Mega beautiful zoo. I have visited many zoos. My highlight was the White Tiger! What I liked very much, is that you have to look at almost all enclosures several ways to look purely and was much worked with discs to have a nice view of the animals. Only the parking fee of 8 I think a bit too expensive. Otherwise really great.

Nice animal park. Not too massive. You can get very close to the animals.
There is a lot to do especially for children.
Playgrounds, train and many interactive things.

Great animal park! We have a subscription and go regularly. We never skip the elephants and Dinobos and the fun playground does not stop as well :)

A great place perfect for spending free time with children

We find many trees and animals here. Lots of activities for the children.
Certainly a must !!! But take some food and drink with you.

It is definitely worth watching here with the children.

Very good animal park, beautiful and spacious and very nice for children. With rope ladders you can also walk over the enclosures with some animals and slide down the slide, although that is a bit painful (but that is my personal opinion). There are many different animals although some do not show themselves, but I did not mind. What was also nice was the night part and the 100,000 animal house, where you can put a spider on your hand during the weekend. In good weather it is also recommended to take a pedal boat through the park and for the little ones there is also an option to ride a train through the park. You can also eat well and it is reasonably affordable, the entrance price is also very low compared to other zoos.

One of the best zoos in the Netherlands. With nice old fashioned playground.

A very professional animal friendly Zoo! Not too big, but you will need half a day to see most. Very educational for small children as well as adults. I visited the zoo several times with my small children, always something new. Very innovative!
They also have a very good price for a year ticket. The animals get more and more space in a natural environment.
The zoo is situated in a very nice local habitat in the AMERFOORT woods. Even the car parking is a nice spot surrounded in a typical Dutch nature. No polders. No, the original Netherlands. Very nice! Photos soon.

Super cute zoo, not too big but enough to keep you entertained for a day. Always innovations are made. All kinds of routes over the animals to climb eye through a sparing corridor and you suddenly stand between the hyenas. Nice info signs with what they eat and where they come from. Nice shop and not too expensive.

I was completely surprised about the changes.
Some animals were very accessible.
Other animals had much.more living space.
Really super.

Nice zoo. Good visibility everywhere and lots of fun activities for the kids.

We were here with the kids of 3 and 4 years during the special warm winter evenings and that was super fun and atmospheric !! Camp fires, lots of lights, music, food trucks, a toboggan run and the magical winter forest. All in all enjoy!

You can see the animals very close. The zoo is not very big.

Nice zoo, where you can see most animals well. I especially liked the nocturnal stay. The sloths crept over our heads. Take the time to get your eyes used and you see many animals walking.

Super cozy zoo, walking route clearly indicated through a "miss nothing" route. Even in November it is a nice park to walk through. Enough animals to see. Especially where you walk through a dark hall with all kinds of nocturnal animals. Sandwiches were tasty and a reasonable price.

8 euro parking fees really disappointed me. Entrance tickets are also not really advantageous.

What a beautiful animal park, highly recommended! Very well cared for, very nice dinopark, lots of climbing and climbing things for the little ones. Also handy: the marked 'Don't miss anything' route. Parking costs 8.

Because we made a mistake with the reservation tickets, we could not enter the park with our three kids at 4:00 pm, but only at 4:00 pm. Our own mistake, nothing to do. The park is fine, nice variety of animals, lots of activities for the children; positive. But where the rules for the reservation tickets are so strictly enforced, we notice little more in the park itself of compliance with the 1.5 meter rule. What a bustle in the park, keeping enough distance is impossible. It was very oppressive and did not make for a very relaxing experience. The children enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be back, but probably not until the Corona crisis is over.

Fun, beautiful and very educational for the kids. Although my son got scared in the dino forest and with the birds of prey. But we will certainly come back on a weekday when it is not that busy.

Funny as time is. Today I went again early and back early. Beautiful the new part. Started in the new full-fledged cage and then into the boat via the free-running monkeys. The boat is more difficult for a lot of people than they want to admit.
But it has been nicely refurbished. Highly recommended.

