Corona visit.

Corona visit.
The park was divided with a fixed route, but sometimes it was not very clear and therefore many visitors ran against the direction. This mainly happened in narrow parts of the park. Easy to solve by forbidden to go signs.

For example, the reptile enclosure was unclear and everyone was very close to each other and people became annoying instead of continuing to argue.

Arrived at 10 am and we were outside again at 3 pm. Then you would have seen everything.

The slides were close to the animal enclosures which makes it so much fun, but understandable due to the corona.

Furthermore you have to pay for the pedal boat and train really ridiculous in my opinion but ok.

Dino forest is great for a son who loves dino. Lot dinos.

Nice children's garden! Because the children are central, not the animals. Also notice the signs with the animals. Totally no explanation. Only the name of the animal and where it lives. Nothing about the food or living habits. How it is with the species. Specific characteristics etc etc disappointing.

For everything else: a great park, child and wheelchair friendly. Close to the animals and how much livestock glass making nice pictures.

Top zoo. Parents and kids enjoyed it very much
Kids thought the dinos were very cool, but it was a shame they did not move or something like that. They did slip away from a few dinos. E.g. From the brochiosauros that are very high and size so they can experience how tall and tall they are

Amersfoort zoo is an ideal zoo for families. Not only can we see animals, but the zoo has made it so that children can see the animals from another angle than just through a glass wall, by having interactive routes built around the enclosure. A lot of playing areas for children as well, making each visit fun.

My toddler is having a great time, so that's all I need. For adults, there are many cafes with good coffee and food options for reasonable prices. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the whole park. Will be definitely coming back.

Not really sure about the well-being of the animals there. I guess they are well treated but they didn't seem very happy to me. Lots of people. Some parents were not well mannered and neither were their kids. Btw the fries were way too salty! The Japanese garden is very nice! Better to go with older children...

Particularly child-friendly animal park, lots of playground and fun interactive things to do. The animals have nice big stays and look well cared for. Also nice that in some places you can get very close to the animals without a fence in between, eg with the Ringtail Lemurs. Dinopark is also a great success among the children. The climbers above the animals' quarters are also very nice. Absolutely recommended!

An animal park with name.

An animal park with name.
But there are things you have to pay for.
So extra costs quickly.
Especially with small children.
The spinning mill and the children's train are not free.
And for a children's trolley one has to pay a hefty deposit.
One gets back.
Yet.
Parking is also not free.
All in all extra expenses.
Especially for a large family and narrow purse.

Always nice to come here with the kids. Lots of play equipment and also interaction with the animals possible. Definitely a nice zoo with a lot of variety in terms of animals, play opportunities and adventure

A beautiful zoo, with many different types of animals. On a sunny day there is plenty of shelter and shade due to the many trees. Some animal enclosures give the impression that the animals have little room to withdraw from the visitors. The wait time in the restaurant was disappointingly long. At the entrance is a nice souvenir shop.

Nice zoo in a wooded area. You do not get along nicely with the pram, but you can live with that. Parking by car costs 8 euros. Children can see things well because a lot of glass is used in the accommodation. There are also changing tables for the little ones among the men and women in the toilets.

Park with many animals, but not very practical. Small children have difficulty seeing the secretions in some animals. The pens are not too spacious for many animals and the spaces for the visitors are therefore very small. Certainly no fun on a busy day. There are also many extra "attractions" for which you have to pay separately, such as a train, bicycle boats etc.

What a great and child-friendly park. You can view the animals from different points. Children in particular have been thought of. By creep, sliding by, it is for children in this way much more attractive. The wooded area gives the park an extra dimension. You can go everywhere and see everything via the Mass Nothing Route. Highlights: ancient city and the dino park.
We have been to many animal parks, but this was really a special one.

Nicely landscaped zoo on the outskirts of Amersfoort. Lots of trees, so most of the walk is wonderfully shaded. The car park is also very shady. This is one of the few zoos where dogs are allowed. There are well-stocked drinking troughs throughout the park. The catering industry is well looked after, but the products are quite expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Fine zoo with many animal species at short distances from each other. Including rare and special such as the cassowary (go look!) And many maki species. Park very suitable for young children but by the above efficient design certainly fun for teenagers and adults. Recently more spacious in the back of the park. Night animals and bird cage also well worth it. Many animals a short distance and very good to see.

