The sports therapists are top, the clinic itself is rubbish. The room furnishings are up-to-date; the WiFi, which you can buy for a fee, is only suitable for pure surfing. Streamers are only possible to a limited extent. The swimming pool is good, but unfortunately only accessible for 1 hour a day from Mon-Fri, mostly from 11-12 a.m., however, at this time mostly applications take place so that I could not use this (in 2 months). The canteen is ,,,, The bread tastes old because it is already sliced and the warm dishes sometimes take getting used to (although it only happened to me once that I couldn't keep the meal with me.) Luckily there are at least 2 pizzerias Kebab shop and 2 supermarkets within a 15-minute radius on foot. CONCLUSION: If there are significant motor restrictions, the clinic is recommended because of the great sports therapists. In all other cases, hands off.

A star is far too much.

A star is far too much.
0 would be more appropriate. Catheter bag not changed in the morning. No treatments during the day. Has not come out of the patient room for a week. Help with eating for an MS patient in advanced stage? Nothing. Wet laundry is simply put in the closet. Visit? Next Sunday 1 person can come for 30 minutes after waiting for hours on the phone to make an appointment. Is this how you deal with people who need our help and care? Do we pay our health insurance contributions? A cafeteria, compassion or helpfulness are foreign words!

I was from 3.1.18 to 30.1.18 after a mediate infarction right in this clinic and was very satisfied. The sisters and therapists are friendly and competent. My room was a bit in need of renovation otherwise clean and comfortable. I was at the station 1b.Every evening I met with others in the lounge to play rummy so the 3 weeks passed quite fast. I also took some with what I always try to perform even if I go back to work meanwhile. If I had to come back I would very much like to come back to Pulsnitz. In the park you can also go for a nice walk and in the coffee shop there are delicious cakes.

Not enthusiastic at all.

Not enthusiastic at all.
Since one cannot come to visit due to the current situation, one expects some information over the phone, but that is not possible because no one ever feels responsible for the patient. You always get to listen yes I don't know the patient because I can't say anything. Then you phone the doctor who tells you that the patient has been better for a week and everything is fine, less than 5 minutes later another doctor calls and tells that the patient has been worse for a week and immediately goes to a hospital for another Surgery must. Sorry but that doesn't work. We constantly get either no dirty things or things that are not from our relatives. It is bad enough that you are not allowed to visit (understandable) but then it was said last week you can come to visit, but a smear is taken beforehand. ... okay that's great, I thought, then I drive there for 1 hour and then I am told that there is no visiting ban, so we probably forgot to call you. That will not do......
You just don't get any information, you haven't known exactly how the relatives are doing for over a month. The last time I saw my loved one, I was shocked. Totally shot down medication, no movement, just looked into the void, didn't recognize me. I could have cried. Because we brought our relatives to the facility in a mobile and oriented manner. After only a week there was incontinence silps where there was continence at home. And then because everything was going too slowly the wheelchair was taken.

One star is still too many! Get your loved ones out of there before it's too late for them.
Therapies zero.
Diaper on and into bed. Not more.
The food under all cannon. Instead of tea, warm water and the drinks away at night so that you don't have to have too much.
Personal things are not handed over, even taken away and woe, you tell relatives something!
Walking in, half dead out again.
People are treated better in jail!

A great clinic.

A great clinic.
Loving and caring doctors, nurses and therapists.
I spent a long time here and can only report positive things and I'm still grateful for everything.
Some doctors, nurses and therapists are fondly remembered
I wish all employees in this rehabilitation clinic all the best and lots of strength for the future.

One star is actually too many! That it still exists today, unbelievable. If you criticize, you will be worn down or left out on the patient. There the nurses should only get a minimum wage or finally open their mouths shut. Conditions like in the deepest GDR.

I can only say positive things about this clinic, you can relax here. The staff goes to great lengths and all measures for recovery are applied perfectly. A beautiful castle park with a castle pond with a wonderful arcade and beautiful surroundings complete the stay. The food was perfect too. I would also like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to all doctors and therapists

Was from 04.04-09.05.19 because of a stroke there.
I can only speak good things.
Very very nice staff, well thought-out therapeutic applications, unapproachable but competent doctors.
Food is praiseworthy to mention.
It is cooked there and can not be compared with the large kitchen unit porridge.
Rooms are old-fashioned but functional.
For that I loved the large balcony next to my room and the incredibly beautifully laid out
Castle garden.
Thanks again to ALL.

There is still a lot that can be done in the first few weeks after a stroke. A lot more should have been done here for a relative close to me. Due to sick staff and a Noro virus infestation, almost nothing went in the first rehab. Then the rehab started all over again. The therapies went well in and of themselves, but e.g. an unnecessary urinary catheter reinstalled only because the patient in the eyes of the nurse rang the bell too often because he had to. This would not have been necessary and the patient still has to struggle with it. We also do not know whether the administration of antidepressants and sleeping pills would have been necessary during rehab to immobilize the patient.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend at all. After a stroke of my mother against her will and under violence, she was given a nasogastric tube. She had to stop the rehab, because there was only one more fear, with which she still has to fight today.

I spent my three-week follow-up treatment after a double herniated disc in September / October 2018 at this clinic, here's my report:

- Arrival: the transporter of the clinic was announced for 09:30. at 09:27 the doorbell rang. The rider certainly had a tight schedule, but he has always made me feel like everything is fine, we have time

- Arrival at the clinic. I have already experienced many recordings. She was friendly, professional and short. After 14 minutes I sat in my room.