Very nicely landscaped zoo, lots of greenery, beautiful accommodations and lots of corners to spot animals. Beautiful climbing and climbing routes to animal spots especially for children. The 'miss nothing' route may be a little clearer, but you will work it out. Enough clean toilets and baby changing place also with the men. Restaurant service could be a bit smoother.

Nice zoo! Only the catering is poor and incredibly expensive, restaurant is dirty / not clean.

Cool place, a nice walk through beautiful nature. It's a good sized zoo, not too big but not too small either, enough cool animals to see. A bit too overdone with the dinosaur section, a zoo is for living animals, not a theme-park. The coffee/food areas can also be a bit better looking, they look unorganized and ugly designed. Overall is great for kids obviously!

I think the most beautiful zoo in the Netherlands is, you see the animals from very close by.

Nice active park for children, with regard to animals changing in terms of lofts. Somewhat unclear so you have the idea to miss something, even with the 'miss nothing' route. You are really sweet there; so good for a day out!

Extensive Animal Park with lots of play for the Kids. Multiple parts where you can walk closer to and through the animals. We have had a subscription for the whole family for a few years.

Nice zoo, the animals look well cared for. The accommodations are a bit old to see. I miss some more information about animal stays. The route through the park is very nice! The nocturnal stay is super cool. Furthermore, it is nice that you can get there well with public transport. Had a super nice afternoon.

Fun zoo! Sufficient to see. Plenty of play options for children. There is also enough catering available. Train through the park. Boats with which you can sail a bit. Child-friendly park. Wide paths where you can walk with your family. Animals look well cared for. Ample parking facilities (eur 8.00). Enough for a wonderful day out!

Very beautiful zoo, the animals are very good to see and they have many different animals. Delicious among the trees.

The zoo is very interesting and has a lot of animals. Two stars less for stinky water in otters enclosure and in general smell of manowar nearly every time during visit. School children were running everywhere screaming, bumping onto people. No one had any control over them. Even monkeys were shocked.

Nice zoo and more than enough for young children. Behind the pizza tent, however, where children sometimes run back, a tent-herring in full glory is ready to irreparably damage a child's knee when they fall on it. (see picture). The zoo is responsible for when this takes place and someone becomes disabled due to this. I hope that this is noted.

We have had a subscription for a number of years, it is cheaper and you have an easy outing for the children where there is a lot to do. In addition to animals, of course, also playgrounds and something is regularly organized such as winter days and food truck festival.

Great zoo, lots of room for the animals yet still very visible. You can get very close to most animals as there are often no gates or glass between you and the animals. Very cool dinosaur bit as well and playgrounds and alternative ways to get close to animals like crawl spaces and slides.

Lots of crawl through, sneak through for the kids (and adults). Beautifully laid out, lots of variety.
The animal offer is also super.
Different animals that you do not have in other zoos, they have here.
It looks like the ring-tailed makis is the animal that every zoo must have. You come across them everywhere.
The Dinobos remains a great thing. Especially for the boys.

The pedal boat and zip line are very nice additions. Somehow I understand that they ask a small contribution for that.

All in all a top zoo!

Super cute zoo. Especially the train is often with us and of course the playground at the large restaurant. Fine zoo to stay a whole day but you only want a morning is also good to do. Nice secret slides and climbing ropes above the stays of the animals or next to them. Super nice also the night part and the dino forest is very nice

Very nice zoo, with large environments for the animals. Children can often walk over the living environments through special staircase and bridge structures to admire the animals from different perspectives. Parking ticket is expensive.

You come very close to the animals and you can even stay in some of them. Everywhere there are slides and things to climb in and through stays, super fun for kids. And we have seen the baby sloth from very close by!

The app could use some tweaks, but is still useful to help navigate the park.

mooie speel en klim toestellen voor de kinderen. voor ieder wat wils...niemand had last van elkaar, corona regels hadden ze prima voor elkaar
echt een top dierenpark , we hebben genoten .

Beautiful zoo only sometimes paths bad to do with wheelchair
Dogs are welcome and there are water bowls for the dog everywhere

Especially recommended for grandparents with grandchildren. So do we.
