When I asked about where to sit, he told me he would buy somewhere to sit and made us wait for about half an hour. He did not tell me anything. Shame on you. Learn how to treat customers. I really appreciate Rick s help with my recent purchase of Hyundai Tucson 2021. He is very passionate and a hardworking sales agent.

There was some misunderstanding when we reached at the dealership regarding the car deal and car pickup time but it was solved by the help of Rick and manager. They both are wonderful and wanted to do the best possible in favor of both.

Overall, it was a great experience as I got my requested deal. I sure will recommend Don Valley North Hyundai and Rick Zhao for his exceptional service at DVN Hyundai. Thank you again DVN Hyundai and Rick!! :)

The service department at this dealership is the worst that I have ever experienced. Having worked in the industry they should be embarrassed with the way they treat people and the quality of work done. Don't ever deal with Martin. The handful of times I have dealt with him have all been bad experiences. They never follow up on outstanding work to be done. I've had to go to other dealerships to get the work done. I work around the corner and would be an ideal customer to make happy to keep my business but they have done everything they can to make sure I take my business elsewhere. It has even impacted my purchase decisions on a vehicle since the service is terrible as I purchased another brand to ensure I don't need to get serviced at this dealership any more than necessary.

With DVN Hyundai services for many years, i have to look for another better dealership to do my car services. Their service is getting worst. I went this DVN Hyundai in August 2017 regarding one of manufacturer defect. Mr Shawn / Assistance manager agreed to order the part for me. He did not call me back after few follow up calls by myself. Finally, I can talk to their manager and he promise to get Mr Shawn to call back. He said the part is ready. I made an appointment in September 2017 for fix this and oil change. After the appointment is done, Mr Shawn told me that they ordered the wrong parts. He apologized and agreed to waive the oil change fee for me and promise to call back when the part arrived. I called Mr Shawn few times and left message but no reply at all

Now is December 2017. I have not received any reply so far. I feel that DVN Hyundai does not want to deal with Manufacturer's defects.

Very disappointed with this dealer and will not buy cars or services there.

The sales representative Harold Jung is an amazing and very professional. He was very patient with us and explained everything clearly. It was a no brainer to go with the Don Valley Hyundai as we were extremely satisfied with the customer service we received! I bought a demo car, which had some mileage on it....

I bought a demo car, which had some mileage on it. The sales guy said that, because it is a demo, the warranty starts when I purchased it and I get full 100k km coverage in addition to the mileage on the car.

Fast forward a few years later, there is 105k km on my car and I have something that needs to get repaired and is supposed to be under warranty. Based on what the sales guy told me, I should still be covered. When I go to get my car serviced they tell me that warranty does not work that way. Basically, the sales guy lied or was incompetent. I wrote to the sales department and they ignored me.

My advice is to put little trust in what the sales people say at this dealership. Ask for everything in writing. Read all the fine print. If you want to know about the warranty, read the official documents from Hyundai. Don't rely on the the people at this dealership.

The service department is pretty good. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I purchased a 2020 Genesis from Don Valley North Hyundai. The sales representative was a girl name Trisha who was very pleasant to work with. There were a few technology issues to sort out after the sale and she followed up diligently and has been very conscientious. I would definitely recommend her as a person who does exactly what she says and works extremely hard to make sure the customer is satisfied.

There were a few things that didn t happen that was a little disappointing. Genesis advertises that they will bring the car to you for a test drive and for delivery. That didn t happen. I had to drive over to the dealer for a test drive and to pick up the car. Not a huge issue but they shouldn t say it if they really don t do it. They also promise that they will pick up the car for service and bring me a loaner. I hope that promise will be honoured.

The car is beautiful and I m thrilled with how it drives. As Trisha said, it will take me quite a while to learn all the amazing safety features and technology enhancements that are in the car.

Picking up my car was not smooth process as I had hoped to be. Also when I inspected vehicle all by myself, I found a small ding with paint chipped off. Sales rep insists that it is small enough they will not care when I return the car but was not thrilled to received it. Expressed my concern to general manager so hoping to hear back from him.

+ General manager reached out, wanted to have a chat with him. I gave him my contact and asked him to call me. Instead he just throws two time slots during the day when I cannot make it in and says if I can drop by. Just keeping my messages for record and call it done with this dealership.

