Amersfoort Zoo is one of my favorites, because it is less than an hour's drive from my house and because the park is not very big, but there is plenty to see and do.
It is a nice cozy park and for the children enough nice places to see the animals better, such as all kinds of "secret" passages such as tunnels, bridges that often end with a slide. There are also plenty of food / beverage outlets and benches scattered throughout the park. There are also many toilets and the staff is very friendly.

All in all a great zoo, although I sometimes wonder whether certain animals can withdraw from all that attention. The tigers, for example, have windows all around in several places, so wonder if that's not too stressful for them.

Super cute zoo! The playful and natural design creates a nice atmosphere in the park. Plenty of food and drink options including a large playground for the kids. Parking and accessibility are also no problem.

Very nice zoo! Super much to do for children! Some stays are due for renewal. But most of them look very good.

Today for the 1st x with my grandchildren and what a very nice park, perfect combination between zoo and playground. Food was tasty and the prices are absolutely affordable unlike other parks. The portions are more than adequate ..... staff ilef and friendly. Toilets were, unfortunately, downright nasty. All in all a fantastic day and definitely worth repeating. I think I will take subscriptions because we will go there many times, one of the better parks in the Netherlands for me.

Ideal for small children (and somewhat larger). In addition to many animals, a large playground.

A very nice park! A very nice way for children to discover the animals while climbing and climbing. And also two large playgrounds to play the monkey yourself. The animals have a lot of space, but you can still see them well in different places. Recommended!

Nice zoo, nice route with many shortcuts with slides for children and older children. You can often see the animals through multiple sides. Stays are spacious.

My favorite zoo. Most animals got plenty of space. The food is pretty good but also quite expensive. All in all a nice place to go with family or friends.

DierenPark Amersfoort is easy to reach and is centrally located in the Netherlands. The park is large and clean. The animals all have large enclosures. You also have a bird house where you can go. You can feed the birds here. This naturally produces nice (photo) results. In the park you have enough places to relax. For the children there are also plenty of places where they can run, play and fly. Amersfoort Zoo is definitely recommended!

An average park but nice for children. The climbing all routes are very nice, unfortunately not accessible if you have difficulty walking and for adults it is quite an adventure to get through it. The miss nothing More

Because of the corona, the experience is possible only 1 route. You cannot walk back. Many wasps in the park. Staying and maintaining the park is nice

Very nice zoo. Dogs are also very welcome and have contact with the animals. Can see everything through the glass plate.

A real family park, well maintained and customer-friendly. In the middle of the woods. Enjoy a wonderful day with the family!

Spacious zoo in the forest. The forest enhances the feeling that you are in nature.
Quite a diversity of animals that live in spacious enclosures.
There are many toilets, benches (both in the sun and in the shade) and places to eat and drink.
The food was hot and delicious. I also liked that the (friendly) staff thought along with what I could eat with my lactose intolerance.

Nice zoo, just a pity that the toilets were so hard to find and my son therefore wet his pants. Furthermore, very creative and focused on children, that was very beautiful. Even with the pram we were able to pass almost everywhere. Worth repeating.

Very nice park, different animal species, plenty of food and beverage options. The walking routes are a bit confusing, but not necessary.

Mooi dierenpark met grote verblijven. In verband met Covid19 is er een eenrichtingsroute gemaakt die langs alle dieren lijdt. Prima geregeld!

Nice zoo, for children all kinds of climbing and sliding places

Nice zoo, good view of the animals. Even now with the current corona measures very well arranged by applying one-way traffic and installing disinfection columns in many places in the park.

Looks like the animals are really well cared for. Well arranged due to corona. Clear walking routes. Just a pity that there is no smoking zone anywhere.

Very nice and wooded area, park is very neat and clean. There is a lot to do for children, many playgrounds. Follow the "mis-niks route" if you do not want to miss anything. You really have to look at the dinopark, very nice. Downside is really the prices of the food and drinks, far too expensive. Toilets are reasonably clean, when busy more often check toilet paper in stock. I was without, fortunately I had someone with me who went to get toilet paper.

