We came with a high expectation of this property. We communicated a few times before arrival with Hilton and made some arrangements as it was our honeymoon as well.

Upon arrival for early check in, was recognised as HH Gold. Was told we were upgraded to a studio. Sure sounds good. Appreciated the upgrade & early check in.

Upon entering the room, you could see it showed signs of wear and tear. Dated room and no welcome gift whatsoever. Could see some water damage on the walls to the bathroom too.

An hour later all hell broke loose. Hot water was literally leaking from the ceiling of the bathroom through the lights. It was like a gushing waterfall.

We rang reception immediately and the reaction was Oh? . They said they will send someone.

We waited 10minutes and no one showed. We rang again and asked to be move to a new room immediately. Our plan to head out for lunch was dashed as we waited to be moved. This should have been suggested immediately by reception, not await to be suggested by the customer to move to a new room when their bathroom has a hot waterfall gushing through the ceiling.

Got a new room but the same category room. Nothing was provided to make up for that horrifying experience. Disappointing.

Expect the best because of the fame of the DoubleTree series of Hilton ... standard this section is normal

The hotel team members were very helpful, the hotel was always clean and the environment was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast spread is great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai. It is located a few minutes away from the Mall of the Emirates. The beach and other tourist venues are easily accessible.

the hotel itself was okay, the room nothing special, although the hotel is actually still relatively young.

My room 213 (smoking room) already looked pretty shabby, the ceiling lighting, which originally consisted of halogen spots, was replaced with LED spots in all light colors and light intensities, therefore generally a very unsatisfactory atmosphere. A bulb on a bedside lamp was broken, it wasn't changed in the whole week. Note: The mobile phone pictures I posted were subsequently brightened.

The bathroom was also nothing special, no shower curtain or shower cubicle, only a narrow glass wing, so there was always a flood after showering. Generally not an inviting state. The small bathroom at home, which is already 20 years old, definitely looks better.

The public area of the hotel was in very good condition. Breakfast and coffee was good staff friendly. The Mall of the Emirates is around 10 minutes' brisk walk, and the Metro station 15 to 20 minutes.

It is close to Mall of the Emirates. Hygiene and toilets need more attention.

Very bad the room have smell bad and housekeeping didn t answer i ask him to put towels in room after remove they didn t do anything hotel no manager to talk with him , never ill come again

The worst customer service I have ever seen in a double tree hotel. Lousy receptionist, could attend to my family needs at check in. The duty manager can solve the problem. Just realized that the hotel facilities are weak, and the rooms were not clean enough. If I had known, I would not book a single hour. The Hilton Honors and the Twitter account did not help much. The all refuse to share the contact information of the manager.

LOVELY HOTEL ...and very helpful staff...my housekeeper Mr. Eddy was very sweet & very talented with towel animation which my son really loved...thanks eddy

One of the worst if not the worst hotel i have ever been to, room setvice is horrible, when you try to book from the phone they will lie to you so you jist book, like they told us that there is 2 ( 2 bedroom, and 1 living room) next to each other, but when we arrived they told us there is only one ( 2 bedrooms , 1 living room) in each floor!

Very good option to stay in Dubai. In front of the Mall Of The Emirates (the closed ski area) and also has carrefour. Excellent option for general purchases and food. Could improve ma sink

Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. I Booked using Hotels.com which showed me the rates that I have to pay at the property but ithey were arguing with me that I have to pay about 22% more which is inaccurate. Also booked for a 2 bedroom apartment where the master bedroom with the bathroom has two single beds while the other room has the king size bed where there is no bathroom. I asked them if they have the opposite layout or if they can switch the beds. They were inflexible at all. More like a 2.5 star hotel

The Hotel worth the Value of the money payed. Each and every member of the staff is so accommodating, helpful and cheerful special appreciation to Chief Ali who showed us excellent hospitality and tasty food. Thanks also to Ahmed Rose and each and every member of the reception staff. We do really appreciate so much making our stay a remarkable one.

Rooms are spacious ... location is great!

Service ... it's a Hilton... reasonably priced services and food ... don't expect alcohol ... it's a dry hotel

An excellent place to stay with family. We honestly don t have anything to complain about. The staff are friendly and always ready to render assistance. They all made our stay worthwhile. I appreciate Ben, dolly and Isaku( Isaac). Meal time is orderly and the food is fantastic . We enjoyed our meals. . Thanks guys I will be back and I will recommend the hotel to friends. Cleanliness is 100 percent.

It's a fairly old looking hotel, definitely not the DoubleTree by Hilton normal standard.
Also just FYI its a DRY hotel so no bar, no alcohol. This information is not visible anywhere when you make a reservation through Hilton honors app. Very disappointing.

