the delivery of the goods was incomplete. A bottle of Riesling was missing. After DPD the box was damaged and was repackaged. It is obvious how often DPD disappears. In the past year, all of my deliveries via DPD were either incomplete or damaged. In this respect, I would recommend everyone to use a different freight forwarder in the future. The box was not placed behind the house on the terrace, but in front of the front door, where every passerby could have taken it.

I was at home, the doorbell did not ring. Simply put in a corner. I was lucky that no one could use it. It's Corona time, but at least you could ring the bell and say something.
To date, I have had no problems with DPD. It was pointed out to precautionary measures and you have the possibility to choose the storage location. Furthermore, you can track the shipment very well and even get notified in which period it will be delivered.
Most deliverers do a good job, unfortunately there will be a few black sheep, as everywhere, that have a good reputation damage.
Not reliable, I waited at home but the deliverer didn't arrive. 15 minutes earlier he wrote that he could not deliver the parcel and I should pick it up in the shop --- That was the second attempt, the first time before 10 Days I did not get a message and the allegedly twice and the package was sent back. The parcel was brought to a DPD partner branch even though someone was at home. Even the neighbor sat in the garden and said he would take it when he saw him.

Your deliverers for 87435 Kempten are under all sow. Packages are simply placed in the hallway (70 apartments / see picture). Even though you are at home, the deliverers say you have not been home. DHL or Hermes deliverers make it, why not yours?

Again, a shipment was not left at the front door, but in the garbage can. Shipments are there for everyone to see and are unprotected from the weather, which is why I have indicated the front door as parking.
After two unsuccessful delivery attempts in the morning, DPD asked us to choose a different delivery option, which we did by calling customer service directly. Incredible. The package was simply thrown in the middle of the outside staircase instead of being deposited at the agreed location. Not to mention that the driver has already knocked over our curb and then just continued on.

Today again n great example for your club, n 800 package simply placed open in front of your front door where EVERYONE just has to pack, I checked in the morning where the package is so that who is at home if it comes today, according to persecution with you in the distribution center EXACTLY IN THE MOMENT you delivered it and OF COURSE nobody was there, because according to the tracking it was not even in delivery !!! And that was the second time in a row, the last time warns about 500 just lie down and continue straight away, but then there was someone ...!
So personally, I can't quite understand the negative reviews ....... I got updates by email all the time and knew when the packages were coming. Of course, it would have been nice if he had rang the bell briefly when parking, then I would know aha he is there. But actually not bad because the email came immediately that it had been turned off.
DPD is the most horrible logistic company with extremely incompetent employees.
I live in Frankfurt (Sachsenhausen) and our postman is sick person. He came to bring my parcel, when I opened the door he was screaming on me and BLACKMAILING. To be honest it is very shocking when you open the door and stranger behaves like this. I was just shocked and did not know what was going on. I tried to calm him down and asked what s wrong with him. He was still screaming in front of our neighbors, and said that he was waiting downstairs too long, until I opened the door. It was funny, as I immediately opened the door. But anyway this is also his job and he can not behave this way: SCREAM, BLACKMAIL, and THROW AWAY parcel in front of customer.
Finally he said that he will remember my name and I will NEVER GET PARCEL ANYMORE. And I ll have to go and pick up myself. And he did it so ... No more parcels are delivered from DPD to my address.

I usually don't like DPD. The drivers don't ring. Not even if you took extra time off to take the package. They just stick a note on the gate, - Not found - next day delivery. But you can't take time off again !!! But this time I have to say that everything went smoothly. The goods were - as I requested - deposited at the storage location. Not exactly how I wanted it (it should be under the pillows, so it shouldn't be immediately visible) but still stored in the right place. So many thanks to this driver. Probably the worst parcel service I know. Driver rude and brash. If you leave parcels somewhere, not even at the given address, you should drive after them yourself. Parcels are not delivered to the delivery address, but simply left to an unknown name / location. There is not even an address for the pick-up location. DHL delivers to the delivery address every day.
My specified, privacy-screened storage location was not used at the moment, but one with all-round insight. That way I would never have taken the risk of theft (which you do automatically when you specify a storage location). In future, I prefer to have multiple deliveries again when I'm absent.

Repeatedly claim (lie) they couldn't deliver package because there was no one there, even though you have waited the whole day. Tracking of delivery vehicle becomes unavailable a few minutes before end of delivery deadline, then approx. half an hour later it magically reappears and you get a notificatoin via email that "unfortunately they couldn't deliver because no one was home". Liars!
