I received a recall notice on my 2019 Honda CRV. I made an appointment at 10 a.m. to have this taken care of. I was told that it would take one hour plus whatever time it would take to fill out the paperwork to have this taken care of. However upon arriving I was told that I would have to leave the car there since they were already working on somebody else's car ahead of mine. I was told that it might be ready by the end of the day. What's the use of making an appointment when this doesn't eat really mean anything.

I just leased a 2018 Civic Ex with the moonroof, display audio, and side camera. I can't tell you how much the staff and service were super friendly. I walked in not knowing which car was for me. I made an appointment and still took 25 minutes for a service advisor to see me at the designated waiting spot. The "express change oil" took 2 hours to be done. They even forgot to place the usual windshield reminder for the next oil change.
I bought a certified Odyssey Elite from here and I was very pleased with my experience. If you re actually interested in a specific car, I highly recommend setting an appointment so you aren t swarmed by the sales guys. Jimmy was our salesman, and he was super mellow with no aggressive sales pitch. He just stood back and showed us how to use everything when we asked.
Another thing I was impressed with: We had an issue where part of the body was damaged in front of the rear wheel well and it wasn t noticed until we got home later that day. I text Jimmy about it and he immediately had us take it back and they handled it no questions asked. I was stoked! I was expecting push back.
My only complaint (small one) was that they didn t fill up the gas tank when we purchased it. It s just a nice little touch when you spend 10s of thousands of dollars to start off with a full tank of gas! Overall great experience and I would definitely buy from Diamond Honda again. Thanks guys!

Came in for a regular oil change and it took over a half hour for a "service advisor". Why would they be competing paper work when there are actual customers waiting. Also the regular employees walk around looking "hung over" and not having a clue on what's going on. Terrible servive.

I recently bought a new car and had a very bad experience with them. The deal was agreed upon on 2.99% interest rate but Cantonese speaking sales Danny, who has been working 8 years there, got me to sign a paper which is not showing the interest rate, but instead of monthly payment. After I did the calculation, I found out the payment was based on 6.99%. I have to make him to correct. When I got home, I had more time to review all the documents I signed, and I found out on the contract it showing A.P.R 4.34%. I call the Financial Manager and he apologized ---I forgot to tell you that 2.99% is only for 60 payments term, and for 72 payments is 4.34% .
Came here to buy a 2018 Honda Accord. Spoke with David Cho over the phone who was able to give me a price estimate over the phone and didnt actually do a bait and switch with the price or quote me some outrageously high price right off the bat unlike some of the other dealerships I spoke over the phone and in person with. About 50 minutes of negotiating and running credit score we were able to get a great price lower than what any other dealership was offering. Quick and easy no playing around when negotiating. And it also comes with the lifetime powertrain warranty that no other dealership was offering for free. Will definitely come by again next time I'm looking to get a Honda.
Sylvia is always tentative and helpful as ever. I'd love to give 6 stars rating to her friendly, thorough and patience in what she does for a customer. On the contrary, I was not satisfied with what Honda's responsibility for the failed products of tires in which they have contract with. The Continental tires caused rubbing noises at around 16K driven miles, and they don't offer any warranty to their products nor Honda would offer some responsibility to it. The car is still under manufacture warranty but sadly the tires! My car is a 2017 Sport Model FYI, and I've been told about this very issue to many vehicles of the same model and tires issue. Hopefully in the future, Honda would take note to drop business with the Continental, and go with others reliable outsource products or at least offer some responsibility to customer satisfaction.

