This place is the place to go in Ft Myers. The resort is exquisite. Awesome restaurants. Beautiful pool and two hot tubs.

Great place right on the beach. Perfect for the family or couples getaway. The staff is super friendly, the restaurants have great food and drinks.

Great place, nice ocean view, walking path to the beach, great bar with a nice happy hour. Only downside is that there is no smoking restriction at the pool, our children couldn't spend any time at the pool since there were so many people smoking without any consideration for the kids.

Well if you stay don't be in room 711 the a.c. units are right next to the balcony can't sleep at all the people upstairs are super loud . Spent 869$ for a 2 night stay the room was very small the bed is uncomfutable. Just expected so much more for what I got spent 33$ on omelette and 2 eggs got plastic fork and plate. My freinds 13 year old made me a better breakfest Never again will spend money here .

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They SCAMMED me for over $500. I booked a beachfront room which was then canceled without my knowledge and sold to someone else. I was then charged $535 and put in a poolside room that I DID NOT book. They went again and booked me another night in the room I was already staying in without my knowledge or permission. Then the woman at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude and laughed at the fact they canceled our room and resold it within 15 min of checkout. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is OVER PRICED, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND THE STAFF I VERY RUDE. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with a hotel.

The room was nice, our view was lacking and the exterior needs a little ambience.

We had a great stay at the DiamondHead Beach Resort. The staff was exceptional and always had smiles on their faces. Our room was very nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. I would suggest this resort to anyone. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. We did not need our car unless going into downtown Ft Myers.

It's our fourth year coming to Ft. Myers Beach and first time staying at the "newly renovated" Diamond Head Beach Resort, what a HUGE mistake and false advertisement. I am not clear how they achieve the 4 star status. Out of an 8 day stay our room was cleaned only half of the time after 4 PM which is an inconvenient time as this is prime time to be in the room getting ready for dinner etc. On the rare occasion housekeeping cleaned, the floors were not swept in the bedroom nor were we provided with clean sheets during the entire 8 days. When a resort is on the beach this is a necessity due sandy everywhere! They certainly cut corners on the renovations as there are no towel racks/hooks anywhere for wet towels, suits, and no working fan in the bathroom. There were also tiny bugs along the baseboards in the bathroom. The pocket door to the bedroom malfunctioned and locked upon close every time. One of the sliding door handles fell off in my hand when I attempted to open. The mini freezer did not work. The very old worn sleeper couch was smelly, and disgusting to sit on. Daily we had to call the front desk to obtain either kleenex, tissue or paper towels as the cleaning lady did not provide supplies. There was only one functioning elevator in our tower. I am not sure what the extra 15% daily resort tax paid for exactly. This was not a pleasant stay nor would I recommend to anyone.

Went for brunch, was very happy overall with the service. Eggs could have been better, but overall a great time

Diamondhead is by far one of my favorite places besides pink shell on Fort Myers Beach strip to vacation at when I'm staying away from the Miami hustle and bustle streets. I would say it's number one in the Fort Myers 16 Mile Strip based on value and how you get the most bang for your buck. I definitely highly recommend the oceanfront Suites I swear you can have a party of 10 in the balcony and there would be comfortable! That is the prettiest view it is a 3 million dollar view paying only $250 a night in High season. Very very very reasonably priced if you're looking for a great vacation spot without breaking the piggy bank and if you're a family or simply a couple this hotel Goldwing pink shell top three and Lovers Key of course I would say top for to visit in Fort Myers Beach. The restaurant seems good although we didn't die in there but it's right in front of the pool area the pool area is right in front of the beach it's just a win-win across the board it has also undergone I believe a 16 million dollar renovation

We were blown away. The resort was very clean, the staff was great. The suite that we stayed in had great views and everything we needed and the proximity to the nearby restaurants was perfect. I wish we didn't have to leave!

It was okay, not as great as we were expecting. Chloe's was far below average.

They had great wait staff and the food was amazing! It was surprisingly quiet so we got lots of attention from the servers and it was like we were their only concern.

Our room was very nice, just wish we weren't right next to the lounge, especially on karaoke night.

