Went to DoubleTree for a professional event. Friendly staff and servers. Excellent food. Large and clean ballroom
The hall was rather well furnished and the staff were the perfect level of invisibility.
Nice rooms and close enough to walk to from union station.
Attended an event at Doubletree service was excellent the room allowed for sound to be heard easily at the back of the room. reasonable experience
I was here for a conference. The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and housekeeping prompt and responsive.
Only been there for events, never overnight but it's alright. Parking sucks though, like the rest of the city.
Great staff and nice rooms and lobby. Would highly recommend!
Friendly staff, good conference rooms, great central location for travelling around and seeing all of Portland
Pretty central... Well close to transport that gets you central in Portland! Clean, large quiet rooms with a lovely bed!
The mattress was already worn and the shape of the people was marked, as for the rest it was a good stay at the hotel.
Clean nice. Service was great. Meeting room was nice and set up wonderfully.
Terrible place to stay. Rooms are dirty, and its obvious the maids who clean the rooms have too many to do a good job keeping them clean. The front desk staff don't communicate with each other, and all have a different story to tell about there policies, or procedures.
Standard small room - queen bed, small bathroom, no fridge. Walking distance to Portland Convention Center.
Hotel is ok. A bit older and could use renovation. The area around the hotel is full of homeless people and panhandlers. Good paid breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
Awesome place, front desk was very attentive. Took great care of our loud, annoying group! Haha
Bad experience at this hotel honestly, customer service was not the best. Everything looked old unliked described plus they charge 27 dollars / night for parking.
The room was not too clean and the front desk promised me an upgrade to a king suite room instead but it never happened. All this and my wife found some Mark on the curtains that looked like blood, that was disgusting.
Attended a veteran hiring event, very spacious facility.
In general the hotel seems worn but shows design touches that say it was a really nice place in its prime. I ended up in a suite room which was very spacious, but the plumbing fixtures didn't seem to work properly--there was low water pressure at the sink faucets, and the shower control was the most bizarre thing I'd ever used.
My main concern was with the staff training and responsiveness. For example, I needed to get another key and waited 15 minutes while two front-desk staff checked in just two people in front of me. Check-in shouldn't take that long. When one member of our party wanted to extend their stay, the person at the front desk said they'd need to get it approved by someone in the party but couldn't give us the name of that person!
Beautiful lobby, spacious rooms for hosting events, easy to find and relatively close, somewhat cheap parking
Clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
My family and I were there for an event. The whole place was clean and the staff was very friendly.
No refrigerator and room was not air conditioned when we first got in. Took a few hours but it did finally get the room cool.
Parking fees are embarrassing high as others have stated and no breakfast options.
Stunning building, incredible views, clean and friendly staff. Bravo!
Very comfortable hotel that's a quick ride on the light rail to th e convention center and many area restaurants.
Not very much sound proofing in the rooms and every time a toilet in another room flushed, ours also made a noise. Great location and clean rooms!
Reception staff very unprofessional and unfriendly. Room was below average, small, and not very clean as the name Hilton should carry not worthy of the charge they ask for and parking was 30 bucks. I will never consider the chain again.
Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Good location, close to MAX and very comfortable room. Will visit again.
Room was ready early! Clean and nothing to complain about.
Went for a caterred event. Food and service was great.
Went here for an event - nice, large event rooms, ample parking, and proximity to the park and transit were all nice.
Great food, good av support, generally fantastic to work with!
Our experience was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and the staff was polite and accommodating. The hotel was also very close to the Max line to get into downtown easily. I would highly recommend the Doubletree for a stay.
Very skeptical about my stay but a simple patience turned out for the better. A special staff accommodate me with patience and gratitude. This place deserve my 5 stars which I rarely give.
Nice hotel downtown in Portland. Pretty friendly. Parking is $25/day. Queen room was small but clean and well appointed. Great gym and pool.
Nice staff, food at bar is very good, rooms are clean.
