It was a nice stay. The location is nice. Rooms are nice. Bed was great.
It was a nice stay. The location is nice. Rooms are nice. Bed was great.
Always clean, great front desk check in/out. Love the option to check in early and keyless room entry is slick.
The price was outrageous once we saw our room. $850 for a tiny room, freezing pool, and not really hot hot tub, and breakfast NOT included. I will say the staff was really nice but other than that we will stay elsewhere. We were expecting to splurge on our honeymoon and have a nice hotel. I could get the same room at a much cheaper hotel. Not only that but things were constantly breaking the entire 4 days we stayed. Oh and $100 dollars to park there too.
Also my reply to the owners reply. We contacted multiple times about the room and things breaking. We also had already had a conversation about our honeymoon before we got there and that they would put in a note about it. Regardless you should add more photos of your outdated rooms. More than anything when looking at your rooms it shows large rooms and we showed up to a really small room. And oh no, that is what you charged. And when we called to clear it up we got a very rude man at the front telling us its just taxes. Which is funny because i didn't get charged nearly 850 the last time I stayed here at a different, nicer hotel. Will not return. Way too many issues for the price.
We stayed here for a comicon next door. We absolutely loved everything. We had breakfast from the buffet. Whic we could have egs, bacon and potatoes. They also had sweet bread that was gluten and the lemon blueberry pound cake was so good I had to ask if it was really gluten free. Cecilia was our waitress and we loved her. She took care of our every need. We also loved our room. We had a king premium Jr suite. Really big and great for a family. We had a great time here.
It's a nice hotel, comfy beds, clean. But no microwave in the room! Come on that's a basic thing to have in a hotel room. Also charged me $20 for parking and the History channel keeps breaking up. I won't be back. They want to charge you for every single thing.
Very nice hotel in downtown Spokane. Attached is a very nice steakhouse, Spencer's Steaks and Chops. Highly recommended.
Well, it's the time of masks and social distancing, and that's cool. We want everyone healthy and happy. The DoubleTree Spokane CityCenter, and, as far as I can tell; the North West USA, are doing an admirable and accurate seeming practice. The door was sealed with a two part sticker, the remote was wrapped in a sticker indicating it was sanitized. Rooms are nice and clean. Comfy bed. Smelled crisp. Pleasant atmosphere and accoutrements. Decent smoking area outside the main lobby. Thumbs up.
It's adjacent to the Spokane Convention Center...very convenient. The staff is friendly and it's in the heart of downtown.
Peaceful, clean and easy to find where I needed to go.
I was very impressed with the service at this hotel. I had screwed something up on my reservation, but they kindly fixed it for me with no problems, and no extra fees. It wasn't all that new but it was well maintained, and the location is tough to beat if you enjoy downtown Spokane.
I didn't get a chance to see the rooms individually, but the atmosphere and the people are welcoming and very friendly. Definitely love the service.
Great rooms, great location, nice staff. Lots of food options nearby. Awesome town.
This downtown doubletree hotel has perfect location; right by Spokane River and walking distance to downtown. It is large compared to standard Double Tree hotels. The building is right next to the convention center. Some of the rooms have river views. We stayed here couple of times and had good time. The staff is helpful and polite. There is a premium steak restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there.
As Diamond members, continental breakfast was included in our room rate. The breakfast itself is ok you can get continental breakfast, ala carte or breakfast with hot food buffet style. It is kind of confusing but you can order anything and they just deduct the continental breakfast from your bill.
They have best huckleberry pancakes, fluffy but not too sweet.
The waitresses are really attentive and keep filling your coffee and checking on you.
The parking is expensive here 20$ a night next to the hotel.
The rooms are spacious but heaters have a problem. Our room kept getting hot or cold. The heater after a while started blowing cold air. The bed was comfortable and our room had a nice view of the river. One thing I like about Hilton offering points to guests if they opt out the guest service. If you need something you can still call the room service otherwise you dont get daily room service. I found this very environmentally friendly and cost efficient.
