Good service and overall quality. There were few rough edges on some of the presentation of both staff behavior and product but in general I felt as though everyones intention was to create a positive environment for our vacation. I would recommend this place.

Been here for 5 days attending a meeting. The hotel is really good and well design, with all the services you expect from a luxury hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable. Convention center and meeting rooms also are well organized. The hotels has direct access to the ocean, a beautiful pool and spa and fitness services.

This use to be a Westin. It was contemporary and classy. Now it is a Hilton and the entire decor has changed to casual and beachy. No more complimentary room water bottles, slippers or robes. Beach service is not good. Disappointed.

Terrible service. Fridge doesn't work . Ruined $100 worth of food. Was promises a certain room and got another. Room services didn't clean my room until 530 pm twice. Wasn't offered any kind d of credit. Even though the hotel was nice the rooms weren't as nice as pictured . Very bad experience. Never again

This is a great place to stay in Hollywood. It is actually my favorite place to stay in South Florida. It is right in the middle of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Great service, great food and it is right on the beach. I am staying here for Labor Day weekend and I am very excited to come back.

Poor service. Had to call everyday to have my room cleaned. Guest service had a lot of attitude as though asking to have my room cleaned was out of the ordinary. DOES the hefty price not include the cleaning of rooms? When they would come , they would vacuum. NO towels or toileries were left they didn't even bother taking the dirty glasses or providing an alternative. Perhaps because I didn't leave a large tip. So disappointed. Waste of money. The location was convenient and the pool was nice but THAT'S ALL. They did not even appologize. I would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

I want to personally express my gratitude to both Rhodes/Luc for making our stay the best! They were so accommodating to our stay as we were unfamiliar with the hotel itself. They made sure our food arrived in a promptly manner and also made sure our cabana was in a convenient place as we didn t want to be around people as one of our friend was recuperating from a surgery. Thank you for making our stay so amazing, we will definitely be returning ... and asking for him!

My rating would be 0. But it doesn't exist. So I give it a star. Well, despite the fact that the hotel is beautiful. Frontdesk's attention is appalling. The staff working there is not up to that corporation. Well, they charged me a bill that isn't mine. And when I went to dispute the bill. They treated me super badly. After 3 long hours of waiting there was no response. They didn't check the cameras and made me pay for something I didn't consume. I have all the tests until more, the bill has 2 hours before my arrival at the hotel. And my man even wrote the check and my room number. Now . What I do not understand is how 2 hours before checkin charges something to the room and hot is not present. Someone explain to me. ... Unfortunate incident cannot occur. And if it happens. They should give the client a solution. I have proof of everything. And if you want more information about this case. Let me know. Thank you.

The resort is beautiful. Decor in the lobby and in the rooms is modern and stylish. But don t come here if you want to relax. We were there from Thursday through Tuesday. The weekend saw the hotel full of families. Loud families. Families in the pools long after they closed, making sleeping difficult. Had to call Security to shut that down. My sister had to call Security because of an argument happening in the hall outside her room. When booking a room, make sure you aren t in a connecting room unless you need one. We could hear everything next door. And I have never stayed at a hotel with louder closing doors. Then after the families left, the conventioneers took over the hotel. No way to enjoy the cool lobby bar because they had the whole place. The one positive is the customer service. Everyone was great.

The Diplomat is a fun place to stay! It is undergoing some renovations but that didn't take away from it being a fun stay. The location is awesome placing you on the ocean and the beautiful intercoastal waterway. On top of the water views, the location is close to shopping, dining and entertainment.

The hotel itself is nice and gives you a feel of opulence even while undergoing renovations. The staff was pleasant. It's also a lively resort and one could find enough entertainment within without having to leave the property!

The rooms were great and the views spectacular! The rooms were like modern with an old school feel. Our room was modern yet very retro! The bathroom was design inspiring! Loved the glass shower/toilet combo and the louvered partition that also opens up to the room... nice!

My biggest complaint... is it's a very busy hotel making valet parking undesirable. The drop off area and valet was clogged and just a big cluster 'F'. My advice, if you aren't spoiled and can stand to walk a little and carry your own luggage (provided you don't have a lot of it!) I advise one to self park! If they fix that, they'll solve one major problem.

Outside of the drop off/valet issue everything else was fine! I'll def visit this hotel again!

Very large hotel with a connected convention center, multiple dining venues, pool, and beach access. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars if I were able to utilize the balcony I paid for. Smh

Beautiful hotel right on the beach with amazing outdoor pool. Monkitail (one of the restaurants) is fantastic. Still no real room service and confusing restaurant hours makes it less than a 5 star stay.

It is a great location with even bigger potential. I am HiltonHon... Member. And i enjoy staying at Hilton locations.. Hotel 5 stars.. Staff just 3... I pass several staff memebers including a manager... Walking around in the hotel. But ... No greetings... No , how is you stay?... Or day?... Or at least a smile that will wash half of the shame...why? They have no mission statement in thier mind... Just a job. A job that needs to get it done so they won't be fired and rent will be payed. I have an hospitality background and i know is not necessarily the employee fault. Rather a leadership one for the specific hotel. In order for an employer to be great must follow a great leader ... To be inspired, motivated, fulfill... And simply amazing. So my question.... What is the leadership belives in the mission of this great hotel?

The hotel was awesome with a wonderful View and ambient. DJ every Saturday and free parking. The food at the bar is good ,quick and with some conservative prices. ..also, the rooms are equipped with all toys to keep you happy

Fans of Jane the Virgin might be reminded of the hotel from that series. The curio brand from Hilton is billed as "boutique" hotels offering "unique" experiences. I would not qualify this hotel as boutique it has a large convention center and at the time of our stay there was a large crowds doing scavenger hunts and other dumb team building exercises.

