Location was great and the view was really nice! I personally wasn't a fan of the beds, they weren't super uncomfortable just a bit to stiff for me. Maybe I'm just used to my own bed...meh lol

This place was awesome, with the views to match. The place was spotless and that's basically the most important in my opinion. Parking is extra but that's no big deal. Those cookies though, so good and were warm too. Love this place! I'll book again for sure.

Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Internet was awful. Couldn't get to normal websites and my vpn wouldn't connect. Called customer support and they rebooted the router no change. There was also a forest fire at some point and the smell outside permeated the room. Made it difficult to sleep.

You can do better. Unless you're at a conference next door, then it's very convenient. Just check out the charges not included in the room price. No continental breakfast. Nice, clean restaurant/cafe but be ready to drop at least $25 for one breakfast.

While visiting, I was greeted with a friendly staff. I felt like I was a part of the Hilton family. The guys at the bell stand were especially helpful! The cookies given to my children were a huge hit! Thank you all for an amazing experience!

Nice place to stay need a little bigger fridge to hold stuff but otherwise nice. Would have been nicer when returning to room on second day to be able to get into room. They had disabled room card and their digital key would only work one phone so it really doesn't help to have that technology when it won't even work. Don't use the digital key of you go to any Hiltons!

I drive a large vehicle and was told specifically to park in a valet parking spot by a hotel employee. Left to dinner and came back to valet telling us we couldn't park there. They told me I would have to relinquish my keys and pay valet. I More

Very clean building and rooms, great location. However, very very noisy from traffic but luckily front desk had ear plugs for the WIN. I'm in a wheelchair and run was accessible with roll in shower and other needed amenities. Probably would no stay here again due to related car noise.

There are definite positive and negative points about this hotel. The location is convenient, beautiful views of the river and the city. You have to pay for parking, a public garage attached to the hotel/convention center. I have stayed in other hotels with a similar set-up and they paid a lease fee for parking for their hotel guests, and, I'm sure, passed the cost on to the customer in their room fee... whereas here you straight-up pay for the parking, either do-it-yourself (and have to walk through the rain to get back to the lobby-speaking from experience,) or valet at a higher cost.

The rooms are well-appointed, a little dated, comfortable, and the bed was comfortable. I asked for a couple extra pillows later in the evening, which came quickly... but after they were brought up I realized I needed to ask for pillow cases as well.

If you're not a member of their (I can't remember the name of it) club you have to pay for internet in your room, $8.00 per day for the slower speed and $15 for the higher speed-I did not use this service, I just ended up setting up a mobile hot spot when I needed access. This is the first time in the past 8+ years I've stayed in a hotel/motel, etc... that has not had free internet with our room. This hotel DOES offer free internet in public areas... which is... something I guess.

We had dinner in Spencers, the restaurant in the hotel, and it was great food. Dinner for 4, with 1 appetizer, and 1 large Cesaer salad that we split among the 4 of us and drinks cost as much as the 2 suites our group were staying in that night.

The hotel conveniently provided a shuttle service to the concert we attended that evening, and picked us up afterwards as well.

I'm not positive I would stay at this hotel again, and I don't think I'd recommend this hotel without a heavy warning about the additional charges that get tacked on.

My Wife and I stayed here last weekend while we were in town for a wedding. We had a wonderful stay, although too short. The staff was friendly, our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was great! Would stay here again in a hearbeat.

Checked in a little later in the evening and wasn't given the normal hotel explanation. Got into the room, finally got the temp comfortable(was much too hot) and got to sleep. About 4 am the plumbing started making some really loud flushing sounds which woke us up. In the morning when we turned the water on to brush our teeth the water ran brown for a minute. Ended up using a bottle of water to brush our teeth.

Decided to go grab a quick breakfast and the breakfast for diamond members was only carbs. Fruit, oatmeal, breads, and yogurt. Went to the front and they did comp us breakfast but he argued that all double trees only give continental breakfast as of a year ago. I've stayed at a few other double trees this year and got the full breakfast. Not sure what is so special about this hotel.

Doubletrees are usually pretty nice. This one was just okay, which should be an insult for this chain. The room was just ever so slightly dirty- soap scum in the tub, dust on the sheets. Plus the rooms are super basic, no feeling of "ooooo, nice" that I've come to expect. Not even a second mirror, just the one on the bathroom. You get the feeling that they keep the doors open based on it being next to the Convention Center, not because they work hard for your business.

It's clean, decent location, but lacking in several key ways. No microwave in room (or even on the floor for that matter, just one in the lobby), restaurant is expensive, and worst of all, you energy saving heat and ac "upgrade" makes your More

Do you like strangers coming into your room in the middle of the night? Neither do I!

My flight arrived late, had me in the hotel at 1:30am, and I needed a decent night of sleep. At 2:45am, somebody comes into my room and turns on the lights! They had somehow given me a key without checking me in. At least that s what the front desk said the next morning. Then they checked someone else in and gave them my room key.

