I received some of the best customer service of my life from Matthew Y at this location. I was a first-time buyer which meant I had many questions as well as indecisiveness. However, throughout the entire process and beyond, Matthew remained incredibly patient, helpful, and understanding. I felt like I was being helped by a friend more than a sales representative, as I genuinely felt that Matthew was helping me find the vehicle which best suited my needs. Even as I shopped around, not once did I feel "pushed" or "forced" by Matthew to secure the sale. Ultimately, the genuine service I received from Matthew, combined with the amazing features of the Elantra and the unbeatable sales from Hyundai, is what secured this deal for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Matthew to friends and family, and would absolutely return to him for future vehicle purchases. Thanks so much Matthew and Don Valley North Hyundai!

I have a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe XL which is literally the most expensive SUV Hyundai sells. Additionally I purchased the warranty mainly because it covers rust proofing. A few weeks ago I noticed an irregular sound coming from the back of the car, so I went on DV Hyundai s website to make an appointment (I work near by) made one for Wednesday (three days later) and got a confirmation, got to my appointment on Wednesday and delt with the girl at the front counter, I think her name is Amy literally the most condescending human I have ever met, spoke to me like I m an idiot. I kept my cool and rebooked for the next day. According to her the online system doesn t work (yet I m the idiot ) fast forward to Thursday I came early dropped my car off early for an 8:50 appointment. I was told I would get a call once the diagnostic is complete (this should take an hour) finally at 11 over three hours later I called them to find out what was going on and spoke to my advisor Andre, a nice guy but he must also think I m stupid, told me the report JUST came back, and there was some warranty issue with the rear differential, and the car is unsafe to drive. I said no problem I ll come pick up the rental at 3pm. Andre said he doesn t think I ll get one but will speak to his manager and call me back (I hate promises people can t keep) I had a busy day and around 2:30 I realized I haven t gotten a call back. So I called again and was told there would be no car to give me and the repair will likely take 2-3 weeks due to aback ordered part. I told Andre to go talk to someone who can make a decision and get me a car, I ll expect a call back in 10 minute I live an hour away and I need to pick up my kids. He said ok....again no call back. I got a friend to drive my to Hyundai and went to Andre who again said there is no car to give and he cannot authorize a rental (let me remind everyone again I had PURCHASED the extended warranty which GUARANTEES me a rental car) by this point I was extremely irritated and annoyed as I m sure anyone can imagine. I at that point gave Andre two options 1. Get me his manager, or his managers manager or the owner of the location 2. Give me a document stating my car is unsafe to drive but they were refusing to give me a rental and I would take it to another dealer which can give me a rental. I gave him 10 minute to do so before I called the ombudsman. Behold 9 minute later I got the Manager Cato I believe was his name who was really apologetic and already had enterprise on there way to pick me up. (Cato is the best part of this service experience) after my rental was sorted out I came back to get my stuff I went back and told Andre to look at anither problem I was having because the car was going to be with them for so long. He said no problem and he would call me Tuesday with an update on the timelines. Come Tuesday again the experience was consistent I got no phone call. I finally called back on Wednesday and was told by Andre he has good news and the part might be here already, he would call me back in about 30 minutes, guess what! No phone call. Thursday I get a call from his peer stating the car is tested and repaired ready for pick up. (One week later guess the back ordered part mysteriously appeared two weeks ahead of schedule....like because they were paying $30 a day for my rental) I asked about the back seat and was told there s no notes but if I told Andre he would have taken care of it. Finally on Friday I went to pick up my car, and the back seat was obviously not repaired, and I was told it s because he was off on thursday. Soooo he pretty much didn t care enough to fix my concerns. Which means I need to make another accommodation to have this issue repaired. Lastly the paperwork wasn t ready and I was told I would get it emailed to me, yet I have not gotten anything. This has by far been a terrible experience and the service department can maintain there status as the industry scum....Andre is a nice guy but his word has zero value, a terrible terrible experience

We sat there with one of the experts, Fayaz Mohammadi and looked into chances for a better deal on a specific car and he patiently gave us a very good deal. The manager at this branch is also very professional and polite and he also gave us some additional bonus. If you ever shop there, I'd indeed recommend you to ask for Fayaz at the front desk to help you get a great deal.

I am truly taken back by how amazing shawhin was at helping me select my hyundai elantra. I have always bought my cars privately because I have had a hard time trusting dealerships through bad experience but shawhin has reassured me that I'm in the right hands. He told me about the Weins Canada culture and how focused they are with customer service and boy he was not kidding. Worst in service and never trust what they say as they just want your money. Staff are very rude and unprofessional. I been twice and both time had worst experience I wish I would get my money back. They don t deserve to be Hyundai dealership. Please never go there save you money. They alway do false commitment. Never go there to buy and service.

