Very nice zoo with also a big part with a dinosaurs section (not real donors ofcourse )

Nice zoo. Everything nicely laid out. Lots of choice in animals.

It is a pity that a lot is now closed and different thanks to corona and that you have to make a reservation ... which is difficult if you live almost 2 hours away and you get stuck in traffic. Fortunately, the cashier did not care that we were late.

Definitely recommended with children.

I found the corona rules well followed. Plenty of room everywhere. Of course it is important that you also pay attention to what you do. Take into account.
I do wonder if everything is going well with the bear in the beginning of the park, but I assume that the zookeepers know more about it than I do

Beautiful, clean and well-kept park. Many playgrounds, and you can look very close to the animals.

This is very small zoo, poor condition of animals. I felt really bad for those animals. Toilets were not so clean, poor hygiene. I shall never recommend to visit this zoo.

Too many people. Seems like nobody cares about how loud people are. It must be very disturbing for animals. The zoo is beautiful.

The animals behind the glass, and many animals. Beautiful in the forest. Everywhere toilets. Well thought out for the children. There is an exciting slide everywhere. Especially those in the beginning with the birds. Definitely recommended and to come back.

We drove an hour and a half from Assen to visit the animal park, right? Yes, what a beautiful park! It exceeded our expectations. We were worried about the traffic jam on the way to the park, but the crowds soon spread, so it didn't bother you. I was particularly impressed by the natural wooded location / layout. Furthermore, it is a nice park for kids because of the numerous playgrounds that have not been cut back, a good change with the animals. The water playground is also very nice (bring a few extra clothes). The animals were all clearly visible. I could go on and on, but I would just visit, sweet all day. What perhaps played a part was the wonderful weather. I will definitely come back!

The animal park is well maintained and there is plenty of play for the children. However, it cannot be compared in terms of level with Arnhem or Rotterdam. The dinosaur forest seems to have been constructed to make it a bit more attractive in terms of size, but you do not come to a zoo for statues. After 2 hours you are through. Maybe this has to do with the covid but it was not what I expected.

Was a really nice zoo but the lady at box office 2 was grumpy today. Furthermore, the zoo was one of the nicest zoos in the Netherlands

We had our doubts about keeping animals in zoos, but after a tour of the unforgettable Marjo Hoedemaker we knew that animals can have a great time, especially in Amersfoort.

Catering was okay, fries unfortunately a bit lukewarm, but reasonable to eat.

For the little ones who cannot walk too long they have elephant buggies for rent. We had made use of this. Unfortunately it was "stolen" early in the day when we parked it to do something without a buggy. It's a shame and the children were very sad that someone just took it with them. Fortunately, a super compliment to the park who gave a new one without any problems, just showed the receipt and it was solved. That way we could still have a nice day.
Too bad there are dishonest people walking around taking something to transport your little one, even if it is not our property, we rented it and paid a deposit for it.

Had a super time! Very nice to be able to view different animal species in real life. The weather was great on our visit day, but very quiet due to the working day. We have also experienced the "cold hugs" show. You had the opportunity to touch the cold-blooded animals.
The only downside was that we had to look very hard for a place to get something fresh or possibly to eat. Finally found a location and ordered a burger with fries. Fries were delicious, but I thought the burger was terrible. The preparation method was not entirely correct in my opinion. This was the food place at the dino park.
Apart from that, it was great!

Very nice zoo. You can see the animals well .. but they also have places to retreat .... for children there is a lot to climb and clamber and also the big "children" can have fun here. We have bought a subscription because we definitely go here more often!

Nice zoo, can easily fill your day full of fun things. You can get closer to the animals than, for example, Blijdorp. highly recommended.

We have been here last Saturday and had a great day. Lots of play options for the kids, eateries at different places, plenty of tables and chairs. Route was well signposted and people adhered to the rules. Animals looked good and enclosures were clean. I cannot agree with some of the negative reviews. We will definitely come back!

