Room was extremely cold, you had to hold the handle down to the toilet to get it to flush, and you had to play the shower for 20 minutes. And the lady was very unfortunate accommodating

Rooms nice, facilities are nice but what I'd really like to focus on is the lack of comfort within the room. "This hotel was engineered to ONLY blow warm air during the colder months and ONLY blow cool air during the warmer months." I lie here now at 3:15 in the morning. My attempt at sleeping ran from about 1:45-3am at which point I gave up on sleeping as I realized I was lying in bed nude, no covers on, sweating. They do provide fans!! I now hear a noisy box fan running next to the open window. Upon careful review, I believe I have the fan facing the proper direction, although I'm not sure as I can barely feel any air moving. I've never heard of a hotel where AC is cancelled during the winter. What are "cooler" months anyways? Here is the key to your sauna, and if you're uncomfortable, feel free to chase down a fan. By now I'm convinced this fan is a placebo.

Buyer Beware

The room i got smelled like an ashtray, & the bathroom smelled of body odor. And i woke up with bug bites on my foot. Now I'm not saying bed bugs, but you never know... After booking what i believed to be a pretty nice hotel, I have come to find that is most certainly not the case, as the extraordinarily high prices do not reflect the upscale environment one would expect. Our room came with no amenities like a safe or a fridge. There is no hot tub in the pool area. There is no free continental breakfast. You have to pay for parking. Next time I come to Omaha I will find somewhere else to sleep.

It was mostly good - but one HUGE negative is you can't control the temperature in your room. The staff will provide you with a fan, or heater upon request. Don't make the same mistake I did by realizing this at 3 in the morning, waking in a sweat trying to figure out why the thermostat isn't working.

The rooms are pretty spacious and the hotel is located right downtown. The are a lot of things to do near by and the shuttle will take you around to other places, including the airport. The staff is friendly, but the hotel could use some updates. It looks like it has been around awhile and they only turn the heat on in the coldest months and the ac during the hottest months. Any time in between you will need to get either a fan or a space heater from the front desk if you want to change the temperature in your room.

1st room smelled like stale cigarettes... we don't smoke, was giving my son a headache. They were great and moved us right away, 2nd room was better. Our flight got cx so were stuck here, I paid thru AA partner for the hotel, when I got here they said I hadn't pd... not sure why I gave my cc info to AA partner on phone while booking then? This morning, ugh... 2 charges for the room! This whole thing has been frustrating.

We checked in at 3:30 had to wait a little over an hour until the room was ready , when we got to our room I noticed the bathroom had dirty towels and garbage from the previous people. We went back to the front desk and had to wait for another room . The desk gave us drink vouchers and breakfast vouchers, the breakfast was absolutely terrible . The free shuttle was nice .

Only been here for training seminars, never stayed. With that in mind, the staff is helpful and friendly. Conference rooms are clean and well maintained. Location had a fun and interesting setup.

Terrible experience. the room was blazing hot, when I asked for a fan they said they were out, and to just crack the door open. The tub took 15 minutes to drain from a 10 minute shower.

Hotel is in a great location, right downtown, maybe 1t minute walk to Old Market. Rooms are very comfortable, with very nice pillows. Pretty much your standard DoubleTree room. The bedside lamps have outlets so that is always a great touch for your devices.

We stayed there last night in the presidential suite when we arrived we got great service from the front desk girls very nice and helpful so when we checked out the guy running it was not friendly to no one checking out when we got to the desk he never looked at us never asked how our stay was nothing no thank you at all keep in mind we spent way over 400 on that room and for him to act that way was very disappointing so when we left I called and asked for a manager and guess who it was it was him so I told him he needed to be friendly to customers and he said he didn't mean to be that way, haha you did mean it or you wouldn't have acted like an you know what so I'm not done yet I will get ahold of corporate, I spent a lot of money to be treated that way so very angry at him and him only

I really like this hotel & this is why...

-Staff is very nice.
-Rooms are big, comfy, clean.
-Breakfast buffet is great, but expensive.
-The best part is the location to downtown! & I love downtown Omaha. Very easy walk to some really great bars, restaurants, breweries & shopping. & a really great farmers market on Saturdays!

Paid $140 for 1 night with parking and the room was only satisfactory. I don't pay more than $100 UI new everything is excellent. Food at restaurant was very expensive. $5 for an English muffin or $11 for pancakes is outrageous. Not worth the money at all.

The Hilton double tree as a hotel is not worthy of 5 stars. However, the dedication and care of the staff made my visit more than enjoyable. Specifically Nicole at the front desk and Leah at the bar made my few days in Omaha wholesome. I had multiple colleagues staying in the hotel and they all agreed .

The people at the front desk are very accommodating; they validated our parking, found us a cart for our luggage, and gave me a small sewing kit to fix a button that came off. Our room is clean and very nice, with a chair, desk, dresser, large TV, large closet and and nice clean bathroom. I will definitely stay at a Double Tree again.

Justin Bisom is arguably one of the worst employees I've had to deal with. I'm in Omaha for 3 months, helping with the flood relief mission in the area for USACE and the Army. All I needed was a parking pass for the garage.