Just to give you a quick background, I was looking for a new 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Since this model is being replaced by the 2013 model, it was very difficult to find a new one in Ontario. I contacted several dealerships in the GTA and all promised to get one for me but none came through other than Don Valley Hyundai. From the the first contact with them to the time I was handed the keys, the whole staff, in particular David Ko my sales rep, were extremely professional and courteous. David always made himself available to me and returned my calls in a timely manner. For example, when the car arrived it was slightly damaged. David notified me immediately and addressed the issue right away without resistence or conflict. I had a very positive experience with them; believe me when I say this because I don't usually fill out these things. Bottom-line, their services for me were beyond industry standard and I highly recommend going to this dealership to purchase your car.

We picked up our 2019 Santa Fe with extended warranty today. Lillian Chen was the best car sales I ve ever encountered, and I ve bought multiple cars in the past. Her attentive service, very friendly and funny nature, and diligent work was the key factor in us making the decision to buy the car within 24 hours (normally it would have taken us weeks). She made sure we were well aware of what was going on at all times, and even took the time to walk us through every single one of the car s features upon delivery. Very very well done, highly recommended and would go back to Lillian next time!

Just recently exchanged my old Tuscon for the new one. Exceptional services from Spencer Luk, my sales representative. He explained in detail all the features of the vehicle and helped me choose the one that was suitable for my family.
I've purchased a few cars in the past from him and he's services is just the best. He was previously at the dealership in Agincourt. Even though that dealership is a lot closer and more convenient for me, he's services was just too good that I switched dealerships.
I would recommend anyone who's looking for a car to find Spencer as he does not discriminate he's customers no matter what budget they have.

Bought my first car here with the help of Jonathan Park (make sure you ask for him if you plan on getting a car here!!!). He was very helpful and we went through everything that I asked in terms of what I wanted. We decided on an Elantra and he made the entire process super easy and recommended the best options for me. Overall, their service was wonderful, they went through everything, including all of minor details to helping me customize my car the way I liked it. There was no sign of being rushed or anything like that, the process was extremely smooth and very informative. I own a 2017 Elantra, have been visiting this place for maintainence since it's close to home. Though it's a small place, I find the service excellent. The service manager Sean has helped me a few times above and beyond my expectations. He went extra mile to help me and gave me piece of mind. I would say he is the best for service advise for my over 25 years as a car owner.
Also, the drivers for courtesy rides are excellent. They are very polite, friendly and professional. I will go back again and again.

I was an existing customer, leasing a Tuscon 2016 Base Trim. I have to say their service and sales representatives are awesome. I worked out a deal where I traded in my Tuscon without paying lease termination fee and I bought the 2018 Santa Fe XL Base AWD Trim and I left the show room with 232.77 Biweekly payment with 7 years financing which includes the Platinum extended warranty and chemical protection and titan protection. Me a Happy customer :)

This rating reflects my experience with the Service and Parts Dept. Generally very pleasant staff in the Service Dept who are making a good effort working in a similar model of their cousins down the street, DVN Toyota: 1. Check in with Reception 2. Arrange your visit with a Service Advisor/Asst Service Manager. Challenge at DVNH is less personnel + working in a confined space = overcrowding and extended waiting time. I have experienced upselling on every service visit. Parts Dept have to back order parts needed on Vehicle Recalls. In my instance I gave up on the B/O and just went to a Hyundai Store in Brampton who had the part in stock. On a repair just done On Warranty it was a wait of over two months for the part. Perhaps this was a problem with the Manufacturer...but no attempt was made to explain this delay. I do note that there is a great improvement with their Service Shuttle Service although I don't use it on every visit.

Very rude customer service. Came in at 6 to pick up a wholesale unit vehicles battery was dead so someone outside told me to see the receptionist. No problem it's understandable. So Came back inside stood at the counter a few minutes saw a lady who looked like a salesperson on her phone photocopying something and asked her kindly if she knew where the receptionist is & she tells me I don't know I don't have a tracker on her. It's always a pleasure to bring my car there for service. The staff are extremely professional and overly courteous. The servicing and prices are explained and any deals are detailed to me. The courtesy drive back in a warm vehicle to my residence is prompt with no or little wait time. I have been returning for service for the last 6 years since mainly because of the service and the staff.

I had a very bad experience at the service section...

I had a very bad experience at the service section of this location. They just don't lose any chances to rip you off. Took my car there after battery failure, and after almost 8 hours ended up paying around $70 just for their "diagnosis", and asked to pay another $380 + labor for new battery! I mean come on!!! It's just a damn battery for a regular sedan, not a Mars rover!

Just took the car to Canadian Tire and they replaced it with a regular battery under $150, which also comes with 3 years of warranty, and it took them only half an hour.

Bottom line: dealerships are just legal frauds.

I drop off my car yesterday for the recall, and they arrange the car to drop me back to my office using the Genesis, when I ask Trifon Haitas the question about the car, he can almost give me everything I need to know, I would say even better than the salesman, and I am surprise that even the driver is working as a team to know everything about their product.
When he pick me up again we have some good talk again and I have to said that out of all the driver I saw so far from different companies, He is one of the best. And this mean a lot to the company as a whole.

Bought a 2010 Santa Fe in June 2020. Just days aft...