Diamond Honda is the definition of helpful! As soon as we arrived the service was fast and straight to the point. Our Helpful Honda Guy this time around was Rafael Ornelas. He had so much knowledge with our vehicle and educated guesses with what our problem could be. He was able to fix our radio right away with no problem. After getting a diagnostic we were more knowledgeable about our issues and had a quote on what we would pay. Went to Diamond Honda to look for a CPO 2014 Odyssey. It started out kinda rocky as the sales guy that helped me initially was apparently having a really really bad day. Also I asked if there was gonna be someone that spoke Cantonese or mandarin and that person wasn't even there ! I'm not even sure if that person exist ?
(April 2017) Thanks to Helpful Honda Guy/sales consultant Chung Ly, I left Diamond Honda with the exact 2017 Honda CR-V that I wanted! It has been years/decades since I bought my last Honda, and a lot has changed! (As a testament to the reliability of Honda products, I've owned/driven/loved my Honda Civic for 23 years with no major issues. That is not a typo. My 1994 Civic LX has over 210K miles and has yet to disappoint!). My transaction happened over the course of two weekend visits, some online research, and staying in touch with Chung in between my two visits. He reached out to me shortly after my first visit and made sure to communicate with me throughout the week, in a non-pushy manner. By the time I arrived yesterday, Chung had the exact model/color scheme already pulled and ready for me to take home! We drove "my" car around the block and then he sat in the car with me to educate me on all the features and tools, fielding my million random questions along the way. Chung provided excellent service and never-ending patience to make sure I understood how to utilize all the new bells and whistles. I had an issue right after driving my new car off the lot, called Chung, and there he was, half an hour after ending his work shift, being his Helpful Honda Guy self, going above and beyond to make sure my car was functioning properly and that I was a happy customer. THAT is customer service at its best! (And no, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car, it was a simple case of user error/the user having a dingdong moment!) If you're in the market for a new car, and are considering a Honda, I highly recommend you stop in to Diamond Honda and ask for Chung to coordinate your purchase. Chung and the rest of the Diamond Honda staff are all very professional and live up to the Helpful Honda meme. (September 2018) When it came time for my father to get a new car, we need we would go back to Diamond Honda to work with Chung Ly. Our desire to work with Chung was based on his caring demeanor and the trust we had in him, based on my CR-V purchase. We knew that he was knowledgeable, and knew that we trust him. Through Chung's patience and persistence, in the course of nearly a month of waiting for inventory, my dad was able to drive home with the exact Honda Civic in the exact color scheme he wanted. But before we left, Chung took the extra time to stay with us and to educate my 82-year-old dad on all the technological features and tools, making sure he knew how to utilize each one properly and safely. Chung provided excellent service and never-ending patience with my 2017 CR-V patience; this time, in 2018, he went above and beyond both in acquiring the exact Civic model and color we wanted, and in the post-purchase phase when he offered to provide my dad extra "tutorials" should he need help after the vehicle purchase. Chung's excellent customer service does not end once a new Honda owner drives off the Diamond lot and goes home in their new car. It continues and he becomes a friend that you know you can count on. Everyone at Diamond is highly professional and helpful, but Chung's caring customer service is exemplary and should be the standard for training new salespeople. IMPORTANT - Please be aware that Honda V6 engines have a defect that causes them to burn oil and causes the car to misfire. My car has been at this dealership numerous times for this issue while under warranty. Again, while my car was under warranty, the dealership said they had addressed the issue. But they obviously didn t solve the root problem because 10 days ago my car broke down again (had to be towed) due to the same issue and has been at the dealership ever since. I have learned that Honda now extends the car warranty for owners of these engines. However this dealership now tells me my vehicle does not qualify for warranty repairs even though my car was under warranty when this issue began.
My family and I have purchased numerous vehicles from this dealer throughout the years and I expected fair treatment on this issue. Please be cautious when using this dealer and their service department.

My mother and I went to go shopping for a vehicle for her. We went to other places and they just couldn't give us the deal that we were looking for. Plus they weren't as friendly. We almost gave up until we decided to stop by Diamond Honda of Puente Hills in January. We were greeted by a very polite salesman named Jr Saldua, He was very knowledgeable about the cars he showed us and assured us that he was going to take care of us depending on our needs and not to just sell us anything. Since my mom was always used to driving an SUV, Jr convinced her to try a brand new CRV. She fell in love with it and decided to get it. Jr got her more for her trade in than the last couple dealerships we went to and everything was handled faster than we expected. The people in the dealership were very friendly and helpful. The service was great and the facility was neat and clean, not like the other places we went to. Overall, I would go back and buy my next vehicle from Diamond Honda of Puente Hills and from Jr Saldua.

I've never had a problem with this place until this week when I went for a oil change service was very bad. I've been here in the past And service was great. I purchased my 2018 odyssey ex 2 weeks ago with David Cho, it was a very good experience as he is very attentive and showed great care, although the negotiation took a long time to reach our goal (still few hundred dollars off). However when we got the car, the paint job on the side door was poorly done with several bubbles. It took 3 days for them to repaint it. Overall, the car is nice, david is nice and i would recommend him to anyone who wants a honda.
