Super fun a day at the zoo. Especially if it is also in your own city. It is a pity that you have to park your car for a fee. But as a subscription holder you can of course also take out a subscription for that. (Only possible with purchase, not afterwards)
Well worth the visit. Excellent theming without compromising animal enclosures. Easy to understand signs due to symbols and maps, though no info in English. Most animals visible and it didn't feel like they were locked away. Dinosaur area was great.
Lots of tunnels and slides for kids- cheap kids tickets as well.
Card machine at entrance accepts MasterCard and Visa. Staff were friendly. Would be great for kids due to the large play areas. Some of the koisks were closed so food choice was limited.
Probably spent 2-3 hours wandering around as an adult group- easy to spend a day there with kids.

It is an animal, leading to some moral conflict, but that aside they have pretty well organized things. The dinosaur garden is fantastic when you are 5. In the weekend it is very busy. That is not a problem in itself but it is full of overweight types who have had "Carpe Diem" tattooed and gigabyte after gigabyte of photos that nobody wants to look at.

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice zoo for, especially, families with children. The children can climb, clamber and crawl everywhere so that they can discover the animals in a fun way! (Photo is with the meerkats in the tunnel)
For improvement I would say the extra euro (s) you have to pay for the train, boat and merry-go-round. It is a pity that you have to pay extra money for these activities in addition to the entrance you pay in the park. Furthermore, the signage can be a lot clear.
But all in all definitely worth a visit.
The food festival in Amersfoort Zoo is really a must! We have been there during the holidays. You can enter it all day, but from 4 pm the entrance is only 7.50. From that time there are also a lot of food trucks in the park (at the restaurants / terraces) and you can enjoy live music. During the food festival days, the park is open until 10 pm, so plenty of time to view the animals

Been back after a long time and it was very disappointing in terms of smoking policy. This is poorly maintained. There is a lot of smoking at the playgrounds. And nice that you come for a day for a foundation for people who have had a heart and / or lung transplant and are received on a terrace with smokers .... Nice to visit, but I don't see myself coming back here often. In the quiet periods you notice that many stalls are closed. The throne is fun, with large cats walking around you through a glass wall. Bad to do if you have difficulty walking. Very very nice for children. many play equipment and places of discovery. However, not for children. lots of extras for which you have to pay just that extra.

Particularly dog and child friendly animal park. For dogs there are various drinking bowls scattered throughout the park and for children there are countless activities and attractions. Did not expect that it was that big, you can easily entertain a whole day.
A nice park. Our daughter is still talking about it. The train and the boats were a nice addition. A minimum amount must be paid for this. 1 euro for the boats and 1 euro per person for the train. There are all sorts of things to do and discover along the route, such as a rope path over the animal enclosures, stepping stones, a raft, a badger hole and other educational things. We rented a buggy at the park for 2 euros. The park is beautifully laid out with ample parking.
Very nice park! An adventurous park, very suitable for families with children. Almost non-smoking park outside the indicated smoking areas. Lots to do besides just viewing animals. Lots of choice in hospitality, only price and service was a bit disappointing. In summary; definitely worth it!
Very nice zoo, you can be very close to animals. A bit strange for me that dogs are allowed. Saw the bear roaring to a dog, it s not really good for animals.

Very nice animal park. A lot has changed with time, the dinosaur part we didn't know yet and takes quite a lot of the whole park. Maybe it was a snapshot but we couldn't see many animals. The animals were inside, nowhere to be seen or lying there. Maybe because of the heat and the covid measures it was a different experience than we had before. But it remains fun, and the playing activities. It was quite busy inside, so pay attention to the signs and keep your distance.

Had a nice visit today. Because of the warm weather it was probably a lot quieter than usual. We were a little early at the entrance, but we were able to have our tickets scanned immediately because there were no further lines.
The park itself has a fixed route with one-way traffic past all the animals and the dinosaur park. Most people also adhered to the 1.5 meter measures, so that was well arranged. You could get food and drinks at various stands, here too there were no or short queues today.
The DINO-Park is located in the south-western point of Dierenpark Amersfoort. Here you can make a circular walk. Along the path you see dozens of Dinosaurs standing among the trees; information about these animals, which have been reproduced on true (presumed) size, is shown on large bones. Along the route you will also find a Dinorenbaan. Here the distance traveled between two Dino-roar sounds determines with which animal your speed can be compared.

My childhood zoo, i love this place so much, it was my first zoo to visit.
We opted for a summer evening ticket. Besides beautiful weather, it was a very nice visit. The park is spacious. We were not bothered by too many visitors, we waited neatly for each other. Unfortunately we have not spotted all animals. They will have been inside more because of the heat ....
What a beautiful, green park too. This made it easy to maintain the heat. Enough shade and benches to relax.

Small cute zoo. Nice daytime activities when you're in the area but not worth the trouble to travel around town and country. Zoo is neat and well kept. Stays of the animals are beautiful and spacious. There are no birds of prey shows / demonstrations of feeding etc. (at least not at the time that we were there). There are also no separate "indoor spaces" such as those found at zoos such as Burgerszoo (ocean, amazone, etc.). If the weather is not good, you can not really hide.

Nice park! Beautiful animal enclosures with well-cared for animals. All kinds of climbing, play equipment and slides. Good food at the catering industry. Downsides are the lack of information about the animals at the enclosures, the amount of wasps and yet few original things in the souvenir shop.
Another point is that there was actually nowhere 1.5 meters away was kept by the visitors and at the building next to the giraffes everyone just walked in (dozens of) people in the building without checking!
