Customer Service?? Is there any?? My 85 year old dad, who is a former 49 year Chrysler employee bought a new 300 this year. He took it back to this dealership where he purchased the new car for service when it continued to stall as he was driving, rather concerning I would think!! After the 3rd time back to the dealer and calls to Auburn Hills, this dealership finally responded to his concern and repaired the problem. This morning he had another appointment to have the issue of two buckets of water that he found in his spare tire well repaired and he was informed that there are no loner cars available and he has to wait or do without a car for a few days or bring it back! Seriously, it's a good thing I'm in Texas and cannot drive to this dealership! Is that how you treat a 49 year dedicated Chrysler retiree!!??

Awesome! only had one little hiccup with my experience at dick scott! guess you could blame it on credit karma soft inquiries! but even then no big deal at all! Ricky Perez is the MAN when it comes to sales people, honestly its because he does not act like a sales man at all! no pushiness to get in to a vehicle you don't want, and especially no push into financing you don't want!(GREAT RATE STILL! VERY SMALL FLUCTUATION IN APR's and were not upset/rude when i wanted to make arrangements for better financing) Awesome and honest experience here! Im a younger guy from plymouth and i used to check out trucks here when i was younger, WHICH MAKES ME VERY HAPPY TO FINALLY PURCHASE AND DEAL WITH A SALESMAN LIKE RICKY PEREZ.

A auto tech for 32 years 20 of thoes under and alinment machain so took bosses truck to service for an alinment . 79 99 to do alinment droped off and hour lator service guy calls and says well we need more money cause the only way your speacail dodge dakota we have to remove the controll arms to do alinment. Oh ok went over as fast as i could and picked up truck .Went around corner to goodyear 45 mins .Truck done rides and drives awsum come on guys get real and get with the program. What a shame trying to get more money with dishonsty .

Went in here after test driving a vehicle I wanted at another dealership. Dick Scott had one with the exact features I wanted. Called ahead letting them know I had a specific price in mind and was told although they don't negotiate over the phone, I could make an appointment with the sales manager later that day. Was also told they would beat any other dealers written price by $500.

Met with the sales manager who had his sweet Apple Earpods in during the duration of our meeting. Let him know they were advertising the vehicle with the Employee Price at 10.7% while other similar builds at nearby dealers discounts were higher, such as 12.9%. The offer the sales manager gave me was off where it needed to be by about $3k. The manager said they don't chase monthly goals giving me the impression they don't care about discounting cars for customers. They would rather fewer cars be sold at higher prices. When I told him the number we needed to get down to he just said "No, I won't do that." Shook his hand and walked out and never heard a thing from them.

Bought my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited two days later from another dealership nearby for the price I wanted as they were willing to negotiate. Had much better customer service and much more professionalism. I did give Dick Scott 2 stars simply because it was a nice clean dealership.

OPEN LETTER TO DICK SCOTT DODGE OWNERS / MANAGEMEN...

OPEN LETTER TO DICK SCOTT DODGE OWNERS / MANAGEMENT:
I DON T do this very often, but my experiences with some of your new employees during the past couple of weeks were so refreshing and exceptional, that I felt compelled to make you aware of it. Additionally, I d like to point out that if you re attempting to make some improvements, particularly in the DS Service Center, as far as I m concerned, you couldn t be doing much better than with these gentlemen.

Specifically, I have had some annoying Suspension issues for over a year, which had been either partially or incorrectly diagnosed, or simply unnoticed.

To begin this corrective process (2 to 3 weeks ago), JASON BONE (Service Advisor) did a great job, and was courteous and very helpful in finally getting my vehicle in front of the RIGHT person, BERIAN NICHOLS (apparently a Suspension Whisperer ), who examined my car and immediately found some potentially dangerous issues. Subsequently, the associated parts were ordered and Brian (and Ryan) properly and expertly installed them, shortly thereafter.

