The staff really went over and beyond to make us feel welcome for our TBI Conference. Everyone from the shuttle driver who patiently played tag with me after I called and then realized that I had left some items back on the plane; to Victor the front desk guy who made me feel welcome and put a smile on my face after such a shaky start to a great event by responding to me in Arabic when I exclaimed, "Alhumdul'Allah! Shukran." When I found out that my shuttle to and from the airport was covered. Oh, did I mention the wait staff who served us breakfast? I'm sorry that I can't remember her name, but after explaining that I eat halal, she brought me an egg sandwich without ham. Thank you all so much!

Located conveniently, this hotel is typical of a Doubletree Hotel, loved the free warm cookies at check in but rooms were not very clean, and housekeeping never came on our first night even though we had set up getting housekeeping at check in. I think they deserve a 3.5

Excellent location with beautiful views of the downtown area. Staff very professional and friendly. I ordered a make your own omelet, it was stuffed ingredients. For dinner I order Mediterranean Chicken, probably the best I've had. I would stay here again.

The walls have no sound proofing between rooms. I could hear my neighbor's normal level conversations in full over my tv and air conditioning fan, not to mention their "extracurricular activities" in the middle of the night. The ice maker was loud even though it was at the other end of the hall along with the dinging of the elevator. The sound from outside was rather loud as well.

Pricy but nice. Did not include many small conveniences I would typically anticipate for a hotel, such as a microwave in the room and sometime of complimentary breakfast. Overall, these complaints don't ruin the overall experience of the hotel.

Location is wonderful! Rooms were clean and looked nice, however sound very much travels. Hopefully they will better insulate their rooms so we don't have to hear every conversation in the hallway in the future. Also the heater/AC unit could benefit from being replaced. It's very loud and woke us every time it kicked on. Only reason for three stars is the fact that we kept being awoken from the noise. However, the hotel staff and the cleanliness of the room were top notch and the location was perfect!

Service is great but that doesn t makeup for the mediocrity of this hotel. We stay in Hilton s all over the world and this one doesn t seem to be held at the Hilton standards. I wanted to take a bath after a long day of traveling, and the bath water had things floating in it and the bottom of the bathtub was slimy. There was also a hair on the back of the tub that was not mine. The hallways and rooms smell old. This hotel needs many renovations. The windows outside need cleaned very badly, there are multiple spider webs in the window, it s pretty dirty and messes with the view outside. Not looking forward to 10 days here. Unfortunately we chose this over the lodging on base and I regret it.
Adding to my review, the Starbucks is closed more often than it is open. It closes for 4-5 hours at least 3 days a week. It s frustrating when you can t even use your gold member benefits at the hotel to get coffee in the early afternoon.

18.50 to park your own car? My husband is a member of the Hilton rewards and is gone a lot. NEVER has he had to pay to park his own car. The only way we found out that parking your own car wasn't free, was the charge on his card! And we decided to see where this located on the Hilton site, not very user friendly to find, that's for sure. He travels all over and I know this Hilton will be taken off the list. Asinine to say the least.

I had to provide such a low score because the elevator situation here is truly ridiculous. We are here for a conference, and there are several other events going on, so this 15 floor hotel is pretty busy. Despite there being a very large number of guests here, there are only three elevators to service all 15 floors, and those three elevators are very small, especially considering people are traveling with luggage. Think of a standard elevator you would see in an office building and it's about half of that size. Essentially you end up having to wait anywhere from five to ten minutes for an elevator, just to have one come by your floor and be packed with people so that you cannot get on. And since my wife and I are at a conference and have kids, we unfortunately are having to use the elevator a lot. I've stayed at many hotels and I haven't had an experience as frustrating as this just trying to get from my floor down to the lobby. We are only three nights into our five night stay and I've already had at least 10 other guests complain to me about how bad the elevator situation is. I've seen several groups stop waiting for the elevator and take the stairs after waiting for a very long time. I've also seen families with kids have to split their trip down to the lobby into multiple elevator rides just because no elevator car could accommodate a family of four with a few suitcases, since the elevator cars come by full. Also, the daily parking charges for staying in the hotel are pretty steep. We're from Portland, and the price is here to park overnight at the hotel are as expensive as a high end hotel in downtown Portland, and that includes valet. Though, on the plus side, the parking garage does have big spots.

EDIT: That was a nice reply from hotel management, and good to know about the parking. Thanks! I'm increasing my star count.

For the premium price this should be a much nicer hotel. I guess you pay for the location. the hotel is extremely dated, while clean in most aspects the carpet and arm chair were stained. what looked like ground in gum on the carpet and nope I won't sit in that chair grime. parking is not included, AND I was told the overnight fee would be $20 but when I checked my credit card I was charged $21.78 I'm guessing it is tax? It would have been less expensive to pay the hourly rate. after the hotel fee, extra $10 fee for I'm not sure what, tax, parking. my final total was over $250 making this a shabby mediocre overpriced hotel. this was off peak travel, nothing happening at the convention center. and good luck finding the entrance to the lobby.

Very large, upscale hotel. We ended up getting upgraded when we got there so our room was massive! They allow pets.

Parking is not free, valet was $40 for the night. (We had a uhaul attached to our SUV if that s why it was so much, not sure if this is the standard).

The front desk was so short handed we had to wait 25 minutes to check in. The guy was doing valet, check in, answering phones by himself. I felt really bad for him so we weren t upset about the wait but for such a large, busy hotel, there should have been more than 1 person at the desk. We checked in around 4 pm. So it wasn t too early or late.

We were there for a work party. The food was okay. But still had a good time. Wish parking was not so expensive. Dissapointed about that. Other then that we did not stay at the hotel. Heard not so good things about staying.

Everything here is so expensive, and we just went for Lunch! Have to admit, the burger was good, just wish they didn't put seasoning and herbs all over the fries. Not everyone likes parsley, you know....

I was so pleasantly surprised by the downtown area of Spokane. The hotel is centrally located along the Riverfront walking path. The front desk staff; Victor and Samantha were very courteous and helpful. I can't wait to return for a weekend stay.

This hotel staff is very friendly, the hotel is very old and needs an update. My bathroom was very outdated and felt dirty. No free breakfast I paid twenty dollars for a buffet that I would have received for free at the Hampton and I am a Hilton honors member and still no free breakfast. This hotel did not feel like a double tree

We went to Spencer's to celebrate a birthday and was not impressed by the lack of service. The waitress was never around and only refilled out drinks twice in a two plus hour visit. Food was good but over priced

Beautiful hotel! Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Spokane within walking distance of River Park Square (downtown mall), the Spokane River, Spokane Falls, Riverfront Park, the Convention Center and many bars and restaurants.

The room was extremely well kept, and the hotel itself was easy to navigate. The breakfast buffet was very good. Only thing that irritated me was the electronic key card system because it took several tries before the door unlocked, but that's nothing compared to the stay overall.

Stayed with family here. The location is ideal to the riverfront park. We enjoyed the pool, which was warm and nice hot tub. The buffet breakfast at first glance appeared standard issue, and there were some fun surprises: little smoothie shooters, mini parfaits and plenty of coffee. The sky view was fun. Enjoy!

Hotel is a little outdated but overall very nice. The room had a bit of trash from the previous guest in the ice bucket, overall it did feel clean though. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sheets were ironed and pulled nice and tight.