I was under the impression (from another Hyundai dealer) that I needed a brand new set of brakes and rotors, but Carson called them and clarified the situation, and it turned out that I was just due for a brakes service package. Horrible experience. I had a small bump on my tire and had ordered a replacement that would arrive the next day,everything was good. I walk outside to my car and the tire was changed to the spare without my consent or informing me. I go back inside and Was told that its considered too dangerous to leave the lot with a small bump on the tire. Surprising as I was under the impression that I knew exactly what was happening or going to happen to my car after I left the doors. After Sean apologized he said that I could leave my original rims with the service department so that everything would be ready for me the next time I would come in and that while he was not here on Monday, he would leave special instructions to the team to replace my tire. On the date of the agreed time (Monday 930) I come in, Amy tells me there s no appointment for that time and no instructions left before. She tells me to wait for an advisor for further help. I end up waiting 50!!! Minutes before someone is finally able to assist me and when I explained my frustration and my story I was brushed off by the advisor. We did end up Booking for a time convenient for me. I was irritated and confused but had to leave for work otherwise I would love to speak to the manager. The whole overall experience was extremely frustrating. As a client I was misinformed, My concerns brushed aside and attempts to Amend the issue was only met with more inconveniences. going forward I will not continue my business with this dealership nor will I recommend it to anyone I know.

Three of my closest friends recommended this dealership because they bought their cars from them and they had a great experience. My car owning experience with don valley north Hyundai was very good.
The service was excellent.
We first went there just to explore cars before purchasing one. And the service and deals really convinced us to purchase one on the same day.
Thanks to Fayaz who is the sales person. I highly recommend him, this was our first time buying a car in Canada and Fayaz had helped us explore different options and getting the right one.

Overall everything was fine there were no issues with anything. Again special thanks to Fayaz for giving us the great experience.

I've visited this dealership several times, and my experience here was good, until today.
Few weeks back, I had brought my car in for inspection as there was a leak coming from the engine. I was told that a part needed to be replaced (and this leak was related to my previous engine replacement that I had got done here at Don Valley). The Adviser told me it'd take only 3-4 days for the part to come in. About 2 weeks passed, and I don't hear back at all.

I called on Tuesday Feb. 9th to follow up, and was told that my part was finally in. I'm still not fully understanding why nobody took the initiative to call me and let me know the part was in? I was told "There is a process to calling customers".

I booked my appointment for this morning (Thursday Feb 11), and was told the car will be ready for pick up by Friday Feb 12th noon. I double, triple checked this appointment with the rep several times when we were on the phone.

So this morning I go in, and I'm told that I don't have an appointment at all, and that everything is full and I have to bring it back in on Tuesday.

They made me feel like the mistake was my end, because "my adviser was not even in today".
That's honestly none of my problem. Then the person who was booking my appointment made a mistake, and I don't know why I have to be penalized for YOUR mistake.

I had to cancel/rearrange my meetings for the next few days, because I knew I wouldn't have my car for Thursday and Friday. But now, I have to rearrange my schedule all over again, simply due to a mistake they made.

The team there did not seem apologetic at all, and didn't provide me with a solution that worked out for me.

After I get my part fixed here, I am NEVER coming back here again.

I don't know if it's because I am young that they mistreat me like this, but it is the worst experience I had so far with Hyundai, and I seriously recommend you to train your staff again.

So after I've contacted HQ to let them know about my experience, and posted the review online, Hyundai was pretty quick in getting back to me about my experience. Yesterday afternoon, the General Manager at the Don Valley location had contacted me and apologized for what happened. He had asked me to come in to discuss what happened and to have my car put in for the part replacement.

When I went back yesterday, the GM apologized for what had happened and explained to me that there had been a miscommunication internally.

*I just want to make it clear one more time - my main issue was how the situation was dealt with when I went in. The adviser that I met yesterday morning didn't handle the situation properly. It wasn't so much with my original adviser who was not in yesterday morning*

I really appreciated how fast they reacted to my complaint, and I am glad that they took the initiative to talk to me and apologize. I just hope they take a more proactive approach next time.

Anyways, I brought my car in yesterday, and they told me my car will be fixed by Tuesday. This was good news, because the adviser that I spoke with yesterday morning said that I'd have to bring it in Tuesday (meaning I wouldn't have my car for the weekend, and that I'll get my car back Wednesday). They had also given me a rental car for free of charge, until my car is fixed (which I am very satisfied about).

