Nice well-arranged zoo where you can see the animals close by. Very well tailored to children ,. After many visits with a very short description of the animals, there is often a slide as an exit. The only downside was that the wasps catchers that were hung here and there were not hung at the catering establishments. There was a lot of nuisance from wasps here.

Super cute zoo. Especially for children there are fun "side routes" made up. You can enjoy yourself again for a whole day and follow the signs "miss nothing" and you will see everything. Toppie. Had a nice day.
Very nice zoo! I particularly like the stray lemurs on the monkey island and the sloths. There are also a lot of playgrounds for children. Really recommended!
Beautiful zoo all on the last piece with the prairie dogs, I think it was not well indicated that there was a power grid so that our dog got a hefty power shock and went very times. Maybe place a clear sign with a lightning flash on it.
Nice park with clear route, so you see everything. It is a pity that many catering establishments are closed, which makes the choices for food and drinks limited.
Beautiful zoo with entertainment for the children in many places. It is a pity that they do not act better against people who do not adhere to the distance rules. Otherwise worth the 5 stars.
Beautiful park, beautiful walking routes with fun experience activities through the park. Lots of diverse animal species to see. Nicely set up park. Dinobos is of course not to be missed and the bicycle boats are also a nice addition.
With wheelchair or buggy it is difficult to see the animals. Because the park is becoming greener and they have open areas to look at the animals, which you can often reach via a path. Many of the paths are very uncomfortable for people in wheelchairs because of all the bumps.
Zoo itself is okay. Lofts are quite outdated nowadays, but little seems to be invested in.
The hospitality industry, in this case "Restaurant de Boerderij", was lousy. Never eaten so badly. Of course I understand that it is a zoo and that there is a bad image in terms of hospitality. But this is no excuse for such a lousy quality of food.
Bread with aioli and herb butter. Of which the bread is anything but fresh, the herb butter is rock hard in the fridge and the aioli is clearly cheaply purchased. This also applies to the weak French fries and the "Italian" panini, which is super dry. Fortunately, it included ketchup.
Anyway the park must be ashamed of this! Then you have such a park with beautiful animals, but then you serve food of ridiculous quality for high prices. Sin!
Parking was hopeless in a rejected parking garage where 2 children are responsible for safety ridiculous, in the restaurants there is a rat and mouse plague and just walk through the food on the buffet, staff just looks the other way, have also reported this to the staff and now also the inspection service of goods, and the prices of the hospitality industry are ridiculously high a sandwich unox 4 , purchase 0.65 also some stays of the animals are poorly or not cleaned and are severely outdated, causing neglect of the animals and animal welfare are at a very low pace in this zoo we visit a lot of zoos but have never seen this, something has to be done about it, that this can and may still be done in the Netherlands, authorities do what, do it for the animals stay in the super poor, because this is just animal abuse, and the management of Amersfoort Zoo you will be ashamed of these malpractices, after this posting I send a standard e-mail with the usual answer that they could not agree with our story, with an e-mail address of an employee that appears not to work, but outside of that show balls and say that you are going to do something or ask us specifically what we have experienced and then check whether or not it is right, but no how Amersfoort Zoo deals with animal welfare, so it is also about complaining visitors, so bad and not of this time and all for our own gain
Great zoo! We have been on a Thursday (outside the holidays) with very good weather. It was pleasantly busy at the park. The animals are good to see and have nice stays. Our little man of eighteen months has had a good time watching the animals and playing in the play equipment. The food is also well organized, so leave your balls at home. ;-)
We have a great time here despite it raining all day. Alternately walked outside and then nice to a warm interior. Enjoyed all kinds of animals. The (nostalgic) playground was also hot with the kids.
The zoo is so wonderfully made and the different themes and buildings where the animals reside are represented by different regions of the world. It so beautifully created and makes the experience more magical.
But, I was very frustrated by the blocked passeges that are connecting the zoo. Probably, the reason is COVID-19, but still, it is an outdoor facility and it doesn't make any sense.
Nice beautiful zoo. Beautiful walking routes through the park. Find the range of animals a bit limited. Personally, I don't need such an addition as the Dino forest.
Beautiful zoo, just a pity that the 1.5 is not observed, and ridiculous that smoking zones are closed ... this invites you to just smoke in the park, which is what happens
We had to wait 1 hour for a portion of bitterballen, shrimp and a piece of bread. When we finally got it, the shrimp were still raw inside. Admission is already 24, - euros and you still have to pay money for a merry-go-round and a train.
