The staff has been great. My roommate has had many special needs and requests and they were all accommodated quickly, efficiently, and cheerfully. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was warm and cozy; I slept very well. There are many resources inside the hotel, including Starbucks, and there are even more lovely restaurants and stores within walking distance.
Great service received text messages prior to check welcoming me to the hotel. They let me know my room was ready, they upgraded me since I was a Hilton Honors member which was cool too. Room was clean and hotel was clean as well. Cant complain. Restraunt downstairs looked busy haven't tried it yet, room service was quick and friendly, food was warm and taste was okay cant complain there.
This is one of the nicest hotels I've been in. Nice restaurants inside the hotel and ballrooms for various events. Breakfast area which a Starbucks. Very clean and pleasant smelling bathrooms. The valet staff were friendly and speedy. The location is right in downtown and is east to get to. I had a wonderful time.
Wonderful hotel rooms lobby ECT.
Recommend to All!!
Great location on the river with plenty to eat, see, and do nearby. Staff are very friendly and accommodations are great. Am coming back to Spokane for the next couple of months and have no doubt I will stay here again.
The location right next to the river is very nice. You can walk or run on the paths. Shopping areas are close. The room was great, clean and quiet. Even though the hotel was full, the staff was always attentive and friendly.
I converted to Presbyterianism in this hotel. Thank you to the entire Hilton family.
Really nice. Spencers can only do take out tho. For covid.
Clean hotel with friendly service. Great location downtown by the river with a scenic walk to a little waterfall. No breakfast.
I stay here when I visit each year. Excellent location and the staff is so helpful. Great restaurants and the breakfast is awesome!! I love the muffins. The views from my room were breath taking, over the rivers. Love, love, love this place!
I went to a seminar here. Great vibe the people where welcoming and helpful
A little frayed around the edges but a super friendly staff!
Would not stay here again. Very dissatisfied. Rooms was dirty. Hair on both beds between the sheets...pretty disgusting. I wonder if they even washed the bed sheets. I even had a spider crawling on my bed when I was trying to sleep. Definitely don t recommend this place to anyone. I also found hair in the bathtub. Stay at the Oxford...not here.
It was an absolute fabulous experience. Amenities were wonderful and the Riverwalk was spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel!
The food at the restaurant was great. They used different cooking techniques and recipes than usual for the steaks and salad which made them have their own good Spencers taste.
The chocolate chip cookies are the yummiest! Great location that's next door to the park and within walking distance to so many little restaurants.
My stay was exactly as expected. Clean rooms, friendly staff, with decent amenities. The surrounding town itself has a lot of character and small unique shops. Hopefully my travels will bring me back soon.
Check-in was quick and painless. Applying my Hilton Honors rewards was also easy to set up and apply. The cookie you get when checking in was a delicious life saver haha. Room was excellent and clean. Room coffee not bad, and complementary hair conditioner was of surprising quality. Would have loved to stay multiple nights. Front desk workers (wish I remembered names) were professional, friendly, and sincere to talk to.
This place is gross. We stayed in the city view rooms, 12th floor and up. Very antiquated and run down for a Hilton. Self parking is $24, and you'll have to walk a quarter mile to find the unmarked entrance to the hotel. And as always, enjoy!
I was staying for a business trip. My check in experience was a complete nightmare. The company that I work for use they hotel points and the CEO name is the only name on the reservation. However, I have my check in Confirnation # and all the right credentials to check in. But, the front dear staff made me fell like I was doing identity theft or something. I have never felt so embarrass ambulated in my life. It was so bad that I hat to call my Boss to confirmed who I m and let them now that yes, I work for the company. I been traveling for years and been in many hotels and I have never experience anything like this. I will never again stay at this hotel.
Terrible customer service. Room stunk upon arrival and sheets smelled like stale cigarettes.
It was beautiful scenery the service was great. The view was beautiful at night. It was easy to get to.
Friendly service staff, well furnished, with a fridge. Office center in lobby has printer. Right by the river; great to walk by! Unfortunately sinks are either warm or hot: not good if you want a cool drink!
Rooms were great, staff very friendly, could not connect to the internet, matter what I tried (that was a little frustrating), but all in all, a very good experience!
This is an older property but it is well kept and clean
Rooms are ok. Breakfast buffet is a horrid rip off!