However, as I exited the dealership that evening, I almost instantly heard the very same annoying rattle that has been plaguing me for over a year, and for which no one had been able to discover a correct solution...and almost everyone had thought it was a Suspension item, but as we eventually discovered...it was not.

Enter CHRIS COLLINS, your new Service Manager. DS had just closed, but as I drove back up the driveway, I saw Chris, who I had previously met, but just briefly. I related my dilemma, and Chris asked me to return the next day, whereupon he volunteered to personally ride along with me in attempts to reproduce and listen to the noise.

The next day, Chris rode with me around downtown Plymouth ..and literally 5 MINUTES LATER, after hearing the noise, Chris took an educated guess that my issue was with my Braking system, and not the Suspension, which turned out to be 100% CORRECT, and appears to have been completely remedied with a Front Brake job. Add to this that Chris demeanor is businesslike, calm and smart, but also very approachable, a great combination of traits in perhaps THE most challenging, but pivotal dealership position. Furthermore, the MOST noticeable of his characteristics in dealing with my situation was his obvious sincerity in his desire to diagnose and correct my issues. Simply put, you absolutely made the right choice in appointing Chris as your new Service Manager.

Another one of your new hires with whom I dealt closely on this occasion was JOSHUA MILLER (Service Advisor). Josh is young, but very bright and well beyond his years with his social and communication skills, and most importantly, his ability to inspire confidence that he will work with you to help get your issues resolved. His calm demeanor and temperament are also ideal for the Service area, and he was excellent with follow-up, so I didn t have to wonder about the status of my vehicle.

In summary, we all know that many are quick to condemn others with negative feedback, but sometimes not as expeditious in doing the opposite, so I just wanted to Congratulate you for the obvious improvements at Dick Scott. Please feel free to contact me with any comments, if you wish.

I purchased a used 2008 Jeep Liberty from the used...

I purchased a used 2008 Jeep Liberty from the used auto department and they worked very diligently to meet my payment needs. I loved it so much, that in less than a year I went back and bought a 2012 Jeep Liberty. This salesman I believe was filling in as I do not think he knew what he was doing. He has yet to make good on fullfilling my lease contract after nearly a year, I got tired of asking for it at about 3 months. The service manager, Joe Prokes is a delight to do business with, and I've had all my maintenance done at their service dept. I really thought the previous service advisor was very kind, I believe his name was Darrel; the new one, Dan is not so welcoming and is a bit harsh and insensitive, at least this was how I was treated by him the last 2 times I saw him. Otherwise, I have, and will continue to recommend this dealership to my family and friends.

We were introduced to Dan Hamblin by the sales Manager, Jason Scott. He made the introduction because Dan is the "Wrangler Specialist". That description is perfect. Dan knew everything the Jeep we were looking at and answered the myriad of questions we had. He's owned 6 of them himself. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He made the entire experience better.
We love our new Jeep!

Half the staff barely knows whats going on most the time and they are always quick to get off the phone or pass you along to someone else to avoid doing the work. Used to be a good dealership. Won t be going back or recommending them.

Sheri is awesome. Originally came in to look at a 2018 Chevy Trax. Wife did not like it so she found us a 2015 Jeep Cherokee that just came in at a similar price point. Got us approved for a small loan with a decent APR with average credit. Walked us through the whole process and kept in touch throughout the whole thing (first time dealership buy). Even had a porter pick up wife to drive back to her car to get back to work while I finished up paperwork.

We love our new car and highly recommend.

I did get a really good deal on a used vehicle although it did haves a few problems that I have to take care of. Other than that there service and attentiveness well I was there was really good I do recommend them to others.

When I dropped my 2020 Ram Limited off for service I was told that it would be completed the next day. I was given a loner and was called that afternoon that the repairs where completed. The repairs were first rate and and I am completely satisfied. Great job!!!

Buying a car should be simple, why must you spend a lengthy amount of time trying to get a good deal that works for your budget vs them giving you an outrageous price.... on to the next dealer.

