Amazing golf course with a cheap membership that you can get your money's worth back with the discount at the restaurant. Great driving range, even at the busiest times there's still room for more golfers

The most budget friendly courses around with a nice set of holes. FSU students receive a steep discount on memberships. Club house's food can be pricey but the full bar is wonderful. The range is adequate but don't look for any frills.

FSU golf course, pretty easy to get into and is usually in pretty good shape. Muni type course that isn t too tough and a great place to practice. The membership really makes it affordable. It s got some good practice facilities as well.

Just playing a round at a nice course will always earn a 5 star rating with me. Only concern at this course is pace of play, due to the great student memberships they offer, where you can walk for free or $1, I can't remember, but if go in the mornings when students are in class it's not bad at all. The course is closed for rougly the next 10 months while under going renovations and a bit of a re-styling of some of the holes, which is being designed by none other than the great Jack Nichalaus and his firm, he and Florida State have a bit of a connection now after his grandson played TE on FSU's 2013 national title team. The range and practice areas remain open however.

Really enjoyed the course. Was in great shape. I'm assuming this is the same ground Brooks Koepka walked! Lol. Anyway, took a little over 4 hours to play due to the amount of people on the course, but overall, not too slow. Enjoyed the water and sand! Will definitely play again! Oh, greens were great and not very angulated.

I called for a tee time and rate. I made a tee time. When I showed up, they gave me a different rate and refused to give me the rate I was quoted. Then, a twosome went out at my tee time yelling that it was their tee time. There was no starter anywhere. What an awful place!

This was by far the best experience I've ever had golfing. From the customer service to the course, everything at Seminole Legacy is fantastic. Being greeted in the parking lot with a cart was a great way to start. The guys who work in the pro shop were very courteous. The quality of everything from the range balls to the rental sets are top notch. The course is incredibly fun to play as well. Overall, can't beat this golfing experience here in Tallahassee. Definitely worth the money.

I play here fairly often. It a wide open fun course. The guys behind the counter have a bit of an elitist attitude. Although today's counter help was great, even under pressure with a large group going through. No hotdogs at restaurant. You know, they close at 7. But it just 6:15? Any way, it a good course. Bumped them to a 4. Great staff at the counter.

Great course. Pretty landscaping and water features. Great deals and perks on memberships. I wish they still used the lights for late evening range hitting. Nice range, chipping and putting practice areas. Not usually too crowded

Worst service I have ever seen. I entered the rest...

Worst service I have ever seen. I entered the restaurant and only one other group at one table were dining. My husband and I got ignored as we watched another group of 4 enter the building and be seated. The waitress came out and discussed something with them. She then returned and took their drink order. She then returned to take their food order and I finally said (before she reached their table) "Excuse me!" She ignored me. My husband very frustrated at this point since we had been sitting for quiet some time got up to see if anyone else would help us. As he walked toward the kitchen the waitress waiting on the other table shouted to him that she would be with him in a few. He came back to the table as she walked into the kitchen and about 3 minutes later came out to ask what we needed. At this point I just wanted to know why she ignored us. She said she was hard of hearing and I asked if she was blind as well? We are sitting in an empty restaurant where the three tables that had people at them were all close together. no way could you miss us. She said she thought we just came in from the golf course and just wanted to sit. I had drove in from another town to meet my husband for lunch who had finished golfing. Needless to say by this point we just left since I no longer trusted what my food would come out like. I drove all the way back home and made my own lunch and was confident I had it faster than I would have gotten from them. Worst service ever and If possible to give less than 1 star I would. What happened to that place? I used to love going there years ago I dined there about 3 days a week and it was good. Time frame from us getting there to us leaving was appx. 45 mins with no service and in almost empty restaurant. The entire time the waitress was telling the other two tables they were about to close. I looked up the hours on the menu when I heard her and they were still 50 minutes from closing time. Guess she has better things to do and she told us she was the food and beverage manager. This is unacceptable service.

An addendum to the below review. I cancelled my membership due to ownership overselling half of the FSU campus on a $30 a month student "all you can golf in the afternoons" plan. You can't get a tee time, and even when you do, it's backed up three groups to a tee box. Half the people I run into have no business being on a golf course (if you show up in sandals and a Mariners baseball jersey, the stadium is down the street). As an avid 10 handicap I just want to play golf and not be hindered by college students that have never heard the term "ready golf". There is never a ranger or a marshall, unless someone calls to complain. It's a nice course, but it really doesn't matter if it's so crowded as to make you frustrated no matter when you try and play here. Try Capital City Country Club for an afternoon round. $25 with cart, and they are wide open with ZERO hacks.

The course itself is in great shape, and they are now under the management of the Arnold Palmer Group. The greens are the best in town, and roll plenty fast and true. They have offered a monthly players club membership where for $40 a month you get unlimited range balls and you can walk the course for free after 3:00 pm. Because of this a number of people have signed up for this making the course very crowded as of late, so don't expect a fast round out here at any time of the day. Their practice facility is as good as it gets as well, as you can spend all day practicing your chipping and putting without paying a dime. There is no cart girl, so whatever you get on the course is what you brought with you from the car. I have yet to see a Marshall on the course either, so they leave it up to the individual players to police their own pace of play, which may eventually come back to haunt them. Overall, it's a great course to play, when you get a deal.