Fantastic park still enjoys it for the 100th always remains fun

A lot has been renewed here since our last visit a few years ago. Many animal enclosures now have glass walls down to the floor, which makes viewing animals much more fun for small children. Children can also walk through tree houses or hang bridges and slides through many accommodations. There is also a section with dinos not very large but sometimes nice to walk through. Our boy was particularly interested in the sloths (or would the movie zootropolis have anything to do with it :-)).

It is a not too large park ... with children to do well ... animals look well cared for. Really recommended!

Very nice animal park. The themes that they have created are fantastic. Very well done. Also nice is the combination that you can climb through certain stays. Focused on families / children. Route sometimes goes straight through animal enclosure, so you can experience everything even better!

Hammer Tierpark, first thought that the price is quite high, but if you look at the variety of animals and the very beautiful and lavishly designed enclosure with the many details and also the origin of the animals adapted themes, then it is really worth it special highlight are the outdoor enclosure in which you get very close to the animals and the many side walks with the tunnels and caves are not only fun for children ,

As far as the price goes, so you could perhaps at least the parking fee of 8 euros down or even free, but otherwise really great!

Great fun very nice for children and adults reminds me a lot of the old Noorder Dierenpark in Emmen.

A nice zoo. however the restaurant is messy and unappealing to sit. And give the animals more space by enlarging the pens. Also remove that metal strip over the zoo. Makes noise and does not belong to a zoo.

A very nice well-organized zoo. Not as huge as, for example, Blijdorp where you constantly have the idea that you have passed somewhere unseen. Moreover, super child-friendly and easily accessible for wheelchairs. Tip: water-saving toilets are great, but do something about that ... smell.

What a very nice zoo this is for children! There are so many small passages, climbing machines and slides that children do not realize that they always walk a bit. After every turn it is a surprise what you encounter and all animals are clearly visible. This holiday there was also the "Big Poepshow", which was very funny for the children. Thick recommendation!

I thought it was bad, the animal enclosures were not easy to see through the glass windows because these herds were so bad, so that is no improvement, a pity

It is a well-kept park. Although there were many people, it didn't feel very busy.
For children and some parents, the climbing routes through or around the animal enclosures are great fun. The dark slide is also fun exciting.
Only downside is signage in the park if you do not want to use a map.

Hopeless signage. You just wander around. Animal enclosures enjoyable. Have been many times but routing annoys me immensely. Point of improvement!

Nicely set up zoo. The animals often have natural looking enclosures where the buildings in and around the enclosures are themed. The Dinobos is fun for children with an interest in dinosaurs but is not very interactive. During busy days it is smart to avoid the stork flight, a kind of cable car and the pedal boats because the waiting times here increase considerably and both attractions are not designed for large groups of people. There are plenty of places to eat and places to sit throughout the entire park. For the children there is a playground and there are slides and climbing possibilities through the helepark around the enclosures of the animals. Great park for a day trip.

Very nice zoo. This zoo is created for kids. All the animals are visible true big glass fence so the little ones are able to see the animals in there buggy or when they stay on the ground.

Very nice park, it is arranged to the needs of a person, but especially to the needs of a child to experience adventures.
Staff is extremely friendly, seemed to enjoy working and helps where possible (if the camera needs to be charged). Guide that walked around was nice and good addition as well as the app with map and some info.
While some animal parks are only focused on making a profit, this park seems to be focused on taking good care of the animals and a fun day out for the whole family. And all this for a reasonable price. However, we find the parking space with 8 and the slow train with 1pp to be overly high

Super park, really enjoy. We were there in the fall. Sweet, friendly caregivers, who always took the time to provide information about the animals. The animals look well cared for and the lofts etc are spacious. You not only look at the animals but also around you how the park looks, really fantastic and impressive! It is clear to see that they pay a lot of attention to this, no animal park is as beautiful in appearance as here.

Last 25 years with my children, now 25 years later with my first grandchild. Still a nice nostalgic experience. Highly recommended, also in Corona time.
