Very busy, but cozy and very nicely dressed. Food, a pity that you have to stand in line for so long. Of course everyone wants to eat, but maybe there are even more places to put down trucks and push down the price.

Nice zoo. Do much innovation for both animal and human. Also have many fun activities such as Foodtrucks weekend in the summer or winter evenings. For children it is a big adventure with the countless climbing possibilities through stay. They could do more in the field of animal education!

We had a good time but the dirty windows at the lofts were a bit disappointing. Also, despite the hefty entrance fees, having to pay for the train, merry-go-round and cars separately is actually a bit crazy. Well shot pictures of a number of animals. The kids have certainly enjoyed themselves.

Nice zoo with plenty to do for my son. Unfortunately during this visit there were people who did not give a fallen elderly woman in a wheelchair space, that really disappointed me. We had to squeeze ourselves in turns to let the lady pass through the night loft, that became painful.

It is not the prettiest zoo in the Netherlands, but it is a great place for a day out. Nice that the caretakers like to tell something about the animals. Especially the presentation of the different elephants was very nice done by the caretaker. The otters were very active ... Like many other animals. (It was not very warm either). There is plenty of opportunity for something to eat or drink. I myself am a fan of hot chocolate with apple pie ... But I skipped it here. Only the hot chocolate ...

First of all this zoo is very beautiful, nicely decorated and lovely to see, BUT there were quite some upsetting things I want to point out.

Let s start at the beginning: if you have a dog, like I do, it s nice because dogs are allowed inside the park, BUT oh please be careful!!! Right behind the entrance are some prairie animals sitting behind an ELECTRIC FLOOR!!! IT IS NOT VISIBLE TO NON-DUTCH SPEAKERS THAT YOUR DOG WILL GET ELECTROCUTED IF WALKING ON THAT FLOOR!!!!
If you don t wear any shoes or fall on it YOU WILL GET AN ELECTRIC SHOCK as well!!
Even though there is a kind of security person, don t even think they will warn you. In my case she did it right AFTER my dog got an electric shock. Thank you very much...

There is another way to go around those prairie animals but if it s busy - like it was when I went there - you will not see it immediately. So be careful.

Another thing annoying me like crazy is the map and signs confusing the hell out of you. It isn t clear at all where the exit is.
When it s getting dark you can t see anything at all, because they shut off the lights and we were so lost, because there aren t always signs where the exit is. Even a person working there got kind of lost helping us to find our way back.

And if you have to go to the toilet, be prepared to be disappointed. I went from one side of the park to the other because some toilets were just closed but signs were still pointing towards them, so I had to walk until some signs pointed towards another direction. Took me about 15min to find another toilet.

I m very disappointed. The whole experience was ruined by the electrocution of my dog, who was so traumatized afterwards it took her hours to recover.
And the worst thing of all was: this happed MULTIPLE TIMES during my visit there. When I left the zoo I heard another dog crying because apparently it walked on the electric floor as well. We even heard stories about small dogs getting shocked, too. So THIS is an absolutely terrible and awful thing to happen.

Either the zoo has to fix this big problem or even more dogs will get hurt. I really hope they fix it, because it s a beautiful zoo after all.

I d love to change my review and the 2 stars, if the zoo will change at least the problem with the electric floor.

What a desolate condition, it all feels more like a large petting zoo than a zoo: small spaces for the animals, hardly any indoor enclosures, hardly any exotic animals (apart from the famous crocodile or elephant, hardly any information about the animals and their natural habitat, illogical walking structure , the worst restaurants that I have ever encountered, uninspired architecture, boring shops, etc. But all for the small entrance fee of 24, - pp + 8, - for a parking ticket. real animal park.

The one star that was left is for the friendly staff; they were all very sympathetic, so there is at least one manager who understands his or her profession there.

great zoo. normally I'm not really into zoo's but this one is really fun and great for kids. lots of stuff to do as well. I loved the house with the jungle inside it which was totally dark for the night animals that reside there.

