience with DPD is really borderline. My orders from Hellofresh were simply placed in front of the front door and the doorbell did not even ring. As these packages contain groceries, DPD is apparently not aware of it. The packages were dented or torn each time. Of course, this also had an effect on the content. Today an ordered mattress arrived and, oh wonder, this time the bell even rang because the delivery man couldn't just put the parcel in front of the front door due to its size. When I asked whether it was just a package (I ordered two mattresses), the only answer was a sloppy "yes". Friendliness is really important to DPD - not! The box looks very battered again (cracks, holes, dents ...). It will be exciting to see when my second mattress will be delivered ...

I am very satisfied with the service. I got two very heavy packages. Since I had spinal canal surgery, I asked the driver if he could help me. Although he was very busy, he brought both of my heavy packages into the house. Many thanks.

Deliverer simply places the package on the stairs without permission and quickly disappears. Wasn't the first time, besides, I was at home and waited well. Unfortunately, the training that the poor deliverers at DPD get is not that far away !!

If I already make agreements with DPD, I expect the deliverer to adhere to them. That works with all other services. Just not with DPD. It's frustrating.

One of the best parcel services, our deliverer (driver) is always friendly, helpful, polite and mostly on time, he always rings the bell and waits until I come to accept my parcels (also from other customers).

Get a package again today via DPD. I had stated several times where the packages should be placed. Simply the worst delivery service. Every other messenger gets it to bring the package to the third floor and paid a lot of shipping costs for my package. The messenger rang the bell and placed the parcel without a word in the hallway without saying a word, which unfortunately did not happen for the first time at dpd.