I attended the Double Tree for a mini anime convention. The event was on the main floor of the hotel, but they did not seem prepared to handle the attendance. The hallway felt stuffy and the gaming room was really hot. It was a hot day in general in Portland, and most people were looking for areas with AC to hang out in. Unfortunately the AC in the gaming area and main hall was not enough. People in cosplays were suffering with the heat, sweating. I do appreciate that they provided free water stations for people to hydrate themselves.
Always great service for our annual professional event. The only complaint I have is due to the lack of bathrooms in the event space. We have to cross the entrance to the lobby to use the restroom.
Food and service were great, our server checked back often and the setting was comfortable and clean
I went here for a work meeting i wasnt here very long but what ive seen it was pretty nice inside and the bathrooms were wonderful and they had pleasent and helppful employees helpping me to were to goand if you dont feel like talking to anyone they have tv screens that tell you different events going on that day where and when inside of the building
Portland is a super sustainable city, well worth staying well and riding a bicycle or bus
Fairly clean, pretty small and outdated room though and lots of hidden fees they don't tell you about upon reservation. Customer service was 50/50. Has lots of conference rooms and ballrooms though.
Comfortable and well-maintained. Reasonably good & inexpensive restaurant, but no free breakfast, no free wifi.
Had a HVAC class by Daikin in 1 of the banquet rooms. It was catered for lunch it was a great experience. If I were to stay in Portland I would stay there
Our stay here was very comfortable. They allowed Us in early to our room which was really nice. It's located convenient to so many places in the Lloyd Center District. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to stay at this hotel.
The rooms overall were good, my problem was that the shower head was leaking, and the pillows weren't all that comfortable
Nice hotel, friendly welcome. My room was just right for us.but the parking is not free.
Just had a major refitting. Things are looking real nice. Rooms, banquet, Executive Meeting Center. All got a new look. Very nice. Love to see you there!
Everything was great, Other than the shower pressure and noise from the train. Every one was super friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable.
The front desk staff was spectacular and made our stay and conference a great experience. The Governor's suites are fantastic for hosting clients. The location is also good, with great local restaurants within walking distance.
The event space was handled well. The A/V people were knowledgeable and did a great job getting me set up to present.
Pet friendly with $25 fee. Perfect for access to train for down town. Very clean friendly helpful staff. Reasonable over night parking
Checked in at 11pm and was welcomed with still warm cookies. A little pricey, but great location. Restaurant inside was fantastic
Nice hotel and a nice room. The staff was very accommodating when we wanted a rollaway bed. It is also a short walk away from the convention center, which was great for my group of con goers.
Poor service, impolite personnel, never stay here , don't recommend it at all
Room was great! Very large and clean. Bathroom was very handicap accessible, with lots of bathroom railings and a detachable shower head. The pool was really nice. The waiter at the bar, Kip, was very friendly. Overall a really great place to stay.
The ballroom was a bit warm during our event, but the entire place (including the bathrooms) was very clean.
The catered lunch at the Breast Friends Event was great. The service was top notch.
Didn't get to explore the Hotel for the event I was attending but the staff was friendly and organized.
I attended a music and radio survey at double tree on monday it was a really fun evening
Great location. Large rooms with friendly staff. Great Value
The Double Tree was a very nice venue for our business workshop. Parking was convenient and the staff were super helpful when I needed help finding my meeting. I look forward to my next visit.
Great location. Best breakfast at any hotel I've ever stayed in. You pay for it, but it rocks... except for the bacon... the bacon is sweet... no thank you.
I was attending a hiring event, the location was warm and welcoming.
Overpriced. Bad location for visiting Portland. Exceptionally small rooms. Parking costs were ridiculous. But they give you a cookie when you arrive so I guess they think that makes up for everything else.
Fair prices during CovID. Otherwise way too expensive
Nice rooms, way too expensive restaurant and no where to sit in the smoking/hanging outside area.
Fantastic accommodations in a prime location downtown Portland. The staff is totally great as well. Would get 5 stars but the food in the hotel restaurant was disappointing and parking is $35/day if you have the valet park.
Conference rooms were perfectly lit. Restaurant had amazing food!