I will never deal with this dealership again. Service is horrible, no communication, I was told I would be called back and I never was. I had to call several times just to try and get a response from my service writer who was always gone for the day. I made several attempts to contact the general manager but I was never put through. When I finally spoke with him he was very rude. This dealership needs to be restaffed.

I have had several vehicles from Dick Scott, but I have to say this by far was the easiest and best experience. I was contacted to upgrade my vehicle as I had been many times. I was told that I could get a new vehicle with a lower payment. I had been down that road before and was unable to upgrade. I went to the dealership thinking that I would listen to the sales pitch and leave disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised when my sales representative, Casey Rose told me I would be able to trade my 2010 Journey (basic model) in for a 2015 Journey R/T (with many upgrades) and that my payment would be $50 less than my current payment. How often does your car payment go down? I am saving money and enjoying my new vehicle. Thanks Casey!

I brought in a 2020 vehicle with 4,000 miles on it...

I brought in a 2020 vehicle with 4,000 miles on it because the sunroof was stuck open in the vent position and would not close. Mind you, I park my vehicle outside and this is my only vehicle. Because it is not parked in an enclosed space, the repairs were urgently necessary.

I called to bring the car in, had to make an appointment (first available was a week following my call). Luckily no rain for the upcoming week.

I showed up for the scheduled appointment, and they stated that I would need to leave the vehicle with them to be diagnosed. I was curious as to why I scheduled the appointment if I had to leave the vehicle to be diagnosed? They stated that the appointment was only to get the vehicle checked in line to be serviced.

Rep told me that I would need to get a ride to pick me up or they could shuttle me, along with three other people. (Keep in mind, I am using work time for this appointment and don t have the time to waste sitting there or driving around with three other people being dropped off). I asked for a loaner due to the vehicle still being under full warranty, he stated that they don t give loners anymore and that every single loaner they have has been recalled. He also told me that in order to give a loaner, they would have to first verify that it is a warranty defect (reason why a diagnostic at the time of my scheduled appointment should have been warranted). None of his answers made sense and it was all what seemed to be a BS response.

Disappointing service overall.

I m the end, the vehicle got repaired. It was a warranty issue, as expected.

In the future, I will likely go somewhere that will be more accommodating and conscious to customers time and resources.

Excellent in Every Way

We went in with many questions about what to do with a lease that was about to go over miles and options about buying another family car. Jim Scales could not have been any better in helping us out and getting us the best car with the best deal. We would up getting out of our current lease early and into a new (and better) T/C for just a few dollars more a month than my current lease. We also bought another family car a Journey Limited at the same time. Jim and the crew were great about taking care of us every step of the way even staying after on a beautiful Saturday afternoon after closing time. We can not say enough great things about our time, service and care from Dick Scott Dodge.

Dan Powers is the best. Honestly. I really think that he is the nicest, most honest and genuine guy in all of sales. I never feel pressured, or that I have to lease a vehicle. I always know I will be taken care of at Dick Scott. Dan treats you like you are family, and just really does his best to get you want you are looking for in a vehicle. I would recommend not only Dan, but Justin as well, as he makes the signing process so easy.

Dick Scott is the place to get your vehicle, and this is coming from a female that plays hardball with prices. They are willing to get you in a great ride. Dan and staff never talk down to you, or make you feel silly. It is a very family oriented environment, and I recommend my family and friends to go there.

We weren't going to buy a new car until next year, but a potential computer problem that presented a very real danger to us on an upcoming trip made us decide the time was now. We had owned two Jeep Cherokees in the past, one was a Cherokee Chief, so when we went to the dealership we were going to look at Cherokees. Marcus Lloyd greeted us on the lot and after talking with him and test driving both a Durango and a Town & Country and talking privately about which vehicle fit our needs (and my short stature) we decided on the Town & Country. Marcus was a wealth of information about the van, took us out for a test drive then gave us time to talk between ourselves and make our own decision. We didn't feel pressured to make a decision but did get the attention we needed to buy the car we needed. Our experience was very good.