As far as the hotel itself it was very nice. The restaurants offered good food at higher but perhaps expected prices. The room was clean and spacious and the pool was excellent and the resort fee includes beach chairs but the umbrella costs 22 dollars.

Overall I will be coming back.

Impressive building in a great location. Over priced restaurants that include an outlandish service fee (tip) no matter how good or bad the waiter/waitress is. Had to speak to a manager and get the automatic tip removed from a bill of ours because the waiter did not deserve a penny. I will say we were very thirsty before our meal was over. The staff has been very nice and friendly otherwise. Very disappointed that our 33rd floor balcony was off limits. Defeats the purpose obviously.

My wife and I spent this past weekend at the Westin with an ocean view and found the entire experience to be absolutely wonderful. The amenities the hotel provides speak for themselves....the location, the (2) pools, the beach with umbrellas and chairs.....the king sized (extremely comfortable) bed, the oversized tub, separated from the bedroom (and the ocean view) by sliding doors....which could be opened to allow an unobstructed view of the water....were all marvelous features - but what really made this visit one to remember, was the staff: From the valet parking staff, to the bellhops, the maids, the front desk personnel, the pool people, the kitchen staff.....were all without exception - friendly, courteous, and extremely professional. We travel a fair bit....and both of us agreed - this was one of our best hotel experiences ever. The in-room dining (breakfast for two), while quite enjoyable, was a little pricey - $90.(with tip). However, if you prefer to eat off the property, there are plenty of excellent eateries within a few minutes drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to give kudos to the people at the Westin Diplomat for helping to make this a weekend to remember...!!

The pier with yachts and the square with the illuminated fountain is a great place for a romantic evening! Even with young children! And for this you do not need to be a visitor to the hotel. We came here from another place, took a glass of beer and just enjoyed a mild evening overlooking the waving yachts and the fountain waterfall. And the children played free games available here: they threw rings and sacks of sand, climbed the models of the cars, folded the bricks. There you can eat. And you can wander along the walkways above the canal. There are wonderful views for photography.

Sad that this hotel is still closed because of the pandemic / flu BS the government is feeding us... The reason for the poor review has more to do with them having a set course on when They will be reopening. You would think this is common sense.... Believe it's been closed for a very long while. Wake up everybody's out things are open and have been for many months now

The hotel WAS BEAUTIFUL! Staff were not the best but the view and room were just mesmerizing enough. The only thing I have complaints on is the VALET. SUPER unprofessional. My partner and I waited atleast an hour and 15 minutes just to receive our car after asking THREE times when they will be pulling up with it. They would bring out all the expensive cars up (mercedes, benz, rolls royce, etc) before ours, mind you, the owners of those vehicles would come way after us. So yes, they have a preference on which car to bring out. Also, they WILL race your car up the driveway like if it was theirs, no wonder they bring out the expensive cars... they surely enjoy them too much. I had a wonderful stay it just upsets me that valet was the one to spoil our vacation. My suggestion is to park in front of the hotel which there is a parking garage and that is your best bet honestly.

Disappointing ! This hotel has its architecture and its location, it is also the only positive point.
Staff extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Wifi fee $ 15 per day !!!! Parking $ 50 per day !!!! The air conditioner in the lobby is so cold that it's like being in Siberia.
Not even a bottle of water in the room. I do not understand how we can give 5 stars to this establishment ????
Staff who park the vehicles do not take the payment card and want cash ?????
It's a shame that the staff is not competent.
Sincerely go your way

It was the worst experience we've ever had during Christmas vacations. Staff, housekeepers were not friendly or helpful at all. They didn't want to replace our pool wrist bends that cut our hands. My child's hand was bleeding because of the sharp ends of the wrist bend. I threw it away and asked for another one. The receptionist lady said there wouldn't be any replacement until we bring her the old one. Such a big deal to give another one! Staff don't care about the customers. We asked for a booked reservation with included breakfast for 4 people- 2 adults and 2 children. The receptionist guy never paid attention and chose the wrong option for us, so the next day our kids were without breakfast or we had to pay $35 dollars per child (of course, me and my wife had to feed them somewhere else). They never gave us confirmation papers. We spoke to the manager lady. She was no help, either. Very indifferent and careless. She completely ignored our requests and showed no desire to help us whatsoever. Water bottles had to be exchanged for wooden tokens. One token per bottle. One bottle per person per day. What a shame! The resort staff didn't have name badges. Felt like they were hiding something. Finally, we gave up and left the resort very disappointed and with no desire to ever come back there or recommend it to any of our friends or family members.

We stayed at the Diplomat as a reward for winning a service contest with my wife's work, pretty upscale place, we love the atmosphere, and is right on the beach. Only temporary con I have is that they are doing a lot of renovation on the outside of one of the towers, and this hampers thier image and occasionally a path you might be used to taking to the beach or restraunts. There are several other paths easily accessible though, and this should not be considered a big minus.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would for being such a nice resort this place really lakes customer service . Our room did not have any ac the toilet was broken the pool area did not have enough seating to accommodate their guest forcing myself and my family to stand while a few of us enjoyed the pool.once we went to sleep at night on our first night after check in there was food and candy left by a previous party which leads me to believe the sheets had not been changed .when concerns were addressed with the hotel manager she did not seem to express any concern . this place is not a good option for families . Also there are roof leaks all over the hotel where they had to put towels on the floor which is ridiculous at a luxury resort .anyone could fall and seriously get injured .Save your money .
