A gorgeous golf course with rolling hills and beautiful vistas, ancient oaks, a great pool. friendly staff that make you feel like family and reasonable membership costs. Our family has grown up at Capital City Country Club.

Fabulous pool membership available throughout the summer. Service is sporadic. The administration needs to give the staff the support they need. ie computers not crash when totalling customers' bills.
Right now $280/month full membership with no minimum food and no initiation fee.

I never even knew it was there and they have a pool! I was there meeting someone so I was just in the parking lot but it seemed like most of the people there were judging me. I cannot be certain because I am not a mind reader but they way they looked at use when we drove up seemed that way. We could have been going the wrong way! Lol!

Excellent course! Definitely one of the most well maintained courses in Tallahassee as it seems to be in perfect condition every time. Will play here any time I get the chance to. Highly recommend!

Great older course, right in the middle of town. Nice elevation changes and an interesting layout. Kept up very well, always beautiful out there. Greens are consistent although generally not considered fast.

Nice golf course but gets crowded over the weekend. Location is great. Close to downtown and most residential places around Parkway. It is taken care of and staff if friendly! Look for deals before you pay the full price. So nice out at Myers Park and makes playing golf much better.

Great course, beautiful, but really sprinklers running during prime playing hours. Soaking the course when prime play happening. Ridiculous, sprinkler on at night so players aren't playing in a mud pit.

I ve had the privilege of playing this course a couple times with Fletcher the club pro. Great guy and from what I can tell a great staff.

The course plays great. Well maintained and greens that are tricky.

Food here is a little off. People who rented this place out felt out of place here. The pictures make you think this is a place for the community but the organizations who rent it out are not quite in line with the best interests of the community.

*I am going to amend this review with even more suspicion now that they found a graveyard for African Americans on their property.

*Dr. Madyun, a professor at FAMU, says unmarked graves in heavy agricultural areas like Florida and Georgia are not uncommon. He recommends an easement or restriction to protect that area.*

The public can play this course, if you find a deal online. This is a classic A.W. Tillinghast layout in the Florida capital, which is amazing from a historical golf perspective. I've played this a couple of times in the past few months and the conditions are great. The greens roll fast and true, and you are challenged on every shot to place the ball in the correct side of fairways, and on the right tiers of greens, or you will pay, dearly. Don't let the shorter length of this golf course fool you, as it will test even the best of golfers skills. It's visually deceptive with strategic location of trees and hazards, etc. Tillinghast was a master of making a golfer think on every shot, well beyond what club to hit. Anyone who appreciates anything about the history of the game of golf would be a fool not to play this course at least once.

Great private club. Most new members seem to be 25-35 yrs old, and the seasoned members are all good people - friendly and kind. Staff is wonderful. It's a relatively laid-back club that clearly has pivoted in the right direction to attract both "millennials" and "boomers"; plus families and all good folks who want to have fun and relax. The course is beautiful and demands reverence. It's unlike 99% of Florida golf courses in that the designers in the early 1900s prioritized player strategy over power. There has been a lot of time and money invested into the club and its course over the past two years, and it's clear things are only going to get better.

We have been to a number of golf courses in the Tallahassee area and this one has been the best. You can get some deals if you go through one of the golf apps like Supreme Golf, Golf Now (charges a convenience fee) or TeeOff. People there were very friendly.