The lobby is nicely decorated and it is big. Of course the warm welcome chocolate chip cookies are always enjoyed.

Parking fee
Outdated rooms
Ridiculous parking fee of $22 a night for diamond members, no cook to order breakfast available unless you want to pay for gold and diamond members which is typically a benefit of that level of loyalty, scheduled for four nights stay checked out after one night and went to Hilton garden inn, free parking and they honor your diamond member benefits unlike the DoubleTree.. brought these issues up at the front desk and they couldn't care less, will never stay at this double tree again...
Great hotel. Only complaint is that it is quite large. Parking garage nearby. Not one of those 'park outside your hotel room' type places. Room appeared to be older hotel room that had been retrofitted to meet fire code. Heater cycling on and off every few minutes (would have preferred room that had constant fan, or similar to be less disruption for sleeping.). Other than that, the staff were very friendly and supportive.
Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Too bad the restaurantil is closing due to coronavirus restrictions.
Great staff. Average room but a great location. Walking to city center or just being right there at the convention center was a huge convenience.
Staff was very helpful. Took good care of me and my family.
Great hotel in a good location. Lots of good restaurants close by.
I travel quite a bit for work and try to stay at Hilton properties as much as possible. I gave this Hilton 3 stars due to the uncleanliness of the bathtub. Normally they are spotless. It is still a nice hotel with the wonderful Hilton beds.
We attended an event there, the hotel was clean and the event was well organized.
The beds are so soft, the location is great and close to everything. The cookies are always so yummy.
Went to a convention style dinner. 600+ people. Food was good, hot & served quickly. Parking was convenient and a short walk to the meeting room. The banquet staff was efficient and friendly.
A.Maz.ING.
Hilton hotels are the best, with the best people.
This one is posh! They have robes.
ROBES!!!
Great place for a meeting didn't have a chance to sleep here though
Friendly staff and the room was great. Parking was a little high-priced. Would stay there again.
It looks kind of old. Could really use an update. The wifi isn't free. It's $8.00 a day at the cheapest. I got a coffee downstairs and it was made wrong. They don't have a free continental breakfast. It's just a city hotel I guess.
Comfortable hotel. As always nice and helpful front desk staff. Clean and quiet. I have a feeling during our stay the occupancy was down? Seemed like no one around??
We would mark 6 stars if we could! A+ customer service! Tina, from Sales and Marketing, approved an expired gift certificate that we were previously unable to use due to covid. She was extremely accommodating and prompt in her communication, and must have been the person who facilitated a thoughtful surprise in our room to further celebrate the surprise 70th birthday celebration for Rick. Her actions were especially appreciated after the many letdowns and disappointments that have occurred over the past year. Our room was spotless and we had a beautiful view of the river as requested. We were also very impressed with the warmth and genuine interactions with the staff at the food/coffee serving area. Our breakfast was fantastic! Overall, our experience with this DoubleTree was sterling from start to finish. We will definitely be back!
Clean and comfortable, food is a little pricey as expected at a convention center.
This has been a great hotel to stay at. It is incredibly convenient to the Spokane Convention Center.
This is a nice place to stay because it is in walking distance of many things. But I stayed here in November and I couldn't get my room above 68 degrees. They were nice enough to give me another room but not much better for heat. The floor was the worst. It was hard for me to get up and shower the next morning. COLD!
Good downtown location. Big hotel. Attached to convention center.
Location ,location that's is the main reason I booked, and it's all that and more. Located right downtown it's a nice short walk to Riverfront Park, and easy access to the convention center via a enclosed causeway .
The room could need a bit of an upgrade and the bathrooms are small, but still worth every dollar.