Nice amenities and employees. Hotel is a bit dated though. Great downtown river side location!
great people to greet you, Awesome breakfast for hungry hockey players! and an awesome view!
I booked a romantic getaway for me and my husband. I have booked a king size bed in a corner room when I opened the room there were two queen size bed in a small cramped room right by the staircase. So I had to go down and get a new room but I had also ordered chocolate covered strawberries and cheese board with champagne and that wasn't delivered and they claim I never placed the order which I had done 5 days in advance. Then every time we turned on the shower the smoke detector went off, it went off three different times. Finally my husband went downstairs and after being called a liar about the accommodations that I had pre paid for and being called a liar and that we were probably smoking or lighting candles in the bedroom they finally gave us a pathetic meal voucher.
Clean comfortable hotel in the heart of downtown Spokane
The rooms were clean, service was good, wish they had some sort of free basic breakfast
We enjoyed our stay. The location is great, within walking distance of downtown Spokane and all its attractions, including Riverfront Park, River Park Square, Spokane Falls and a myriad other things to do. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though the building itself is a bit dated. I don't care for having to pay an additional $17/night for parking, but it is what it is. The staff is, by in large, friendly and helpful. All in all, we like the DoubleTree and will probably stay here again.
The DoubleTree has a good location next to Riverside Park. The building is older, but the rooms have been rennovated and are quite comfortable. Service was great.
Very nice hotel on the river. Great staff. Lovely rooms. Good wine selection.
Comfortable beds and very nice and professional staff
Went for a judo tournament and was pleased with the cleanliness, organization, and presence of available and helpful staff
Great experience. Pricy but you get what you pay for. The king sized beds are glorious. The view rooms are lovely. Parking is expensive. Great experience over all but they nickle and dime you for sure.
The room was nice. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.
The hotel was lovely, clean, modern, and welcoming. Unfortunately, I can only give a 3-star review due to the incredibly rude front office employees. The two young ladies treated us like we were not paying guests, would ask for our ID 3 times in the first half hour we were there. They wouldn't let us check into our room, that was ready (according to Housekeeping) until one minute after check-in was allowed. The hotel was wonderful, despite the wicked little vipers manning the front desk, drunk on perceived power. Going back to the Davenport next time.
Staff is excellent, rooms are clean. Building is older
Great view of the Spokane River. Nice excercise facility and access to good running trails. Can walk to most entertainment downtown.
I'm really impressed with the mannerism of people all over Spokane, WA. Nicole and Paris are really good spoken people. Room was as described! Nicole thought I'd like it and was right on point! Thanks Spokane! Will be back!
Great location with a lot to do within walking distance. Friendly staff and modern rooms.
Nice overall. Perhaps in need of a facelift but not bad.
Good location, rooms were partly new/partly dated. Parking might be a hassle if there is a conversion taking place next door. Good resteraunts within walking distance.
Excellent service, friendly staff from front desk to Spencer's. Had some outstanding burgers and fries. Over all a great experience.
The staff was very professional and helpful with our event.
I recommend avoiding this hotel. I'm a Hilton rewards member and they charged my $60 for an early check-in when the hotel is basically empty. This is another business which has succumb to the mask madness and hysteria and will likely run themselves out of business and have to sell it for pennies on the dollar. Of course they laid off all the room staff so there wasn't any room service during my 7 days stay. I also noticed that they charge full price for the room. Although the convention center was closed due to Covid, they charged me to park in the empty parking garage. The carpets were dirty as if not cleaned in months and The decor was dated and dismal. The room walls were thin and rocked when my neighbors were getting busy throught the nights. Oh.. I almost forgot, I heard gun fire on the streets at night and the city was crawling with vagrants and ex cons. To bad, spokane is beautiful place. Wake up Business owners.
Went to a conference with 150 people. Great event and the hotel was awesome
Very cozy rooms, saw one with double queens. Friendly staff, a little uncertain about the convention center, but overall wonderful people.
Very friendly staff. Front desk, bar and restaurant staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. Older property but well maintained. Right on the river and walking distance to plenty of local establishments. Parking seems a bit high, though. Overall, a great choice.
Didn't really explore outside. But there is a Starbucks downstairs as well as a steakhouse. Only 1 microwave downstairs as well which is annoying.
The experience was good for the most part, some rules regarding food were a little ridiculous