Had an amazing time stay at double tree Dubai. From the lovely room to efficient and courteous staff members to the delightful breakfast it was perfect for our small family of three. Staying there only added to the great time we had in Dubai. Highly recommended to all

Too busy... But quite adequate as a stop gap hotel. Proximity to Emirates mall not bad

We lived in a two-room apartment on the 3rd floor. Cons: very dark room, from the window only a view of the second wing of the hotel and the construction site in front of the mall. In addition to the lack of natural light in the room, there are very few lamps for lighting, so it was dark day and night. There are very few outlets. I had to turn off the table lamps in order to charge the phones. To be in the shower, you need to climb over a wide side, which is very difficult to do without preparation.
On the plus side: a nice big refrigerator, stove, microwave and washing machine. Two bathrooms. Nice big comfortable bed! Housekeeping is good, but not every day (1 time per week). Change of towels every day.
The staff tries very hard. At the reception desk, Russian-speaking friendly employees (2 people) will always help and prompt.
Breakfasts are excellent, designed for different taste habits. Croissants and coffee are beyond praise!
The pool with sun loungers is always in the shade. Very good in hot weather: the water is not very hot, not hot, breeze and shade! Purely!
In general, the hotel is certainly not new, but very comfortable!

great place to stay as its against traffic. Also only 7 mins from emirates mall by walking. However, staff may not be as friendly and they do not top up the toiletries for u unless u ask though... but overall its ok for short stay

The friendly and attentive service from all the staff at the Double Tree by Hilton Al Barsha made my week long stay a very pleasant experience. The serviced apartment was very well equipped and the bed was unexpectedly very comfortable. Any request was attended to promptly.
A special mention must be made of the Bistro 55 breakfast which seemed very popular. The personal greeting for me by the bistro staff every morning was a lovely welcome. The choices for the breakfast buffet were varied and well presented.
Chef Ali is very knowledgeable about dietary intolerances and personally supervised and cooked my food preferences. I really appreciated his concern for my welfare.
I stayed in Al Barsha because it was close to my family but found the area very convenient in many respects. To be greeted by name by almost every member of staff was the highlight of my stay.

The hotel was good but to provide accommodation for the transit people for Kuwait and Saudi via Dubai for 14 days hotel has lowered they facilities. If this Hotel is 4 star Hotel than they have to provide the facilities of 4 star hotel by charging there standard rate. But to accommodate more people they had lowered there facilities in collaboration with local agents.

Amazing stay for my parents started with upgrade of room for my mum' birthday by Shady. It was best room with balcony on high floor with great view on MOE, construction noise was not noticed by parents. Nice birthday complimentary chocolate cake arranged by Bizek from RD. All team were smiley and welcoming. Cleanliness was not always perfect and daily cleaning sometimes was very late. For me it was felt that there is shortage of staff in hotel, but still they stayed professional and tried to accommodate our requests on time. Thank you for our lovely stay.

They fed excellently, there is a supermarket nearby, but the sea has a free shuttle several times a day, breakfasts and dinners (can be changed for lunches), fed excellently

The hotel and room was kept in excellent condition and in well organised manner, it comes with all the required amenities. Which includes a gym, and a pool. The in-keepers are respectful and were there if any service was required as per the customer staying in the hotel. I recommend this hotel by giving it a 5/5 rating as the prices are also well reasonably priced.

Again Hilton never fails me in any of it's brands; the rooms are amazingly furnished with it's spacious size and the great in room dinning experience. The breakfast as usual is not to be missed in any Hilton brands cause it's simply fulfill every taste and food concerned personal. Thank you Double Tree Al Barsha and see you soon

Nice and comfort hotel in strategic area. Restaurant expensive, pool is there, yes, in shadow place and small (just to say, yes we got in list)

Emirates chauffeur drove around the area for 10 or 15 minutes to find it but got there in the end with a bit of help from the Satnav. Good hotel with good facilities. Breakfast was also good. Mall is 10 minutes walk away.

I like this hotel because of the location and their breakfast. It is just behind emirates mall from where you can easily get a metro to any place. Marina is pretty close by to this hotel where you have plenty of things to do.

Had a good stay, friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities, variety of food for breakfast. Close proximity to the mall and metro station.

Nice hotel located near the ski slope but the maintenance of the rooms is not at the rendezvous (salt carpets, sink and shower faucet system failing ..)

Loved the customer service. They were so friendly. Breakfast was good. Bathroom excellent. I just didn't like that there were little stains on the carpet and on one of the chairs in the room. Aside that the room was cozy!

Very bad hygiene, dirty room (5 days without vaccum), long hair on fresh towel, insects on the floor, sticky tables at restaurant. very bad management, not customer oriented at all. This is one of my worst hotel experiences ever. Add to that expensive to what you get.

It s a good hotel and near to the Mall of Emirates (2 blocks walking), but as there s a lot of construction around the site, the view and neighborhoods is not so welcoming.