They sold me a car and told me it was fully inspected and safe. Within 3 days I had to replace the driver side axel and 2 days after that it just stopped working. I will never be doing business with them again and discourage you to do business with them as well.

Holly was an excellent Sales rep and all other staff members who assisted us were warm and welcoming while we handled our lease deal. Paperless signing quick and painless-everything was itemized and outlined as we preferred. Appreciated the quick, yet thorough process for our new Durango . Our boys love the captain chairs and they still have room for a couple friends in the 3rd row which is tough to find on current mid-sized SUV models. We were able to get the extra seats, leg room, lots of bells/whistles without upgrading to full-size SUV. Price was well worth all the cool features/amenities! Whole fam is lovin' this vehicle:)

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! If I could submit this post with 0 stars I would. Spend a little more money and buy from someone legitimate. These people will swindle you and cheat you as much as they can for a pay check. I financed my first vehicle through them and it broke down within a month of owning it. It's a certified used under 32,000 miles that came with "BUMPER TO PUMPER-90 DAY WARRANTEE". Towed it to the nearest Chrysler/Dodge dealership and little to nothing was covered. I had to pay a $100 just for them to look at it. Joe D was the salesman that assisted me through the process and he lied about service hours to avoid this conflict. A penguin dressed in a business suit. KEEP SEARCHING FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP, THIS ONES A SCAM.

At first we though this place was great, that's why every time there was a warranty issue, or issue period, we'd bring our ram here. Well all the hassle started when one of their shop guys ran our truck into another vehicle on their lot. Four months later and a bunch of run around for them to give us rentals while THEIR shop took forever fixing THEIR mistake. I almost felt we needed a lawyer, they'd constantly try to give us a rental with restrictions and at a cost. We're probably never going back here again. Plus, the fact they said they'd work with us to replace the vehicle they messed up, never happened. Just a warning if you come here for a simple issue, it may become a big one, they can't accompany..

My entire lease experience was a very informative, positive and honest process that I will definitely not hesitate to repeat in another 3 years. Dan Hamblin was my salesperson and was simply outstanding. He answered all the questions I had, which were plentyful, and actually answered a few I had not even thought of asking. I would rate him a 10 out of 10 and would readily recommend him to anyone in the market for a Chrysler product. The whole thing was very well done and I'm thankful for the knowlege imparted from Dan and Jason Little as well who followed up with even more information that I may have wanted to consider.

we got a recall notice on my 2003 pick-up. was told had to make apt. was for 10am.. 4 hrs later still my truck not even started, no rental cars available, so we walked uptown.. 5 hrs later the service Dude finally got us a ride home. we live in Green Oak Twp. we are NOT happy with the service their at all, then this morning I had your shuttle service come back out and get John Rich to get my truck.. they had it parked in the back almost blocked in ..you should have brought it up front for him.. y'all have NO people skills. you do not treat customers like that.. I left my travel coffee cup (LARGE) blue and white their.. yes I forgot it.. got home called them right back and no one saw it.. BS. I hope this finds its way to Jason Scott, or 1 of the MGR's

We purchased a used Jeep from this dealership about a month ago, and the experience was a good one, Dominic was our sales representative and Brian Bush is the manager, who we met the day we were there. We experienced a problem with the front end of the Jeep about 2 weeks after we drove it off the lot, I was aware that the Jeep is sold as is but I thought I would call Brian the manager, just to see if we had any options. Brian told me to bring it back so his mechanic could take a look at it, so we did, and not only did Brian and his staff replace the ball joints (which was the problem) but he also gave us a car to use for the few days they had our Jeep! Brian did not have to do any of this for us, but he did any way! We appreciate what Brian and his staff did for us to make things right, and we will recommend this dealership to everyone we know who is looking for a used car......they are the definition of Customer Service!