Overall, even though my experience in the morning was horrible, I am pleased to see that they showed they cared about customers, and eventually provided me with a solution that worked out for me.

All in all, I can tell that they truly care about their customer satisfaction - just hope that they take a proactive approach next time.

My car is still in repair, so review to be continued once I get it back next week.

We picked up our new 2019 Tucson from DVN Hyundai and absolutely love it. I can honestly say this was the best experience I've personally ever had with a car dealer, seriously !!! They knocked it out of the park in all aspects of the transaction:
very knowledge sales staff who took their time to properly explain the features of each model and ensure that she made the right decision
a thorough test drive, including on the highway
very competitive pricing/value, including a reasonable value for her trade-in
knowledgeable business management/administration staff (Lillian) who carefully walked us through the contracting and available options
very smooth and well executed delivery process, with lots of time taken explain the functions/features and introduce us to the Service team

To net it out, the end-to-end process and support they provided was magnificent !! They provided all of the attributes of excellent customer service ==> high skills/knowledge, empathy, focus on the customer and their requirements, as well as patience and flexibility.

Would like to particularly highlight two people. The Sales Manager Tigran Avagyan who led the financial negotiations, and Sales Consultant Jonathan Park. Jonathan provided immaculate customer service throughout the whole experience, from our first visit and test drive through delivery and vehicle education. In addition, Jonathan was on vacation, when we took delivery, but his still made a number of personal sacrifices over the vacation season to stay connected with us on e-mail and phone calls to ensure the car was delivered properly and on schedule.

We had a wonderful experience with DVN Hyundai, and strongly recommend them.

I walked in and the gentleman that helped me Garen, was amazing. From helping me choose the right vehicle to getting the promo at .9% it was a wonderful. The finance manager Susan was very helpful and gave me the right warranty that I needed. She did not try to upsell me on all the extra add ons, which a lot of dealerships do. Overall experience was positive and I found what I was looking for!

After a terribly disappointing visit to my local Aurora Hyundai, (after a previous disappointing visit there 2 years earlier), it was worth the slightly longer trip to Don Valley Hyundai.
They turned my opinion from a zero to ten!
With a prepared and trustworthy representative, Lillian, who was upfront and transparent, I felt like I was treated with dignity and respect, and that my loyalty to their brand for the past 6 years was valued.
My transition to a new leased vehicle was absolutely painless!

There seems to only be a single sales rep at this location that anyone should deal with. My first experience with this location was I had scheduled a meet with a dealer to find out when I had arrived the individual had taken in a customer no more than 5 minutes before my arrival. I tried to wait, but after 30 minutes I requested that the dealer contact me to reschedule another meet. I never got contacted back.
The second attempt at this location was a similar story, the dealer I had scheduled a meeting with had taken on a customer just before my arrival so I requested to be transferred to an available sales rep. After waiting around 15 minutes I was given a really polite and nice representative who helped answer my questions and took me out for a test drive of the vehicle I was inquiring about.
After putting down a deposit and 2 weeks going by, I contacted the dealer to find out some information to be told that the rules had changed 5 days earlier and I needed to come in and work out a final sales agreement.
I presented my offer and was met with the assistant sales manager who informed me that they could not go below MSRP and that negotiating the cost of the car was illegal. After a back and forth conversation where I realized the assistant sales manager was doing whatever he could to place blame on me and try to tarnish the reputation of any other dealership willing to work with me, I decided to get my deposit back on a purchase order that was now void because the original terms the purchase order was made on were no longer available and the agreement had changed.
Needless to say I took my business to another dealership who has been treating me well.
My goal for this review is not to bash the entire dealership, the sales rep I finally dealt with was fantastic, my issue is with the ego of the assistant sales manager. When a customer comes in knowing much more about a specific car that is made by Hyundai (mechanical, sales, availability, pricing) you might need to start Googling your inventory more.

I had been shopping for a car online for a couple of months. Although most dealerships will say that you can do the process entirely online, I found that most were not willing to negotiate a deal. I contacted this dealership and the response was immediate. Fayaz was terrific to deal with. Very attentive and responsive to our needs. We agreed, in principle, to a price on the phone and when we arrived at the dealership, there were no surprises - we got the deal done in about 10 minutes. Can't say enough great things about Fayaz. Will definitely buy another car from him in the future. Susan was also great on the financial end making sure we were happy and felt safe and protected with our purchase.