It is a charming place, I recommend it 100% it is paradise

Diamond head is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a resort with fair pricing and have absolutely everything you could ever want then this resort is where you wanna be!. Its the best place on the island

Beautiful resort, great location, great water view, great service from the bar/restaurant stuff they were amazing, 1st time traveling to ft. Myers and we were already talking about making more future trips to this hotel within hours of getting there.

This place has concrete walls in the hallway. Which I totally understand for hurricanes. However, everything in the halls echoes. I'm not an early riser and I could hear the housekeepers cleaning rooms & talking early in the morning. As well as people talking loudly at night. Everything just echoed down the halls. We were at the farthest end away from the elevators too. Also, I really appreciate cleanliness and expect a totally clean place. There was hair on the bathroom floor and something splattered on the wall (my husband thought it was hair dye) in the bathroom. Nothing horrible, but some small things I noticed. The rest of the place was very clean. They had great singers at the lounge/ bar downstairs when we were there.

Great Facility! My room over looked the water. Beach was right there. Cabana and Coste restaurants and bars were nice and offered a selection. My room had a kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. Couch and living room area as well as a bedroom with good sized bathroom.

Meeting room was good for our group of 20.

This is a great place to take your family! The views are phenomenal, the service is incredible, and the hotel is very high quality! Their newly opened restaurant is very fancy and a very cool atmosphere to eat in. They offer so many things to do you never feel bored! Would highly recommend to stay here to anyone with their families or even their friends!

Nice rooms and right on the beach. Tree beach was clean and well groomed. The rooms were nice, granite counter tops, tiled floors, tiled walk in shower, balcony was screened in to prevent bugs from getting in. Instead of a key or keycard, you receive a bracelet that lets you into your room.

Very nice place with great views of Fort Myers Beach. The rooms are very nice, as well as the property too (nicely maintained, landscaping ect.) It's on a nicer, quieter part of the beach compared to the area close to the bridge, not as many people and more enjoyable. The staff is great, very friendly. I always enjoy my time when coming here.

Room facing the beach... Screen in balcony is greatly appreciated... Room service was excellent as was the food. The open lounge with live intertanment was Great. As well as the food. Would recommend that you come and enjoy for yourself.

Went to see Chris Kemp perform at the beach bar, and then got to see Clive Live in the inside bar.

We had a wonderful week staying at DiamondHead Beach Resort. Very clean & friendly staff. Awesome pool for kids, poolside served drinks from the bar.

I drove in, smelled the air and drove out. Toxic Algae combined with Red Tide and dead fish. Hopefully this will be better by winter because this place is really a great place to vacation. This is mostly caused by big sugar and our government so called leaders and should be tempoary.

We had a terrific experience at this oceanfront resort on Fort myers beach Florida. Staff were extremely accommodating. A little pricey but worth it.

I always go for a cocktail on the beach bar. The bartenders are great and the cocktails and food are so good. I recommend coconut shrimps. Sometimes there's live music and you can see the sunset on the beach. One of my favourite places in FMB

Diamond Head was nice when I visited last year, but it's been remodeled now and looks BEAUTIFUL! Such a modern and refreshing twist in the lobby and hotel rooms. I love it! It's so contemporary and lovely. Mongolian shrimp at Cabana's is pretty great too. Very tasty and definitely something that I look forward to eating again my next trip over to the island.

The staff and amenities were fantastic. We celebrated my twin daughters 16th Birthday this past weekend. Our food was great as well as the beverages. Prompt service and everyone was so friendly. We enjoyed our staycation. Thank you Diamondhead for making this a memorable weekend!

One of the cleanest hotels on the beach and very friendly staff. It was rather noisy in the morning with nearby construction during our stay. It seems one of the hot tubs is always shut down as well... One of the guests told me it's been shut down for years.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Extremely friendly staff. Safe, gated pool for families and the beach bar is literally a step onto the beach. There are shops and nightlife just a five minute walk towards the pier, but the beach area at the hotel itself is relatively quiet. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this resort. The rooms are modern, clean and makes you feel at home. Balcony is huge with a great view. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love that the pool area and 2 jacuzzis can be used at all hours. The tiki bar and seating area are cute and convenient. Can't wait till my next vacation there!!!!
