I stopped by recently to check out Toyota cars and had a wonderful experience with the Sales Rep Lina Ai. She was very friendly and helpful! She is also bilingual, speaking both English and Chinese. I didn't feel pressured or pushed to make any decision that I am not comfortable with. She was there to provide useful info and help compare different options. I will definitely go back!

Purchasing a vehicle, new or used, can be a daunting task, especially when you haven't done it for many years and it's the middle of a pandemic. Our two Toyota vehicle's solid performance convinced us we wanted another Toyota and the staff at Don Valley North ensured we ended up with the perfect vehicle for our family situation.
From the moment we entered, the screening precautions were exact and designed to protect the clients and staff. After talking from home several times with our product advisor, Tony Cao, we met in person to discuss a vehicle. Tony took the time to hear our situation, listened to our needs and asked pertinent questions to help us determine the right choice. His product knowledge was beyond reassuring and soon we were test driving three vehicles...two Rav4's and a Highlander XLE. He encouraged us to go home and think it over, then introduced us to his assistant manager, Steven Truong, who discussed our trade-ins. A couple of days later Tony followed up and we went back with our decision. He again encouraged us to drive our two top contenders, and we knew we wanted the Highlander. He was my kind of salesperson - knowledge, no sense of pressure, and a feeling he genuinely wanted to satisfy his customers. He was even able to secure two extras for us...a cargo liner and a hood deflector.
We decided to take advantage of a spectacular Financing offer and worked with Jaison Joseph, Sr Mgr of Financial services. And just like that, we had a vehicle that would carry us to our new home in Western Canada, handle the grandchildren's car seats (and their parents), and serve us through those winters to come.

Stay away or beware when you start dealing with this dealership. They are very good at sweet talking and very poor at the quality of the services they provide. All around from sales to service it is the same poor experience. Just beware!
Salesperson Logan Yuan exceeded our expectations when we purchased our new car last week. Always with a good attitude, he was honest and trustworthy in his approach to making us feel at ease from the beginning (research, test drive, etc) to end (purchase, after-purchase drop-ins, etc), as well as every step in between in ensuring our needs were met throughout the purchase process. We have a friend who works at a different Toyota dealership but in the end we still bought from Logan -- yes, he's THAT good! If you're looking for good value and honesty, Logan is highly recommended!!
It was our first time looking at Toyota for a new car. We were greeted promptly. We were referred to Sam Francella. We were concerned about the size of the car because of my husband's height. Sam showed us the 2018 RAV4. He was very patient and professional. We would highly recommend Don Valley North Toyota and Sam. He was able to put us at ease with our trade in and all our questions.
If you want to be treated like a second class citizen, this is the place for you. I own a Toyota (not purchased from Don Valley North) and dropped by to understand if there was anything I could do to re-affix my rear view mirror as it had repeatedly fallen from my windshield. I sincerely felt like an inconvenience to 2 of the 4 staff I interacted with in the service department. The girl at the reception repeatedly try to find an advisor to help me, but one by one she was punted from person to person. What really pushed me over the edge was the "I don't give a two-hoots" attitude of one of the advisors when I was explaining what was wrong with my vehicle (initials ML - won't reveal his full name here). My advice to you sir is to patiently listen the issues your customers (old and prospective) and respond accordingly instead of prescribing fixes to an issue you haven't fully heard out yet. Lastly, you really need to get that chip off your shoulder and stop talking to customers like they are beneath you and that they don't know anything.
I would like to say a special thank you to Tony Yang. We are new to Toyota and he took his time to explain to us the features of the car we were interested in and the offers. Not only he is very knowledgeable but we didn't feel from him the usual dealer "push a sale" attitude that we encountered with other dealers/ dealerships. He was very patient with us, listening to all our wishes and got us a great deal. Not only that, but as we wanted to have the car before long weekend, he made sure that the additions we wanted-fog lights, etc, were done next thing in the morning (not his regular starting time as we understood, so we can pick up the car that day. He has the patience and the perseverence not expected from such a young person. Thank you, Tony.

I bought a Toyota RAV4 and did all my services here, they always provide reasonable recommendations. And that's the reason when my friend wants to purchase a Toyota I strongly recommended him to come here. But the value they estimated for my friend's trade-in car is surprisingly low and even wrote down: "no one wants this car" on the paper. I've never seen a business that will do this to its potential customers. And I have to feel guilty and sorry to my friend because of what I put him through. I'm not sure this represents the whole company's value and vision. Comparing to those good quality services I received, it really makes me confused and frustrated.
The DVN dealership was unbelievable, very attentive and was very customer service based. Logan Yuan is unbelievable at making people feel comfortable, there was no pressure and it trued every way possible to get the price in the bracket that I wanted. He found me the color, make, model everything I wanted to make sure I was happy. I called him a lot asking one million questions and he not only answered these calls but made me feel that he was looking out for my interests not just wanting to sell me a car.
I am currently financing the 2018 Toyota Camry and I know this is an on going relationship where I will get all my future vehicles from Don Valley North Toyota

