Old " has been " hotel. Great location, excellent staff. Hilton left it as a 3 star, so many things could be upgraded to a 4 star hotel. Too bad. The breakfast place is excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

Clean, spacious rooms. Great breakfast. Super courteous and professional staff. Easy walk to most of downtown Spokane. Love that I can choose to GoGreen and get additional Hilton Honors points. Only complaint would be that the need to clean spider webs of the outside of the windows. Looking down at the beautiful riverwalk feels like I'm looking out of a haunted house window.

They booked my room on the wrong night the guy at the front was very rude the manager tried to help room was outdated and they brought up a twin bed for two people overpriced and bad service overall a very sad place!!!

When my car broke down at 1 in the morning, doubletree was there to accept me, my friend, and my puppy. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. I am so thankful to have stayed here and would recommend this place to all my friends. This hotel is truly amazing!

Great location for a great price. This Doubletree is located at the convention center and near the Spokane River Park. There's a lot of food within walking distance and parking on site. Parking is $15 a night for self park or $20 for valet. Rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is friendly. There's an expensive steakhouse in the hotel, but I'd recommend going out and walking a few blocks for food. Make sure and walk the park and check out the river, there's some pretty nice scenery.

Great restaurant inside , my boss stays here when in Spokane . The rooms I have no idea out of my weekly stay budget . But the food at the Steakhouse is top notch , wines excellent . Wait staff is above the norm . Recommend you stop in and enjoy the experience and the food !!

These guys are all liars and fat faces! My friend had his car parked by the valet and it came back with almost $3000 worth of damages. The problem is, as luck would have it, the cameras don't cover the spot where Smoky the Bandit valet man parked it. What an awesome coincidence! They should be ashamed of themselves. My friend is an upstanding, church going, citizen and this has ruined his faith in humanity. Great Job Double Tree!

Normally I don t write reviews at places I haven t stayed but staying at this hotel has come to damn near impossible. I was hoping to get the problem resolved before I wrote a review but it s been 3 months and still nothing.

My now husband and I booked a room for Friday and Saturday nights back in August for our wedding night. Our friend was going to stay the night Friday night so she had a place in town to sleep. My new husband and I would stay Saturday night after our wedding. She ended up staying somewhere else, so my husband went in person to cancel the Friday night stay as no one would be checking in but we ll check in Saturday night. He even ordered a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate our new MARRIAGE.

So, we get married in cda. Have a great time. Show up to the Hilton in downtown Spokane, still in our tux and wedding gown, only for them to tell us since we didn t check in on Friday our whole reservation got cancelled and they were completely booked on rooms and couldn t get us in any room. Our wedding night and celebrating as a new married couple was completely ruined.

The girl at the front looked like she felt extremely bad, almost about to cry. She was super sweet and offered us their warm delicious cookies (I ll give the necessary 1 star to their cookies).

I emailed Hilton services and got to deal with Danae, director of front office services around August 16 (we were married August 12). She said I would get a certificate for a complimentary suite to make up for the cancellation and free breakfast as well as our points refunded for the stay. That sounded fair to me. I gave her my address for the certificate. I emailed again August 28 because I still had not received anything. She said it might take a few weeks to receive it and offered to book something through her now. My husbands and my schedules are very opposite, our wedding day and the day after we re the only days we had off together. So trying to book this again was difficult working around our schedules. After a lot of scheduling issues I just decided to wait until the holiday break (I m a full time student in the nursing program).

Realizing the time that he passed, I emailed Danae again September 13 because I STILL had not received the gift certificate. She said she d been out of the office and would look into it when she got back. Emailed again September 21st as I had not heard anything back from her or received the certificate. At this point I was getting irritated with this situation. I did finally receive the certificate.

Fast forward to October 26, I emailed Danae about making a reservation for December. No reply. Emailed again October 30. No reply. Called her direct line and left a message I think October 31. No reply.

I emailed again and CC d my husband to deal with this as I said I m a full time student and working and have better things to deal with. She FINALLY emails me back stating she did not receive my previous emails. I thought it was weird that she received that one but not the previous two and also wondered why she didn t return my call. After dealing with this for 3 MONTHS it s no surprise that our room got cancelled. This issue has still not been resolved and at this point I don t think it will. I will never recommend this place to anyone. And I ve never even stayed here.

Thank you double tree, for ruining our wedding night, and our celebration our new married life together.

Edit: I m surprised to hear they have availability on the days we requested. I will update my review once we stay, about the hotel itself instead of just guest services.

Hotel is starting to show its age. The walls are thin and the doors are hollow, so be prepared to hear noise from your neighbor and the hallway. There's a good happy hour at the restaurant in the lobby.

Been here many times. Hotel is connected to the convention center which makes it very convenient to stay and attend events. The rooms are pretty standard doubles. Comfortable and clean. The breakfast can be a bit pricy, butwe had vouchers from an event. Very good breakfast buffet. One drawback is that there are 3 slow elevators and no stairs connecting floors above with the lobby. Pool also had limited hours. There is a nice park nearby to walk our for kids to play. There are lots of good locations for food within walking distance or a sorry drive. Being a Double Tree they also have the free cookies. Overall great place to stay with a couple drawbacks. Not really breakers, but minor annoyances.

A nicer Motel than most throughout Spokane.

Some are nice. Some are outrageous. Some are scary and slimy as hell to be in.

so if you're looking for an upgrade from the Downtowner motel or the maple tree Motel. The DoubleTree motel is a great place to go, and experience luxury

The hotel is in a good location downtown. Close to several restaurants, shopping mall, and the highway. The check-in process was smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also refeshing to know that the hotel was in the process of performing room upgrades (bathroom). I would rate higher but had some problems with the A/C-heater window unit. It was either off or on. The auto button didn't seem to work as designed. Hotel staff was very responsive to the issue and tried to help. I didn't stay long enough to see if they solved the issue but they were committed to doing so. The room either being noisy or not at a comfortable temperature made it difficult to sleep. Even with this issue I would recommend this hotel and stay here in the future.

Update: I reached out to Hilton and they put me in contact with DoubleTree and they are making it all good. Great Customer Service!

I would say the double tree has a great view if your facing the river but,

The signs aren't lit for parking and it's very hard to figure out where every thing is if you are arriving at night.

You have to park in the garage and it's quite the walk from your car to the hotel. Can be annoying.

The guests were very loud all the up till about 12am. I could hear people down the hallway and above us making lots of noise.

The tv signal cut out often while watching also annoying.

All in all it's a bit pricy my wife and I like the Red Lion across the street more.

Food available, close by restaurant which are open to sit down and have a meal. 5 minute walk from the river front. Great walking /jogging path right outside hotel. 10 minute drive from Spokane airport, hotel van can pick up and drop off at airport.

Currently staying at the hotel today (11/30 Saturday) booked this room via Priceline and Just checked in. Had an amazing price but so much was left out that ended up bringing my overall total.

Firstly, it s a great location! In the middle of everything literally.

My only issues with the hotel were. No WiFi(7.95 for 7 days?), no complimentary breakfast (12-16$), parking is not free (20/night) so my budget I had set out has already been overextended. Let s not forget the parking is far away as we are freezing while walking back. Thank god I m not paying full price for this stay otherwise I d be really unhappy.

3 stars for, nice hotel, location and possibly nice staff.

Meh
