An addendum to the below review. I cancelled my membership due to ownership overselling half of the FSU campus on a $30 a month student "all you can golf in the afternoons" plan. You can't get a tee time, and even when you do, it's backed up three groups to a tee box. Half the people I run into have no business being on a golf course (if you show up in sandals and a Mariners baseball jersey, the stadium is down the street). As an avid 10 handicap I just want to play golf and not be hindered by college students that have never heard the term "ready golf". There is never a ranger or a marshall, unless someone calls to complain. It's a nice course, but it really doesn't matter if it's so crowded as to make you frustrated no matter when you try and play here. Try Capital City Country Club for an afternoon round. $25 with cart, and they are wide open with ZERO hacks.

The course itself is in great shape, and they are now under the management of the Arnold Palmer Group. The greens are the best in town, and roll plenty fast and true. They have offered a monthly players club membership where for $40 a month you get unlimited range balls and you can walk the course for free after 3:00 pm. Because of this a number of people have signed up for this making the course very crowded as of late, so don't expect a fast round out here at any time of the day. Their practice facility is as good as it gets as well, as you can spend all day practicing your chipping and putting without paying a dime. There is no cart girl, so whatever you get on the course is what you brought with you from the car. I have yet to see a Marshall on the course either, so they leave it up to the individual players to police their own pace of play, which may eventually come back to haunt them. Overall, it's a great course to play, when you get a deal.