We stayed in the presidential suite for one night which cost over $400. The table chairs had stains, the glass on the table and coffee table was smeared/filmy. The bed covering looked like it sat in a pile for a good amount of time before being put on the bed. The room was really nice but overall it didn't feel really clean. We got there Sunday about 2:30, nothing was open in the hotel not even the little snack shop. Overall extremely disappointing for the price. I don't think I'd ever stay again. However we did have really good service checking in.
Wonderful time. Clean, good food. Would highly recommend
Ease of access and friendly staff. Oh, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on...
Nice place to stay in Spokane. Centrally located, food is fantastic, especially the breakfast.
Dated rooms, changed from Presidential suite due to water leak, new room smelled of cigarette smoke and hotel service was spotty. Restaurant and pub had excellent food, wait staff were great and large wine selection. Will not be returning to this hotel.
This hotel has a shuttle which will pick you up and return you to the airport. It is within easy walking distance of the Spokane Arena and many casual eating places. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is next to the Spokane River and Riverside Park.
Sweet upgrade. Good breakfast. Nice view of the river.
Overall it was pretty good. However, i had problems getting the water in the shower warm. Also the walls are thin and my neighbors were loud. Between that and the loud air unit that randomly turned on, i had a tough time sleeping.
Room was trash!!
Hard 3 day stay!!
Weren't there long, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable
We were in the ballroom for a meeting. Staff was really nice. The layout was odd in that the parking garage was not connected to the hotel entrance so we had to walk outside to get between the two. Also, the restrooms were far away from the ballroom entrance so not super convenient. Did not get an opportunity to explore guest rooms.
If it wasn't for covid you'd have to pay to park here, the guest registration parking is always full of lazy guests that don't want to walk from the parking garage (which is far away and will cost you lots of time) and someone without a placard always takes the handicap parking spot. That basically means that when the pandemic is over you'll have to pay everything you'll earn, fight for a decent space and then walk a blocks distance just to sit your car for the minutes it takes to deliver the food. When they fix this problem and give free parking to delivery drivers I'll give them more stars, but until then I recommend not delivering to this place.
We had a king size bed and basically throw pillows for pillows to sleep with. Also. The walls are paper thin. At two points in the night, some person got out of their room to have a phone call basically right in front of our door.
Room is small and old. The air conditioning is very noisy. And if you have the free version of the breakfast, e.g, included in your membership, you can only have cold food. For hot part of the buffet, you have to pay extra. Feel my loyalty to Hilton is not well being valued in this hotel.
Great location! Only disappointment is the noisy air conditioner and cheap T.P.
Stayed here during Hoopfest - fantastic location!! The staff is so friendly and helpful!! Rooms are great and beds are comfortable. Beautiful views of the river and easy access to the convention center.
Wonderful property! Staff is helpful, cheerful and proactive. Breakfast has a variety of tasty items and the made to order omelettes were fluffy perfection. Our server Melissa was terrific - great personality, attentive without being pushy. DeNay at the front desk is a font of information and obviously genuinely cares about her guests having the best possible experience. Both excellent examples of top tier staff! Like all Hilton hotels the bed was super comfy, didn't wake until my (very prompt) wake up call. Pool was closed for the season, but the whirlpool was a great way to relax before retiring. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown Spokane area!
Get a price online and then phone the hotel to book so you don't loose the "perks", like a parking spot or wireless. They take away all the good stuff if you book through a third party.
I had to stay here for about 2 months when my house froze up in the winter (radiators broke, took forever to find replacements)
The best part about the hotel is the cookies, however I only got 1 at check in (you don't get one every night, or so I was told) You'd think spending as much money as I was (well my insurance, something like $8k) you'd get a cookie every night, only cost them like $0.05 probably, and when fresh, they're very very good.
The hotel wasn't bad, but I have a very high standard for hotels (I always splurge when traveling, so stay at very high end hotels) It wasn't impressive for me, but may be for people not used to high end hotels. Plus my insurance was footing the bill, so I couldn't complain much anyway.