Great zoo, lots of playgrounds, grounds well maintained, nice selection of animals and each enclosure has a fun play element for kids (slide, climbing, raft, etc). Nicely situated in the forest, fun activities during school holidays. Our son loves the dino park.

Very enjoyable experience. The garden is clean and large and contains a large number and variety of famous and rare animals, where restaurants play places for children, the way to see the animals very creative by climbing and then skiing, they have offers you must ask for their times ,,,
Zipline finds, boats, we spent the whole day without bored

Wow, this zoo was really above expectations! Walking above the bears, after the lions of the slide, the 'miss niks route', train, giraffes, elephants, monkeys etc etc. And a cool playground, with enough seating for the dads and mums, we have a great time!

Nice zoo where children get their money's worth. You can see a lot of animal enclosures from above, which gives you a completely new perspective. For example, you can see giraffes from very close and look them directly in the face. Very well-kept zoo, would go back if I was nearby.

Great day neat treatment. Did not know that we could park for free with a disabled card.
After that, an exit card is brought all the way to the top.
Small point of criticism the toilet paper on the toilets is on the small side.

Beautiful park and parking. Despite the hustle and bustle, I never felt claustrophobic or rushed. They sold delicious hot syrup waffles and good cappuccino. French fries etc I found a little less successful but tastes differ.

I think the combination of animals and botanical gardens is very well done. All well cared for!

My children loved the playgrounds too!

Only downside I found the nocturnal animals. It was beautiful to see but despite being asked to be quiet, nobody was. I can imagine that the animals, who can't go anywhere, will get through their days very stressed.

Nice animal park, beautifully maintained with many play areas for the kids.
I.v.m. corona was not accessible, but that is understandable. Everything was well indicated, clear walking directions, hand washing places, etc.
The behavior of quite a few fellow visitors occasionally fell short, but the zoo cannot help that. It is difficult to maintain social distance when a tiger is seen

Dino park was also nice to see both there was no movement

Overall a nice day. We will definitely come back more often!

A very nice beautiful zoo to make a family outing. Very nice for the children. It is a big zoo with many species of animals. Sometimes I think that the lofts may be bigger. E.g. That of the tigers. They use a large piece of forest as a dino park. So there are put down every 100 meters plastic dinosaurs, while there is enough space to put a few nice big pens for animals that really need the space seems to me. Furthermore, the park is very neat. And the animals look well cared for.

This might not be the best zoo for educational purposes. But the animals are well taken care of, the cages are big enough and there are many activities for kids. Bring your own food though. The restaurant food is yucky.

Was very nice. And the dog was allowed.
The dog told me that she really liked it. She was really excited when she finally saw an elephant.
Her dream came true.
A great day!

We bought an annual subscription. It now appears that as a subscription holder you can only reserve today between 3 pm and 3.30 pm. While the single tickets can still be reserved at 13.00-13.30.

Nowhere in the conditions does it say that single tickets have priority over subscription holders. This is called scam!

It is a very nice park and moreover you are allowed to come along and that is well arranged throughout the park drinking everywhere and where the dog was not welcome you could go around with a good route

Large park where you can see almost all the animals we know. Some parts the animals will come to you. Besides animals you can also see many dinosaurs. There are many activities for the little ones with climbing and scrambling next to it. Unfortunately due to COVID19 most were closed. You can also make a round with a train. There are also two large playgrounds where the children can enjoy themselves.

Nice zoo not too big but expensive. 8 euro parking and some food and drink in the park make it almost impossible for anyone with a narrow purse to come here. A family with two Kids can easily lose 100 euros at the entrance.
The voluntary guides were nice and provided a lot of fun info when asked.

If you go to the zoo on Saturday (and the weather is fantastic), you expect huge crowds and waiting times. Fortunately, we have not noticed anything at all!
In this tree-rich environment it seems as if the animals stay in their natural environment. That is of course not the case, but it does indicate that the zoo in Amersfoort has made a great job of this place.
Definitely recommended!