Just had an oil change and tire rotation and had to wait over an hour and half...my car was done earlier, however, no one came to get me...the customer that was behind me asked me if that was my car outside and of course it was...he said it had been sitting in the parking lot for awhile...my car was not washed either, so a bit disappointed with my service.

From the initial introduction of myself to Jason Scott, through the entire purchase process, and down to the final delivery of my new vehicle, the entire experience was quite satisfactory.

All of the staff members that were involved in the transaction were very helpful and informative.

I look forward to growing a business relationship with the Dick Scott Group much like one I enjoyed having for nearly 20 years at the previous dealer I dealt with, before their sale to a "Corporate Group of Dealerships" that no longer treated me as a customer, but more like a number.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2014 dodge Ram. I got my truck back and I am missing my wheel lock tool, they failed to take the old oil change decal off and put a new one on, and it squeaks so bad in the cab I can hardly stand it. I took the truck back and speaking with the service director he was able to look into the issue and fix the it.

But with Fox Hills C/J reopening just the street (after having been forced-closed by Chrysler) I'm outta here. See ya! They're way better.

We bought a 2010 300 from Dick Scott's used lot and we thought we were getting a great deal. The sales associate was so nice and with the big smile to cover up the big lie.
I asked her so MANY times. Has this car ever been in a car accident?????
She said yes 1 and that it was in a SLIGHT bender fender. Surprise... our car started going bad not even 1 1/2 year after buying it. We decided it was not worth keeping it anymore. I went to Ann Arbor Surburban to purchase another 300 and thought we will get a great return because there was only 36K miles on it in 2014, that would be awesome, Another disappointing SURPRISE, this car was in 2 HUGE accidents! We lost so much money on this car.
I will NEVER go to DICK SCOTT dealership ever again and I would stay far away from the Used lot!

Terrible customer service. I attempted to return our Chrysler 300 to the dealership. We did not buy the car from this location but were told by Chrysler we could return it to any store. Upon telling the salesperson that I did not purchase my car from them and was not intending to buy a new car they refused to accept my car saying they did not have room on their lot unless I was buying a new car. Good customer service would be helping someone when you know you have nothing to gain. I will not return to this dealership and will advise others to do the same.

Car listed with remote start, back up camera, heated seats. None on car. Was told car was safety inspected . Found broken spring. Gas gauge inop, knew about this, salesman said had gas in it, was actually running on fumes. Daughter would not have made it home with out stopping for gas, then had tire blow out on way, probably hit something in road. Spare tire was flat. Salesman lied to me and coworker who was coincidently there, told us both other guy got great deal because we both there and buying. Other guy didnt buy anything and he did not give me 2 cents off price. Never ever will return.

Just ok. I had my car in for routine maintenance. It was nice, I didn't need an appointment, I just drove right in. The guy I talked to was a little crabby and not really explaining what I needed done and why. Then they had my car for almost two weeks and didn't call and say that it was done! I had to finally call them and they were like "oh yeah, it's been done awhile". Once I finally came to pick it up, I received no explanation and was rushed out of there. Good service on my car, but try to work on your people skills.

When I looked at the truck it was dark outside and raining due to coming from work. When I finally saw it in the light while getting it detailed found numerous unoticable scratches in the paint that couldn't be seen in the dark and also discoloration of paint in a few areas. None of this was disclosed to me at time of purchase. Carfax was clear so I had no reason to question the paint. When brought to the owners attention his body/ collision shop gave me an estimate of an amount that had I put with original purchase price would have afforded me a newer vehicle with no blemishes. Other than that the truck rides great. My salesperson was awesome. Everyone was friendly but not really satisfied with the previous fact.

Parts Department is Horrible went there waited 15 minutes for anyone to help me . The casher called someone said they would be right up after the fourth Im sorry from the casher I just left. If that is what they call customer service I will take my business elsewhere. Lot's of people standing around no one helping anyone.