So far, I've waited over a week where I've left voicemails and emails with Justin Bisom on the daily. I finally received the pass, only for it to be voided. I called the day I got it and was told I'd be able to have the situation fixed in the morning. Instead, I called the next morning to find out he's out for the day.

This level of service is, without question, the worst I've ever had. I'd have quicker service if I went to the DMV. I can't believe that this man somehow made it to any type of management, but it's a sad day for Doubletree when they couldn't find someone better than this...

It is definitely a dated hotel that needs some upgrading. 1 the property is in a very good location close to corporate headquarters and some fun dining and drinking establishments but once you leave the check-in desk the bank of five elevators only had one was working. I was alerted at booking the pool is unavailable and that is totally fine but it took forever to get up or down to 17th floor. Inside the room there is no clock or slarm. That is just the oddest thing I've ever seen in my life at a hotel. The coffee tray with the coffee brewer is sitting on a stand that does not have any electrical outlet near it, you have to actually carry it over to another table to plug in and make a coffee or tea.

Stayed here before going to a show at the Orpheum. When we first checked in we basically just dropped off our items and left. When we came back at 11:30pm we noticed that the room was very dirty. There were chips on the floor and dried food on the night stand. There was also trash on the other side of the far side of the bed that was not ours. When I called to ask about it there was no apology. They said they would send someone up with new keys for a different room. They included 2 free buffet breakfasts with the new keys, but gratuity not included. While I understand gratuity is deserved to the staff that serves you the next morning, it s a pretty bold apology since they still expect you to want to spend your money at a place that is unclean.
The new room was a bit cleaner but still had trash on the floor. Clearly the cleaning staff needs to be re-trained.

Additionally, the rooms are quite dated. There are stains all over the walls, water stains on the ceilings and the carpet is ripped all over. The mini fridge looked as though someone had hammered it which was very unsightly. Extension cords throughout the room that looked mangled. And finally, they only do heat in the cooler months and air conditioning in the warmer months . They offer fans if you need them, but even with the fan our room got up to 80 degrees at night.

Worst hotel ever. Checked with other people and reviews to find out what happened to me is the same as everyone. First of all A/C is turned off in winter. You put it on 60 degrees it blows hot. Other people here said the same thing. Second I have unmentionable things stolen when the staff would clean. I thought it was just me but I intentionally left something somewhere to make sure it wasn't just me and when they cleaned it was gone. DO NOT stay here. Place is terrible.

Excellent location however it costs 10$ to park and you have to pay it each time you move your car. Also do not have full control of room temp. No in room fridge/microwave and room service/ breakfast is very pricey. Clean room and facility.

We booked our annual company sales kick off here. They had a great staff and everything was set up very nicely. The parking garage is conveniently located attached to the hotel. Would recommend their services for anyone looking to host an event.

Update: the coffee machine doesn't work and I've called multiple times to a front desk and guest service line that is non responsive. They're simply not taking calls. And finally I texted someone and they came up with a new machine. Seems like I do have to do more work as a guest than them

I was disappointed in this doubletree. The outside and lobby scream modern and updated. The rooms are outdated. The parking is terrible. Sadly, the staff was very helpful either. When I stood there waiting to check in the two individuals completely ignored I was there and kept on with their conversation. I have stayed at many doubletree so to say I was disappointed was an understatement. The food was not worth the price either. The setup of the breakfast was nice but the presentation of the food was not. The scrambled eggs had too much water in them. The bacon and sausage were not good either. I gave up and got a yogurt! The yoplait yogurt was good.

The service was really good. The room was OK, but not much better than rooms half the price. The TV was discolored and the ice machine on our floor didn't work. It was nice to have a parking ramp next door.

Amenities are nice but the rooms are very dated. They are in dire need of an update. The AC situation is awful... they brought me a tower fan to compensate for not having the AC activated?? Really?! Not for this price!!

The room was nice, I liked the shuttle to/from airport. The breakfast buffet was also good. Their regular food menu was the one disappointment. In my opinion they are trying to be too fancy and not offer simple food. I wanted simple french toast and they had to over do it.

Was disappointed. The room was so hot and no way to control it. When we turned the heat down and the fan on it made too much noise. Too hot to sleep. Breakfast buffet was not good. For the price not happy. One positive we did have a good pizza delivered to the room.
Also charged for parking and the ramp was empty. Will not be back.

Great place. Friendly. Excellent redone decor. We stayed in a s*+" hole in Columbia MO for 5 dollars less last night. Last night we felt neglected cold and unsafe. Tonight we feel pampered.

The ballroom was lovely and spacious, and it was easy to find our way around. Since I was wearing heels I appreciated the soft carpet and wide stairways. The lobby is also nice-looking and comfortable. The food was mediocre, though, and the service not very good. Everybody at my table was out of water.

The staff is wonderful and the beds are comfy. My only complaint is the room temperature. It's heat only in the winter. My room was so hot! I opened a vent on the window and it helped a little. I understand that it is done for efficiency, but if everyone has to open their window, won't that drive up the heating cost? It seems more economical to let your guests control the individual room temperature.

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, clean and well kept. Friendly staff. My only gripe is the food is much overpriced for what it is(due to it being a fine hotel) however I've had better food elsewhere for less or around the same price point. Would still recommend this hotel. We had a nice view from our floor.