Nice zoo especially with young children.
In addition to the various animals, there are various playgrounds with slides incorporated in the walking route.
There is a train and there is a possibility to sail over a pond by boat, but these activities are for a fee.

Beautiful zoo where our children enjoyed. See animals well. Nice playground and climbing and climbing area where our children have fun.

Only as I read in a previous review are not always good paths unfortunately. Idd pieces of asphalt came up through tree roots and crumbled on some pieces of asphalt, which caused me a crash. Last missed part of the zoo because we had to go to the doctor. But despite that, we really enjoyed it!
Furthermore, incredibly well helped by two employees after my fall.

Ps:
We have not experienced the nuisance caused by wasps that I read so much about!

Update:
How incredibly sweet you called to ask how I am doing! Very thoughtful!

Neatly maintained zoo, friendly staff in the store, nice and expert guides who walk around and like to tell something. At 'De boerderij' first a quick cup of coffee turned out to be impossible. Inefficient way of working and not so pleasant service. Fill in on form what you want, then wait a long time, while also staff do nothing. When we were asked to give our opinion afterwards about procedural changes when we arrived, they kindly indicated that this seemed a bit cumbersome and it took a long time to get an angry manager (older lady) at our table. A weird, unpleasant start to this trip.

In particular, the lions and tigers we found somewhat small. They always walked the same round, this looked somewhat frustrated.

Nice playground, many catering options.
Especially suitable for families with slightly younger children. A one-off visit for us.

Have already responded but nice park recommended and advice if you want to see the whole FOLLOW THE BLUE PLATES FROM AF NUMMER 1 TO 40. Prices of a consumption is not too bad and affordable. Again recommended.

Nice and beautiful park. Especially aimed at children. A great view of the animals. Through a lot of viewing space and small holes for the little ones. You can also look among the animals. Awesome. When we wanted to go we saw the little panda up close. A carer just arrived to feed him. He took extra time with us so that we could take good pictures. So thank you carer for about 3 hours. The new dino part is also very much. Nice park definitely a ride.

Very nice big zoo with lots of nature in every corner and side. All animals look super healthy. smart to map out a route so you do not miss out on sights. In the restaurants it is nice and cool because it was hot outside. So you could still look up some refreshment now and then. Tific price for entrance and parking. Car could be put in the shade nicely and the dog was allowed (free) within what is certainly a plus. Also accessible by bus.

Very nice zoo. You can view the animals from several places and from very close. Spacious accommodations and many different animal species. Regards appearance very cozy. A lot of fun for the kids too! You have 2 large playgrounds. And further small play areas or challenges. Climbing over a rope bridge in an animal enclosure. Many clogged slides. Furthermore, a dino forest which is very large. And here too you can do excavations, glide, see the seesaw, climb and, of course, view and touch the dinosaurs. Have been here several times, and will definitely come back.

The park is beautiful and very woody, which makes it easy to do even with 30 degrees and I even thought about taking a subscription, but still give up. Many paths are quite wide and can now easily be 2 directions in coroba time, but everything in the park is 1 direction. If you have missed something or have lost something, you have to go through the entire route and start again. We had to return to the car as soon as possible because of an unexpected death, then you can walk back from one employee because it was a wide path, but when we were almost at the exit we met 2 other employees who just sent us there back through the whole park which took us over 20 minutes. Very poor service

Very nice zoo where especially the children can climb and clamber a lot due to the fact that during the walk various climbing, climbing and sliding equipment have been set out, which of course makes the discovery of the zoo a bit more fun. In terms of animals, they have sufficient species but no large monkeys such as Gorillas or Urang Utangs. However, this is compensated by the presence of rhinos and the fact that you can leave a bird spider on your hand or hold a snake. In addition, they have sturgeon swimming in a basin and the nocturnal route is also recommended. In short, very nice zoo to visit!

It is a nice animal park especially for the small children. They are challenged to take different routes.
Personally, I thought it was a shame that we were not given a map, so that we could not determine our route properly. there is a misniks route, but we found this quite confusing.