I go here once every month. It's a great place for a walk and just to relaxe. But if you want a nice day out you will definitely have a good one here. It will take you the entire day to get through it all.

Corona is not good for the park but the mandatory walking route and fewer visitors is ideal for those who do come, too, it's a good idea of the popup food stands with a queue

You notice how much space most animals have. The birds are a bit dull but in general it looks good. It is pleasant to walk and the children are well catered for. I think the design of some pavilions is really beautiful, they have been worked on with love and fantasy. The dinopark feels a bit old-fashioned, at least to me. For little ones it will be huge (creepy). And the brachiosaurus is beautiful. Food and drinks are fine and toilets are well looked after and well available. Good parking space; for trainers half an hour walk from Amersfoort Central.

Old and in need of renovation. Very many animals that are well cared for. What I found strange was that the park just sold the exit to the park. And says that the parking lot is full. This was certainly not the case. 8 euros for a day of parking is reasonable. Not overly expensive. But because they said the parking lot was full. Many people have to walk 900 meters and 900 meters back. It is then free parking. The park may use an update. And a little better signage. The miss nothing signs are no longer everywhere. It goes from 11 to 40. Anyway. It was a nice nice day despite the rain.

Beautiful park and because you can get close to the animals it is very suitable for small children .. what I find less is that you can smoke everywhere, this is not pleasant, certainly not with children, in citizens there are eg smoking points so others do not suffer from it ..

Visited the zoo with the family. Beautiful care, large variety of animals. All very neat. Well worth it. Not too expensive.

Nice animal park. The animals are clearly visible. If you follow the route (clearly indicated by numbering) you will pass all animals. The dinosaurs at the back of the zoo are also worth a visit.
There are plenty of places where you can eat and drink. There are plenty of toilets where you have to take into account that they smell something just like the animals ...

First animal park we visited in times with corona. Upon arrival, the parking lot was completely full, drove several laps and finally found a place. We have experienced the mandatory walking route as positive, because you can hardly skip anything now. We found it busy, a meter and a half is impossible.
For the rest a beautiful zoo where the animals are well cared for.

This park had stayed with me positively from the past. Unfortunately the visit was disappointing today. Not so much because of the corona measures but the park looks a bit run down.
As said before, the bear is sad at first. Perhaps for good reason, but then add that. That saves a lot of oh how pathetic , and that already upon entering.
The lofts are sometimes on the tight side, but the larger accommodations also appear as if no maintenance is being done. Everywhere tree root stumps as a fence, in my view, look very cheap and unfortunately do not give the impression of a well-kept park.
At the coffee tent near the first playground, a young man with a beard sighed to help the customers. He forgot our pink cake and when we came to get it later, a lot of foo because I no longer had the receipt as proof. Fine dude, keep that cake tasty!
The toilets also smelled like urine and that should be cleaned more often.
Giraffe stay is beautiful, water bike tour original although I don't really know what I think about paying 5 for this; after all, you have already paid quite an entrance fee.

A great day out, but from now on we choose a different destination than this one. I hope that there will soon be financial means to renovate things, because that is badly needed.

Superb zoo, shaded and perfect by great heat. Many activities for children who can access many observation points through tunnels, monkey bridges, toboggan ... our 2 year old daughter loved the visit.

Visited Amersfoort Zoo today but unfortunately a very disappointing experience. In my opinion, animals are in small houses compared to, for example, Wildlands in Emmen. The bear at the beginning of the park was all alone, without peers. In addition, little or very aging information boards about the animals. Walking routes were not well maintained. Parking lot was completely full and too many people in the park. Toilets at the exit not clean properly. In addition, we could no longer reserve the periods for the morning with our ANWB ticket, while these periods were still available if you bought a ticket at Amersfoort Zoo yourself. We had unfortunately already viewed the park within an hour. Too bad and I hope that of all those people who were in the park today, the ticket proceeds will benefit the animals in the park.