Worst place to try to buy a vehicle. My wife and I had a terrible experience. Salesperson was not knowledgeable about vehicles, difficult to understand and he just wanted a slam sale. To make things worse, we negotiated a deal, we then went to pay by debit for the deposit, then the salesperson comes to us and tells us the vehicle is sold, someone else put a deposit before us, with another sales manager. We were absolutely appalled and disgusted how this dealership conducts business. I will tell as many people as I can about our experience. We then bought another vehicle from City Buick Cadillac were our buying experience was superb!
Recently purchased my 2014 Scion TC from this dealership and was totally blown away by the service received from Sam Francella-Sales Consultant. He showed a genuine enthusiasm for this product and was extremely knowledgeable of this model. UPDATE: Bought A dodge2013 used car from Shuja with average milage. Ive had it for just over a year. Shuja pomised me the car was in great condition, shortly after the car's interior begin falling apart, car rode okay for few months and then the electrical problems began, dashboard screen only worked on some days, interior lights would turn on and off, speedometer light non-functional. Got an oil change from a mechanic friend who basically told me the car is a lemon and has many serious issues with the engine, leaking, damage etc I I went to get a second opinion at a shop and was told to get rid of it immediately while I still can. Before purchasing I had some concerns, Shuja personally vouched for the car as well as mentioned that they had changed the brakes and did some work for me, I told him several times that I couldn't afford to buy a lemon and he reassured me several times saying he would recommend the car to his own family. Don't trust him or this slimey dealership. I think my favourite part is how Shuja reached out to me the next day saying he would appreciate a good review as he needs it, now I know why. SCAMMERS!!!!! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!
I went in expecting to purchase a new vehicle. I didn't even want to consider a new vehicle thinking it was out of my price range. Arman took a lot of time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a brand new car ( Rav 4 2019 ) that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connecting the blue tooth with my phone, etc. I highly recommend Arman in Toyota Don Valley North Toyota. It was worth the hour drive to get there. Arman gets to know his customers and guides you through each step of the purchase. One of the best services from Parts department I've come across. I was getting a quote for the winter tire and the representative actually guided and showed me the ACTUAL rims out of the box. Amazing service! Then I booked the schedule, it was FAST! Ching, the assistant service manager is very knowledable and is very detail-orientated. He made sure I chose the right tire and confirmed the style of the rim is what I wanted. Also they seem to have storage option for the replaced tires. Surprise.. Surprise.. Now I'm just waiting for my winter tire service to be done. Definitely looking forward to that!

I got my RAV4 back. Great service. Though there was some miscommunication regarding my rim color but the representative is very nice so we sorted out. Overall still a great experience.
My wife and I were just looking to check the available cars and upon asking Anthony Silva our preferences, he suggested a great options for us that are both fair and practical. Anthony gave us an unbiased guidance on what to consider in getting a car and how can we get the best value out of the dealership.
We made a downpayment that day and Anthony proceed to give us the information we need while making sure that we understand the process (it is our first time buying a car in Canada!). We are very grateful that he is the one who accommodate us since he perfectly profiled and match us to an available car they have - and it was an amazing choice in terms of our preference and value.

I walked in to check RAV4 to get some information. Girl at the entrance kind of ignorant told me only accept appointments only. Ask for the catalog, told all online. We know we can find all online. We wanted to see the interior to select the right color. Won't shop there place. Extremely poor customer service!
Peter Wan was a great consultant. He was accomodating and always catered to our needs. Even at delivery, he patiently took his time to explain and answer all the questions, no matter how trivial it might seem to be (cars nowadays have so many features!). I just took delivery of my 2015 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited Edition. This is a 50,000+ vehicle that we had to custom order way back in November of 2014. Our salesperson was Mr. Simon Lam and he pretty much "held our hand" all the way through the purchasing, trade-in and continual updates during our wait for the new card to be built. It took Toyota almost 4 months to build our top-of-the-line minivan and have it shipped to Toronto but the wait was made bearable because Mr. Simon Lam kept us updated and made us feel it was worth the decision we made to get the exact colour and options that we wanted.
I have been purchasing cars for over 20 years for myself, my family and my company. Probably over 35 cars in the past 20 years. And I just want to say that Mr. Lam is certainly the most professional and caring sales person I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I understand now why his customers keep coming back even after they have moved to other cities in Ontario. I would definitely drive the 100+ km to deal with him again if I were to move out of the GTA.

