Pretty nice place, I stayed here one time for the retro game swap meet since I was too tired to lug my stuff all the way home. It certainly isn't a cheap place but the room was very nice and everything was clean and comfortable as one should expect at a hotel.

I really liked that it was very accessible to the event space and parking was provided and easy to use. I wouldn't turn family and visitors away from here. It's even somewhat close to the convention center as well for the large scale events there.

I may not have used this place for more than a quick place to rest my head but I liked it.

Large room nice appointments and furniture. Our room had a view on the 13th floor of the city and river. Shopping mall across the street, 3 public transit stops with in 2 blocks.
$$ parking, $$ breakfast, $$ wifi. The TVs in the rooms are small, the bathrooms are old but in good shape. The bar has food that is good $$$. There is a restaurant but it wasn't open when we were there.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the downtown area. Anything you could want within a 10 minute drive. If you don't feel like driving plenty of bars and food places to walk to. Stayed for two nights and it was everything we could have asked for. Staff was very quick to get us checked in with our cookies and the room was immaculate!

This is an older double tree. They've done some updates. In the financial district next to a large mall and sketxhy max stop. The rooms are very nice though and hotel staff very friendly and courteous.

The room upgrade is a really nice touch alongside the early check-in. They have a members only floor and the view from the elevator is pretty nice. Definitely a great option when visiting Portland!

They give you a coupon to use the internet but don t explain how to use it.

Customer checking wasn t very helpful on how to do anything.

$25 a night to park a car when the mall has free parking down the road.

Extremely spacious, updated rooms and warm customer service made this a great stay. The location is good, but like all hotels in Portland, watch out for the added parking costs if you have a car. Self-parking did seem to be a bit cheaper here than other locations in the city.

Great location:right by the Max Rail stop and by Lloyd's Center Mall. Fifteen minutes to downtown. That being said, the hotel needs updating and freshening. While the lobby looks like it has been renovated, the room furnishings show quite a bit of wear and the color scheme seems to be mostly browns. At check in, asked if an upgrade was available ( we are diamond level), but were told that hotel is sold out. Next day asked if anything had opened up and were again told no. Yet on the website, there were rooms available that would be considered upgrades. Had a hard time getting work done as internet was really slow, maybe because hotel was so full. Restaurant and bar serve good food. Happy hour is very reasonable, with some good choices. Restaurant, bar and valet staff were great--friendly, helpful and courteous.

Our rooms were very nice and clean. The general vibe of the hotel is that it is well-maintained and we had a decent view from our balcony, as well. Unfortunately, neither parking nor breakfast were free. The hotel is situated in a scenic and natural part of the city, tending more towards quiet, emptier streets. This is not a party area if that's what you're looking for.

Same problem as previous reviewer. Sheets way too short, touching the bare bed where everybody else's feet have been. Gross.

Also, appears to only be one functioning elevator to my room (When I took the other one, there is a firewall that prevents you from accessing the other half of the hallway, seriously?)

Since the ONE functioning elevator takes forever and is always loaded beyond capacity, I decided to take the stairs back down to the lobby. You have to step out onto a platform outside (precarious and scary). In the staircase, there was a person smoking marijuana. It was also dimly lit, EXTREMELY filthy and there was leaking pipes and dropped ceiling tiles/construction material.

This hotel is in serious need of a renovation and better security.

Good