Bought a 2010 Santa Fe in June 2020. Just days after owning the vehicle, the check engine light came on. We called Fayaz to tell him about it and they said if it's driving ok we should keep driving it. They said that the check engine light came on because the car hasn't been driven for a while. The check engine light went off a few days later and stayed off for about a month or so. The check engine light came on a second time and stayed on longer, but it eventually went away.

2 days ago check engine light come on again, and suddenly the car lost power for about 2 seconds. I was turning left at an intersection and i was almost T-boned. This is DANGEROUS man, and now the check engine light is not going off.

I am due for an oil change, so i brought it to a mechanic that i know to have him do the oil. Told him about the check engine light coming on and going off, so he decided to scan the car. DTC Code P0014 engine timing issue came up on the scanner. The mechanic said that the engine sensor was also changed, so whoever changed the sensor knew about the problem. He also said that the timing issue is VERY BAD and was happening LONG BEFORE i bought the car.

So Don Valley North Hyundai knowingly sold me a car that has a engine timing problem and changed the sensor without actually fixing the problem. I Told them about the check engine light coming on, they said keep driving it. Then I almost got T-boned at an intersection. Am calling CP24 and CTV News about this.

Harold Jung was a sales consultant and I had overrall good experience with him.
He was willing to nagocitate and try to help me out to reach out a good deal.
After sign off a sales contract, he was respoinsive on my inquries.
When my new car delivery was delayed due to pandemic, He let me use one of company rental vehicle when I needed a bigger vehicle for personal use.
It was a hassle free transaction for new car purchase and everything went pretty smooth.
If you concidering Hyundai vehicles, I would recommend harold at DVNH.

I just purchased a 2020 Tuscon. The experience was a tremendous. The General Manager Jay Goldberg set me up with the Sales manager Tigran Avagyan. Tigran then had me meet with Spencer Luk , Sales Rep., who then went through what my needs were and showed me the various options that were available. The best fit for me was the Tuscon. Once the decision was made, everything else ran like clockwork. Everyone was very informative and helpful during the process which made it quite seamless.
I would certainly and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new car. I know that I will go back when the need arises.

Will be switching to another brand next year. They made me wait six hours to get my recall service done. Just because I don't pay anything for my recall, they kept me the last one to pick up my car even though I went in @ 1pm to leave my car and didn't get back until 7pm. The reason was there was no shuttle car for me. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know . I have to keep calling them five time s and got a run about with no call bacsk even when I left a message for the advisor to call me back. Extremely bad service!!!!!

We had an insurance claim for our car s windshield and after following up for several weeks we go there and realize the order we were told was put in for the windshield had never been put through! People change all the time and it s almost impossible to reach the advisor on file or get them to call back. Very frustrating and disappointing. As if there customer time and business has absolutely no value. We will never deal here again!

I came to this dealership last night to look at a 3.8L Hyundai Genesis new or used. I was greeted by Spencer Luk, and he was very unprofessional. If you ever come to this dealership, avoid Spencer Luk. He treated me with impatience and spoke harshly. I felt very not welcomed. I am going to a different Hyundai dealership to buy my Genesis.

I was car shopping for my folks and have pretty much gone to other dealerships, bringing DNV Hyundai last on my list. I was firstly greeted by Eric and had him show me a model and although we had Fayaz taken care of us later on, I really appreciate the fact that Eric was really mindful of the language barrier my folks had and happily passed us on to Fayaz because he wanted us to be comfortable enough and do what s right. Fayaz s service was beyond exceptional. He had taken the time to hear our needs first and then proceeded to show us different vehicles that were within our budget and liking. He had us at the second vehicle and gave us an offer that other dealers couldn t beat. He was super friendly, attentive, and very mindful throughout the entire process of us financing our first vehicle. And not to forget to mention, their Finance Manager Jasmine went beyond to help us get approved for the rate I had trouble getting approved for but she made it happen. I just cant help but to write a review of this dealership, the are DEFINITELY not 4.9/5 and more like 0.9/5

We walked in here once to inquire about a 5-day sale that was going on at the time; we kinda knew what we were looking for then so we just asked the sales person about a specific model (it was the Sonata GL.. which they were doing a $4,500 off MSRP promotion).
The sales person started by telling us that was not available and suggested a few other alternatives (which doesnt qualify for the $4500 discount)... which was fine but we told him we were only interested because of the $4500 discount so we asked if he could order the GL for us from the factory or get it from another dealership...
He then started LYING about how that's not possible because the discount only applies to car they have in stock, AND there is not going to be enough time to order anyway because it takes time for the car to arrive, and by the time the car gets here the promotion would've expired and we wouldn't get the discount... blah blah blah which we knew was not true because another dealership ordered one for our friend.
I told him that we know it is possible but then he was like "oh wait, let me guess.. was your friend at kingscross hyundai? yea they are pretty agressive but i dont think your friend is really going to get his discount at the end they might just cancel the deal"
At that point we thought we had enough BS from this dealership so went over to kingscross hyundai as suggested, and bought a car there that very same day (and yes, they had to order one from another dealership, but they were willing to and that didnt affect the discount at all), their service was excellent, night and day compared to the BS we got from DVN Hyundai.
