This place was everything we asked for! It was a very beautiful scenery for an outside wedding and the staff were fantastic. Amy was such a huge help to make our wedding day as special as it was. We couldn't of asked for a better place to have our wedding and reception.

We unfortunately were seated in the portable dance floor area as we were eating the person in charge a surly brunette short and stout,as she stood there with her arms crossed and a expression of abject intolerance on her face I did wonder if we were under dressed or perhaps had a odor she did not approve of ? As the Dance time approached we as a group at the table were not informed nor asked if we could relocate.Instead the wait staff cleared around us as we attempted to have conversations with friends and family .At one point I inquired as to what was up? One of the younger staff pointed at her watch and exclaimed "Its time for the dance"....like we had some insight into there schedule? ,,,,Rude and assumptive behavior are not a skill, neither is arrogance ....all in all we as a table were made to feel at a minimum uncomfortable......I have a dollar that the overseer Surly brunette told her staff to move us....she defiantly had the look and the attitude.Having some experience in the service industries I am dissapointed.
We used LCC for our wedding and we would highly recommend. Amy was so easy to talk to and made sure our questions were answered as quickly as possible. The food was delicious and they worked with us to create our perfect menu. We actually did a breakfast buffet and it was unique but Amy made sure we had everything to make the dinner work without breaking the budget. Beautiful setting for pictures as well!
Nice facility! We built it! We are founding members with our names on the wall! We paid $9,000 as a Capital Certificate to build the NEW La Crosse Country Club! Yes, WE built it, along with lots of our friends from the old Club on Losey. We moved to Las Vegas in 2004...we requested our $9,000 back after 2 years of being on the "demit" list, so 2002. At the time, the Club was only refunding 10 or so per year on the list, so we expected to wait 3 years or so. After all, our friends who asked for their money back all got it within 2-4 years or so. So here we are. It is 2017! They still will not give us our $9,000 back. NO interest on it. No reason for them to keep it. Apparently now they only give back the money if you DIE!!! They have held our money hostage for almost 20 years out of sheer MEANNESS! Do not join this pit of vipers! Stay away. Go to the municipals or Cedar Creek...just STAY AWAY from this hideous bunch of cheapskates. Thank you. --Susan L. Halverson, Charter Member, La Crosse Country Club
Attended a wedding and reception. All was, nice, but I can't say anything was exceptional. I spotted a hard water stained flute sitting in the groom's place at the head table immediately upon entering...had to ask to have it replaced. Came w an explanation, when all we needed was a new flute. For my taste, food was decent, not decadent. I have no complaints. I have no kudos.
We recently had our wedding here, and it was wonderful. Amy is truly amazing and goes out of her way to make your day very special. We could not be more grateful for this hardworking team!
Amy and the LCC Staff went above and beyond for our August 2019 wedding! Amy has the most energetic, easy going personality that anyone can get along with and she s so helpful with the whole wedding process! The La Crosse Country Club is a beautiful venue both inside and out. Our outdoor ceremony couldn t have been more beautiful with the perfect back drop of the golf course. You make your way upstairs to even more beautiful and elegant reception space. The whole banquet/bar staff is super professional and know how to make the whole night flow so smoothly. We got so many compliments on not only the beautiful venue, but the most amazing food. The Chefs are incredible and will cater to any changes/requests you need. We were able to spend the whole day getting ready in the locker rooms, which made the day flow so smooth. I can t say enough about this beautiful and elegant wedding venue, a must see in the La Crosse area. Thank you for everything Amy and the LCC staff!
The golf course is hands down the best within hours of La Crosse. That is if you like smooth greens, manicured fairways, and beautiful scenery. Add in really good food, a pool to relax, and a staff that is always looking to improve and provide excellent service and you have a place that you want to spend time at with friends and family.
This is a beautiful place, with first rate staff, professional service and a scenic, challenging golf course. I was there when they hosted the Wisconsin Women's Amateur tournament. They were very well prepared and organized, accommodating of dozens of players and spectators and extraordinarily pleasant during two days of competition that included two full luncheons. Those who live in the Lacrosse area and are able to take advantage of membership in this Club are lucky, indeed!
My husband and I got married last weekend, October 24th. Amy is a bride's best friend. She helps with everything! From giving you recommendations on vendors, to the perfect food tastings (ALSO there are no minimum food budgets), to fluffing your dress seconds before walking down the aisle. Amy made wedding planning a breeze for us! Even with a life changing pandemic!! I have (our friends are getting married their next spring) and will always recommend having a wedding at the La Crosse Country Club.
We recently had our wedding here. Amy and her staff were great to work with - they were ready to accommodate any requests that we made. Everything went smoothly because of their hard work and careful planning. Amy was so responsive to all of our questions, and made the planning beforehand very enjoyable. Chef John was great for our reception meal. He listened to, and carried out all of the details we asked of him for our wedding meal. Such a beautiful venue, we had wonderful experience!
The La Crosse Country Club has been a place where our entire family has enjoyed the amenities (at all ages) from the pool to golf, to the dining and the special events. It's a beautiful place, we've made many friends, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is so much to do!
Just went here for our daughter's wedding reception. Everything about this place is absolutely beautiful. The tables, chairs, decor, fantastic. The wait staff and bartenders did an excellent job. They even went above and beyond to specially make some gluten free items for me. I highly recommend this venue.
We had our wedding at the La Crosse Country Club on June 22nd, 2019, and we absolutely could not have had a better experience. We had both our wedding ceremony and our reception at the club, and both aspects went better than we even hoped. Amy was simply fantastic in helping us organize and prepare for the wedding, and the entire staff did an amazing job of giving us the elegant and classy affair we were striving to have that day. Many of our guests have told us that the dinner was the absolute best meal they have ever had at a wedding, so we truly feel indebted to the La Crosse Country Club for giving us what all couples dream about, a perfect wedding day!
This country club and swimming meet event is managed professionally from the moment you enter the facilty until you leave the staff are very attentive. This facility is so up market and extremely well coordinated with an abundance of disciplined, courtesy and friendly employees in attendance. Our big problem was the swim meet was called off after a few events due to adverse weather conditions. This event will be on our calendar for next year.
ALMOST the perfect place for a wedding and reception. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. The venue was beautiful. But the snooty club members made us feel like intruders the following day when we went back to retrieve various items and cars that had been left there the night before. Thank you to the LaCrosse Country Club and their staff !!! And to those crabby old biddies..., pttt!
My son and I were in the area, found it on Google Maps. Made the trip across town only to find it's a private course & not open to the public. Beautiful course and facility.