I purchased a second hand Toyota Rav4 from here. Half a year later, I noticed some problems with the rear door. Even though it was past the normal service deadline, Sam Francella and Tony Cao were very helpful and fixed the issue for me. Great service, highly recommend.
I visited this Toyota location on Saturday and all I have to say is, why would you only have 1 person helping customers out? On top of that, she barely spoke English. It normally isn't a problem for me unless there's several people that can be of service.
I was here, browsing the showroom for almost 2 hours and only the one worker approached me and asked me if I needed anything. I waited this long hoping that it was some kind of mistake on my part, but when I never saw anyone else helping customers out, it made me lose all respect for this toyota. Ridiculous.

Took my van in services because of the recall regarding the side passenger door being jamed up. Explain with Andrew Ho that the issue causing the door to jamed shut occurs from time to time (not all the time). After the technician tested it, they came back and said nothing was wrong. I mean, they didn't even open the door apart to inspect the inner parts. He suggested, I go to another dealership to see if they can fix the problem (passing the buck). This is the 2nd vehicles that I have purchased from this dealership, and I am not sure there will be a 3rd time. I guess once they hook you up for a purchase, they don't seems to care for additional service beyond that. Thank Don Valley North Toyata for your best services.

Expensive service! Comparing with other toyota dealer shop service, oil change price is much higher. Don valley north charged 81dollars but I have paid only 62 bucks during 2years with same service from yorkdale toyota. Same synthetic oil "ow20" used but service person tried to convince that other location may not use same synthetic oil and charged more. This is first time to visit don valley toyota service but I won't come this location anymore. I am strongly NOT recommend this location.

I was originally going to buy from a private seller, but on a whim my mom thought we should stop by DVNT to look at the different cars they had available.
We were helped by Jamie , who was very patient, and knowledgeable. He helped us find a great car at a great price, and was excellent with communicating between the initial sale and when we came to pick it up. He was prompt (maybe a little too prompt, because my family is always late for everything :)!) and gave great advice. He even made sure I was comfortable with the numbers in my license plate. I couldn't be happier. Thanks to Jamie I now have a wonderful vehicle.
Communication was stellar, and all the staff we dealt with were very warm and non-judgemental about things like budget. Joanne was our FSA, and she was very knowledgeable as well, and great at negotiating. Another gentleman also came in and helped out where language was a barrier. He was very informative and, importantly, not pushy about add-ons. Even the manager stopped by to say hello.
The whole staff was very pleasant, welcoming, and trustworthy. I will bring my vehicle for service with them always! Can't recommend this dealership enough.
While I purchased the car last year, there was a so-called offer letter that I signed which included what I should be expecting when I receive the car. It was not given to that time despite asking for it a lot of times. Now for tyre change, I got a call from Toyota that it will cost me $45 for the same. When I reached the service centre, it changed to $140. Beware of this place as employees are under heavy sales pressure. If you are purchasing car from here, better takes quotes from other places as well otherwise you might end up paying highest possible here. And of course, lots of promises while making a sale and do not expect anything you have car at your home.

I recently went to Don Valley North Toyota and met with a young salesman named Anand Vyas. He was a superstar. Great listener, patient, not too pushy, and is very knowledgeable about cars. He is the guy to go to for the best deal on your car. Unlike any other salesman I have met. I told him my budget and he found me a diamond. He is a hard worker, searched and worked tirelessly till he found my 2009 Honda Fit Sport, only 150k km on it, drives like it's brand new. As well as under my budget, what more could I ask for? 10/10 would reccomend any of my family or friends to Anand, he will take care of you like you are family.

I purchased my very first car from Don Valley North dealership from Matt Cassagnol few weeks ago. In the end, I think I was more satisfied with the service that I received from Matt, even more so than my new vehicle! I took my parents to the dealership when I went to check out a car, as this was my first time buying a car, and we had lots and lots of questions. Matt was very good answering all our questions and explaining everything, and even when I would ask more questions via text after checking out the car, he was always very prompt with his replies and made sure that my questions were always answered. I work in sales as well (but not in the automobile industry), so I am well aware that the customer service and the delivery process is as much important as the actual product. I was very happy with Matt's knowledge about Toyota vehicles and his service, and going out of his way to make sure that his customer was satisfied. I would recommend Matt to anyone looking to buy a car at my heartbeat. Went to the dealer in a morning to get an oil change. They had an employee sitting in a car purposely blocking off people who drive in from the steeles was entrance. The guy told me to exit back to Steeles and go around to Victoria Park entrance. I told him that I will be late to work and he said he doesn t care. His manager instructed him to do it with everyone. I went to the manager and complaint, and the manager didn t seem to care. I took my business elsewhere and will never go back. What an odd dealer with their odd policy....
Definitely the best dealer experience we've had and very well managed during this pandemic. Professional and attentive service from Stephan was a breath of fresh air when buying a used car for my dad. There turned out to be a minor door trim issue after delivery we didn't catch related to past service not from this dealer. Stephen coordinated to send necessary parts to us as we requested since we're limiting our visits due to the pandemic as well as assured if we had more issues that it would be taken care of during next service visit.