After a few minutes recording interview with the doctor. She too was patient, let me tell, questioned.

The first two days recording in the therapy areas, patient, I was asked about my wishes, expectations. Then the therapy plan was put together with me and worked off.

The staff friendly and competent. After three weeks discharge, painless.

A huge praise and thanks!

and before you ask: I'm a cashier!

The sisters are OK, but the management is a disaster. Applications and certificates are regularly forgotten and lies seem to be part of everyday life. The patient as a cash cow. Absolutely not recommended !!!

Doctor ok .. Sisters are partially overwhelmed. Food not good at all. Nevertheless, the patient, although she was not feeling well, has made great strides through various types of sports and exercise therapies.

At the beginning of the Corona period, we were ove...

At the beginning of the Corona period, we were overjoyed that my father was accepted here after a stroke. From the beginning we were asked to be considerate because of the pandemic - unfortunately no one paid any attention to us. At first my father could still make phone calls and tell us that NOTHING was being done. In 10 days in the local hospital, the doctors / nurses gave each other the handle -> physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, controls. In many phone calls (visits were not possible) it was explained again and again that everything is under the influence of Corona and is only treated to a limited extent or group treatments cannot be done at all. All the more surprising when he was suddenly transferred because there are allegedly more staff on the other ward and therefore treatments are being carried out. Again and again we had to beg for information and were put off. Yes, Corona calls for doctors and nursing staff, but we relatives also sit helplessly at home and experience NOTHING - telephoning was no longer physically possible for my father. The phone was turned off in the meantime because no payment was made. My father couldn't organize it and we weren't informed. The nurses were patient / friendly on the phone and picked up the phone for my father in the room, unfortunately at that time he could no longer speak well.
A premature termination of the rehab was talked out of us again and again because the 70-year-old wife supposedly would not make it. Nursing service, bed, care had already been arranged.
When he finally got home, we almost hit the blow. My father came home unkempt and confused. Was it a coincidence that he wore the same shirt he was wearing for the briefing? Just dirtier than 4 weeks ago. The nursing staff and the doctor were shocked how one can lie so sore - in a rehabilitation clinic !!!! That is pathetic. Our worst fears that it would be pushed into the corner unnoticed seemed confirmed. The nursing staff managed to significantly improve wound healing within one day (!!!) - simply by properly caring for and turning the patient over. It was also the nurse of this small "village nursing service" who refused to answer for the blood in the urine and who finally tried to be admitted to the hospital. That same night my father died after weeks of torture in this "castle" / "clinic"
The VAMED clinic gave them home tablets that my father could not take because he had been fed through a tube for several weeks - unbelievable!
At our request, we received the files so that we could understand the last days of our father ... gibberish that was incomprehensible to us laypeople. After a further call, the attending doctor finally answered and admitted errors in the care and treatment, and he also apologized for sending the files, which probably should never have left the clinic. The blood in the urine was even mentioned here - unbelievable.
I am aware that a stroke cannot be cured easily and because of the lack of visits I cannot judge whether and how much was really done for my father. Certain things, such as bedsores, sending the wrong medication, handing out files, not giving any information to relatives - that shouldn't be. Not even during corona times.
We acted to the best of our knowledge and belief - hospital -> rehab -> home care. Nevertheless, the prevailing thought was that we should have stopped the rehab in this clinic as soon as our father asked for it.
I think with a lot of love, social contacts (which were not possible due to Corona) and the right therapies, you could have achieved a lot.

My mother was admitted to Pulsnitz two days ago af...

My mother was admitted to Pulsnitz two days ago after a second stroke - with severe dysphagia / aphasia - but the attending senior physician in Dresden had kept her mobile despite PEG, patiently enabling her to go to the toilet every day and encouraging us relatives to train with her every day. The Dresden doctors had successfully cured a bladder infection with antibiotics. As soon as they arrived in Pulsnitz, the ward doctor ordered long-term bed rest in the surgical shirt and prohibited any use of the toilet. My father, who was with my mother for several hours a day, was "forbidden" to go to the toilet with her, even though she wanted to. When he insisted that my mother wanted and could do this, the sister reluctantly did it - whereupon he found my mother catheterized and apathetic the next day and the next. She looked sedated. Since she cannot speak, she has no lawyer. Just three days ago (from Zurich) I was with my mother every day - and with my family I took care of their mobility and we were supported by the Dresden Clinic. As soon as they arrive at the Rehabilitation Center in Pulsnitz, the severely impaired stroke patient is turned into a legally and physically raped wreck in front of the relatives, just so that a certain "nursing calm" is guaranteed at the weekend. I will be on my way again next week to document the outrageous neglect of the smallest expenses for a newly admitted patient. Every day. Nobody in this ward is even close to investing a few more minutes in a patient on whom the pretreating doctors had laid a good foundation. Something like this should be analyzed - and published. With a copy to the cash register and medical association.

Incompetent and unfriendly. Unfortunately not recommended. The sisters have no idea about wound care and we as family members and lay people had to explain to the specialist staff (!) How to treat the wound. The sisters are rude and take care of the patient with zero comma zero! Not recommendable.