But at least they were really apologetic and tried to rectify the situation, right? No. Neither of those things, actually. They seemed frustrated that it wasn t in their system from a clerical standpoint. Rather than an apology or any attempt to make the situation right, the guy working the front desk said huh, that s weird. I don t know what those guys are doing at night. Make sure you show up to the airport shuttle 5 minutes early because they won t wait for you.

If you like sleeping with one eye open and poor customer service, you ll LOVE the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Spokane Convention Center.

The one positive thing I have to say is that there was PLENTY of seating at their restaurant for breakfast. Most likely because they re charging $19 for a mediocre hotel continental breakfast. Walk five minutes down the street to Madeline s Cafe, pay half of that, and get good food made by people who actually care about their clientele.

Great location, connected to convention center, beautiful park area behind hotel along the river, in the heart of downtown. We had a room on the 10th floor with a great river view for additional $25/night. The elevators had a line during busy times, but we had a very large group at the same hotel coming and going at the same times (they had 3 elevators); never had to wait much more than 5 min.
There is a fee for parking and the price may depend on events that are occurring that day, and there is an early check in fee.

The room was a good size, bathroom a bit small but manageable; however the only mirror/sink area is inside the bathroom- not seperate. Small mini refrigerator, no microwave, a/c ran slightly warmer than we like but at least we had control of temp, instead of set temp (plus we like it much colder than the average person). The breakfast is not included, you can get regular menu items or a buffet with sausage, bacon, cheesy eggs, and many carby options for $19 each (drink included). There are lots of shops and eating with in walking distance and easy access to I-90 (maybe 2 min drive).

Thanks to Justin working on night shift! He has helped to make our trip really great. Nice hotel. Lots of amenities. Very well located in the middle of everything. Don't forget to ask for your cookies!

Didn't stay at the DoubleTree Hilton but enjoyed a great dinner in Spencer's Steakhouse lounge for happy hour. Happy Hour Bar menu prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere friendly. Complimentary valet parking at the entrance of the Doubletree for dining in Spencer's

First let me just say, if you have a choice of staying at the Hilton Doubletree or the Davenport down the road (also connected to the Spokane convention center) choose the Davenport. Hands down. Everytime. It is fantastic. And I'm trying really hard not to let my love of the Davenport affect this review.

In fact, the four star rating of the Doubletree is mostly because the staff there are so wonderful. The hotel itself seems in need of a sprucing, it's dark and the decor and aesthetics are on the verge of being outdated. The rooms are basic. I believe every one has a fridge but they will also bring you a microwave if you request it. The restaurants are so so, I don't like how dark the dinner/bar place is and the menu wasn't very exciting since I don't eat steak. The drinks outside of happy hour were also pricey. The hot tub is weird, it's huge but has like 4 jets; the gym is very cramped but has several machines and free weights. The lobby doesn't have enough seating for socializing after a conference or while waiting to go out.

The convenience to the convention center was wonderful but be warned, when your conference gets out for the day the elevators will jam up. I hate waiting for packed elevators. Its also in a great location for enjoying the beautiful park, riverwalk and downtown eating. There is a co-op market in walking distance and other grocery type stores a short Lyft away.

But the staff, they were the absolute best. I was staying there with a large conference and every request I made was met with an enthusiastic yes, even when it wasn't standard. When we jokingly ribbed them about only giving away walnut chocolate chip cookies when we know their catering department makes delicious cookies of many flavors, one of their managers went out of his way to get us our favorite. (side note: I'm allergic to walnuts and I think it's absurd a hotel chain has made it's name on giving out fresh warm cookies but they all contain a common allergen. Their alternative packaged gluten-free cookies are a weak condolence).

Our stay was short, but pleasant. The only complaints I have are the stiff/rough texture of the towels and robes and the fees for parking. $30 for valet and $20 for self-parking. The front desk employees were professional and friendly. Also, the prices for room service items are a bit high. The last photo was our view from the 10th floor.

Very over priced. Breakfast was not included in the $200 I paid for the king bed for one night. We were also charged an additional $22 for parking for one day and valet wasn t even an option. I had call the previous day about early check in since we had a wedding at 4. I was told as long as we came after 1 we would not be charged. We checked in at 1:30 and were charged $25. The check in gal was nice but it was definitely a confusing check in with all the extra charges. The bed was comfy, view terrible but it s Spokane, and the TV was placed so you couldn t really view it from the bed or couch. Our A/C also made a loud cranking noise all night so overall the stay was poor for about $250.

Omgosh...what can I say about this hotel. Everything so far has been so good! Tia at the front desk and a couple others have been so accommodating. I am here in town for a few days for a surgical procedure and they have checked in on me and made sure I had extra pillows and a freezer for my ice pack. Just amazing!
