So I've tried. This was my second time giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'll skip the drudgery of broken elevators, incompetent front desk staff, understaffed, rooms being run down and overall lack of any organization whatsoever and get right to the, "they assured my charges had been reversed and everything was straightened out" when in fact they weren't. And when I called to discuss, I was told they didn't have a manager on duty and Amaris hung up on me. If this is a Hilton honor, I can't wait to see how they treat non "honored" guests.

Nice clean rooms, little expensive for food and drinks, was told they had shuttle for the airport upon reservation and check in but when I went to check out I was told there was no shuttle and had to pay for a taxi. Only to find out from the taxi driver that they should have taken care of that and not me. I will be complaining. Otherwise nice stay.

It's a lovely remodel by Hilton. The cookies are amazing and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The only reason I rated it a 3 is because the rooms could be cleaner. The bed skirts on both beds were dirty all over with spills and skuffs. The carpet was sticky and I had to wash my feet before getting in bed or putting shoes on. Flip flops were a must. There is a lot of a noise too. You can hear guests down the hall and outside. But I will end on a good note. . . The beds were soooo comfortable, I slept like a baby. The location is great. I ran the 2.4 miles to the beach and walked everywhere without a problem. Plus it's so close to the testing center!!! All in all, I'd stay there again, I'd just ask for a cleaner room next time.

Back in November 2018 there was an issue with missing items and I was in contact with the previous General Manager. I made a claim with the hotel and was informed that a claim would be made with Petra. However, according to Petra a claim was never made . Fast forward after continually speaking with Petra, front desk staff, and manager, Anthony, I also spoke with the assistant General Manager, Michael Cox. After getting the needed information he apologized numerous times and he stated that wanted to take care of the situation because it had been going ongoing for 6 months. I appreciate his time and leadership in making sure that this was handled and I am pleased that heard my claim and honored my request.

The only request that I would make is that when items are left in a room, front desk management should have access to the housekeeping storage area for them to be able to verify items. One should not need to wait until the next morning for housekeeping which can cause additional problems at hand.

Thank You

Well it s a little difficult to describe my stay considering I never made it past the worst front desk attendant I have encountered. I booked the room on Priceline in which it was pay now and non refundable. I ended up getting to the doubletree around 1130 and had work at 9 am. I gave the man my drivers license then came the area of the deposit. I currently had a temp card from my bank and since my name was not on it he would not rent me the room. My friend was also with me he had his debit card with him, however he only had a photocopy and a digital identification. This of course was unacceptable. I ve seen my friend use this digital Id in several locations some requiring him to email it. So my phone died and I sat in the lobby trying to figure a solution. I told the man I could pull up my banking app which has my name, the card number, routing number, account number. Everything one would need for verification, he agreed after minutes of pleading. Then right before my phone powers on he comes up to my I called my supervisor I need a physical letter from the bank. !!!! Are you serious!!!!! This kid wanted to show his power as a desk attendant flaring his ego. What a tool. This was all after we had stayed at the doubletree in Culver City for a week. Apparently they have no affiliation . So I tell him ok I give up cancel the reservation for me. He says he will but Priceline charged me. I ask him for help so he gives me a phone number right after grabs the security gaurd in to watch over because he knows he s a pos and deserves his a$$ beat. Then it turns out Priceline and Hilton in both ends wanted the other to contact them. I left 140 down and went to a new place around 1245.

Great hotel for a good price. Clean. Friendly and helpful employees. Saul at the front desk helped me print out my boarding passes when I didn't have access to a computer. Fitness room well supplied. They were offering free bkfst as a promotion and the buffet was delicious.

The front desk representative named Maria is a very rude woman, I've stayed at this hotel multiple yes I never have a problem unless she's at the front desk. always as rude as possible. I enjoyed this place once but won't be coming back cause I really don't wanna see her face and I hate her hospitality.