Super fun, also all the possibilities to go with (or without;)) child on all the climbing routes and thus see the animals even more. Consideration has been given to how it can be made as good and easy as possible for different ages to get the most out of such a day. I am thinking hard about a subscription. Sounds like a good plan!
In one word fantastic! A super nice zoo, especially for children. They can go above the animals' quarters via different climbing frames, so they stay active and see the animals even closer as at the window.
Very cool that there is also a small train ride a bit through the park, this was favorite with our son of 6 years old. You can also get a little closer to the animals by means of a pedal boat and a round trip around, this was very heavy and the boat we were in was steering badly so we often got stranded. But the idea is great!
We were particularly impressed by the tiger / lion residence, which was completely set up in style and the animals were clearly visible. Very cool that you can walk through the sloth.
We will come back more often, for us this is the most beautiful zoo we have ever been to.
Nice that there is so much to play. Many climbing and sliding options. It is also not too big, the whole Park can be seen in a few hours. (always find it annoying if you are already super tired but have not seen so much)
I did not think it was a nice zoo. The small train through the park shows you the bushes very nicely. The awake where some animals swam in was as green as grass. In a number of places it smelled so loud that it made you feel nauseous.
Nice that the dogs are allowed to come and be taken into account .. beautiful and cozy park. I also like to photograph but a lot of lofts with glass so I can't get a good and beautiful picture of the animals.
Fantastic animal park. We had great weather. Animals were good to see. Was busy but not disturbing. I saw three active sloths myself. Also the new attraction, the stork, done. Very nice a round at a zip line over the savannah. All in all a successful day.
Unfortunately, this is no longer a zoo, but a large, expensive children's playground with the occasional lonely animal. Ridiculously expensive for what you see. 24 euros per ticket and also an exit ticket for 8 euros. Parking is in very poor condition just like the animal quarters. Driving out is over unpaved roads with lots of holes in it, when it rains this is a big mud pool. Seen a lot of mice in the cages that ate the feed of the animals while the animals themselves ate almost nothing. There are slides for small children at many animal residences and the stork attraction is also a big noisy attraction near the animals. Shoemaker keep reading, turn this into an ANIMAL garden instead of an amusement park. Instead, construct a separate play paradise far from the animals and put the animals back in the center of the zoo. To our dismay there was also a food truck festival, music event and fair at the zoo. In our opinion, this does not belong in a zoo and does not benefit the animals.
What a fun evening and a book by Pierre Wind won on his wheel of evening time also won! Delicious strawberry flavored ice cream with mealworms, just forget to have the book signed by Pierre !!!
Been to this zoo for the first time. But we found it disappointing. The block times are a bit of a nose because the park was far too busy. There were rows in almost all animals. Soap pumps were empty and it was impossible to keep 1.5 meters away. The route was also not clearly indicated. Because keeping a distance of 1.5 meters was not possible in many places, we were not able to see the animals properly. But we did pay 96 euros. Regret this expensive day
Beautifully situated in the forest, many animals in beautiful residences, opportunities to get close to the animals, spacious other play equipment and sufficient resting places. A lot of attention to the experience of children.
Incredibly beautiful, green animal park. Well maintained, you will not see any dirt on the paths. The animal enclosures look neat and tidy. It was very busy in the parking lot but in the park nothing of actually noticed. Lots of play opportunities for the children. Many toilets, all neat. Many eating and drinking occasions, normally priced. We have done the "miss nothing" route so that you can see everything. It is a large park, we have been there for 8 hours. Well worth it!
Been last Saturday. Not to be repeated. I always liked it a lot for the corona and was also a subscriber. Now I thought it was way too busy, which makes keeping my distance in most places difficult. With 45 minutes we were out of the park, not relaxed. You could also see this in the parking lot. It used to be downstairs and upstairs full on a busy day. Now they also have a parking garage and even it was partially full. I only saw 1 member of staff keeping an eye on the distance. She walked in the most peaceful part of the park, near the safari. The fact that you can walk in one direction does help, but people stay in the middle of the path in groups and do not want to leave after questions. I heard from someone that this was also the case the day before. I understand that a zoo has to earn its money, but don't pretend on the site that it is all arranged so well while you have more visitors than last year.