The one major disappointment I had (aside from not getting a cookie every night) was that the climate controls in the rooms make them VERY humid in the winter. During my two months there I stayed in 4 different rooms, they were all bad. I'd wake up in the middle of the night every night drenched in sweat...
Spencer's steak house is the best steak I've had in Spokane, but quite expensive... That's the best part of the hotel.
Was woken up by a housekeeper cleaning the room across from mine at 10:30 at night!! Slamming the door constantly! No complimentary coffee in the lobby... only Starbucks store. Unbelievable
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. No microwave, and oddly enough, no free wifi? Coffee maker leaked. They have a Starbucks in the building which was nice. Nothing that would keep us from staying there again when we're in town next.
Rooms and facility were well maintained and clean, staff was attentive and prompt. All that said the facility is staying to show its age, the decor, flooring, etc are all showing their age.
Stopped at this property for an overnight stay. Was very disappointed. No restaurant, no lounge open. Extra charges for River View and $22 to park, on a Sunday during COVID.
Front desk explained to me that I could park on the street for free, but safety could be a concern. I am a Hilton Honors member and I was very displeased.
3 stars for a 3 star hotel seemed fitting.
I checked in tonight and got told the wrong room number when I received my key card.
Needless to say, the card didn't work and I had to go back down to get it figured out.
The parking situation is kind of annoying too, but I may just get used to it after a day or two.
I'm here on business, so I get to choose which hotel I stay in. Based on first impressions, I wouldn't come here again.
Luckily, Demetrius was very helpful and understanding. He approached me to ask if I needed help when I was standing by the desk waiting.
He also got the situation fixed when the front desk agent seemed to be confused about what he was doing. Demetrius gets 5 stars from me.
That's the only positive thing I can say so far.
Very nice rooms, good lobby and restaurant, front desk staff could have been a bit friendlier when we requested extra blankets and pillows but we got what we needed.
I travel for work, gone 100+ days. Hilton Diamond. I tend to stay at home2suites. $20 a night for parking, nope. I will add that the service at this hotel is really high. You will feel appreciated as a customer.
Nice place. Rooms are not as nice as I would expect for a Doubletree, but clean and nice views. The steakhouse downstairs has great food.
Fantastic hotel and staff. Great location downtown.
Cleanliness was ok not amazing like it should be for a hotel of this caliber. Room was run down and needed repairs on arriving (shower curtain rod pulling out of wall) guest service was very polite and helpful as well as Engineers. For the price paid I expected more from them than the motel 6 accommodations they provided. Really sad cause this could be a very excellent hotel
A little older hotel. Like most DoubleTrees the location is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Some of the rooms haven't aged well, loud heaters, tiny clothes hangars, etc. But, all in all, a good place to spend a few nights in Spokane.
The chicken I had was the third most expensive breast I've ever encountered.
The Double Tree Hotel was clean and very convenient for enjoying downtown Spokane. I really appreciated the river view.
Clean room. They give you a cookie at check in. Elevators aren't in great condition.
Not impressed with this place. Room was dirty, toilet was not cleaned upon arrival, had urine stains and hair all over. Saw mold on the corners of the bathroom wall. Weird dark red-colored stains on the carpet leads us to wonder what happened in the room. Front desk rep looked like she hated her job and was very short with us. You have to pay to get decent Wi-Fi which we couldn't get complementary because we didn't book the room directly through them...so essentially had no Internet whatsoever. We did not have breakfast because it was expensive, found cheaper options in the city. And seriously, they offer 2 bottles of water in the room and charge a ridiculous amount for it if you drink them. The only nice thing about this place was the location. Next time we're in town, this will not be the place we stay at.
Went to Spencer's, over priced pretencious and had to send my several of us had to send our meat back. Oh yes the waiter had to "explain" the menu to us.
Always clean, always quiet.. Love being able to unplug and still be downtown Spokane
The staff were amazing! I wouldn't stay anywhere else
